Google
Good pizza and great customer service. First time can be a bit overwhelming but the staff was great at making us feel comfortable. It's a cool experience watching everything be made in front of you. 3 pizzas, cheese bread, and 3 "large" (22 oz) drinks and we paid just under $52. We brought food home and enjoyed our eat in experience.

Google
So they added more employees. However customer service was horrible they burnt mine and others pizza in an oven they hadn't cleaned. Remade the pizza and still burnt it.

Google
First time here and we enjoyed it. Good pizza with plenty of variety. Gluten free option for my wife and my son and I enjoyed the veggies and meat lovers on the crispy thin crust. We'll be back.

Since management doesn’t want to talk to me after I’ve requested it, I’ll leave my honest review. I had been craving pizza for awhile and finally decided to treat myself. So this last Monday (12/02/24) I ordered a pizza from Blaze pizza. It took awhile for them to make but eventually it was on the way. When I got it, it was cold….like not even a tad warm at all. It was pretty gross and I had to reheat it in the microwave. This is seriously pathetic especially considering how expensive your pizzas are. I’ll order from Pizza Hut next time. It won’t be as good, but it’ll be hot.

Google
Have been a regular customer of Blaze on Tulsa Hills too but recently they have increased the price so now I visit them rarely. Still their pizzas are good and you can select the toppings and even if u ask for more cheese or sauce, they are ready. Sometimes the crust gets black so could avoid that. Ordered through the app and it was not a pleasant experience. The app crashed after placing the order and it still has not come up in the recent orders. The only way I got to know that the order was placed was by receiving an email from Blaze. The wait time was around 20 minutes after reaching there and the goat cheese was frozen on the pizza. It didn't melt at all. Otherwise, it was ok. I took the pic after 1 bite so that is why the gap lol.

Google
I always build my own pie. I always am pleased how evenly the toppings go on. If it's busy, the line can back up, but I think that's just the nature of their service model. My whole family loves the pesto and arugula finishers on the end. If they mess up, they remake the pie on them. On my last visit, the customer in front of me didn't even notice they had remade her pie (correctly!) and had it in the oven. This location dining room is always clean, and the outdoor patio is nice if it's not too hot.

Google
Undercooked and barely edible. Instructions given for order on website not followed. If you want a pizza from this place, you better order it in person and HOVER to make sure it meets minimum quality standards. And how hard is it to cut a pizza into six equal.pieces?

🍕🍕🍕Quick made to order pizza in a subway styled fashion of pick your own toppings. Varieties of crust with the standard being a delicious thin oven blazed crunch 🍕🍕🍕

Yelp
The crust is the attraction here, and the sauce a close second. The subtle smokiness in the outer crust edges complimented the ingredients perfectly. My mistake was ordering it delivered via Grub Hub, which meant an hour from order to delivery. Slightly above room temperature but i was hungry and tired so didn't care. Still, the taste won out and I will visit in person next time.

Yelp
It's Pi day! You can buy a pizza for $3.14 per person, but you must be present to claim it. We had to wait in a long line for an hour and a half, but it was worth it. Good pizza made exactly the way I want it. The crew did a great job staying organized and keeping the line moving along. I loved the sound of all the happy people and the music. They have several crusts, Original, Gluten Free, Keto and Cauliflower. They have several sauce and cheese options, including a vegan sauce and vegan cheese. They have all kinds of toppings, including a Soy Chorizo. They have salads, a meatball dish, cheesy bread, pesto garlic cheese bread, cookies, S'mores, and brownies. I just wish they hadn't closed the store at 36th & Peoria. Then I would visit more often.

Yelp
I'm giving it 3 starts bc of the girls the did nothing wrong but it was.A big fella that just did not like what he was doing took the pizza out too early so nothing was cooked pizza was dry by the time I got it the cut was not good I had a whole pizza together had a attitude towards me and my companions. I will not be returning to this blaze pizza

Yelp
I recently ordered a custom-made pizza, and unfortunately, my experience was quite disappointing. When I received my pizza, the bottom was burnt, which made it inedible. Upon entering the restaurant, I was surprised that the staff just stared at me instead of offering assistance. It felt unwelcoming and unprofessional. When I sought help, the manager briefly directed me to an area but then just walked away without addressing my concerns. Overall, the combination of poor food quality and lackluster customer service left me frustrated. I hope they can improve in these areas in the future.

