Blanco Tacos and Tequila serves up nachos that are far better than they have any right to be. Loaded but not overwhelming, each bite balances crispy chips, melted cheese, and just the right amount of toppings. It’s the kind of dish you order as an afterthought but end up talking about for days. Even more impressive is the speed of service. Despite a packed house, food arrived shockingly fast without sacrificing quality. Staff moved efficiently but never seemed rushed, keeping things smooth even in the chaos. If you’re craving nachos done right, Blanco delivers—quickly and exceptionally well.

We stopped in here for breakfast and enjoyed our meal. The huevos rancheros was our favorite of the two dishes. It’s definitely expensive, but that’s the nature of eating at an airport. You can order and pay all online which is nice. The service was fast and friendly.

Google
Inside a terminal at the Phoenix Airport. They use an online wait list. It was requiring an account to sign up but the hostess was able to add us to the virtual queue. Service was aggressively friendly. Food was ok. There are a few vegetarian options but the rice is not vegetarian

Google
Great Mexican, food for an airport, cold beer available. My waitress was so helpful and polite. Inviting atmosphere and food came out surprisingly fast but was on point with flavors and taste. If you have time and want a decent, delicious meal, check this spot out.

Google
This place is not a good example of the incredible Mexican food Phoenix has to offer. Over priced and 0 passion on the menu or ingredients. Don't bother going here there are better in the airport and way better in Phoenix! The tacos were tiny and expensive and they were not good. Very basic and $12 beer is ridiculous! As someone who works in the industry and reviews places I can tell you that this place is a waste of money! I'm going to Wendy's now after that weak meal

The bar tenders are amazing!!! The manager is sweet and talks to you, very genuine. I loved my time here. What a nice place to chill.

Google
I recently had the pleasure of being served by Jimi at Blanco Tacos and Tequilas in Phoenix airport, and I couldn’t be more impressed. Jimi brings such a welcoming vibe, with positive energy that makes you feel right at home. Always smiling and genuinely happy, Jimi made my wait before my flight comfortable and enjoyable. It’s rare to find someone who can turn an ordinary airport layover into such a great experience. Jimi truly deserves recognition for the excellent service and hospitality. I highly recommend stopping by if you’re passing through the airport!

Google
Food was great! Matt at the bar was friendly and on point. Despite the fact that he was having to carry the entire bar both service and drinks because this other bartender was constantly on her phone. We will be back, but only if matt is working

Nathan M.

Yelp
Listen, it's an airport bar in a satellite terminal. So I didn't expect mind blowing food. But their guacamole and salsa were good! Perfectly spiced and not oh-hum. The ranch waters were even better! If you have time in Phoenix airport and want a place to sit, have a bite and a decently priced airport adult beverage try this place. I would definitely stop here again while waiting for my next flight!

Vinny D.

Yelp
Ordered a Pork Burrito received a mess. Tortilla was completely shredded, food was everywhere but in the burrito. It was obvious and should not have been handed over that way. They should have just put it all together in a bowl with that effort. Went straight to the garbage. For $20, save your money and walk to Panda Express 20 yards away.

Delta R.

Yelp
Had time in between flights and was craving a burrito. My husband and I used the QR code to add our names to the waiting list.. the place was packed! However within 5 minutes we got a text our table was ready. We were seated at our table, and used the QR code on the table to order our food. Our waitress was very attentive, she ensured our drinks were filled and our needs were met. For being airport food, it was pretty good. The chips and salsa came out rather quickly.. and the burrito as well. The burrito is HUGE! You definitely get your moneys worth. Pretty good spot in the airport if you have time to spare.

Kathy O.

Yelp
Stopped during a layover. Quickly seated. Scan barcode and order at table. Server efficient and attentive. Ordered green chili pork tacos that comes with rice and beans with extra side of sour cream and guacamole. Appetizer chips and salsa. Generous portions. Prices competitive. Flavors are delicious. The dining room and bar areas have half booths and standard table and chairs. TVs with sports playing throughout. Would stop again.

Cindy N.

