We stopped for lunch and a drink. Great service and the food was good. The Reuben, pinnini sandwich and the spinach salad were all delicious. Friendly and helpful servers took nice care of us. Great stop!

Phil

Google
Great atmosphere, bartender was super nice. A good and proper Irish bar.

Google
This place is great! Sure, it's got dive-esque vibes (I usually think of a proper Irish pub as being an upscale dive), but the service is great, the bar food is decent, and the prices are in-line with what you'd expect from the touristy area of Seattle. But the best part is that this place isn't mobbed by tourists.

Google
Awesome Irish pub spot in downtown Seattle. Definitley the best bar in the area. Service was great, atmosphere was chill and the wings were spicy, but so yummy. If I happen to be in Seattle again, I will be back!

David Perry

Google
Friendly service and the food was amazing. I highly recommend the Leprechaun Balls! We enjoyed our time here and will come back.

Debra Colbert

Google
Such a great little pub. Drinks were made by a very friendly bartender, food was hot and delicious. There are pool tables to enjoy with friends and to make new friends. We will make it a must on our list of places to visit on our next trip

Dan Schaffer

Google
Went there for a couple drinks and to shoot some pool. Around 11 PM on a Monday night. Chill crowd, good Moscow mules and rum and cokes. Only 1 bartender so it was a little slow at times. Pool only $1 per rack. Will definitely go back.

Google
Great place for a fun night out. They have two pool tables, karaoke, two bars, and offer food. It tends to get crowded on weekends. Sometimes they run out of items and don't restock right away, be aware that you might encounter this issue.

Yelp
This bar is a true Irish pub in the middle of downtown that caters to everyone and doesn't discriminate against different walks of life that might get turned away from other corporate bars in the area. That means yes to different ethnic backgrounds and people that don't look like a traditional Irish pub. THIS IS THE ONLY BAR THAT EXCEPTS DIFFERENT RACES WITH NO JUDGEMENTS. so if you don't like diversity and a great time yes you will complain about this bar BECAUSE LOVE AND RESPECT RULES HERE. The music outside is one of the reasons people come they say is that playing here, and they go in most time saying I wish that was playing inside. A lot of people are prejudice of this bar because people of COLOR support this bar and they don't understand it. STOP hating on a true DIVE BAR DOWNTOWN. how does smoking a cigar and different music cause so much hate and envy? Why does sitting for a long time enjoying yourself as a regular turns your opinion of drug dealing SMDH. Thousands of people come here and enjoy themselves, just because you didn't, DONT TRASH A OWNER AND HER BUSINESS. OHH IT COULD BE BECAUSE SHE IS A FEMALE OWNER IN A SO CALLED MANS BUSINESS. GET OUT OF HERE WITH THAT OLD WAY OF THINKING.

Yelp
12 years ago, I would tell folks to give it a change. 5 years ago, I'd say it acceptable, but there's better around Downtown. Today, I would say run away as fast as possible. Terrible staff. Bar staff is slow and doesn't pay attention to new guest that sit at the bar But worst of all is the black dude that sits on the patio and plays not only his bluetooth speaker as loud as possible, but parks his Benz right outside the bar and blasts his subwoofers. Nothing says Irish Bar like rappers dropping lines about their dicks.

Yelp
A wild place! Went after a show in the Moore Theater. Open late the bar had lots of people and while that did made ordering food a little difficult over the karaoke the vibes were a blast, the food even more so. Me and a friend ordered their Reuben sandwich to split and it was plenty of food and the corned beef was superb!

Nikki S.

Yelp
Horrible service. Bartender switched the brand of rum with an inferior product and then ignored us. We will never be back.
google avatar

Johnny G.

Yelp
The Guinness is always poured perfectly and fresh. The Reuben is very delicious and keeps me coming back over and over when I'm down by Pikes. We sit at the bar almost every time so service is generally solid. During their busy times, this little pub gets busy so be patient because a good Guinness takes time to pour correctly. This is a typical Irish pub/sports bar with a dive bar type of vibe. Go in...have a Guinness. They won't bite unless you ask them too.
google avatar

Bloo P.

