Bleuwiches is just delicious 🤤 best sandwich place in south lake union. Very good selection for vegetarian people as well, and many near restaurants options for drinks. I’ll definitely recommend to try the tomato soup as well.

This has become my favorite sandwich shop in SLU! I’ve had their tuna and a chicken katsu sandwich w/ jalapeños. Both were super delicious even when not eating them fresh (to-go) they travel well! I don’t think you can go wrong with picking any sandwich to try.

I had their Japanese chicken curry tonight and it was delicious!! The seasoning was perfectly balanced and definitely tastes homemade. There was a good amount of chicken, so not one of those curries which leaves you looking for the rest of the protein half way through. This place is in a cute food hall so you can find an table and eat or take your food home. Overall a great experience and I’m looking forward to trying more of their menu.

Amazing sandwich shop! The food is always fresh and absolutely delicious, and the customer service is top-notch every single time. Jay, the owner, truly makes the experience special, he welcomes you like family and makes you feel right at home. It’s the kind of place you keep coming back to because both the sandwiches and the people are just that good. Highly recommend!

Raw undercooked chicken on my katsu sandwich. This was super scary. I almost swallowed this until I noticed it was chewy and pink. Please beware of careless food preparation. This is disgraceful.

Great place to get sandwiches around Seattle! Very flavorful and fresh however it was quite small for the price. The food also took what seemed to be like 30 minutes. Overall, I’d rather go to other spots to get sandwiches.

Guy behind the counter absolutely loaded us up! Super friendly, great atmosphere. Wings and potatoes were suppppppper good! Highly recommend!!!

Got the Mediterranean Tuna sandwich and tomato soup. Both sandwich and soup was delicious and for a good price. Need to go back to try some of the korean inspired sandwiches.

Really love the sandwiches here. Tried chicken katsu sandwich and K bbq bahn mi, both were delicious! There is usually a line for lunch, but I've gone close to closing time and there was no line. It is located in a food mall with seating inside.

Definitely a fan of Bleuwiches! We got takeout and ate our meal on the outside table area. I had the grilled cheese sandwich with tomato bisque and it was fantastic! Cheese was melty and the bread was tasty especially when paired with their creamy tomato soup. I also ordered their potato salad and was a huge fan! My husband got one of their baguette sandwiches and really enjoyed his meal! Overall, really love this spot and look forward to trying all of their other sandwiches.

Had lunch at here with a college friend, and it was awesome. This place has fusion sandwiches that were really yummy. We tried the Korean Bahn Mi, Korean Breakfast Sandwich, and the Korean BBQ Cubano, and they were all great. The owner, Jay, was super chill--he even gave us free samples (the chicken curry with rice). Loved the service. Definitely one of those spots where you walk out already planning when to come back. Highly recommend!

After reading the reviews on Bleuwiches, I drove 20 minutes to try it. I ordered the Banh Mi and Chicken Katsu. Bang Mi - the bread and the meat are fantastic, and the aioli or, better yet, the sauce complements the meat well, although it tastes industrialized (a combination of different off-the-shelf sauces). This sandwich can be a five-star sandwich if they add pickle veggies (carrot, cucumber, and daikon) and use fresh jalapenos instead of pickle. It lacked the freshness of a traditional Bahn Mi. Chicken Katsu was delicious, and the coleslaw was tasty. Hold on to the sauce a bit and offer the option to get more on the side. Brioche bread is ok, just commercial off the shelf since it gets soggy after a few minutes. We will try it again in the future (in a few months). The seating area is gorgeous, with a bar, coffee shop, donuts, etc. It is set up like a beer garden! You will enjoy it, guarantee!

Located in the middle of Fairview Market, I stopped by around 5:30 on a Wednesday. The shop wasn't too busy, but some of the other nearby places were really lively! You order either on your phone (there are QR codes everywhere) or on a tablet at the front of the shop. I placed my order and then waited. There was another person who had placed an order before me, and there was only one person working. It took over 15 minutes for me to get my one sandwich. But! The sandwich itself was great! I love a good sandwich. I ordered the kbbq cubano, which is one of their warm sandwiches. The meat was good, the caramelized onions were really flavorful. Bread was well toasted and overall tasted great! There is a lot of available seating in the building itself?outside the shop, from tables to lounging chairs. And there's also an underground parking garage with plenty of space if street parking is hard to find.

