Small castle view amazing views. Amazing views. Castle itself is rather small but the vibe is great. You really get the feeling of medieval times. There's also great view over the island in the middle of the lake. Went there 2 times in one day: first in the morning, just to tour around, no line, very few people. Easy to get around. Second time went for the dinner in the restaurant that is located in the castle. Sunset over the lake and even less visitors. Restaurant offers inside and outside seating depending on the weather. Views are amazing for both options. Everything is clean and cozy. Really recommend!

Three of us — two adults and a 16-year-old — entered for €47.50. Parking costs €3 per hour. The castle is modest, and the museum inside is even more so. But the view of the lake and the surroundings is stunning. All in all, an hour is enough to see everything and still have time to grab a coffee. To get the full experience, it’s worth driving around the lake to see it from the other side. And definitely go for a swim! A very beautiful place!

It’s one of Slovenia’s most iconic landmarks, perched dramatically on a cliff overlooking the emerald waters of Lake Bled. The views from the castle terraces are breathtaking, offering panoramic scenes of the lake, island, and surrounding Alps. The castle itself is well-preserved, with a small museum, printing workshop, and wine cellar that add to the experience. While it can get crowded during peak season and the entrance fee is on the higher side, the combination of history, scenery, and atmosphere makes it well worth a visit. The restaurant in the castle requires a reservation, but you get a free entry to the castle and museum with it. Ideal for both casual tourists and history enthusiasts.

The castle honestly is small. Nothing special to see really. Entrance fee for €18 is too much! Meanwhile, the view from the top here is priceless! It’s extraordinary! This is the only pro about the castle. Since anyone is in Bled, visiting the castle is a must of course! You can save your money and admire the views from the outside of the castle. However, the terrace view from the inside is much better!

The view is amazing from the castle. The entrance fee is a bit expensive, 18 € for an adult, but we spent well 2 hours in the castle exploring it and the museum part and it was really entertaining. I would say it is a must if you come to Bled. 🏞️🏰✨

Bled Castle is stunning, but the real star is the lake — I have no words to describe its beauty. The water is crystal clear, a bit cold, but incredibly refreshing. It’s such a peaceful and relaxing place to visit and enjoy. Truly a must-see!

The view from the top is worth the hike up. There are steps going up from the walkway behind the boathouse (15 min hike). There is a small parking lot or a bus shuttle available too. Coffee bar, wine bar and nice restaurant up at the top. There was an exhibit on the people of the past, including historical artifacts. Nice exhibits tailored to school-age children as well. Bathrooms are available in the castle. Great overall 👌

To be honest, nothing really interesting except the stunning lake view. The castle itself is not appealing, the museum has nothing important or informative, and the panoramic view café is not designed well for such place. There are other things interesting like an aged manual printing service back to Gutenberg where you can print your name and the visit date on an old paper, also a souvenirs shop. Castle entrance fees for 18 euros.