Yelp
We were not impressed by the food and service was also extremely slow. It wasn't even that busy. I barely finished my Mahi taco because it wasn't that appetizing and tasted bland. We probably waited for 30 minutes before being able to order. There was no wow factor at all for me. Also, I noticed the glass of water had lipstick marks on it and the other glasses didn't look clean either. Ugh. Disappointing all around.

Lenny L.

Yelp
The food was good, but not great! Not a very good selection of mixed drinks and they didn't have any frozen margaritas and their selection of aqua frescas was very limited. The restaurant was very nice and the service was fine.

Carly W.

Yelp
This place really knows how to make a great margarita-the best on the menu are the Strawberry & Mandarin Margarita, Jalapeño & Pineapple, and The Mango Stand. The food itself is pretty average, not as much flavor as I would like and I pinch of too much salt. I do like that they give free chips and salsa if you sit at the bar. The service was also average, not bad, but not great. The decor is very fun and vibrant. I would maybe recommend this as a great place to grab a drink and catch up with friends.

Allison S.

Yelp
Food mediocre. Drinks OK. Service below par. I had to ask 3 times for water and ordered it no less than 3 times online before I got it. I had To walk up to the bar and ask for waters just so I can eat my food..... Tables seated after us got waters. How do they expect you to eat a meal without water or drink? This is 830am on a Thursday so I'd recommend somewhere else to eat / drink

Yelp
First time I have ever been to Blanco Tacos and I saw the food coming out which it all looked good. The burritos looked nice and warm on the dish when they came out. I ordered the chicken caesar salad with a Bud Light. After I had saw some meals and food coming out. The Caesar salad was really good. The Caesar dressing was more vinegar flavored but I enjoyed it. The service was good and the bartender was very aware of you were low on water or a beverage. Blanco Tacos is definitely a busy atmosphere it a good spot to wait for your plane if you need a spot to chill or work. They had outlets under the bar which is super helpful.

Jeffrey C.

Yelp
Decent pork burrito, kinda overpriced and small. Sit down space is convenient and we were next to the gate.

Tim T.

Yelp
Great chips and guacamole! Also have been here in the past. Their salsa is also good but maybe has more of that smoky quality to it. They also have excellent iced tea and service was excellent in that they readily made me an Arnold Palmer (iced tea and lemonade). Nice stop to eat at if you are waiting for your flight to board at the Phoenix Sky Harbor Airport. Also great setting to just sit down in and charge your phone. Recommended!

Griffen F.

Yelp
My colleague and I checked out the location as we were flying through Skyharbor. We were seated quickly and told that the menu was found on the QR Code. We checked out the menu and found a couple items to order. The chips and salsa were 2.5 dollars. The food came quickly. Staff were attentive, but were also busy and moving through the space quickly. The quesadilla was flavorful and well sized. The tacos were tasty, although the rice and beans were not packing a large amount of flavor. We enjoyed watching the people move throughout the airport.

Katherine A.

Yelp
You can get a good breakfast burrito at Blanco To Go in the mornings. They have choice of cheese, bacon or chorizo burritos that are fairly large. The bacon burrito is filled with fluffy egg, pico, and bacon. Potatoes on the side were crispy with a mild spice. While the line was long, it moved quickly and food came out quickly. They have sit down dining with a full menu, but I did not try it.

Matthew C.

Yelp
Layover at the airport and you would think being at an airport they would rush people through, but they heavily rely on a app for service which delays everything. Food wasn't anything special. Cesar salad has the Mexican spin using corn and corn chips instead of croutons. Overall nothing great if you have time for another terminal so that.

Anna R.

Yelp
This is a fine place for airport dining. We had a short layover and needed something realtively quick. We were seated right away and scanned the QR code at the table. We were able to order everything through the online ordering system. Staff was walking around delivering food and helping people with the online system. The food came out pretty quick. We ordered the queso, chips & salsa, tacos, and a bowl. The food was decent and pretty salty. I would definitely get the chips & queso again, but would probably try some different appetizers.

Crystal M.

Yelp
The gluten free tortilla was top notch! The egg and bacon no cheese burrito pretty tasty for airport food. Very busy but nice wait staff.

Beau H.

