The Most Anticipated Restaurant Openings in Austin for Winter 2025 | Eater Austin

"Co-owner Justine Gilcrease told Eater the all-day restaurant will be in the style of a Parisian café, serving breakfast and lunch with dinner hours on Saturdays, plus picnic boxes for diners on the go and a bakery counter. The plan is to offer themed dishes tied to the museum’s seasonal collections and art pieces; project leadership includes Justine Gilcrease and Pierre Pelegrin. Projected opening: Spring 2025." - Erin Russell

Rating is for the food. Avoid the veggie sandwich special. It is the blandest plate of blah, from the bread to the patty to the sweet potato fries. Only the fast food-like tasting sauce on it (bleh) and dill pickle on the side had much flavor. Espresso drinks come from an automated machine as well. #foodregrets

Don't waste your time at this over priced cafe. I used to go there every other week and thoroughly enjoyed it. Something has definitely changed. The cashier is rude, rushes you through your order, and doesn't even get it right. The food has also gone downhill. The tomato avocado grilled cheese no longer has fresh avocado slices, just a tiny bit of avocado spread. And they no longer GRILL your grilled cheese. They got lazy and just put it in a toaster oven. The bread is still soft and soggy, not even toasted. They also stopped serving their French fries and replaced them with "house made" chips that are bland and stale. And again, everything is way over-priced. My co-workers and I will never waste our time there again and you shouldn't either.

Wow, delicious food. Was at the art gallery and wanted some food. Walked in and ordered the BBQ & heirloom caprese. Fantastically delicious! Best BBQ sauce ever! Small misunderstanding with Togo vs dine in but not a big deal. Usually we look at reviews first. Glad I didn't this time.

Web didn't make it clear that on Saturday the kitchen is closed so the menu does not apply. Had we known that, we'd have gone elsewhere. They do have good cookies baked on site and cold sandwiches made the day prior.

I'm a student at the school and decided to treat myself to this expensive menu, but should've gone to the cafeteria instead. Food was bad, served on a paper plate, and the coffee tasted like plastic. Ended up throwing out half of each, still hungry.

Great place to get lunch if you're in the area. Has a lot of healthy items, but the price is a little high. If we didn't have a very cheap cafeteria in my building this is where I'd eat most of the time.

Food is Okay. But the customer service is not so great. People were waiting in line. Chefs were walking right in front of them but didn't even say anything. Took a while for the Cashier lady to come.
