Bleachers Sports Grill

Been going here for at least six/seven years. Recently went in with some friends, who were apparently too weird/gay or whatever and was asked to leave and told we make other patrons uncomfortable. Nice way to treat disabled veterans and their families!

Waited for over 30 minutes for an order of nachos. Plate was hot but food was cold. Waitress was non attentive. Not overly busy so that’s not a valid reason. Could never get anyone’s attention to bring it up as it was happening.

Valerie is an amazing bartender and server. I would come back just for her. She is sweet, kind, and takes care of me.

My experience was good, not great. We went on wing day, and it was quite busy. So i can understand why the service wasn’t spectacular. I will say the wings were very good for the money, and are what will bring me back again. The water was terrible, however. I know people don’t go to bars for water, haha... but it was truly distasteful. The Bleachers Lager was pretty good as well. All in all i will go back for the wings since this location is close to my house.

It was fun there. Missed the karaoke day 🎤 unfortunately 😔 but it was good vibes. The bar manager/owner was there and she was kind, nice, and was there if I had any questions. My server she was on point with my group for drinks, and sweet attitude. They adhered to covid precautions. Pool tables are closed still. The food was yummy 😋, especially them wings!!!! 🤗😋😋 would definitely visit back there again.

Its a good sports bar for the area. The drinks are pretty good. Been visiting here for over 3 years now, and always happy. Theres definitely repeat customers that knows all the staff by name,so its nice to see that it does good business. I love the apps, chicken wings, and my go-to is now their chicken cobb salad. My kids always want the buffalo chicken sandwich with tater tots, and its pretty awesome.

Great place I’m not one to go to bars but everyone here is friendly and pretty much are regulars the people are great the drinks are good and the food is pretty good too not to mention they have tons of different sports games on at once too.

It's a great place in a great location. Every time I've gone here to check out a game or any type of sports it's always been easy starting general conversation with any random person have a great time. It's definitely a place that I would return to!

Sat down at one of the cool booths in the bar area. Didn't get service for at least 10 minutes, places is maybe 30% full. She was rude right away, obviously didn't want to be there. We ordered 2 tall Coors Lights. They were room temp and completely flat, and from experience, I could taste and tell they hadn't cleaned their draft lines in some time. After looking around we noticed everyone else had bottled beer. We let her know there was something wrong with these beers and just asked for 2 bottles instead. She didn't believe us that was obvious. Being she rarely stopped at our table we tried to order a couple apps, while ordering she rolled her eyes and said "geez hold on". She left and never came back, so we left. Used to like this place a lot. Never coming back. Look at my other reviews, I'm not a snob, but that was one of the worst experiences I've ever had.

I'm usually easy and offer grace but, here we go. Beautiful spring day for patio lunch. No hostess, about 1/4 of the inside is seated with customers. Bartender busy, no servers, we step at the patio and poor server dealing with two obnoxious dudes as she's trying to walk away multiple times. Finally she's able to walk away and addresses us. We asked if it's open seating, she says "yes, what do you need?? It's only me" Poor chick was serving the whole restaurant and clearly overwhelmed - total fight or flight mode. "What do you wanna order?" How about a menu? That was wild. No manager on the floor to help. We were cornered into ordering a drink, the vibe was off and wanted to leave, couldn't cancel our drink order as the server was off handling her many tables. Someone please help her. What a shame with such a cute patio view. Where's Gordon Ramsay or John Taffer?

We go here monthly for a euchre card meetup with friends. The service is hit or miss. I ordered the chicken tenders this time with tator tots and asked for the tator tots to be cooked crispy as sometimes they're under cooked. When it came out it seemed the chicken tenders were cooked crispy instead of the tots and was really dry.