Yelp
The food was very decent but the service was nonexistent. The bathrooms, don't get me started. (The review from the "owner" is a bot, check the owner)
google avatar

Jason H.

Yelp
Hidden gem in downtown. The Reuben and fries was delicious. The perfect meal to push us from breakfast to dinner. The Blarney stone is a dive. Expect a dive bar. Nothing glamorous except the staff and the product. Service was great. Waters stayed full - as did the adult beverages. The food was prepared quickly and was delicious. This is on my list if I ever return to Seattle.

David B.

Yelp
A favorite Seahawks pub. Not to busy but nice pub and pool hall. Reuben is always good too!
google avatar

Christopher L.

Yelp
I love this pub! Stopped by again to grab a little lunch for Saint Patrick's day and opted in for the corned beef, cabbage and mashed potatoes. The corned beef was cooked to perfection and very flavorful! The mashed potatoes and cabbage paired well as always and were seasoned perfectly. Of course had to have a Guinness with it and it made the meal perfect. As always, love the atmosphere here and the food is great! The staff are friendly and I will be back!

Eduardo P.

Yelp
Walked in and at first everything was good. Things turned south really fast, was ignored by the wait staff. Was over charged on my final bill as well. I would not recommend going here when there's nearby bars and pubs with much better service. Food wasn't available at 9PM. Ambiance wanted to be a dive bar but they couldn't fully commit.

Yelp
Irish sports bar. The review writes itself. Despite its fantastic location kitty-corner from Pike Place Market, I'd never before stepped foot inside, as there was always something shinier, touristy-ier, that grabbed my attention. This time, my wife and I were soon to be leaving town, headed back home to Portland, but decided we weren't *quite* ready to depart yet, and stopped in for a quick drink, and to relax for a few, before the two-and-a-half hour drive. There was a Seahawks game on. So much for relaxing! Even said, we had a fun time amidst the yelling, the cheering, and the absolute chaos when Seattle began to crawl back from a 14-0 deficit to tie it up and force the game into OT. They would go on to lose the game, but by that time, we'd already fled the roost. I can imagine things went bananas when they lost! I had a single shot of whiskey (Jameson, neat), which appeared before me virtually instantaneously, after ordering "whatever the most popular shot in the house" was. My wife settled on a Washington Apple shot, and we kept our heads down and observed the madness, finished our drinks, and got the hell out before things went sideways...and I mean all of that in the best way possible! Obviously a dive for locals and sports enthusiasts, the Blarney Stone seems like a fun place to party on a weekend night, and I already can tell that we'll be back, the next time we're in Seattle, and hopefully for more than just a single drink. That said, I won't be kissing the bar, or anything else in it, other than my wife!

Yelp
We were there last weekend for a fun trip and ended up meeting an amazing regular named Ben, and two dope male bartenders, who made great drinks (kamikaze king) and were super cool! Thank you to the manager for taking the time to explain his tattoo and take a picture with me. It's those little things that make a big experience! We will be back!

Tom T.

Yelp
Haha, imagine if tattoo face didn't get so frustrated every time somebody asked for something other than a beer, you can see the smoke coming out from his over inked ears. That dude definitely starts a fight every night, of course that's what happens when you still move your lips when you read your comic books. Always wonder what happened to those guys that dropped out in the 8th grade. Keep shining you crazy diamond.

Yelp
Enjoyed our stop over at the Blarney, good service and decent food. The fish and chips weren't over the top great, had what looked like a panko crust versus the traditional beer battered. Drinks were solid and it's got an Irish feel to it. I'm sure it's a fun place to be on many a night. If I went back, would definitely try one of their other dishes, couple people sitting close to us had some really good looking food. Reasonably priced and a nice wait staff!

