Andy’s Pizza Expands to Foggy Bottom — And More Openings | Eater DC

"I tried Blank Street Coffee’s Georgetown shop and found the high‑tech NYC import pouring pistachio lattes, seasonal shaken pumpkin‑spice cold brew, and a concentrated 1.5‑ounce cold brew meant to mimic a silky espresso shot, alongside baked goods and an ambitious plan to expand to many more area stores." - Tierney Plumb

They absolutely made my Tuesday morning! Such an amazing, energetic team — especially Six, who was incredibly kind and sweet. I tried one of their oat milk lattes, and it truly felt like a warm hug in a cup.

5 stars for the matcha! one of the best ones I've had at a coffee shop. the rocky road latte was great as well! the space is tight and had a line out of the door, but it was worth it ☻

I’m a sucker for anything banana bread flavored so the banana bread matcha was definitely the choice for me! It’s a seasonal flavor. The matcha seems to be higher quality. Overall very tastey!!! The lady taking my order was extremely friendly, asked for my name, and then talked to me like a friend! That was pleasant.

Awesome establishment, welcoming service. Oonagh, jalyn, riwa, Angelina were great and assisted my sister and I very sincerely. Great customer service ladies! :)

My go-to spot while I’m at work. All of their matcha flavors are so good, and I also love how they do seasonal flavors! Though busy during most hours of the day, when it isn’t jammed pack, Blank Street functions as a great workspace as well! The staff are always super nice despite the rush of customers and orders are always made with great care. They also don’t charge extra for milk substitutes!!!

First time trying the matcha in this place or business. I was hesitant at first but strawberry shortcake matcha was good. If there’s anything I could recommend is to have more options to lower the sugar level. I chose the lowest one but it still a little bit sweet. The taste of matcha is not being overpowered by the strawberry that’s why I like it. The service was fast, the line was passing their door when we visited but taking orders was fast. It is a small cafe with limited seats inside and outside. Still cute interior though. Looking forward to the next season flavor.

I used to love coming here but my last two visits have been subpar at best. Last weekend, I came to get a cinnamon roll and I mentioned three times to the barista that I had wanted it  to be warmed up. The barista didn’t say anything about it. I had received a rock hard cinnamon roll and proceeded to ask again for it to be warmed which is when I was informed that they no longer have an oven. I was disappointed that this information wasn’t told to me when I asked the ladies to have it warmed up THREE times before I paid. I wouldn’t have got it if I had known. (I ended up warming it up at work so not that big of a deal - just a major inconvenience and something I think they would share with guests.) Today, I walked in and about 4-5 employees looked at me but didn’t speak/greet me. They continued to talk to eachother. One barista was making drinks while the others continued talking amongst themselves as I waited for my order to be taken. A couple minutes pass by and finally a barista comes to take my order. She seemed so upset that she was helping me and it was so odd the way her entire face and mood changed . I won’t be returning to this location which is a shame since it’s right by my job.

I came out of my way this morning to get not one, but TWO daydream matchas for myself. The best matcha drink hands down is found here. It is so nostalgic, and tastes like a a bowl of Cinnamon Toast Crunch cereal. I love this location and the vibe of the staff. New fav spot!!
