Never ever again. I thought a location in downtown would be on their A game especially with it being the number one tourist area in the US. I did not get a smoothie. I got green water that tastes like unopened celery and lemon. If it wasn’t so dayum expensive I would throw it away. This is probably the most disgusting thing that I have ever had in Charleston. Please read the reviews. Do not order from here!!!!

Jessy is friendly and talkative he can relate to you easily while also making amazing smoothies he also makes going to blend fun .Blend is my family's go-to smoothie place. the windows do need a good sweeping but it still great. The swings were a great touch ,just maybe don't hang on the.

I've waited a couple of times for this business to be open at the stated time and also beyond. Both times it was not open even 15 minutes after stated hours. It looks like it is someone office space as well as a smoothie spot. The service is odd and I don't need comments about my appearance or small talk while I wait for my smoothie. Makes me very uncomfortable. I had a gift code to use for a smoothie and I placed an order ahead of time. The business was not open at the time I needed to pick up my smoothie to go to work. I will not be supporting this establishment anymore.

Not a good experience the last two times I’ve been in. Not sure what the deal is - this place used to be so good and so well run. Now it takes forever to get a smoothie. And not to mention the inappropriate commentary from the staff. Verbatim the guy asked if I was “hungover…” I was in scrubs on the way to work on a weekday. No im not hungover. Just in a hurry because it’s taking you a year to make a couple smoothies. Won’t be going here again. And the smoothie that I waited 10 minutes and paid $22 for sucked.

Popped by for the first time a few days ago and Jessie was AWESOME. Probably the best customer service I've ever had. He told us about the health benefits of all of the juices/smoothies & let us try lots of samples! We will be back soon!!! (Also very cute/fun store) -Maria & Hannah

I love this place! I have been left absolutely delighted by the incredible blends and unique recipes this locally owned shop has to offer. Every smoothie and juice I've tried has been a taste sensation. Natural, healthy and not full of sugar in the right way. One of the things that truly sets this shop apart is the warm and friendly atmosphere they provide. The owners go above and beyond to make sure every customer feels valued and taken care of. And I will mention Jesse, the charismatic soul behind the counter! Jesse is a one of a kind character who brings a whole new level of entertainment to the smoothie shop. He's not your typical serious guy. He'll shock you, but hilarious. I can't recommend this shop enough to anyone looking for a unique and satisfying smoothie shop with delicious hand made healthy tasty treats. Don't hesitate to visit this place.

Really good juice and açaí bowls, but the portions are small for what you pay for. My bowl and juice were each $14 for a total of like $30 for my ~healthy~ lunch. There's indoor and outdoor seating and the inside is very cute. Staff was nice but it looked like it was just the one girl working. Everything was really good and fresh and tasty, but the açaí bowl was maybe 1/3 of the size of the ones from playa bowls and those are about $11 each. $14 is a lot to pay for maybe 1 cup of açaí and it's a lot to pay for one cup of juice. If the prices were a little lower I would definitely frequent this place but it is a little $$$ for me

As a local business owner myself, I NEVER leave bad reviews for businesses. But this place is run so poorly I just needed to say something. I came in weeks ago, ordered a small smoothie and one protein bite. I was charged $36. When the manager went to make my smoothie, he then told me they were out of protein. I said that I just wanted a refund (because I was honestly shocked at the price.) He said he didn't know how to refund me. So I left with a smoothie I didn't drink and a single protein bite for $38. I called a few days later to get a refund. I was then told that the price was so high because I was charged for an entire bag of protein bites. So I asked for a refund again and was PROMISED the owner would call me because he is the only one who knows how to do refunds. I've since called back twice and never gotten a call from the owner. I was charged for a smoothie I didn't get and a bag of protein bites when I just got one and can't even get a call back or refund. I will never go back here. This is an unacceptable way to treat a customer.

we came here for a bowl and he made it in a smoothie cup and it was very hard to eat. we got two "bowls" with protein added in and it was $35 before tip! it was a cute place, the "bowl" was pretty good, and the worker was friendly but overall will not be going back.