Yelp
Man I LOVED this place! We sat at the bar, honestly because the booth situation looked uncomfortable, seat-wise. But this corned beef and cabbage was soo freaking good!! And just what I had been craving! It was delicious, I will look forward to going back for it. The bartender and staff were super nice and cool. Fish and chips were a hit. My brother got the Reuben and that was delicious too. Only thing negative was my diet restricted friend couldn't get much but fries because the black bean burger was out of stock unfortunately. Other than that I personally loved this place and would consider it a must go

Yelp
The location of this Irish pub is very close to the Pike Place Fish Market, where they hurl giant fish at each other. This pub is a little run down, but the atmosphere was friendly. Upon drinking for a few minutes, I instantly noticed this was a pure drinking pub. You don't go here to watch sports or pick up a mate, but to drink. We saw lots of regulars here, that the bartenders talked to like old friends. Quite a few people seemed to know each other as well. That was very comforting to me. This pub has some pool tables and two bars with different taps set up. They do have Guinness which I think is mandatory for any legitimate Irish pub. The bartenders here are truly friendly and service was fast. We bought three beers here: Georgetown's Brewing's Manny's Pale Ale, Guinness, and Elysian's Super Fuzz blood orange pale ale. The standout is the Manny's, it has just enough hops to make it interesting and refreshing. We paid a total of $21 for our three pints, $7.50 for Guinness Draught, and $6.75 each for the other two. If you find yourself visiting the Pike's Place Market in Seattle, and a thirst hits you, I highly recommend this pub. It's like everyone knows your name!

Yelp
Seattle can be magical and this is it. Dark, old and rundown pool bar, it is populated by a diverse and hip crowd giving Cheers a run. If you miss home and are downtown Seattle, go get a shitty drink at this shitty bar and feel immediately better.
google avatar

John M.

Yelp
They charged $50 for a $15 bill. on 2/14/2024. The bill for 2 drinks was $15. I signed that plus a 20% tip. But bank says they charged $50 when we looked at the account. We contacted them but they said they put a $50 'hold'. Why? Why on God's earth does a dive bar need to put a $50 hold for 2 drinks? We would never have agreed to that and were not told ahead of time. I would have walked right out without purchasing anything had they been at least a little bit honest. !The bank does not show a 'hold' simply shows a charge of $50. We called the bank and they confirmed its a charge for $50. One strange thing was the dude I spoke with the following day already knew about it without even having to give details and just blurted "is this about the $50 charge??" He seemed scared. I smell a scam. Somebody was hoping we wouldn't notice the charge. These folks are scammers!! Don't go there!!

Yelp
The busy side of things!!! Really awesome bar with about 75 people! Not Covid-19 friendly, so I kept my mask on. The security guard didn't maintain order, just checked IDs... lol. The bartenders were banging out drink orders like the old school cruise ship teams!!! The drinks were on point! Kudos to them!! Stop in for one or two...you won't regret it!!!

Yelp
If you walk a few blocks from Pike Place Market, you can find Blarney Stone, a very American style Irish Pub. They have Guinness on tap and play sports on TV. I stopped in for a drink one Saturday while visiting downtown. There wasn't a crowd and I was served pretty quickly. While I wasn't blown away by the menu or environment, it did the job. It's a great place to stop in if you're leaving the Market but want to get a drink.
google avatar

John M.

Yelp
Nice spot bit far from the Pikes a market where you can stand outside behind the rail with you beer and watch the spectacle and characters pass by. They poor a good pints and the selection includes Guinness of course. Otherwise plain and unassuming. Seems to be a nice cross section of locals and tourists making for a friendly time.
google avatar

Natasha R.

Yelp
I am a big fan of this bar. Even though it is right in the Pike Market area, it has a nice local dive-bar feeling to it. The staff has always been friendly, the environment is fun, and they have fun karaoke nights. Their food is surprisingly fantastic (I loved the stuffed mushrooms).
google avatar

Sophiya B.

Yelp
A little intimidating on the outside, but so are all dive bars. Great bartenders, amazing drinks & a wonderful finish to the end of the night. Live music & pools tables !

Alex M.