Yelp
Wait, wait, wait, wait that's pretty much all I did when I went to this pizza place. It's a play on subway with fire. If you're looking for an exciting evening to spend an hour in line at this is your place. It actually worked out pretty well, I went on a date and before we even ordered food I figured out that I didn't like her so we left and I didn't even have to pay for a meal. 5/10 would recommend because I didn't have to drop $12 on a pizza!

Summer G.

Yelp
The restaurant didn't appear to be slammed but the employees were obviously stressed and overwhelmed. They were out of two ingredients I asked for (black olives and pineapple) so I got Kalamata olives and green peppers instead. When my wife ordered hers they put ONE CRUMBLED ARTICHOKE on hers. I asked them for more than that bc that is ridiculous. The customer in front of us couldn't redeem her points bc the point scanner thingy wouldn't work. Don't get me wrong, the employees were super polite and trying. But it was chaos. Our food was excellent- the happiest guy was the one cooking the pizzas. (Probably bc he didn't have to deal with everyone running around like flustered hens in a hen house). The patio area was peaceful and a great place to eat. Inside was stressful. The bathrooms were super clean. Straws and lids weren't stocked in beverage station. Wifey Tip- during the whole month of October you get a two topping pizza (11") and a drink OR dessert for $10. Best deal ever! You get to pick your sauce and cheese!

Erica G.

Yelp
Ordered 2 cheese pizzas and they were almost inedible. I've never had a cheese pizza that bad. It was also very dirty inside with flies buzzing everywhere. There was seating outside as well, but several of the tables were covered in trash.

Ashlyn K.

Yelp
Ordered a Simple Pie. There was more sauce than there was cheese Asked for a little more cheese and she told me I would be charged for a 1 topping pizza instead of a simple pie if I wanted more cheese. She was extremely rude and then the pizza is burnt and black on the bottom. Couldn't even eat the pizza because it was so burnt.

A P.

Yelp
All around terrible. No greeting, dreadful attitude, refusal to give any customer service at all. She ended up yelling calm down after we asked for someone else to make the pizza. I'm sure you can find a way to be verbally abused without paying for it. Go elsewhere

Alondra A.

Yelp
Would put ZERO if allowed. When I raised a concern about my order, Ducky responded curtly and didn't offer any solutions or apologies. This lack of professionalism made me feel undervalued as a customer. Moreover, the overall atmosphere was tense, likely stemming from the apparent lack of support Ducky provided to the staff. Will not be eating here again. Someone should seriously look into how the staff is treated by the managers in this location.

Landen R.

Yelp
childish workers on September 28, Saturday night. closed doors 30 minutes early before I had even arrived, also as I arrived they all ran and hid in the back acting like no one was there. I drove all the way there expeciting just one pizza but no all I see is a bunch of lazy losers not working something needs to be done about this.

Precious G.

Yelp
The only reason I'm giving this more than 1 star is because the pizza IS AMAZING. The service is a 0! They are sooo rude and picky about who they are polite to. The older lady with black hair was the worst. They were talking over people's food to a man that came in that they haven't seen in awhile. They both were loud and not acknowledging the people in front of them. To top it all off the lady putting our pizza in the boxes just tossed the sauce I asked for in front of me. How rude all around. If you don't want to be nice then get out of a job that requires customer service. And I got home and had no spinach on my pizza which I asked for over 3 times .

Derrick G.

Yelp
This was a great Blaze Pizza location with great service and pizza. The staff was very helpful and friendly. I highly recommend this Blaze location.

Drew H.

Yelp
Wouldn't recommend it. The store missed out on a 2 pizza order over cherry tomatoes. The manager wouldn't even give me extra tomatoes when I only got 4 things and no cheese and everyone else is getting 15 toppings. Lame.