Blend was amazing when it first opened ...The staff, the environment and the juices/smoothies were amazing! My favorite was the green goddess I believe it was called and I would add fresh jalapeño. I believe they changed it to "love your alakaline". And the elixir shots were just as tasty and packed a punch! It's unfortunate it's not what it used to be.

Smoothie was bland, nothing special. They advertise açaí bowls but it's just their smoothies in a bowl. It was pretty pricey. Inside is cool, nice aesthetic but nothing that I would go back for

Blend used to be great but now the prices are ridiculous, there is no care in preparation and the menu is confusing.

Owner was rude, inappropriate, and offensive. He objectified his wife, spoke with homophobic implications, and was uppity about his lifestyle. The smoothies are not worth the uncomfortable nature of the man or the expensive prices. Just go to playa bowls.

Loved the music That was playing outside. It drew me in. The musician was really talented. I had never been here so I decided to give it a try. Confusing for a first timer. It was obvious so the owner or manager took over. Super nice guy. I got some super healthy green juice that I thought tasted good as well. I'm not sure how much juice should cost but thought pretty high but if normal price I think costs should be a little clearer but it was a great experience. I sat and drank it outside while listening to some great music. Between tip inside, outside, and cost of the juice it was high for me but a great experience. Might go back after I figure out a less expensive way to enjoy it.

I stopped by for two smoothies, one green and one coffee and I was set for dinner for the evening! Main course and dessert! Jessie was fantastic, professional and efficient and helped me even though I showed up at closing time on my way to a last minute meeting across the Ravenel bridge. This was the healthiest fast food in town, hands down. I work on the other side of MtP and mentioned I frequent a juice bar near my work. He actually complimented them on their quality and that assures me he is confident and unique in his juice bar. Said if I was back in the area to certainly return. This was truly an awesome first encounter and although across town, there is with certainty a return visit to Blend soon. Jessie caters to the individual and is not your cookie cutter food place. He mentioned too he is the originator of his unique healthy smoothies. Way cool!

Five star for taste Three for price I got the green one upon recommendation of person working there. I asked for fruit and calcium combo, he recommended one with kale spinach apple banana coconut milk and almond milk, honey It was delicious but I don't think worth $9.7 for small smoothie

Absolutely in love with Blend! If you are in Mt. Pleasant please give it a try! Great staff and great selections. My all time favorite is the Green Sweetie with a shot of protein! I'll definitely be back but next time I'm trying the Avocado toast!

Simply the best! I've tried juice & smoothie "bars" in Goose Creek, downtown Charleston, & North Charleston & I always find myself craving a "Blend" juice. Juices & smoothies are equally tasty, healthy & made with quality ingredients. They have an app that allows you to preorder. They couldn't be nicer or more convenient!

This place used to be amazing but seems the staff has all left and the owner is serving the juice himself. He plays ridiculously loud music, takes FOREVER to make your juice and only lets you get a "large" sized drink. He's obnoxious, and rude. I'm bummed bc this used to be my favorite place to go----i would come 2-3 times a week. Now i spend an extra 5 min to drive to the other juice bar.

Gent serving me was obnoxious singing loud music etc. even pushing the tip dish in the foreground ! my smoothie is gross on top Of it There are many other options around . Second time trying it out and definitely the last for that price and annoyance . Regret going there this morning

Terrible place. Blend juice bar lete place an online order for pick up but then it's closed that day and unannounced? Robbed me of $12for one juice...and that was with a $5 coupon for my birthday...

