Seriously, this place is so busy, but they need to get it together. The minute we walked in, I sensed dysfunctionality! It was funny though to be honest. I first asked for an arugula salad. Maybe it was my bad for not knowing to order that with the cashier? But the salad was right in front of us in the service table behind the glass. Logically speaking, we should be able to order the salad as it is already displayed, which is the same concept on how we order and build our pizzas while walking through looking at the toppings. What made me chuckle was the person in the beginning asking what pizza we wanted to order rolled her eyes at me, and asked if I wanted to order a pizza too. Wtf... Hahaha. So sorry!
Anyhow, first mistake was the gal rolling her eyes at me. Definitely a no-no to any customers! Second mistake was the second gal mixing the white pesto sauce with my spicy red sauce, when I asked for half white half red... A ying-yang. Lol. Oh well, at least she gave me another dough. Third mistake was the fella preparing the pizza with toppings requested, he did a good job though, sprinkled too much sea salt on one side of the pizza and basically nothing on the other side. Hahaha. So I basically bit into my extremely salty and crunchy pizza. Wtf!
I don't know what else to say about this place, but I saw unhappy some workers. However, some employees like the cashier and the person putting pizzas in the oven was working hard though. They rang up orders, helped box pizzas, took care of waiting customers, helped food delivery services, etc. Very efficient. I counted around fifteen workers behind the counter, and only a few seemed to be effective. The others, oh well... Needs training.
Overall, the pizza was good, my salad was fresh, and the brownie was delicious.
Parking really stinks in the parking lot. Traffic jam galore. There's a Starbucks. a Chipotle, a bank, a gym, and a couple other businesses in the plaza. But at least nobody honks!
Next time I'll probably end up going elsewhere if I was in that part of Culver City to avoid problems.