My family and I decided to try Bleachers for take out tonight. My husband ordered a burger medium I had a Cobb salad. Service was great very friendly order as taken well. Got there couldn't find anyone to help get my order literally had to chase down the only waitress apparently working. That's about where it ended for us. Everything was ok at this point. Got home my husband went to eat his burger and it was legit cold and raw! My salad had rotten lettuce in it and just looked overall blah. My daughter wings were cooked but to the point they were almost cremated like crunchy nasty. I was able to get the charges reversed so I was happy about that but I can say we will not be returning to try it again....

The bartenders there are all friendly and welcoming. Chill spot. Fun place to watch sports and bet on horses. Sierra from Wyoming is my favorite bartender.

Do not be fooled by their exterior! Bleachers is a large sports bar with so many cool events happening each day of the week . The service has been great each time we go and the food !!! Wow ! Their menu is large ! We have made it our mission to try everything on there because everything sounds so delicious, our favorite so far is the queso dip(add the ground beef!!) and the Tex mex wrap! This is now our regular spot ! Would definitely recommend stopping in on a Wednesday from 6:30-8:30 they have category bingo ! You can win great prizes while having a great time

Bartender Kylie is amazing! Food was great. I usually sit in booth , but Timory nor Layla were working. Overall, staff is spectacular. Female Manager , not so great:( My two cents!

My favorite sports bar in Ahwatukee area. There are so many options on the menu where you can be craving anything and find something to eat. Out of all the restaurants I've been to lately, the prices are very reasonable and lower than most. The servers are always great and friendly here. The burgers are a solid choice, but my favorite meal is the Cheddar Crusted Chicken. The dish comes with potatoes and a choice of veggies. The corn and green beans are always delicious. Atmosphere is good to watch games- not a lot of big TV's in the dining area, however, there are a handful of TV's in the bar. They have a lot of weekly deals and happy hours so I recommend checking that out before you go. Exterior makes this look like such a small place, but it is pretty good size and comfortable when you get inside.

I adore this place, I'm here pretty regularly and have always had amazing experiences & drinks. Their pool tables are quality if you enjoy a competitive game and the regulars know their way around the table.

I've swung by Bleachers for a beer or two for a fews years now. They have some solid folks in the kitchen and the bartenders and servers have always been super welcoming. There's not too many places that are able create a fun, inclusive atmosphere, but they sure do a fantastic job here.

My 3rd time here and love it. Great patio with a view. I'm a big wing guy and their wings are big, awesome, and priced right. Service is also amazing. My only critique is the quest dip with beef added. The dip was really good but hardly any beef (extra). It was a very small portion for the price. Overall, I highly recommend!

Bartender was awful. Tried coming here twice to give them a second chance and her service was the worst. First time didn't want to take our business. I'm wondering if it is because I'm mixed, didn't feel right. I will never be coming back here ever again. Blonde, short haired girl, very judgmental and terrible service overall.

Bleachers in Ahwatukee Don't pay in cash. They'll pocket it and tell you "you're drunk, you didn't pay" and charge your friend for the entire bill you just paid in cash on her credit card...then, they will demean, condescend, gaslight you and call you names and "broke" for wanting to get your money back. The "manager" has never called us back and the only people who have "researched" this for us is the bartender herself and her friend. 12 days, no call back, and now being threatened by the bartender. If anything, it was a good lesson to never pay cash at a bar AND to take a picture of the credit card slip with the tip before you hand it over ;)

The service here is spectacular. The staff is attentive, friendly and always smiling. A great thing about this group is that they know how to handle situations, whether it's a good or bad situation. Feel so comfortable at Bleachers that it has become a must to stop and visit. Thank you Jamie and Lili!

Ordered a $15 "grilled New York steak sandwich on a kaizer roll" which turned out to be an overcooked piece of meat on a very dry hamburger bun. Not at all what was described and was truly a terrible sandwich. Subbed regular fries for sweet potato fries and they had poor flavor and were overcooked as well. Definitely don't recommend.