I love Blend juice bar. I've done multiple juice fasts with them which always feels amazing, especially at the beginning of the year. Great way to start a new year. Also their variety of smoothies and shots and juices and other delicious items gives you lots of choices, if you take the time to walk in. I highly recommend them. Plus they give you a little discount if you visit frequently. Jeanne B

Cold pressed juices of every combination and can suit any cause or mood. The shots are worthy 1 ounce gulps for a variety of purposes. My favorite juices are the Green, Red, and Lean Green. The best shot is Nature's Flu Shot packed with the heat of ginger and the punch of garlic, both of which I adore. Want something to bite into as well with your juice or smoothie? My fav is the espresso bites. If I worked at Blend, I think they would have to fire me for eating all the day's profits in my espresso bite glutenie. These things could be addictive! An added bonus of today's visit was picking up gift cards for some holiday giveaways. While I can be a multitasker, I adore when I can get to things accomplished in one trip.

The Green Sweetie was very tasty. The workers are also very friendly. My only suggestions would be to consider bringing the prices down $1-$2 and to evaluate order timing so folks that order after you get their drinks after you as well. I'd return. Ran into a friend who got the Paleo Monkey and it looked great!

Walked in to see him pouring tap water into jugs and selling it as healing miracle water. cant make this stuff up LOL. took 20 minutes to make a smoothie and a single slice of avocado toast. for $22? absolutely not.

This place is a whole vibe. Go for the dance party and stay for the smoothies. Jesse is the man and he makes the best smoothies. I had the fruit ninja and the strawberry blonde.

The girls who work here are sometimes cool. They typically always blend a large and give you a large even if you order a small (which is cool when you're spending $9 for a smoothie, to me is already slightly crazy..or very crazy) and sometimes they blend enough for a large and give you a small and WASTE the rest. Like it's just upsetting. I love that they have so many non peanut butter options. My current favorite is the Mango Glow because I'm not a fan of bananas in smoothies. High quality protein that doesn't leave me bloated and doesn't taste terrible!

Very slow and rude service for an overpriced smoothie. After patiently waiting over 12 min for the attendant to finish his chat with previous customer, and indicating I was then in a hurry, he told me to go. I can assure him I will never be back.

I live right around the corner so I walk over and grab a smoothie sometimes. Other times I've met up with people for a meeting or some co-working as they have a few tables and free wifi. I've always enjoyed my smoothies and they pack quite a bit into them. Their produce is always quality and fresh. My only complaint is the price. Two smoothies after tax and a tip, comes out to just under $23! I fully understand that fruit and vegetables can be pricey plus you've to staff and building expenses. On the other hand, I could go to Whole Foods and buy an entire bag or two of organic produce. Plus, I've never seen another shop charge that much so it just doesn't add up. I still stop in out of convenience and I enjoy the smoothies, but honestly the cost is a bit of a deterrent.

I really do not like posting negative reviews on this or any other site but just had a truly terrible Açaí bowl at Blend and their response to my dissatisfaction was ludicrous. The bowl is advertised on their menu board as Açaí with bananas, strawberries, blueberries and raspberries. What I got was a runny, soupy bowl of açaí with banana slices and a pitiful sprinkling of coconut and granola. When I asked the staff where the fruit that was missing was in this tasteless mess I was told "the fruit is in the blend." Ridiculous. Blend should be embarrassed. This was like a smoothie in a bowl. I will not be back. For the $10 they charge this is ridiculous. Better bowls for the same price can be found all over Charleston.

I recently started coming in after work and I've loved everything I've ordered! The "Blue Diva" is my favorite smoothie so far. The women who work there are friendly and helpful. I enjoy the store's atmosphere and their many choices.

Fresh. Fast. Friendly. Blend Juice Bar is a great place to pickup a quick smoothie or juice in the Mount Pleasant area. I've tried their Hangover Helper, Green Sweetie, and Organic Cold-Pressed Green Juice. Last time I visited about a month ago, the two workers there let me taste test all the different cold-pressed juices they had in stock. I was floored by their hospitality and generosity. I have them 4 stars because their parking situation is tough and the prices are a tad steep. Otherwise, I would highly recommend Blend to anyone who asks! They are a great brand with amazing potential for growth across Charleston!