Tom C.

Yelp
Great place! Recently stopped our team bus for dinner after day at a Robotics Tournament. 30+ hungry highschoolers and mentors poured out and into Blaze. We had given them a heads up that we would be stopping by but thought we would be there an hour earlier. Our arrival got delayed because of tournament issues. But they spotted us on arrival and with a small staff they shifted into overdrive and did not disappoint! They quickly made dozens of custom pies and baked them to perfection. There are so many options so the meat eaters and the vegetarians were all satisfied. Great place for a family or friend group for great tasting pies....and a reasonable price too.

Sarah M.

Yelp
Service was extremely slow for a slow day. We were not prioritized even though the dough for our pizza was available. Our order had been taken. There was no one in line and then 5 min after order was taken other people came in line and their order was then taken. And then the employee took an online order to start putting together, all the while watching our dough sit there.

Jaime B.

Yelp
Not a huge fan. I went knowing what to expect and told the workers that I hadn't been there before. The first guy was helpful but when I got to the end of the line, the two girls weren't very helpful. I had to ask for ranch a few times. Couldn't find straws. Waited a while for our food and watched a long line form. I got the gluten free pizza, and it seemed pretty fresh. Very thin. Not bad, not great. I did love the fresh mozzarella! Busy busy location. Corner spot. Dysfunctional entrances and exits. Plus is the price and ingredients.

Yelp
I have been going to blaze pizza for years. It has been my absolute favorite place to go. I like it because you can build your own just the way you like it, or so I thought. I went to this blaze pizza sometime in July 2023. Ever since then I have not been back and it's killing me but the anxiety I have when I think of going back is what is stopping me from going. Let me explain my last experience. I had to drive 30 minutes to get to this blaze because It's the only blaze pizza we have here in town and I moved here from California where they were everywhere. I will drive far if it means getting the food I love that doesn't bother me. Also the wait was 20 min in line (before ordering) that doesn't really bother me because I love the pizza so much I don't mind waiting. Next finally I was up and was able to order...I always get 2 because I love the pizza and since the drive is kinda far I want to make it worth it. I don't get cheese (that's a topping) because I can't eat it. I get the sauce and then peperoni, sausage, onions, and green peppers (that's 4 toppings total) which they were very stingy on but that's okay because what I really like on it is the tomatoes. That's the 5th topping I get and I asked her to put on extra tomatoes and she was stingy. I asked for more and she said I'll put one more on because there is a limit on how many toppings you can put. I said it says build your own not build your own but only a certain amount of toppings. So I did not want the pizzas. So not only did they waste the money and had to throw out 2 perfectly good pizzas but they did it because they didn't want to put extra tomatoes on a pizza that only had 4 other toppings. It was the supervisor that was rude and her name is Venus bustamonte. Yes I am only one person but I work in an industry where one person matters. Everyone who is a customer matters and when the policy is "build your own pizza" you should be allowed to build it however you want with whatever and however many toppings that are provided. One customer turns into two then three turns into five and then eventually it becomes enough customers who stop coming to one restaurant because of not only service, but the quality of the food and price and so on. And then that business closed down because they went out of business. Word travels and I have made sure to tell everyone not to go there and before I couldn't stop raving about blaze pizza to everyone. I doubt this will even do anything or will just be overlooked either way the focus of blaze should be it's customers and giving them what they want or if that's not the case then to not have a "build your own" because it's false advertising. Please if this does get anywhere email me arielchristine7@gmail.com and show me that you truly care about customers. I tried leaving this complaint on the "contact us" thing they post on here when we have a bad experience however the length of the complaint can't be more than 1200 characters and they even say "the more details the better" so I wanted to post this here hopefully someone does contact me because it's months later and I'm this upset to still write this review. They limited my complaint like they limited the amount of tomatoes I could have. **update** As you can see from their generic response they obviously didn't read my review because they gave me the same link that I already went to and still haven't received any message or response. They really don't care about making the customer happy and this place will be out of business soon enough

Courtney E.