Yelp
Came here with a friend solely to drink and have a good time but ended up being the responsible one and ordering some food to help sober my friend up and tbh I really didn't know what to expect because I didn't do any research or read any reviews on the place before hand and the best way to put it is I was blown away by how good the food was 110% recommend food was absolutely phenomenal

Yelp
Such a great find! We actually were looking to checkout Kells Irish Pub, unfortunately they are closed on Tuesdays sooo... we stumbled upon Blarney's. The luck of the Irish was with us!! The bartender was not only super sweet, friendly, and attentive, but also super fun. It was quiet, well lit, comfortable, clean, and attentive service. The drinks were great. The food was incredibly delicious. We had Shepherds pie (cottage pie), Irish stew, and the Reuben. All three selections were spot-on and worth every penny. We bought t-shirts that we rocked at the space needle proudly. I love the inappropriate t-shirts too!!! of course those were the ones we rocked! Overall, felt really lucky to have the stars align and discovered this little gem. I should mention they have pool tables if you're down for that thing. Go See Drink Enjoy Buy the shirt

Yelp
Whoever was working behind the bar last Sunday around 5 or 6 pm was an absolute cunt. If I had to guess, she was either a rough mid-30s or in her early 40s. My partner and I had just gotten off the Ferris wheel and this pub was the first bar we came across. I basically asked the bartender what the best bang for my buck was (I'm a young grad student, sorry) and this "comedian" decided to entertain her audience of old men and said some shit like "I don't know...wells? Bud light? Water?" in the most passive aggressive way possible. I ended up ordering something off the menu, but she continued finding things to be a bitch about. My partner and I promptly left as she started making them. I'm not one to leave an establishment, but we were on vacation and I could not be in that environment. And that's too bad because we're great tippers. It's a cool enough looking bar, but get better bartenders.
google avatar

Ashley F.

Yelp
Stumbled upon this place when I noticed the happy hour sign out front!! I ordered stuffed mushrooms (note*** only comes with 3 *rolls eyes) they're delicious!!! So definitely worth it!!! I was persuaded not to order a well drink as well whiskey options aren't that good, according to the bartender.... all in all I'd probably return for the mushrooms!!!
google avatar

Anjali K.

Yelp
Came here twice - more of an upbeat and crowded vibe on Saturday with karaoke but laid back and chill on Sunday. Cheap drinks, pool tables, fast service!
google avatar

Lil Nikki D.

Yelp
Very fun. I enjoyed the bartenders, and the drinks were strong. Met some cool people, it was a vibe. Go if you want to chit chat up some randoms!

Yelp
Excellent dive bar with colorful characters, above average food, a smoking patio, friendly staff and pool tables. Live music sometimes too.

Yelp
One star because I need to do that in order to leave a review... Was in there less than five minutes and was greeted with a nasty, offputting demeanor from the female bartender. Initially went in wanting to charge my battery and before taking a liberty to plug-in , I tried to get the attention of the female bartender to ask her permission. Totally ignored.I definitely didn't feel welcomed and she went out of her way to let me know that. When I am greeted with a rude wait staff, I'll check the temperature and ask them how they're doing.... well this bartender decided to buck up and ask me what was going on with me and that I was being aggressive. I immediately grabbed my things and left because anyone trying to use triggering language such as "aggressive" already tells me what type of hype she's on. I called the establishment and told her she was acting like a B a my plans was to patronize our place with friends but that would no longer be the case.
google avatar

Danielle B.

Yelp
Hole in the wall with great service & delicious food! The Ruben Roll-up and Mac & Cheese was too good and well priced. Perfectly fried Ruben egg roll with thousand island dip. Mac & Cheese with garlicky, so cheesy sauce covered in crispy pancetta.
google avatar

Shaka S.

Yelp
Would have never guessed this place had food. No one was eating. Seems more like a dive bar for regulars. We stumbled in here on our way to Yemple Billards bc they had a pool table. Pool table size was very small but we knocked out a few games and beers without being hassled. Regulars were kind and bartender kept himself busy and attentive.
google avatar

Lisa S.