Yelp
I have been hitting up this spot since it opened and Blanco makes me happy! What a fun and amazingly talented staff this local spot has. Bartenderess XT is so funny and not only can manufacture drinks at a rapid pace she also speaks French. Her co-star Camill is a perfect match as she gives this place an upbeat fun energy that reminds us to enjoy our day. I recommend the breakfast burrito ( Because it's always breakfast somewhere : even Hong Kong ) I'd say get it without beans and just double up the rice ( to make your take home nice ) Blancos Happy Hour starts at 2pm and goes until 5pm so plan this afternoon accordingly. Thank you for what you do Blanco!

Joy B.

Yelp
Perfect airport layover spot. Fresh good food , friendly service, quiet, quality ambiance. . We enjoyed the Queso nachos and each ordered the veggie tacos. we could've definitely split the tacos as they come with 3 plus , black beans and rice, and the nachos were a huge! It's a clean, quiet spot in the phoenix airport to enjoy food or a drink while waiting to catch your flight ! Follow me at purejoylifestyle . Yelp
Blanco Tacos & Tequila airport restaurant maintains a reasonable level of crowd management. Despite being bustling, it is kept clean and tidy. I've frequented this establishment multiple times and have consistently encountered friendly staff. Despite the busy atmosphere, they efficiently cater to customers without making anyone feel hurried. Every dish is served fresh and in generous portions. I particularly enjoy their chicken burrito and make it a point to order it almost every time I visit. If you're looking for something near the B gates this is your spot!

Roberto N.

Yelp
Waiter is outstanding! Handles the crowd and the crowded area like a real pro. The cons; Food is lukewarm not warm to hot. Tables are just a bit too small for two entrees- especially if you had chips or any additional starter items. If you try to have three items on a two place table, at some point, you'll probably be wearing one of them! The taste of the food is very good.

Yelp
7/20/24 at 10:40am Honestly, the server or maybe server manager was really rude, not sure exactly positions, but wasn't the host they were really nice. It was a white lady with a lot of earrings on and glasses and hair in pony tail. I went to the bar to ask the bartender who came up to me earlier about how I ordered the drink he made me on the QR code and he said I'll make it, Don't worry about it , so then that lady came at me aggressive and said you need to order the drink on the QR code and I tried to explain situation like I went up to bar to ask how I added that certain cocktail he made, but she wasn't listening to me at all. I definitely felt embarrassed she was loud as well and I just never treated with disrespect like that. Then the bartender came over with the drink that he made me, and I didn't feel comfortable being there anymore and I just paid and left.

B D.

Yelp
Best airport tacos I've had to date. Service with a smile, and laid back atmosphere, what more can you ask for from an airport restaurant/bar? Oh and the margs weren't too shabby either.

Quinn N.

Yelp
Convenient place to grab a protein drink to keep your vitamins up. Not overpriced, considering the nutritional value and the airport environment. Pairs well with the meal you can grab right next door.

Holiday P.

Yelp
The draft is nice and cold, and the food isn't bad except for the rice being way undercooked. However, the beer glass is gross and not washed properly. My steak burrito was served on a plate that was not washed properly. The 1.5" rim of the white place has greasy swirls you can play with, and had clear white crust chilling off it. Plus, there were smudged yellow sauce stains as if they were trying to clean the mole off, but did so unsuccessfully. The group next to me of 4 people seems to have left without tipping after eating over $120 dollars worth. I wondering if they had bad plates and cups. Did I eat it? Yea, I'm hungry and I have a flight to catch. Chances are I won't get sick. Will I come back? Yes, only cause it's the only place you can sit and have a beer at Gate A..

Eric B.

Yelp
Gayle and I had breakfast here this morning before boarding our American Airlines flight to Reno (and then home). After an easy stroll through the TSA Precheck side of Security, we had enough time to sit down and enjoy our meal and favorite beverages (coffee for me and Bloody Mary for her). CONS 1. Gayle's Bloody Mary was rather weak. 2. My bacon was overcooked and the "over medium" eggs were too runny. PROS 1. Friendly, attentive, and efficient service. 2. Relatively comfortable seating and a low crowd and noise factor. 3. Decent pricing for Airport food. 4. My traditional breakfast (including an English Muffin was warm and tasty. 5. Good coffee with free refills. 6. Gayle enjoyed her breakfast burrito.

