"Originally built in 1806 as a working windmill, the Twr y Felin Hotel features contemporary artwork and is decorated in an understated, modern style. Its restaurant, named after the Welsh word for 'taste’, offers appealing menus which showcase seasonal Pembrokeshire produce from John Dory to lamb in pared-back, modern dishes. The friendly team run the place with pride, enhancing the overall experience." - Michelin Inspector

Spent a couple mornings getting breakfast here, everything was delicious! Well-cooked with a few vegetarian options. Great filter coffee available as well. The restaurant has plenty of seating while still maintaining a cozy atmosphere, and the staff are warm and friendly! There is also plenty of parking outside for Blas customers.

Blas is an absolute gem in Donegal Town 🌿 — a place where warm hospitality meets exceptional food. The setting is cosy yet stylish, with a lovely balance of modern touches and rustic charm that makes you want to linger. The staff are genuinely welcoming and attentive. You can tell they care about both the food and the people they serve. On my visit, I had the breaded chicken fillet burger 🍔 — perfectly crispy on the outside, juicy and tender chicken fillet , served in a fresh bun with vibrant, well-seasoned chips and side salad. For dessert, I went for the marbled red velvet brownie 🍫🍰, which was rich, indulgent, and beautifully presented — the kind of sweet treat you remember long after the last bite. The relaxed atmosphere make Blas a must-visit. Whether you’re stopping in for breakfast, lunch, or just coffee and cake ☕, you’ll leave feeling well-fed and well-looked-after. Highly recommended for locals and visitors alike 🌟. I would recommend to pre book the slot for lunch or breakfast even on the weekdays as they are absolutely favorites for the locals. It also has ample of parking and is wheelchair accessible as well

We came in as a group of seven for breakfast, even though we weren’t hotel guests, and the staff warmly welcomed us and quickly found us a lovely table. Our waitress was incredibly attentive. Not only did she take our orders efficiently, but she also remembered that I had asked for soya milk in my drink and thoughtfully checked if I’d like my porridge made the same way (which I had completely forgotten to mention). The food was outstanding, and everyone at the table left happy. Most of the portions (especially the porridge, Greek yoghurt, and pancakes) were very generous, while the avocado crush and pan boxty were more standard in size. I highly recommend the matcha latte and the porridge with fresh berries and honey, both were delicious! 🫶🏻🫶🏻

Kind staff. Food doesn’t seem that fresh 🥹 ; soup & fish were not really good ; smoothie was not home made neither. We didnt stay for the desserts so 😬🫣! But nice location and welcoming staff

We had such a lovely breakfast here today! Donna was so welcoming and even gave us some recommendations for breakfast. The Blas platter is a great idea if you want to try out 2 dishes but aren’t sure which to get and can even have a mixture of savoury and sweet. 🥞🍳

Lovely spot for breakfast. We stayed at the Gateway Lodge and had a fantastic set menu for great value at Blas. Yogurt, tea/coffee, juice, and a large selection of hot breakfasts to choose from.. The French toast really is fantastic!! Great service and so many wonderful Christmas decorations when we went.

Cute spot for brunch with nice menu options. Note that it only opens at 10am to the public. My friends couldn’t decide what to get so got the half savoury half sweet option which was a good compromise. There was a slight problem with my omelette, but when I notified the staff they fully nulled the cost of it. I will say I didn’t feel like we got the warmest welcome, but again once I mentioned the issue with my meal they were very apologetic which I appreciated.

Yelp
What a great spot, just around the corner from the historic Donegal castle. When I'm in Ireland I always get the full Irish for breakfast, and I think this is one of the best I've had. Everyone was super friendly. If I'm ever back in Donegal, I'll be sure to visit Blas again.

Yelp
I was not impressed with the hotel associated with the Blas, but the restaurant itself was quite good for breakfast. They offered a full Irish breakfast, generous coffee refills, and gluten free options. The service is great with a swarm of young people who work together to provide a great customer experience

Yelp
Fantastic breakfast, lots of choices, including a full Irish breakfast and very cheap! Only €8, if not already included with your stay in the hotel.