Yelp
This place is cool as $hit. You can bring your dog. Every single bartender is friendly and not in a pretentious way. They'll change sports channels if requested. Many TVs so everyone can watch. Great HH specials. Easygoing crowd too. I like it here.
google avatar

Ana M.

Yelp
We've gone to this place on events and they are awesome. SantaCon and St. Patrick's are iconic in this part of the town. Blarney Stone gets very, very crowded. Getting a table can be quite a challenge and more if you have to go to the bar and get drinks! Fortunately we have been lucky and had everything fast. More when people are dancinf. I love this part when there are music groups. Some of them have not been great musicians but their attitude made us enjoy! The atmosphere is friendly and cheerful :) There are only 2 restrooms there but if needed, you can keep walking to the back back.
google avatar

Christopher N.

Yelp
I'm not going to say a damn thing about the food here cause, frankly, I didn't know they served any. I'm just here for a beer, and whiskey when I'm killing time in the area. That usually means hitting up the dives up, and down 1st. Not that this place is a true dive. You have to be able to smoke inside to make it a true dive. Although, there were two old dudes smoking on the patio area up front, which I respect. They're old, and probably have seen some shit, so they're grandfathered in in my book. They have a good mix of irish/local beers, and spirits. They even had a Jameson (Cooper's Croze) that I've never seen, so I had to have it on GP. Its better than regular, caskmate, and black. Just letting my real drinkers know whats really good! There's a small bar to the right, and bar height tables to the left. There's a small stage, or dance floor to the side. The place is clean, cozy, and comfortable. The service has always been good as well. Hey, there's nothing crazy to say about this place. Its a bar to stop in to escape your significant other or family while they mill around the tourist traps on first. I can't walk around Pike Market one more time while my mom, and grandma gaggle over every flower, or organic tea leaf booth. In fact, my parents have visited so often that my dad is joining me for said drinks. Who would have thought Seattle would have brought a distant father, and son together? Is this getting too after school special all of a sudden? Go have a drink people, salute!
google avatar

Yelp
I really liked this place. Seemed strange it was Not very busy on a Saturday at 12pm this close to the market. Staff was very friendly and helpful. We ate outside and people watched. I would recommend the buffalo chicken sandwich. It comes with a garlic aioli on it which is very good. So good that I would also recommend getting a side ($.25) of it for your fries as they don't have mayo- lol. My wife really liked her Monty Cristo. (I wouldn't know, I dislike the mix of favors). Sandwiches come with fries-which I don't says on the menu- and are crispy.
google avatar

Diana M.

Yelp
Entitled white waitress who thinks she's 25-not the nicest woman I've met. Asked for a cup of ice to which she responds, "for what?" Needless to say, did not get a cup of ice.

Yelp
Walked in and sat down for a few minutes waiting to order food and drinks. We gave up thinking we probably just have to order at the bar. Ordered our drinks and sat back down to see a group of 5 guys walking in to sit beside my party of 3. Before they were seated, the bartender ran over to take their order. Shortly after, the other two tables were visited by a server. Bar clears out and I asked my boyfriend to order my food with the bartender since the tables beside us just had food brought out. Ordered our food and waited almost 20 mins before someone brought my one entree out towards the bar trying to figure out who ordered it. We flagged them down to let them know it was mine. Then I decided to take advantage of their check in offer for free appetizer because, why not? Bartender had no clue there was a check in offer. Showed her manager who also didn't look like he knew what it was. Then she came back and honored it. At the same time we ordered the appetizer, we ordered another Guinness. No Guinness to be found after almost another 20 minutes. Asked three different bartenders for it. Not even sure if we were double charged. Not impressed with service here at all. Will not be coming back. Would not recommend.

Yelp
This place definitely isn't a traditional Irish pub. They have your regular beers from Bud Light to Manny's Pale Ale. When I went here, I decided on Magner's Cider on tap...yes, this is an Irish cider. I was starving when I came here so I had to get food. I was pleasantly surprised with their food here especially since it is so cheap! Everything is pretty much under $10. We got some chips, stuffed mushrooms, and a grilled cheese with pesto & tomatoes. Everything was really good. I believe the chips are made in-house and they literally taste like thin, light potato chips. The stuffed mushrooms were excellent. I like their addition of balsamic and arugula with the stuffed mushrooms. As for the grilled cheese, it was cooked perfectly. I would definitely come back here for the food alone. Maybe for St. Patrick's Day...

