They recently catered an event that I attended and the food was so good! The pictures below are of leftovers, because they had extra left over after the event ended. I believe the option that they chose for the event was the "big easy bar". I tried the jambalaya pasta with andouille & chicken, the blackened chicken, the smoky red beans, and sweet & sour collard greens. Everything was delicious, I wish they had a restaurant so I could have it again!

They catered my daughter’s Sweet 16, and the experience—from delivery to the very last bite—was flawless. The birthday girl felt like royalty, the sleepover was a hit, and the food disappeared fast. The flavor is honestly indescribable. The chipotle chicken was so tender, and the chimichurri skirt steak melted in your mouth. Multiple girls said it was “much better and way more flavorful than Chipotle,” and my husband wholeheartedly agreed. Everything was fresh, bold, and cooked to perfection. It should be illegal to make food this good. The delivery driver was early, courteous, and professional, even offering helpful setup tips that made hosting effortless. B. Lin Catering didn’t just provide food—they helped create a joyful, unforgettable celebration. Highly recommend and will absolutely order again.

I work for a nonprofit in D.C. and we recently held an important event for local partners. Not only was B.Lin Catering easy to work with, the food was delicious, the setup was a breeze, and the staff were incredibly kind. I can’t thank you enough! The entire experience — from planning to execution — was absolutely amazing. The staff loved the food options, and the turkey and lentil tacos were truly the talk of the night. B. Lin was fantastic at working with us to make amazing food that combined our Israeli and Filipino food traditions for our wedding. They clearly spent a great deal of time researching the right dishes that celebrated the flavors of our cultures, resulting in a menu that reflected us as a couple. The food was remarkable, there were definitely no airline chicken breasts or mushy steamed vegetables involved. Even though many of the ethnic dishes they prepared were new to them, we were impressed at how authentic they tasted. Don’t tell our family, but some of the recipes were better than our families’ cooking (their kare kare was fantastic). They were open to feedback and helped us work within our budget. We will definitely be coming back to B. Lin.

I did a last minute booking with B.Lin catering for my husband's 50th birthday party and Natalie was amazing! She helped me finalize the menu and work through all the details in two days right before the Thanksgiving holiday. The food was delicious and presentation superb. Also have to shout out the delivery guy for B.Lin, he was on time and did a beautiful job with set up! I would definitely recommend B.Lin and will be sure to use them again!

This company catered a 5 day work conference I attended and they were very impressive. Unfortunately I couldn't eat a few of the meals because of dietary restrictions but I sampled their Asian noodle bar (whatever they do with their tofu I only wish I could replicate), Greek food and sandwiches (I don't love that they use chicken thigh for a lot of the recipes but they did look appetizing). I had to skip the burrito and fajita bars but the portions were massive and everything looked good.

I attended an event at the Urban Institute where B.Lin Catering was the choice for catering. I was pleasantly surprised with how delicious everything was. I especially enjoyed the butternut squash wontons and bacon wrapped figs. The staff working the catering was kind and very caring. I don't know anything about pricing but I'd definitely consider them for future events.

I have ordered from B.Lin many times for my corporate events. Natalie is a pleasure to work with, and ordering is super easy. Their food is absolutely delicious, and we always get compliments from our clients on how much they love the food. It's clear that their kitchen cares about producing flavorful food, which is sometimes had to come by for catering services. As a planer, I had the pleasure of working with Taylor and Barbara from B Lin, and they went above and beyond for my client's birthday. My client and I had a vision with fun themed appetizers and stations for different cities, and B Lin delivered and put our vision to life! Everything from our early concepting phases to the day of the event was flawless. The team was exceptional in constantly checking in on us, the timeline, and just being overall a pleasure to be around. We received so many compliments from the guests about the food and service, and it turned out to be an incredible. Delicious food, excellent event execution, and a team that is very responsive, knowledgeable, and professional in the most helpful of ways. I'll start at the start--from the first email we sent to B. Lin Catering--they were responsive, helpful, and really thoughtful about our questions. That is no small thing, because we threw a lot of questions at them in that first email, and throughout the process, I mean a lot! But every time, Rena worked through our list in a timely way and responded to every single one of our questions with answers that were direct, and helpful. She was not just ready with answers to every question, but happy to provide additional suggestions and information from her experience, and proactive about raising and resolving issues in the plans we suggested we had not considered yet. B. Lin was one of our favorite vendors we worked with--and one of the most essential when it came to actually making the event we dreamed about a reality. From reviewing rental tablecloths and dishware, to suggesting tweaks to our floorplan and timeline, to setting everything out on the big day--and more. They also were crucial to the final clean up, and helping us ensure we got our venue security deposit back! The venue manager actually told us the place " was left in exceptional condition." OH and did I mention we were able to plan with them so effectively we flipped the room ahead of schedule? All night the B. Lin team was like clockwork. (but clockwork that knew how to adjust to the other ups and downs of the day around them!) And that's just about how helpful, detailed, and responsive they were to work with. I know what you're thinking--BUT WHAT ABOUT THE FOOD? The food was delicious. I can't really do it justice so you will just have to try it yourself. My only regret is we couldn't serve everything we sampled, because it was all so delicious! Star players include the buffalo chicken wonton, moneybag dumpling, and pork bao buns which were all HUGE hits during the cocktail hour. For dinner we landed on a stir-fry buffet, because it was not only delicious but gave us a lot of flexibility to for guests with dietary restrictions. I will admit now, my mother was initial skeptical of that we weren't going with the "steak or chicken" plate that was standard. But we knew we wanted something different, and tasty. In the end, she was completely converted by the end of the night. She may have told me how great the dinner was more than anyone else! But seriously, everyone loved the food, everyone! By the end of the night, me and my wife received a LOT of compliments--that really should be directed to B. Lin catering, Rena, and the rest of the team the helped us. So this is my attempt to pass along those many praises, as well as a few of my own. If you need great catering--looking no further!