Peter M.

Yelp
Came in on a layover flight back home, and did the table reservation for a single- and seated in 5 minutes. Very busy & loud, but the food is really good & the services is fast and very polite. A bit pricey, but the food quantity is excellent. If I am back in Phoenix, i'll definitely be back.

Alan S.

Yelp
This place is a joke. People are trying to catch airplanes and they wander around and it's slow. 25 minutes so far waiting for our breakfast since we ordered. Right here.

Deb S.

Yelp
The service is confusing. They gave me a menu and told me to use the QR code to order. I did that. Then a server came over to take my order. My food came, no silverware and no coffee. It's like nobody knows what's going on. Oh, my server left and didn't get it right. This is the airport people are pressed for time. Pay attention to us.

Lauren I.

Yelp
We had our lunch to go . The guacamole was great and so was my chicken bowl I got Amazing flavor and definitely huge and filling! We liked the queso as well

Saunta A.

Yelp
This restaurant is located in the A gate area. The food came quicker than my drink (Bloody Mary) so if you're in a rush this is still an okay spot to go to. The servers kept checking in on me and had a great work flow. However, I wish there was a Chipotle in the airport because the Mexican food here is so unbelievably bland. I left full but the food definitely could've been better. It's also expensive for what you get but I guess that's just airport food for you.

Tina S.

Yelp
Sat at the bar & had excellent service by Matt! Thank you!!! Had the traditional breakfast & the eggs were cooked perfectly!

Todd W.

Yelp
Just wanted to grab a quick bite before my connecting flight. No employees at the host stand, but I scanned the QR code that promised to put you on the wait list. Got an error message. Waited for a person who eventually seated me, was given another QR code to order. Ordered a few items, the website returned another error saying to order from a person. Attempting to flag down a person also failed. Gave up and left hungry, without enough time left to try a restaurant that can actually sell food.

Natalie K.

Yelp
We powered through an extra-insane voyage from Tucson to Phoenix for our flight back to Austin! We now wait for our delayed plane with drinks in hand! What's not to like? BTW, get the mahi taco plate with corn tortillas! Nice and light! It's a great airport pit stop!

Kris H.

Yelp
Most bland Mexican food I have ever had in my life. I thought since I was in Arizona the flavors would be more authentic, especially for the price of $20 for the smallest tacos you have ever seen. If you are from an area with decent Mexican food I would stay away. The tacos are tiny and everything had little flavor. The only reason this place doesn't get 1 star is because the staff provided great service and the margarita was good. The food came out super quick. Which would be a bonus if the food was any good. I think they should spend a little longer trying to put some flavor in the food instead of just cranking out meals as quickly as possible. This is the epitome of "white people" Mexican food.

Jason B.

Yelp
Blanco is appropriately named. Mexican-ish food with little spice and only slightly more flavor. Somehow, the pork tacos managed to be both dry and greasy at the same time and the salsa approached something that could have been quite good until you realized that there was no appreciable spice (basically, it was marinara with cilantro in place of parsley). The rice, also white, picked up a southwest flair with the addition of...corn and cilantro...and no spices. I have to imagine that a few tequilas would make all of this slightly better, but as I was having a coke, I was sober enough to realize I had been had. The customer service, though, to their credit was very friendly.

Elaine R.

Yelp
Had a really great time at Blanco's. Tacos were delicious and the drink was excellent. The ambiance was very upbeat and fun. The service was great. I have no complaints with this establishment and will definitely be back again. I give this location a 9/10

Jaquay R.

Yelp
Taco Tuesday, Happy Hour, or Cinco de Mayo either one can be spent at Blanco Tacos + Tequila. Vibing atmosphere with good foods, and drinks. Service was good to say when I went on a busy evening. The waitress was on top of taking our order, checking on me and my sister, and did so with a smile on her face.

Leah S.

Yelp
I ordered a cheese crisp and side of beans. What I got is whatever the kitchen decided to substitute for what I actually ordered... a cold rubbery quesadilla with a side of cold undercooked beans. Choose to eat elsewhere at A gates.

Connie G.