Went here at like 12 on a Tuesday and there was a line, it seems like a really popular place with lots of people waiting around. That being said they work really fast so it seems more about it being popular than them being slow. We hadn't even been waiting that long at all before the owner apologized and gave us free tomato soup. He also gave free fries to a family with lil kiddos waiting nearby. Overall the place is super nice, it's in the slu food market and is next to mochi donut and bar harbor. We got 3 sandwhiches to try as they looked good, and they did end up being pretty good. Overall, I really liked this place and would recommend others to go. Even without the free stuff I would recommend this spot, the owner was so nice and chatting with us and everyone about his background as he cut up our sandwiches. We also asked as he was cutting it he could half all of them bc we always share food we try and he seemed happy to do it! Beef banh mi- 7.5. It was good, I liked the vegetables. Good ratio. We ordered extra meat and we have no idea if they added it bc it looks like a normal amount, we did feel like the Cubano had extra meat so maybe it was just a mistake. Overall it was very good and I would recommend. Cubano -5 This one was just okay to me, I didn't feel like any of the flavors stood out and it. If anything the flavors just melded together but not in like a good way. It wasn't bad per se, just by far the worst out of the ones we got. It didn't come with a traditional bun which is kinda odd and it wasn't pressed. Katsu burger 8.5: best Katsu burger I've had in Seattle, katsu burger ain't got nothing on this. It was a very pretty looking sandwich with good ratio of meat and vegetables. The meat was nice and crisp, and the katsu sauce was very good. For $13 good deal!

The man who owns the restaurant was working and he was so kind! He gave me a free tomato soup and talked to me about vegan mayo, he also added hummus to my sandwich and it tasted DELICIOUS. You can tell he's passionate about what he does and I'm glad I found this spot. Very vegetarian and vegan friendly and great ambiance. 10/10 customer service and food! I will be going back!

Was disappointed with the experience after seeing the high reviews. Order took quite a while (it was lunch rush, but many others got their orders first after ordering later -- seemed like they lost the ticket or delayed making ours because it had 4 items) and the food was mediocre at best.

Great little sandwich shop with an asian fusion flair! I had the KBBQ Pork Kimchee bahn mi - the flavors were great, the bread fresh and toasty and the pork was tender and delicious. They sandwiches come in 7 or 11 inches- and the 7 was more than enough for me! It was a little busy, but we orders on line to pick up and it was ready within 10 minutes or ordering.

i had these sandwiches for the first time last week and it was one of the best in town! they have amazing korean flavors that's unique to this spot, i promise you will not try the same ones elsewhere! we ordered online in advance to skip the line, they had good service and dining area in the lobby of the hotel!

I ran into the place while exploring the neighborhood. And I'm glad I did give it a try. The place is a bit hidden so it might be hard to find for some people . It is next to bar harbor and across from M bar. I got tomato soup and chicken katsu sandwich. The chicken was juicy and the katsu was crispy and piping hot. All the slaw and condiments give it a well balanced flavors. I don't usually like tomato soup but the tomato soup here is beyond amazing. The portion is generous and the price is surprisingly affordable for the slu location.

The bahn mi sandwich was extremely flavorful and delicious! The baguette was crispy on the outside and soft on the inside. I want to try more items off the menu but the bahn mi is so good that I keep going back to it!

**vegetarian review** I went during non rush hr craving for soup. The menu had a salad and sandwich combo which the owner generously agreed to use for soup and sandwich combo as there was no other pending order. I got the mushroom soup and veggie sandwich. I really like the portions. The sandwich was not greasy and heavy and had good amount of greens. The soup did not look the most appealing however it was tasty and hearty! Overall I enjoyed the food and will definitely revisit to add to my lunch place rotation

Quick, very friendly service, and spectacular sandwiches! Wife and I split a chicken Katsu and a KBBQ banh mi, and found a two top on the upper deck area as it was a beautiful day. Jay, who made our sandwiches, asked us where we were from, and made easy, genuine conversation. I highly recommend.

The bread is super fresh and tasty for both sandwiches. I really liked that they used fresh baguettes and toasted them for most sandwiches. My partner got the bahn mi and really liked it. His only critique is that it was a bit messy to eat with all the sauce, but he really enjoyed it. For me, the tomato bisque was good, but the grilled cheese was better. Perhaps a bit too much wrapping on the sandwiches though? There was so much paper on my grilled cheese that I found paper in the sandwich stuck in the cheese where it was sliced. Overall though really good fresh sandwiches with lots of options for dietary needs like vegetarian, etc. The workers were super friendly and gave us some free kimchi fried rice to try too! Very much a grab and go set up - there are chairs in the building common areas of the lobby if you want to sit down though.

