"For solid coffee, look no further than this bakery-slash-cafe. The drinks include espresso beverages, cold brew, drip, teas, and matchas, alongside smoothies. Then, for easy food, there are sandwiches, loaded flatbreads, salads, and snacks, plus a lengthly baked goods list ranging from cookies, tarts, and to cinnamon rolls. Takeout orders can be placed in person; there are indoor and outdoor dine-in areas." - Nadia Chaudhury

My partner and I stopped by Blanco Brew while exploring Wimberley, and we were so glad we did! The vibe here is exactly what you want in a local coffee shop—cozy, casual, and welcoming. We both got cold brews, and they were spot on: smooth, strong, and refreshing without any bitterness. You can tell they care about their coffee. The space itself has a warm, inviting atmosphere with plenty of seating and natural light. It’s the kind of place where you could hang out for a while, catch up with a friend, or get some work done. Plus, the staff was super friendly and made us feel right at home. Definitely a place we’ll be coming back to next time we’re in town!

I've been here before, many years ago.. I got some stuff to go and went on about my business.. Fast forward to this past Saturday.. passing through on our way to Old Baldy from Blue Hole.. This visit, however, was less than good.. I don't understand how people order and not make them immediately (kinda expected bc cashier yelled out our smoothie orders as we were paying.. I mean, we put in our 2 order of smoothies and 2 pastries, and about 4 other people ordered after us, and all got their orders first.. when I asked my bf where our stuff is, he said, oh they're just now making it.. Enough said.. not a fan of this type of service.. anywhere.. we were looking at shirts and wanted to purchase a few (we're visiting from out of town) and decided not to..

Absolutely love this place - the atmosphere, the food, and of course the coffee. You can tell that the shop is run with love and care as evidenced by the way they treat their customers. Highly recommend and bought some beans for home as well. The Ethiopian medium roast is amazing!

Google
Popped by for a hot chocolate & a fruit and veg smoothie. We sat out side because we are British and love the sun ......which we very rarely see back home. The hot chocolate was very very tasty came with options of condiments marshmallows etc I went for cream and chocolate sauce. Didn't need any sugar in the hot chocolate it was just pure excellence 👌 the staff are welcome and friendly. Most shops say enjoy your holiday or stay . Hahaha it's hard to hide over here with such a broad UK accent. Never the less lovey smoothie too. Well so my better half said any way . I did have a sip of the smoothie but I'more of a hot chocolate kinda guy. Love wimberley town so much. Real chilled out vibe.

Google
Blanco Brew is my favorite business in Wimberley. The staff is excellent. The coffee and food are great. Reese is a great guy and the baristas (especially Ava) do a great job remembering orders and always greeting folks with a smile on their face. I highly recommend this place to anyone. They’ll make your day better!

Google
If you're driving through Wimberley, make your 1st stop here. The service is small-town friendly, they have numerous flavors of fresh coffee & do not pass up the pastries. A hidden gem.

Google
The coffee was absolutely delicious. Our barista was very friendly and also helped with recommendations for other places to visit in town. Some of the best coffee I’ve had in a while!

Yelp
It is refreshing to find this coffee shop in Wimberley, TX. As we walked in, it seemed to be very similar to a Starbucks Very friendly staff (barista) doing it all. Our coffee's were prepared to perfection! They have free WiFi that works very well. Pastries are similar to those you'll find in most coffee shops. I had a lemon blueberry muffin (not as good as I expected). It seemed pre made from box, and not a The ambiance is accommodating and clean. A shoutout to Blanco Brew! Thank you!

Yelp
Food: ok, frittata was a little spongy, would not order again Service: staff were friendly, helpful. Overall a good cup of coffee; however, my order was not right initially--syrup was not added and there was some confusion on my order. I would give them another chance.

Jaeden W.

Yelp
First impressions of this coffee shoppe is the warmth it brings in the cool morning. Walking in you are greeted with the smell of fresh baked goods and espresso. I ordered a lavender latter (Medium 16oz) and my wife ordered the 'mellow man' which is toasted marshmallow, hazelnut and vanilla. The coffee was smooth and very rich in flavor. Great way to start the day or place to go to study. Although the latte was good, I wish they made their own syrups for their drinks. I think that would take this place to the next level. The service was good, the female who took our order was informative, kind and gave great recommendations. If this place is always as busy as it was today, I was suggest getting a bigger espresso machine to be more efficient with their product. More of a preference, but, it would be fun to see some latte art. Overall good experience.

Yelp
Had a great experience at blanco. The staff member was great. She listened, was delightful to work with and was super patient. The food was yummy! We had the quiche and chia seed pudding. We'd stop here again without thought.

Yelp
Blanco Brew is my favorite stop for coffee during my weekly run to Wimberley. Excellent service with various baked items as well. Lovely interior with photos and paintings. I be stopping for five years

Taylor G.

