Great service. Mouthwatering food. Drinks selections are endless. We did the tasting 10 and left so food. Also my husband is gluten free and the kitchen. We're able to cater for this. Highly recommended if you're in the area.

Very interesting dishes. Delicious play on Japanese and Mediterranean food. Top notch presentation points too. Friendly staff.... Try the set menus because it's the easiest way to get across all of the best of the current menu. Lunch times are a lot more free.

Tasting menu is the best choice for first visitors. 2 sets of different food for 7 and 8 courses and 10 courses is an upgrade from the 7. Not too complicated. The first 3 are light and surprisingly nice. Raw beef and Sashimi Kingfish are the best. Mushroom dumpling is too soft and doesn't feel quite right. Scallops and brisket are too salty, even though make sense as it is Japanese fusion. Potato is worth trying. Fennel ice-cream is not recommended, too much herbs and funny taste. Interesting courses overall.

This restaurant and bar has a good vibe and ambience. Now the food is amazing and a fusion of Japanese and Mediterranean cuisines. This fusion just works and the flavours are phenomenal. It’s up the hill of Bondi and a little hidden which makes for a secluded spot. I would recommend this restaurant and leave room for deserts. We ordered one desert and were given another to try. Awesome front staff and chefs. Please like if you find this useful.

Came back here after 2 years. Experience was even better than the first time. Got the 7 tasting menu last time, some of the main courses were weaker, such as the kimchi pork ribs, but they have since improved and perfected it with additional sauces and kimchi with better leaf Wraps. The oysters, raw beef wrap, soft shell crab bun, teriyaki fish, cabbage and dessert were all uniquely amazing. Best dining experience in Sydney, would definitely recommend, amazing food and affordable as well. Even had a candle on the dessert for my gf's birthday.

We had the eight course degustation. Every dish was beautifully presented and tasty. The standouts for me were the raw beef and sesame leaf, saikyo miso monkfish and burrata with caramelised artichoke purée. Staff were attentive and friendly. Pricing also very competitive. Will definitely be back again to try the rest of the menu!

Disappointed. For the price we paid, we received share dishes, 10 courses, but 8 of them are share dishes. Normally it doesn't matter, but for a Degustation menu .... Sharing is not what most of your customer expected. The extra effort of having individual plating goes a long way chef. The most expensive item we had was probably the oyster?! or the fish? Flavour is there, but portion is way too small comparing to all other similar restaurants. For the main, octopus was cooked perfectly, but again its not enough, for the pork Rib ... No offence, I can cook it better, nothing special there. I am sure you can make something better. We have Aoli in a few dishes, I dont agree that it works for some of the dishes. None of the dishes we had was memorable, and that is a massive problem and we weren't full... The only reason that we couldnt finish the last of the 2 desert was because we have waited too long, and lost our appatite, and the melted ice-cream (your last desert) didnt look appealing. However, I love your Green Tea/Green Apple Desert, beautifully presented and it is the only item that was served by itself. I hope you can fix the issue, and we are happy to give it another go. These are my honest opinion.

I will start off by saying that I'm not a connoisseur of fine dining, but I have eaten in several fine dining restaurants in my life. Never have I had a degustation before though, so I was very excited. My sister and I both got the 7 course tasting menu, without the alcohol pairings. We simply got a glass of white wine to sip through the courses. While the meal is advertised as Japanese-Meditteranean fusion what I tasted was definitely skewed in the direction of Japan. I would be hard pressed to remember Mediterranean elements of that meal, except maybe the romesco sauce with the octopus dish. We enjoyed our first four courses which were smaller dishes, just a few bites each, but after that, it was a struggle to feel enthusiastic. The monk fish dish was sweet with nothing to cut through said sweetness, the pork ribs had been overcooked to the point that they had become dry and tasteless, the same with the potatoes which were so crunchy that they hurt to eat. The dessert felt like a palate cleanser, and for us lacked the punch to make it memorable - although I was delighted to learn what sorrel tasted like. Maybe my expectations were higher than was warranted and that's why I wasn't thrilled with my overall food experience here. The service was polite, friendly and attentive.