Came in for some fresh pressed juice. Ordered a build your own juice that I asked to be freshly made. They did juice the apple but added in pre juiced carrot juice and ginger. Kind of pissed me off after I specifically asked for it to be made fresh. The girl behind the counter gave some lame excuse that they just squeezed it but once it is squeezed it starts losing it enzymes. I won't be back here because they do not listen. They also have pre made juices in machines so beware of those if you want something fresh.

Great juice! After running or walking the bridge definitely stop in here. Great for a healthy shot smoothie, or cold pressed juice. I tried the Gold and it was phenomenal. The people working are very friendly too. They have nice little tables so you can sit down and enjoy.

Worst açaí bowl I have ever had in my life! They literally just put liquid slop in a bowl that they call açaí. Then they just top it off with fruit and don't even give you the additional toppings that you paid for.

This place is so hit or miss, and lately it has just been miss. I was in a hurry and ordered a smoothie online. I went in to pick it up and the employees hadn't even started making it. When I finally received my smoothie, it was not worth the ten dollars I Paid....way more chewing involved for something that is supposed to be a drink. When I got to the bottom, there was a lot of banana and raisin that should have been blended in. It was very disappointing.

Ok so I rarely ever leave bad reviews buuuuut this was the worst $15 I've ever spent. This bowl had no flavor, and was super runny. It also was pretty small compared to other açaí bowls I've had in Charleston for a much more affordable price. I'm sure their juices are great, but I wouldn't recommend an açaí bowl from here.

Great spot. Great customer service. Great quality. Price and seating is the only thing keeping me from a 5 star. But then again most customers are come and go, and the pricing is average for this type of establishment. Their açaí bowls are amazing and weigh easily 1.5 lbs!

First I called to place an order and was put on hold and tried calling back 4 times and went straight to voicemail. Then I stooped in to place order myself for a smoothie and was told they were out of almond milk so the only option for a smoothie with coconut oil. Won't be coming back here for a while

I was in the mood for a delicious smoothie yesterday, so I stopped by for the first time yesterday morning. Overall I had a poor experience, here is why.... I got the strawberry blonde smoothie which flavor-wise was okay, but most of the banana were not blended the entire way. I also got a cold brew coffee, for 1 smoothie and 1 coffee I paid $14. The coffee came in a to-go mason jar with a lid, but had I known it was going to be a $7 coffee I would have skipped it. I did not find what I bought to justify the price.

Worlds best avocado toast. That cilantro topping really added a lot of flavor with each bite. The untoasted toasted bread was made to perfection as well. Definitely worth a whole $5

Insanely quick service! This is a great, fast stop for a solid smoothie. The Green Sweetie is especially good because sometimes with kale drinks you taste it way too much, but with this smoothie you can't taste it at all. I didn't know if the raisins would go well in the mix but I actually ended up liking the little chewy pieces - kinda had the same effect as tapioca balls in bubble tea. Would definitely stop here again if I'm in the area.

Love their juice but not so happy with the service. Ordered 8 juices then called to change pick up time. The phones were down all morning abd when I finally reached them they wouldn't let me change the pick up time. Not a huge deal but when I pay that much for juice, I want it to be fresh. I'm a bit disappointed

Staff is always super friendly and helpful- Juice is expensive but this place does it right with the best ingredients and tons of choices!

I recently discovered this health juice bar, and it is tasty! If you are running the cooper river suspension bridge (which is right down the road), I highly recommend you stop by here after your run so you can grab a nutritious smoothie. I normally just go with the basic "green smoothie". They also have a variety of shots, juices, and natural tea/coffee. Many times that I'm in here, they will give me free things to try since their "fresh" drinks need to be replaced several times a day. Sometimes if they make too much for someone, they will give the rest away in lieu of throwing it out. While the drinks are a little pricy, you would be hard pressed to find a comparable smoothie shop that has legitimately fresh, healthy drinks. I definitely recommend stopping by here while you're out and about with friends in the area. Note, the fruit:veggie ratio is perfect. The drinks taste great for being so healthy

I highly recommend the Red Dragon 16 oz. With a side of Jalapeño.