Yelp
I wish they had built this closer to my neck of the woods, but it's a good stop for dinner when we're in the area. Blaze is basically the Subway of pizza, meaning you can customize your pizza as you go down the line. You can add as many ingredients as you like, all for one price. Choose your crust (regular, thick, or gluten free), your sauce, cheese, meat, & veggies and it's whisked away to a super hot oven to bake to pizza perfection. When your pizza is ready they'll call your name, and you can pick it up at the counter. This is the point where you can ask for ranch or any sauce you want as a dip (yeah it's Oklahoma, we dip pizza in ranch. Why is that weird to some people?). Each pizza is a good size to split between two people, or each order your own and take half home for later. They have to-go boxes near the drink station if you need one. If you need something to go with your pizza, they also have salads and desserts available. Several seating options available, with outdoor seating when the weather is nice. My pro tip: sign up for their email list online. They will send you coupons and coupon offers that you can redeem through their app. The best one so far was a buy one, get one free pizza coupon - heck yeah!

Yelp
I had never been to blaze pizza; I have been missing out!!!!! I got a cheese pizza for my kids and I had them make another pizza with all kinds of toppings on it. I can honestly say I have never had pizza this good before. The establishment was very clean and I can't say enough good things about the staff!! They were so friendly and incredibly helpful. I will 100% be returning for more delicious food!!

Chandra P.

Yelp
My order was unbelievably good, I had been putting this restaurant off for quite some time only because I assumed it would be like any other chain pizza spot. I was 100% wrong from start to finish Blaze is unlike any pizza establishment I've been too. The entire process of building your customizable pizza, the fresh ingredients, and fast-fire'd baking process creates one of the most fresh tasting pizzas I've ever had. The customer service, and overall atmosphere was very pleasant. Today was my first visit to Blaze, and it will definitively not be the last!

Jill G.

Yelp
I would give this little pizza joint five stars for its quick casual experience. It offered lots of fresh ingredients for the build your own $8 option, bit extra for GF crust. I loved their original red sauce with mozzarella ball sliced option. Throw on a little red onion maybe garlic, fresh basil- it was a winner! Totally spring for the two dollar fresh lemonade options. I loved the the blood orange lemon with the original lemonade mix. The prickly pear was tasty also but both of my kids complained of it scratching their throat on the way down. It kinda did. Ha. One thing I learned is you can get the pesto sauce on the rim and red sauce inside for a tasty crust!!

Irena T.

Yelp
Build your own pizza with UNLIMITED toppings for under $9?!?! Crazy. Or if you're indecisive and want all the toppings picked out for you, you can choose a signature pizza (and even add more topppings, if you want). I had the Green Stripe pizza with the "high rise" crust - would definitely recommend the high rise if you want a more traditional crust/not thin crust. Only bummer about this place was when I went, it was SO INCREDIBLY LOUD, even yelling at the person making your pizza (to add/change ingredients) wasn't enough to get their attention.

Gary M.

Yelp
Great pizza. Hands down. What a good way to open up by providing free pizza! Unlimited toppings, no additional charge, that's if you don't want to roll with one of their own signatures. The only thing they charge extra for, is if you want to get the high rise crust, the opposite of the thin crust it already comes with. I had the Build Your Own pizza with: pepperoni, salami, red pepper, Italian sausage, basil & spinach with a mix of spicy red & pesto sauce. The pizza only takes a couple of minutes to bake for the simple fact of the brick oven. They also have finishers, sauces to add on top of the pizza once it's out of the oven. Also, their pizzas are cheap, $8.25. Multiple lemonades to choose from. A good look for Tulsa Hills - The Walk.

Alan V.

Yelp
First time at Blaze pizza and I want to say the workers are extremely nice & informative. It was my first time here and Layla and Kaylie were phenomenal. They answered my questions and were thorough and knowledgeable about the pizza!!

Yadira M.

Yelp
Always good!!! love the fact they keep the quality of their ingredients. And as an option on vegetarian I am a fan of theirs.

Kristi H.

