I'm a foodie and I love all foods. This is very French cuisine. They start you off with something called "Amuse bouche", I can't describe it really. I liked it but it was very different. The starter I had surprised me. It was a beef bone with meat inside and some mushrooms. My main course was a vegetarian risotto, which I prefer meat like chicken but it was still delicious, I didn't realize it came with fries, which I thought was weird for a fancy restaurant, fries seem a little cheap to me. My desert was caramel flan with some ice cream, which was also delicious. My only complaint is I wish they had more gluten free options on their menu. They brought out some bread, again I wish they offered gluten free bread.
My husband did not like the food so much, he thought it was too fancy for his taste, plus he has an allergy to cream and mayonnaise. There was a lot of cream in almost all the dishes, so not good if you have a cream allergy. We started close to 7:15 pm, we had a 3 course meal and finished at 10 pm, not because we stayed and talked but it seemed like between every course we had to wait about 30-40 minutes. I'm not used to waiting so long for food. Maybe they were short staffed or maybe this is normal for them? I thought it was strange. Besides that, it was very good food.