Daniel P.

Yelp
I been here more than a few times. It's usually my go to after a M's game or if I'm just in the area for late night drinks. Everyone is super friendly and I've gotten to know the Manager and crew a bit, to the point where they recognize me by face now. They have pool and some nights do karaoke. I also enjoy the outside patio area for fresh air and just to chill outside when need be.
google avatar

Mayra M.

Yelp
came here after a late flight and left feeling happy. Good ambiance. Thursday night. Closes late. Recommend for a chill night.
google avatar

Nohemy C.

Yelp
Escape the crowd at Pike Place Market and have a drink at this pub! Great service, sporting events on the television & a great Irish Pub traditional menu for reasonable prices! 14 beers on tap and full bar to meet your adult beverage needs! I came here after riding the $15 Ferris Wheel at the Waterfront for a Cider to calm my nerves. Oh, and On Wednesdays, they have karaoke!
google avatar

Katy G.

Yelp
One of the best meals I've ever had the pleasure of ingesting and enjoying. Savory sausage with melt-in-your-mouth potatoes combine to create the bangers and mash. Best I've ever had. Lemon cider beer with basil is thirst-quenching and more than refreshing. Friendly service and the pub vibe make The Blarney Stone one of the best pubs in Seattle! Back again after a year and a half and still a fun place to be!
google avatar

Alexa C.

Yelp
This bar is not safe for women or the lqbtq community. I was at the Blarney Stone last night for a going away party. An older man came up behind me and grabbed my ass, I immediately jumped around and defended myself. The same gentleman pushed another person in our party and called him a "faggot". He shoved another man in the party as well and also kept screaming "faggot" at people in the bar area. He was a "regular" so people were reluctant to take action. There was no security on duty (on a Saturday night). Eventually a bartender had to come around the bar and kick him out. I had a similar experience at this bar a few weeks ago with a different man. Men here get blackout drunk and feel like they can do whatever they want to women without repercussions. This place would be a lot safer if the owners invested $100 for a security guard at night.

Clayton J.

Yelp
This place doesn't look like much from the street and quite honestly, it looks like a whole lot less on the inside. We came here based on a promotion and location and I have to say, this place is a Diamond In the Rough. The service was a little weak, as our service was a bit lightheaded, but she was polite and friendly. The drinks were also overpriced, but the entree were priced reasonably, portions generous and flavor fierce. Bottom line: Food A Service C Prices C Not my neighborhood and I hare paying for parking, but under the right circumstances, I would return and I would recommend it based on the food, but don't by the alcohol, it's WAY OVERPRICED!

Yelp
Stepped in for a quick drink with my dad, brother and his girlfriend. It wasn't necessarily super busy at the time but everyone was crowded at the bar and was hard to get someone's attention to get our drinks. I'm super patient and usually not one to complain about it but the bartender kept looking right at us and as any of us would start to say something he'd walk off... felt a little weird but we still waited until we got our drinks. I felt my drink (vodka tonic) was poured well and had no complaints. Pretty simple drink. Everyone else got long island iced teas, their usual, and said they'd never come back here to get those again, especially for the price. Favorite part of this bar was the outside seating area (WE NEEDED IT BECAUSE IT SMELLED SO BAD INSIDE). They allow smoking though people were moaning about it, not the bars fault (for the moaners) but it's not necessarily a crowd I'd wanna hang around. Overall I'm still not too upset about stopping in here or anything but we did leave after those first drinks to find somewhere else. I wouldn't make a point to come back.

Kaitlin B.

Yelp
The 2 stars are for fast service and an unpretentious environment. Otherwise I didn't really enjoy this place. It's not that nice inside and for the area you can find much better