This place is FIRE!!! We came CRAVING french fries, and even though we arrived around 20 minutes before the kitchen closed, they still made us our food happily! We did end up having to wait a long time to get the food but that's only because the kitchen was out of fries. But instead of turning us away, they cut a whole new batch for us and they were delicious!!!! The garlic aioli was also super good. WE WILL BE BACK! The playlist is also FIRE!!!!!

I've been going to this bar fairly regularly for about a year now, especially because it's close to home, the food is great, and the service decent. However, there are a few female bartenders that have been fairly rude, and not just once. On this occasion, I lost a beautiful bracelet there on 2/11, (Saturday night), and when I realized it was gone upon returning home, I called the bar to notify them to please be on the lookout for it. I knew Bleachers was closed and the two people on staff were in process of doing their closing tasks, but I had to call five times before someone finally answered, letting the phone ring at least ten times on each call before it was disconnected. I also know they have caller ID, so they knew who was calling. I received a persnickety response from the woman that finally answered, telling me that they were closed. Right. I knew that, and would only have called for a decent reason, which in this case was to alert them of my loss. Other than the two persons on staff, nobody else has been rude or disrespectful, but there have been times where me and a girlfriend have experienced this attitude from both parties. Neither of us has been rude to either of them! And they should remember that reputations and decency go much further than rude treatment! Additionally, I called twice about 2:45pm yesterday and it was Groundhog Day all over again. But, nobody picked up and no VM.

Tucked back in the corner, is easy to miss, with no big signage. Really nice environment, lots of TVs, great service and food. Drinks reasonable too. We shared salad, burger, fruits, and wings. All very good. Seems like lots of regulars and a very friendly environment.

Overall the food is amazing, looking for some great bar food that is a place to be. Get yourself a nice cold beer while you're there. The queso dip with ground beef is to die for.

The service is very friendly. But the food isn't very good. I had wings that were tasty but I asked for grilled and they weren't grilled. I had a Pretzel that was very dense and barely warm. The Brat was ok.

So first and foremost they need to let people know that on Monday ndays it's bingo night and you can't load songs in the jukebox because the online bingo contract requires strip joint music to be played. Kudos to the bartender for being apologetic but apart from that she was generally inattentive on what appeared to be a slow night. The food was way above average though. So just don't come on bingo night.

Tried to go there yesterday 2/18 have lunch places some bets on the horses their hours are posted online 10:00 am we get there 10:50 not open. The hours posted on the door says 11:00am (do us a favor update your website) So we decided to wait 11:10 the bar girl opens the door to say "oh it's going to be another 20 minutes or so" all nasty not even in a nice way. There was four other people waiting as well. Not a good way to run a business. Whoever is in charge you should check on things. This is how places go out of business when it's not run properly.

Came in on a Sunday for March madness and lunch. Server was excellent and the food was good. Great Bloody Mary's! Very much sports bar feel which was expected. The strip mall it is in doesn't look the best but don't let that keep you away!

Foods great, bartenders are on point, servers are kind with speedy service. This is an underrated locals bar & grill. They always have the games playing on all their giant TV's, and tables and bar are always clean.

Really good food. Great owners, they stop by and say hello and make you feel welcomed. Off track betting....Wow. Ambiance is great.

This was my very 1st time at this place and the service was outstanding. The vibe was kool and low key. Food was decent (just had appetizers) but the customer service was very attentive and friendly. I'll be going back!

I was in here Friday around 5pm. The bartender was horrible. Slow. Ask for water and menu and took forever. Ordered glass of red wine and it was bad. i had to remind her of the water. I ask bartender how long ago it had been opened. She didn't know. She spent the whole time talking to some guy as we waited to order. Worst bartender I've run across in Arizona. I won't be going back. Wine made me sick so I'm sure it had been sitting for 4 or 5 days. Wine was very warm. If you don't know how to take care of wine you shouldn't have it on the menu!