Yelp
If you're looking for a place to study or work remotely in Wimberley, Blanco Brew is the place. It's my go to for remote working when I just need to get out of the house plus the coffee is really good. The baristas are super welcoming and quick to make your order. The shop has super laid back vibes unlike your typical shop which can sometimes feel like they're rushing you out. For example, when there's only one barista and pretty slow when someone else walks up to order, they finish your drink before taking the next. Yes, that means sometimes I'm the person waiting to place my order, but it's a great reminder to slow down. So basically your typical small town coffee shop! Definitely worth a stop when in Wimberley!

Yelp
Blueberry danish was good. Coffees and tea was strong, but smooth. Good energy from staff.

Stephanie C.

Yelp
The cold brew is LEGIT. The staff is warm and inviting-not fake. At all. We come here every time we visit Wimberley. .

Billy H.

Yelp
Great Coffee and a Fun Stop Food: The food here is good and the coffee is better. I enjoy the Tux Mocha and a quiche. Service: Staff are always nice and understanding. Plus they work really fast. Ambiance: Great spot to stretch your legs or sit and work on your computer. Every first Sunday of the month you can catch a fun cars and coffee car meet. Enjoy

Yelp
I've been living in Wimberley since I was born. I've seen multiple businesses here at this location growing up. it used to be Maoi Waoi, then it was coffee shop, then it finally became the Blanco Brew. This place is in better hands than it's ever been. Coffee's good. Workers are chill. I can relax and do some stuff here like meet up with old friends or do some studying for college. The place is clean and kept up. I've been coming for a couple of years now, and they do a neat point card where you can get a discount on your 10th cup, which is a nice incentive for keeping up with doing business with them. If you're in town to meet up folks, or to find a casual spot to study, work, etc. I recommend this place. It definitely competes pretty well against other coffee spots.

Dylan G.

Yelp
It was our first time in Wimberley and among the coffee shops we tried, Blanco Brew was our favorite. All of our coffees had the right amount of coffee flavor. We'd definitely make a trip out just to try some different flavors.

Brent V.

Yelp
Wow! Fresh roasted beans, dark roast from Brazil, is very interesting and delicious! Take some home to enjoy every morning. Maybe the best coffee this old afficianado has ever enjoyed. Cranberry walnut salad sandwhich and salads make for great picnic lunch. Sit inside or out and enjoy the day!

Robert M.

Yelp
Easily my favorite Coffee shop in Wimberley. Generally great staff, good caffeine and tasty breakfast foods. I am a bit miffed that they default the tip to high amounts (like how much do the servers actually get??) and they "fool" you by cutting the sausages in half on the sausage kolache's making you think there's more in there than appearances. But, with the number of options, what do you do. Stick with the coffee and not the pastries is what I do.

Chad S.

Yelp
Great service, GREAT COFFEE, great atmosphere! My wife and I were in town for 3 days, had to stop here each day! It was THAT great! We both really liked the iced white mochas! We also bought a bag of the Blanco Brew Dark Roast to take home! They even offer to grind the coffee beans for you when you purchase a bag! Super cool! Definitely recommend them if you are in town or passing through!

Chris N Michelle M.

Yelp
Cute shop. Slow service. We had a group of 7 and only about 3 liked-ish their coffee.

C F.

Yelp
Great dark roast drip coffee. Our coffee maker at our air bnb broke and we got our morning coffee here every day. And not coffee shop prices- super reasonable! We will definitely be back.

Susanna K.

Yelp
Great coffee, the best pastries and they have really good healthy options for food! I love their smoothies as well.

Suzette C.

Yelp
Definitely recommend a great coffee and wonderful dessert each made with love and served with a smile. Regards Suzette

Yelp
Amazing little cafe! We selected this place as the start to our girls day trip and no regrets!! The coffee was on point. I had a bourbon brew, yes you read that right, bourbon and that's definitely what you taste beginning to end. I purchased an orange cranberry muffin that was delicious. You could taste each component of yumminess. I'd be remiss if I didn't share other items on their menu. They offer espressos, cortada, regular coffee, specialty, and cold brews. And, all of their baked goods are made from scratch! The staff was not only attentive, made great recommendations, and welcomed every person that walked in, more impressive is that it was genuine. Need to go back sooner rather than later. They sell their whole bean organic coffee by the pound.

Marissa T.

Yelp
Very good coffee! Vibe was awesome and very cute coffee shop. And the coffee was amazing!

Michelle A.

Yelp
The best coffee shop in Wimberley Texas.. huge variety of caffeinated drinks, juices, teas, baked goods.. they serve lunch and carry vegetarian and gluten free options.. great music, ambience and local art..

Matt H.

