Blank Street

My wife and I came here on last Sunday craving a strawberry matcha, and it turned into such a heartwarming experience. We tried our best to communicate with the cashier in our limited English, and she was so kind and patient with us. Another employee, YK, treated us like long-lost family. She even changed my plain matcha latte—which I had settled for because of my horrible english—into the strawberry matcha I had really wanted. A male staff member who was tidying up the store was also incredibly kind and helpful, even helping us clean up our table with a big smile. Everyone here made us feel so welcomed. In this unfamiliar place, Manhattan, I felt a sense of warmth and connection that even reminded me of home. Although I couldn’t keep my promise to come back on Tuesday, I’m deeply grateful to YK and the two other wonderful staff members. I’ll carry these memories with me for a long time. If you’re planning to visit Blank Street Coffee, I highly recommend this location — the people here truly make it special.

I really like blank street, but this location has been slightly disappointing. The inside is quite small and there are usually only one or two workers. The drinks are good, but the strength of matcha is weak, so I recommend adding extra for $1.50. But I feel as though the extra strong matcha should be the standard and their standard is completely too milky. Also, they are only open during a very small window of the day and I wish they would extend their hours. They sell out of drinks quickly too.

Best match latte! Fast service! In and out in under 2 minutes but the interaction w the barista who made my drink was the best. Don’t get his name, guy with glasses, THANK YOU! YOU made my day! Nice playlist vibe!

If you’re looking to be different than everyone else here in lower Manhattan, this is the place to go. Exceptional coffee, friendly staff, good vibes.

I always have a great experience at this location! They make the best matcha. Roberto, Yoandi, and Ruhani are the kindest! They were so welcoming and hospitable.

I usually go to my local cafe to grab my coffee but when i was in city I ran into this place cause this place was really crowded and I wanna see what’s the buzz about, tried their strawberry shortcake matcha latte which was recommended by nora i believe,it was really good!! Even tho the cafe was busy Im really impressed with the service ☺️ Would definitely coming back again😇😇

Love love loveeee blank street drinks! I visit this location because it's a few minutes walk from my office and I am just obsessed with the blueberry matcha. It's such a nice balance of both flavors and such a good option for when I don't want coffee. I also just recently tried their chocolate chip cookie and it might be such a simple thing to review but it was so good!

Solid blank street location! Friendly staff, tasty coffee, and almost always an awesome playlist bumping. Like most locations, only a couple of chairs/tables. Conveniently located next to one of the entrances to Fulton subway lines, so a great spot to quickly stop by before heading out for the day.

The matcha coffee was delicious - the line was getting long but it was going speedy so service was great. Very cute place - will try again if I'm around the area. Looks like a big hangout for people around the area

The service was friendly and I really enjoyed this space. The music was all bangers and atmosphere is petite but brightly fresh. The blueberry iced oat milk matcha surprised me. Really a go to drink from this chain. There's no restroom I believe but the vibes are there.

I like this location! When I usually see coffee shops I typically avoid them based on the usual vibes can be a turn off. I really like the setup, it's super cute! I wish I got the baristas names but they were awesome and so funny! This was a pretty good chai and for a very great price I will be back!

Tried this place on my quest to find yummy matcha in NYC. I ordered a hot blueberry matcha latte (one of their seasonal drinks). I love how the drink automatically comes with oat milk, a lot of places charge extra for it. It was a little small for the price ($5.25), but it was a perfect boost of caffeine. I really liked the matcha, it tasted super high grade and wasn't watered down at all. The foam was perfect too and the blueberry wasn't too sweet (or overpowering). Definitely recommend and will be back! Friendly/quick service too!

How does this get bad reviews? Great quality Great prices Great workers So, I am confused! It has a few seats, nothing crazy special but good, affordable Match and breakfast burritos. (Just don't trip when you walk in)

Lattes were excellent! The pistachio one in particular was sweet & creamy. Definitely coming back to try other drinks at other chains. Great place to just catch up with a friend but not ideal for studying. Ambiance was nice because of the plants and I love plants. Service is fast & friendly.

My go-to spot for a quick, everyday coffee. Always friendly staff and fairly priced drinks. I personally like sweet coffee, so I love their iced strawberries and cream latte (it's soo good). Would not recommend their iced matcha lattes, they tasted a little too pale for my liking. Pros: -good price -indoor seating -dog friendly (free dog treats!) Cons: -close around 3-4pm (depending on location)

This location has the worst track record for being late to open, having the coffee machine broken, forgetting half your order, seeing people queueing outside yet still continuing their conversations inside. Not happy blank street. You have

Service was fine hence the 2 stars - cookie was ready for pickup quickly. But it was $3.50 for a disappointing 3" diameter small cookie...I had to stop myself from asking for a refund. A sad value compared to other coffee shops' cookies. Never going to blank again if this is what their price points are like