Yelp
Service is great. Food is not! This pathetic salad @$16 is horrible. I bet there was not 3 oz of chicken on this. More purple cabbage than anything. Do not waste your time or money here!

Kassandra P.

Yelp
Service sucked as usual. It seemed every time i I come Here its always something !!!!! bartender gave me my wine right away but didn't come back for 20 min had to yell for him twice just for my food and water they want you to tip but don't give good service it's crazy

Tim S.

Yelp
Dined at Phoenix airport - the ambiance was relaxed. The staff exhibited friendliness, professionalism, and a willingness to address inquiries. The Carne Asada Burrito surpassed expectations - a delightful surprise with its remarkable flavor profile and well-proportioned composition. Authenticity shone through, particularly with the fresh guacamole complementing the spicy sauce. Fulfilled and prepared to resume travel. A minor hiccup occurred when my wife mistakenly ordered a bowl instead of a burrito. Swiftly and adeptly, our server rectified the error. For those in the vicinity, I recommend taking a moment to unwind and indulge in the gratifying experience of quality Mexican cuisine.

Ali K.

Yelp
Busy and with a line often. They have a QR code on the desk that you can scan for your order although they did confuse our order items which is surprising since it's digital. Average predictable but reliable airport food. Friendly service.

Brittany B.

Yelp
Let's be honest, airport restaurants tend to have a pretty bad rep. With the underpaid workers, lack of repeat clientele and limited resources, I understand why! When I arrived, this spot was PACKED, and initially the service was AWFUL. I must've caught someone at the wrong time because as a party of 1, I was screamed and and chastised for ASKING...not walking towards, not asserting myself but ASKING if bar service was first come, first serve. Convincing myself I may as well wait it out for the food, I joined the line, and after about 2 minutes I was at the original bar seat I inquired about... If the story ended there, this would be a cautionary tale, but luckily from here, everything turned around! The app for ordering was malfunctioning but our bartender kept a cool head. She was apologetic, sincere and accommodating in the weeds. She was quick to suggest refills, check on order status and keep positive energy in the air! So, 1 star for every delicious taco I inhaled, and a bonus star for this bartender, who embodied positivity and entirely changed my perception of this restaurant! B in real life but an A- for airport stops.

Ryan G.

Yelp
Disorganized, slow, and sub par food. 35 mins to get a burrito bowl. In an airport, restaurant speed is everything.

Coco J.

Yelp
We came here for drinks after getting terrible burgers next door. The drinks were refreshing but airport prices - $12 drafts... staff was super friendly (5 stars) and accommodating. We got three beers and a wine. The food coming out of the kitchen looked so great we ordered some guac and chips ($15)I really liked the salsa that it came with but I found the guac disappointing overall. It had huge chunks of avocado in it that hadn't been smashed and made it impossible to scoop with the chips that would break. I ended up asking for a fork so I could finished eating it. I also didn't think it had much flavor at all, it seemed to be missing salt, Citrus or even flavor really it just seemed very bland. I would definitely try some other food here but I would probably skip the guacamole. At 10 o'clock at night this place was still a little busy. I would've eaten food here. Had I known they were open but the Yelp hours showed that it was closed. The manager said they serve food typically until 1130 every night and the bar closes at 12 midnight.

Elizabeth A W.

Yelp
I am embarrassed for even going to this establishment. Alex and jasmine are a sad excuse of bartender management team. Thank you for ensuring I never go back nor recommended "blanco tacos and tequilas"

Mark W.

Yelp
Food is very good and the plates are not too large Service was slower than I like, not enough waitresses Ambience was nice and had a chill vibe

Norm W.

Yelp
Stopped by this restaurant before catching a flight at Sky Harbor Terminal 4. Pleasantly surprised in terms of food quality, service and price. Had the breakfast bacon burrito. It was a very good choice, served with potatoes. The salsa got my attention, had some good heat.

John M.

Yelp
Extremely limited to ho menu. Ordered a quesadilla, lady asked me "anything else?", I asked if it came with pico or guac or sour cream and got a very snooty "no." Asked to confirm that it comes with exactly none of the things you'd expect and got an even snootier confirmation. Have these people ever eaten Mexican food?????