Yelp
4 star rating? Just because they had me so confused and it was my first visit. We decide to take some pizzas home and decide to try Blaze. I was hangry again. Lol. Anyway, I walk in, and am met by a nice employee, and I mentioned up front that I had never been there. I said one pizza would be the chicken pizza, and being they didn't have a supreme, I created one, but I didn't get to see the toppings, she was busy writing what I wanted. Then I did a build your own. So I was told to stand in a certain area, and then they pressed the crusts and asked what sauce. I assumed it was the supreme one ordered as I requested it first. They were actually making the build your own, and I wanted a different sauce on it. I explained that and I had to tell them to switch sheets. It's like if you didn't go with their flow, they had no clue what to do. After it was all said and done, however, pizza awesomeness emerged from the oven. Each pizza was amply cheesy, and you were given options of finishing sauces. The pizzas made the 10 mile trip home, and they were still hot and fresh, and tasty. After all of the wait, my hangry patootie forgot to take photos of the finished pizzas in the box. I guess that means I'll just have to go back, soon, and get another.

Tess M.

Yelp
Yummmm I was very impressed with this place. Lots of topping choices for "Build Your own Pizza" and they staff was very friendly! They have a killer patio. Only complaint was the music was really loud so I coudn't hear the person I was with very good.

Mike P.

Yelp
I'm more of a NYC pizza guy. This is ok but just not the same crust, cheese and sauce.

Tim H.

Yelp
I love blaze but this location is notorious for messing up orders and as of late deciding not to make your pizza after ordering. I made an online order and waited for the email for confirmation before heading to pick it up. Got the confirmation email and when I made it there they were inside making pizza but had a sign on the door stating they were understaffed. I then check my email again and as I was standing there I got an email stating they canceled my order but would refund my money in 1-3 days.

Andrea B.

Yelp
Worst food service people I have ever encountered. Disgusting, awful, rude. Don't ever ever go here!!!

Bert H.

Yelp
I would rate this restaurant at 10 stars if I could. My wife and I have been eating here for a while now and I have to admit they are the best. Not only their food but the service crews have good knowledge of the best food for us. We truly appreciate and we like this place I love Lebron also

Phuoc C.

Yelp
Pizza is not my favorite food, but this place I like very well, not too much butter, so I can choose my favorite. I really love lemonade here.

Zachary W.

Yelp
I find it highly unlikely that the method of pizza making has changed significantly since it's invention so it's somewhat confusing as to why fast casual, make your own pizza establishments, haven't existed in the past. So it's a bit shocking that there has been a sudden influx of this establishments. Just as vape shops replaced the froyo places, perhaps pizza will place vapes. The concept here is like every other fast casual restaurant. Get in line, place and order and follow it down the line to the cashier. Here they offer their own signature combos, but your are free to basically make your own, with essentially unlimited ingredients for the same price. The decor is a bit fancier than other similar businesses and the ingredients are better (in fact the best) of the 3 fast casual pizza joints we have in the Tulsa. No complaints on taste and my initial worry about crust texture and flavor were alleviated. What I received was a nice cripsy pizza. This is by far the best of these restaurants and I would go again hands down. The knock down to four stars is based just simply on staff service. It seems like when ordering a pizza and despite instructions being written down, everything gets lost in an absurd game of telephone. My wife had to repeatedly remind the staff what she ordered to at least two different staff members that had a sort of a deer in the headlights look when trying to follow the order. The lady operating the cash register seemed to be having a problem deciding what to charge us, despite both pizzas costing the same price. Hopefully because this is place is relatively new the hiccups will be worked out the next time I visit. This place also isn't big enough to handle a large crowd. I believe we arrived just around 6:00 p.m. and not counting the hiccups described above, the experience from making pizza to getting to eat pizza was fast. However by the time we were leaving 30 minutes later, there was a line wrapped around the inside of the now overly crowded restaurant. I saw someone walk in right when were sitting down to eat finally being able to place an order by the time we were leaving. So I guess the lesson is that if you go, which you should because again the quality is fantastic for the price ($8.25 a pie), just get there early to beat the hungry masses.

Holly P.