New owners and they are doing new things. Meats are now bought fresh. We have always enjoyed our meal and drinks but tonight I wanT to talk about bingo. Huge menu selectIon and they are adding more activIties. Tuesday nights they offer trivia night! Wednesday night they have bingo. This is what we came for. They hand out 10 playing cards and a dabbed to everyone who wants to play. There is no entry fee. There are different prizes and for each game and some incentive prizes if done within a certain number of numbers. The last game was blackout and if it was obtained they would win a progressive jackpot. Someone actually won!!! $900. Holy cow!!!

Great food, extremely cliquish place. Not welcoming and cringey in a way. How do you make new regulars if you can't be pleasant during someone's first time in? Never again.

The food is delicious! They have the best burgers and fries on Ahwatukee. The potato skins are also delicious.

I started coming to Bleachers when I moved to Ahwatukee about 4yrs ago. It was a great spot with classic rock and great service. I don't know what happened but mostly play Hip Hop crap now and the service sucks. I posted this on Facebook and guess what, they blocked me! I guess they don't like bad reviews even when accurate. Needless to say I don't go there anymore.

This is my Go To Bar. Everyone there is so friendly, and greets you on a 1st name basis. The food is great, the drinks are strong and the entertainment is always fun! If you've never been to this hidden gem, I highly recommend it. Tell them Curtis sent you!

I found this hole of a jewel thanks to a recommendation. The place was very large and seemingly small at the same time. But once I walked in I was greeted with a warm welcome and a smile from none other than five star bartender Jamie. At first her "hostile" welcoming was a bit offputting. But once I realized she was just a veteran and she knew her shit and she wasn't going to take yours. I was good! We exchanged minimal words and quick glances to make sure I was OK! Honestly though. I believe she was there to serve and you were going to get the best she had to offer no matter what that meant to regardless of what happened and who you are. No superstar at this local restaurant except the fries!! I guess I better talk about the food. What I can say is 1.50 tacos on Tuesdays and five dollar drink specials are my type of place. This hidden cozy restaurant fully equipped with gourmet cuisine and bar foods. This is a great find for our the Ahwatukee community. If nothing else I'll definitely be back for the soup or just a quick hello and snarl from my favorite bartender Jamie. By the way ONLY people that GOOD AT THEIR CRAFT get to look at me like that! lol

I moved here and into the neighborhood and I didn't know anyone or any place to go. I was getting my nails done and Bleachers was next door so i stopped in. Jamie was bartending and immediately greeted me and within minutes made me feel like I was just part of the family.There are so many places around here I should try but why would I? The food is great, the atmosphere is fun, the bartenders are wonderful and Jamie is the absolute best. If you haven't tried it you're missing out! Thanks Bleachers for always knowing how to make a rough day GREAT!

Go back to your original chicken strips. The new ones are a disappointment. I order a to-go order, frys were cold, chicken strips were gross. They changed the chicken, I don't know why. Won't be ordering the nuggets again and scared to go back to see what else they changed. The reason I am giving it two stars is because I showed up early before me food was even done and when it was done by the time I get home it was ice cold. I live 3 miles away from the restaurant. Also the frys were extremely greasy and again can't with the chicken.

I normally enjoy bleachers however today the bartender was an African american woman I have not seen before who had a chip on their shoulder and gave extremely slow service. After staring at a empty glass for way too long I decided to leave to which she gave me attitude. Yes, she gave me attitude because she failed to attend to a customer and the customer decided to leave. I will not let her lack of professionalism distort my opinion of an establishment I otherwise enjoy. Yes I will return as the staff is normally great however if she is behind the bar I will simply leave and visit any of the other fine Ahwatukee watering holes. Please note Bleachers staff are usually very attentive, professional and fun. The food is also always good.

Solid neighborhood bar - heavy pours, nice atmosphere, cool staff. Definitely a place I'll hit up regularly.