Yelp
I had a great experience at Blanco Brew! I don't make it out to Wimberly often and needed a spot I could whip out my laptop and take a quick work meeting. The WiFi was strong, coffee even stronger and the food was next level! My wife and I split the pizza panini and the chicken salad sandwich (chicken salad sandwich being our fav for sure). To drink I had the barrel aged cold brew . The barista explained the barrel aging process to us, using local whiskey barrels. Definitely worth a shot when taking in Wimberly. Btw these sandwiches were stuffed, great bang for buck.

EddieandLinda B.

Yelp
Delicious sugar free flavored latte. Better than Starbucks! No need to drive outside Wimberley to have a great cup of coffee. Nice place and I was served by very efficient and nice young lady.

Krystal S.

Yelp
Edited since the business felt the need to reply in a sarcastic manner. I ordered a PLAIN macchiato but received a caramel macchiato from the barista. Instead of wasting the coffee I chose to go ahead and drink it and there wasn't anything wrong with it until the bottom where the syrup settled. The point of reviews is to give honest feedback but if you can't take constructive criticism then maybe you shouldn't be the one replying to customers reviews. We bought 2 coffee's for $15 that is a bit pricey, but again I still left a solid good review before you felt the need to reply in a satirical fashion. If you want cheaper better coffee and baristas who actually make your drink as ordered AND ask you what you like to make suggestions I recommend you go two blocks down and visit Cypress Creek Coffee :) Cute coffee place but they are a bit pricey. Starbucks prices basically but we wanted to try it out so we went ahead and ordered. Coffee was fine until we got down to the last few drinks then we both threw them out because all the syrup made it too sweet. If you're staying in the area and don't have a coffee machine or just don't want to make your own its worth a trip, I wouldn't go out of my way to come here but it serves its purpose if you're in the area already.

James M.

Yelp
By far the best coffee and pastries in town, even surrounding! Dan is the coolest barista and the girls all rock! Rachel the owner always makes an appearance when I'm there too so you always feel at home. Try the lunch menu it's not as busy inside and they usually have most of the usual pastries and croissants

Jessica L.

Yelp
Love this place!! The chai was amazing!! The cinnamon rolls were fabulous!!! The workers were super friendly...help create that positive vibe!! And I loved the atmosphere...my new go to coffee shop in wimberley!!

Scott G.

Yelp
Love the Wimberly area and after staying in a tiny cabin we ventured out for coffee and breakfast. Blanco Brew is right next to the ConocoPhillips Station a block down from the HEB. Great coffee menu with all of your standard favorites. What I much appreciate was the food options- delicious pastries, muffins, cookies and an option of a ham & cheese croissant or sausage and cheese. Definitely worth a quick pop in to start your morning.

David V.

Yelp
Lovely place for a coffee in Wimberley. Friendly baristas. Pastries if you're hungry. Smoothies as well. Free WiFi. Seating inside and out.

Mitchel R.

Yelp
Good coffee but holy cow my coffee was so hot! I mean, not like spill it in my lap and sue, hot, but more like it was too hot to drink for at least 15 mins. The decor consisted of stained glass which was for purchase. We enjoyed browsing the pieces while waiting for our coffee. Check this place out, it was pretty solid.

Maya A.

Yelp
Stopped by here on the way to devil's backbone on a whim, and we're so glad we did! The staff was super friendly. I ordered an iced white mocha which was so good and not overpoweringly sweet. My boyfriend and I both ordered blueberry cheese danishes which were amazing! They make everything in house including the dough and you can definitely tell- it was the best pastry I've had in a while. We also got 2 smoothies, the cypress and sunrise, which were both very tasty. Be sure to stop by if you're ever having a coffee craving in Wimberly!

Joseph F.

Yelp
Blanco Brew is a welcome addition to the little town of Wimberley, a snuggly coffee house tucked near the city center, featuring a Nuova Simonelli Appia espresso machine. The espresso and the brew coffee is both flavorful and enjoyable. Service is exceptional by the knowledgable baristas. Local equestrian artwork featured on the walls enhances the atmosphere. The coffee house is very clean and has an air-conditioned interior lounge and a patio for those sunny days. Hidden in the back of the shop, is a quiet meeting space with padded seating, perfect for reflecting or a board game. Very exceptional coffee!

Kristin G.

Yelp
Cashier seemed like she hated her job but the barista was really nice. They have a good selection of pastries and kolaches. Unfortunately the coffee was really bitter. I wouldn't go back.

Dayris C.

Yelp
The smoothies were delicious and refreshing, and the pastries were also great, friendly staff!

Frank S.

Yelp
Highly recommend! Great coffee and pastries! Friendly folks behind the counter and very comfortable seating area. You'll love it!

Peter O.

Yelp
The restaurant clearly states that masks are required. Every single patron in here was wearing a mask, yet the manager / owner was not wearing a face mask, nor gloves. Nor was she social distancing. The cold brew also tasted fake and unappetizing. Will never come back.