Yelp
Love the vegan cheese option at Blaze! It opens up a whole new world of possibilities for vegans and people who are lactose intolerant. They also use a green vegan cutter and tongs. If you have anyone with Celiac in your family, they are also very mindful about changing gloves and using sauce that is covered. My favorite combo? Traditional sauce, vegan cheese, mushrooms, and pineapple. Trust me on this one! Don't forget to top it off with oregano, sea salt, and an olive oil drizzle finish. The blood orange lemonade is also a treat!

Trevor H.

Yelp
Big fan. The pizza is better than i thought it would be. Loves: BBQ chicken pizza; White pizza (add chicken); Kids getting to customize their own; Blood orange lemonade; Friendly staff! You can order online & skip line... but where's the fun in not adding to your own pizza & watching the process.Line moves faster than you would expect. Though I haven't yet gotten to indulge, some good beer choices (including craft & local breweries). One big con: the App appears terrible. Oh well, a welcome addition to Tulsa Hills!

Andrew F.

Yelp
Very good pizza. Of the many build your own pizza restaurants around town this by far is the top. Very fast and friendly within 10 minutes of ordering, your eating your pizza. And ingredients are fresh what more could you ask for. Well... I will tell you, the blood orange lemonade, is the best and will keep me coming back for sure. So nice to have a place like this in town awesome!!!

Melvin O.

Yelp
I've heard good things about this place and had been waiting to try it for a while now. Came up here with my precious baby. Definitely a good spot to come for freshly made to order pizza. They have many options to choose how you want your pie including a prepared menu of their Signature Pizzas. No matter how you want your pie prepared it only comes in one size. I don't know the inches but comes out to be six slices which could be appropriate for sharing if paired with one of their tasty salads. You can select the toppings you want which is really cool. Several types of cheese, white sauce or red sauce, meatballs, sausage to lots of veggies for my veggie lovers out there! The dough is made fresh and you can certainly taste the difference between them and the local competition. The staff was great and patient with explaining the menu. Fountain drinks with free refills!

Alesia C.

Yelp
First time here. Better than anticipated. Mgr enticed me to write review to get a coupon for a free pizza. but really it is very good pizza. i like building my own. lots of choices to choose from. Yum Yum!

Lorena M.

Yelp
Pizza is delicious, it's not the first time I've had it. But this time the employees had a bad attitude, and it was all without a mask and nothing cover their hair. I know the mask law is over, but please they talk over the ingredients that will be used in my pizza and the hair on top of the ingredients.

Deborah W.

Yelp
Rude employees. Ignore customers. Slow. My pizza was burnt and horrible. Employees were all in the back talking

Rjohns T.

Yelp
Friendly staff, well explained options, clean atmosphere. We will definitely come back. Even though it was 12:30 PM we went through the line easily and we're served fairly quickly. Excellent pizza...Good Job Tulsa!

Jason H.

Yelp
Amazed that they have such high ratings and such a great online presence, but COMPLETELY baffled at the ability to contact a real person. Am visiting and SO disappointed. I realize Covid has affected us all, but I have yet had to jump through so many hoops to only realize, you aren't even open.

Alison E.

Yelp
Great for lunch! Quick & easy. Our favorite is the White Top with extra garlic & chicken.

Linda E.

Yelp
I have eaten here twice and absolutely love it. The cauliflower pizza crust is the best and I will be eating there when I'm ready for pizza.

Letty K.

Yelp
The tomato sauce was too thick and sweet for my taste. The service was great. The place needed a wipe down, food residue on tables from previous patrons. Loved their drink selection. Their salads looked fresh and crisp. Won't be back, just cause of the tomatoes sauce ‍.

Rocco O.

Yelp
The lady who was working the pizza cutting station was absolutely awful she was rude disrespectful and didn't care about her job, she had been asked for other stuff by other employees and she ignored them until they walked away.

Emily B.

Yelp
Blaze in Tulsa Hills is awesome. The staff is quick, friendly, and super genuine. The gluten free pizza and vegan cheese are FAR better than most allergy friendly pizzas. I would highly recommend this Blaze.