I am updating my review on this place from a 5 star to a 1 star. I would give them 0 if I could after my experience tonight. I have been coming here for over 10yrs. We know the owners and we come here 3 times per week minimum and spend well over $50 everytime we come. Tonight we walked in to have dinner and drinks like we always do and we were told by somebody at the door that we couldn't come in unless we buy a $15 ticket for a comedy show, which they have never done. I told her no thank u and walked in. I went and said hi to some of the servers we know and then the same lady walked up behind me and told me that we needed to go if we weren't going to buy a ticket. Keep in mind this lady doesn't even work for Bleachers. At the same time the owner walked up and I told her we would not be back. She asked y and my wife told her that she has never been treated the way she was treated tonight. Yelled at by some comedian lady that sounded like she was drunk that doesn't work for Bleachers telling is to leave. I told the owner we will never be back and we walked out and went to Copper still down the street where we are having a blast. So thank you Bleachers for pushing us to go somewhere else after 10yrs of being a regular. All the times and money we spent, I will never go back. There are way too many bars that are just as good if not better. I will take my business to Copper Still and Cold Beers and Cheeseburgers. I will never go back. Thank you Bleachers for letting me spend mylmey somewhere else. Thanks Bleachers

Lots of TVs to watch whatever game you're looking for. Good food. Good drinks. Reasonable prices. Staff is friendly and fun. Great neighborhood spot!

Great food atmosphere and service! Our waitress was patient, friendly and attentive! Much appreciated.

This is my favorite sports bar! It's kinda hidden, but when you find it, you walk into a magical world of beer, food, and TV's. When we have family or friends come into town, we always bring them here. The food is great, which you don't always get at a sports bar. I always order the Buffalo Chicken Sandwich with house-made chips or wings with either Cajun seasoning or honey bbq sauce. The waitresses are always attentive and polite. During football season, they open early and have a breakfast menu that is also delicious. It has made the Cardinals easier to watch when I'm hammered by kickoff.

Okay so were not regulars that may have been the problem with tonight's service which by the way was very piss poor, we ordered a plate of nachos, not sure what happen to the cup of clam chowder cus it took forever to arrive, not sure what happen to the wings cus ot took forever to arrive! You want us to support your business and then were treated like we don't exist (we sat outside) Well it will be some time before we come back, sorry

I live about a half mile away from here. During the two years I've lived in this close proximity, I never went inside until a couple of weeks ago. I don't know why that is but I guess it has something to do with its very odd location and the fact that there really isn't any other reason for me to be in that plaza. I decided to stop in for Wing night (Thursdays - $0.40 wings) and watch a hockey game and I'm glad I did. It's a very good sports bar with great specials, tons of TVs, a bunch of outdoor seating, pool tables, etc. The happy hour specials are very good (half priced apps and cheap drinks) and the food that I've tried in my two visits has been good. The music can get very loud around the bar but, hey, you're at a bar. If you're familar with the area it reminds me of a better organized Public House Garage or a cleaner CKs.

My new spot to watch the game. They have like a million TVs in there...okay, maybe not a million, but I lost count after 20 so I'm rounding up. Beer. Alcohol. More beer. They have a full bar. The service is friendly too. They even turned the biggest TV to the Lakers game (sacrilege in some Phoenix bars). Thanks Bleachers; you guys rock! Food is what you'd expect: wings, burgers, nachos, etc. The quality seems to be just a step above most sports bars though. We tried the nachos and hot dogs w/ fries. Nachos were good; very filling. The dogs...! Big and flavorful and juicy. And the fries were like they were cut and fried just for us. Skins left on them. Seasoned just right. Very addicting! I'm going back!

I come to Bleachers frequently and the food and service is outstanding. My husband threw a surprise 50th party for me and worked with Jennifer, the manager, on the menu, set up and organization. Jennifer did a fantastic job creating the menu! The food was great! And Kendra, worked the entire party (45 people) and there wasn't an empty glass or dirty plate. We got countless compliments from our guests on the service and food!