Betsy R.

Yelp
Bring your cash! Blanco Brew passes the credit card fee onto you if you use a card. They call it "cash discount." 2 smoothies and tip was a walk out price of over $10. The smoothies were bland, but good consistency. Probably will not return to this business.

Kat S.

Yelp
WARNING! They charge more than what they advertised on their wall. The wall listed $4.50 for a small coffee, but didn't say that's the cash price. We were charged $4.79 for a small mocha and an additional 0.17 for non-cash payment. We pointed out the discrepancy and were told that the sign was more than two years old. No other explanation for their false advertising in large size font on the wall. They did not refund the difference or apologize for not informing their customers not to trust the prices on the wall. There were no other price listings. They also did not inform us before we pay that there is an additional charge for non-cash payments. If we knew that, we would have paid cash. We've been to many places that pass credit card fees to customers and were told of the cash option to avoid that charge. We were not told about the up charge. The cashier just took our credit card. As customers, we should not have to figure out payment options. It's the obligation of a business to inform its customers about the actual prices of items for sale and payment options. Two years is a long time to keep the inaccurate prices on the wall. Even if repainting the wall takes time, there are many ways to quickly inform the customers that the prices have changed and that the prices on the wall are old, AND to provide a list of current prices. Price changes happen all the time. This is the first time that I've seen a business using "old painted prices" as an excuse for false advertising. Coffee was just so-so. Will not return.

Tammy H.

Yelp
Great coffee and baked goods! Loved the iced coffee! Will definitely return when I'm in the area again!

Craig J.

Yelp
Wifi inop- showed staff not working on multiple devices for multiple folks. Shoulder shrug from staff. Great to be friendly, but when so loud ... well, every place has it's vibe. We all have choices - I'll choose differently. Note after owner's response: The business side Wi-Fi signal was working properly according to staff. So, blaming Spectrum is another reason not to visit...

Charles A.

Yelp
Very accommodating and friendly staff, and a great place to meet Wimberley locals. Rachel, the owner, is a businesswoman who pursues quality in every aspect. Suck back their dark, delicious cold brew with a hearty sausage and cheese croissant. You won't be disappointed.

Ann-Tyler K.

Yelp
Fantastic coffee and delicious pastries at this lovely place in Wimberley! The staff is nice, there is plenty of seating and we even had a respite from the craziness at the town square. Highly recommend!

JustMe A.

Yelp
Nice & Clean! Cool layout of the space. We ordered hot chocolate and coffee. Both tasted delicious.

Dee F.

Yelp
Easy access from Hwy 12 with lots of parking speedy service. Limited food options. 3 stars because I ordered a cafe au lait and was handed a nice compostable cup (+) and ask to fill it with the brewed coffee of my choice. My choice had less than 1/3 of a cup left in the dispenser. When I pointed this out I was told to mix my Ethiopian with a Guatemalan to the level I desired or wait 15 min. The Guatemalan was also on its last dregs so I ended up with 2/3 cup of coffee rather than 3/4 . ‍Then the simple syrup was empty, which I pointed out. By the time it was replaced my coffee was cold. Still no medium roast to warm it up. The shop seems to need help or a schedule to check their products. I was there at 10:45 on a Saturday and 2 people were working.

mike c.

Yelp
Great local coffee shop. The employees care very much about what they do and the owner is involved in the community of Wimberley and is very focused on delivering a great product to Blanco Brew's customers. The coffee is great and the bakery items are always fresh and fantastic. Have been coming here for years through 3 previous owners and store iterations and have watched Blanco Brew continually make changes to speed customers through the line, enhance product and invest in and class up the place. Absolutely love the place and the people who work there.

Jill D.

Yelp
Brina and Alfred were the best baristas and Nora was baking up some wonderful paninis and pastries. I always get the best service and am always pleased with my coffee and food. Highly recommend!!

C S.

Yelp
The gentleman helping me and the woman making my coffee were pretty nice and helpful. The coffee is pretty good and the blueberry cheese Danish was excellent. I'll definitely stop by again.

Jaclyn D.

Yelp
I've lived in the area almost 2 years, however, stopped in for the first time today. I thought to myself, why did I wait so long! They were moderately busy for a Saturday morning, but the staff members were cheerful and quick to get customers their orders. My oat milk latte was fabulous and hit the spot. I will definitely be back!

Daniella C.

Yelp
Love the staff at Blanco Brew, some of the best customer service you will get. Their coffee is top notch. Best cold brew you will get anywhere! The pastries and food are delicious, most certainly the best place to get a sweet treat in Wimberley.

Jeannie S.

Yelp
Friendly crew, great coffee and snacks. My daughter is picky about her drinks and she loves Blanco Brew! Thank you