Finally a good sandwich place in SLU! They actually got my order wrong but I wasn't even mad because what I got (chicken club) was amazing. Never would have ordered it just perusing the menu so it was a happy accident. The sandwich was flavorful, had good textures, crispy but light bread, and delightful sauce. I also had their tomato bisque which was delicious. A bit spicy but not overwhelming. This is my go to place now for lunch.

Some of the best food you will find in Seattle, the space is a soup and sandwich shop that is all about the food. Chef Jay uses top quality ingredients in all of his creations, from the free range chicken in his soup to his curated collection of essential bakery breads. The best way to order is through Toast and pick up. There is a beautiful area just outside of the shop for you to sit and relax. The quality control is top notch and friendly as Chef Jay shows what he enjoys for lunch. Perfect place to pick up lunch for a picnic at SLU.

5 stars for good food and service. Before we ordered, the owner noticed me and my husband were undecided looking through the menu. He right away asked what we were in the mood for. He was super attentive and kind to us. He even gave us tomato soup on the house! It was the best tomato soup we've ever had. We ordered the chicken club and turkey sandwich. My husband and I split our sandwiches so we could try both. Both were so delicious! The chicken club was juicy and had a little kick because of the peppers and the turkey had a tangy taste because of the slaw. Both sandwiches had their own uniqu flavors. Im so glad this was our first stop after arriving in Seattle from LA. Thank you!

Seattle is LUCKY to have this business. This is by far the best sandwich I've ever eaten in the Seattle area. I ordered the katsu sandwich and kbbq banh mi and it did not disappoint. The shop is located in the lobby of 400 Fairview and run by a father and his son. Both are so kind and very dedicated to serving quality food for their customers. Come show this business some love!!!

Great sandwich spot. Not the cheapest, but the quality and portion make up for it. The 11" kbbq banh mi was huge and enough for two people. I highly recommend the chicken and potato soup. It was delicious and nourishing, and was like something mom would make when you're sick. Service was great as well.

We were having cocktails a few doors down and decided to grab a sandwich before heading home. The chicken katsu sandwich from Bleuwiches ended up being the highlight of our night--it was so delicious! Highly recommend it.

Great sandwich! I ordered a veggie sandwich and it was packed with tons of veggies! Amazing, kind, attentive service. I was even offered a free bowl of soup as I waited...which by the way was delicious. Go support them! Located in the 400 Fairview building which has plenty of places to sit and eat.

How a simple breakfast sandwich can really alter your day! I was having a bad morning, but Bleuwiches' breakfast sandwich put a smile on my face through its delicious food AND the service! Awesome place to stop by during a busy day to enjoy bit of life!

The ribeye bahn mi sandwich was excellent. The baguette was crispy and soft. The owner making the sandwich is very nice and wants to make sure you are getting a sandwich customized to what you want. I have eaten here twice and really enjoyed the food. You can sit outside or inside, seating is always available.

This might be the best sandwich I've had in my eight years of living in Seattle. I had the turkey, avocado with slaw, and the slaw made the sandwich. Huge portions, so despite being a little more expensive, it's a great bang for your buck.

Got the Pure Avocado veggie sandwich through Uber Eats pickup. The sandwich was absolutely delicious and well crafted. Great portion size for the price as well. The service was also excellent. They take pride in the sandwiches they make which shows through. Would highly recommend

This place has an unreasonable wait time. If they tell you 5-7 minutes be prepared to wait 45. I watched the employees do everything except for work on the order I was waiting for, including cleaning up. If they would've told me to come back in 20 minutes that's fine but there's no need to lie about the wait time and take care of other tasks while I'm standing here waiting. If I could give 0 stars I would. Definitely wouldn't recommend.

Jay and Daven are AMAZING! They are super friendly and take care of their customers like family! Their sandwiches are the best! I've had the tonkatsu sandwich, which comes with a perfectly panko breaded and fried piece of chicken, and the very delicious K-BBQ banh-mi! The salads are awesome too. Price is great and the volume of food is perfect for lunch. He also caters!