The food was very good. The ordering was a little haphazard but everything was figured out eventually, and the delivery was a little later than the time frame given. But all in all we were happy with the catering and will use their service again.

We had a 50th Anniversary celebration of Metro Maryland Ostomy Association on Dec. 8, 2024. We chose B. Lin Catering after looking at a couple others that were local deli-type catering. B. Lin has a large, interesting menu so that helped. We ordered for 30 guests: sandwiches cut in half (these halves were very generous), a salad (had 3 to choose from), a fruit tray and a cookie tray, plus drinks. We had feedback from the guests that they did enjoy the food. One asked about B. Lin since they weren't happy with their caterer. Natalie had answered all our questions and had some good suggestions. She responded promptly to all my enquires. On the day of the event the food arrived earlier than expected so that was helpful. The prices are very reasonable compared to some cartering companies. We were very satisfied and will certain use them again.

The staycation platters are such a great idea from B.lin Catering!! We got the staycation platter with a mix of korean, chinese and filipino foods. Delicious!! The lumpia was one of our favorites in the platter- so flavorful. The singaporean noodles were also a hit! For $50, the small platter can definitely comfortably feed 3 people. I look forward to trying more from B.Lin and hopefully ordering catering from them in the future.

I was on a committee who used BLin for a delivered Salvadorean and Fish taco bar for 300. delicious food. Well seasoned. Really nice sides. Great communication with highly recommend.

If you're looking to host a brunch with quality catered food for a decent price that isn't from a chain restaurant, look no further. They have vegetarian and vegan options as well. The food was cooked perfectly and was delicious. I was able to easily place an order with them and schedule a time for a delivery. They sent someone out on time right before our event and had them set up the warming racks and labels for the food. I literally have no complaints about this place. I did mention that this place had decent prices, but in some aspects, they can be a bit pricey. However, you get what you pay for and in this case it was good quality professional service and food. B.Lin catered a party for us in our home. The food was wonderful and guests were very complimentary. The bartender they sent was great and provided excellent service. Everything was delivered and set up without any issues. I would definitely hire them to cater another event.

My wife and I were hosting a Holiday party and decided we didn't want to stress ourselves out by cooking so we decided to use a caterer. We didn't have a clue who to use. I searched the Washington Post because their food critic wrote up a piece about caterers. But alas, my wife used Yelp and found B.Lin Catering. I wasn't involved in the ordering or delivery process (she said it was very easy) but I was certainly involved with eating their food! The delivery person came on time and I was impressed how everything was packaged. The hot food stayed warm and everything came with nice platters, serve-ware and signs of the food. The food was outstanding. We had so many compliments of the food quality and the selections we chose. Highlights were the Mexican Elote, crab cakes, BBQ Cilantro shrimp, Truffle Cheeseburger sliders, Ban Mi sliders and the Chocolate Mousse Shooters. We will definitely use B.Lin Catering for our next event and I highly recommend them. They did a fantastic job!

We loved our experience with Blin. They catered our wedding for 150. fantastic food. Rave reviews of both the Asian buffet and the BBQ buffet for a multicultural guest list. Also had amazing apps and dessert and top notch bartenders and phenomenal service. Highly recommend!

I used B.Lin catering for an office holiday party of 32 people. The food was fantastic. Out of this world actually, especially for the price. I have never seen spicy noodles done so well, and the fajitas had perfect flavor & toppings. Rena was an AMAZING event planner! She was so accommodating to all of my requests and questions. I loved how friendly and flexible she was with my order. She always responded right away and made multiple adjustments for me last minute :)!! We worked with B Lin for a gathering in our home. We were able to order trays of items - the menus online were easy to navigate. When I reached out to B Lin, Roya responded quickly and helped create a menu on restrictions that we had. Set up was very fast and nice. COVID-19 protocols were followed and staff were exceptionally polite. Now for the food - simply delicious. The peri-peri chicken were my favorite. My only note was we had too much pita bread that was leftover. But...that always happens. The dessert cups were awesome (also ordered too many but they are very good and I don't mind eating them for the week!!). Will use again in a heartbeat.

I've used B.Lin's delivery service for several events at my apartment where I wanted to serve finger food. Their delivery has always been on-time and I really like that I can order chafing dishes to keep the food warm for hours. Most important, the food is delicious. I recommend them.

I LOVE B.LIN CATERING! I used B.Lin Catering to host 3 networking lunches I held at my company, and I can't imagine ever using anyone else. They are quick to ensure an order is perfectly put together in a timely manner. Arin was a speedy communicator and made sure everything was perfect. They also make it easier than ever by delivering everything, and providing all items such as paper products and disposable chaffing sets. The delivery staff is also delightful and made the set up easy and enjoyable. I had the Mediterranean Bar, Southwest Salad Bar, and Middle Eastern Bar off their signature plate selections. I've never had so many guests RAVE about catered food before! The staff at my office were waiting like wolves to get at the food once the event was over (as B.Lin is not stingy with proportions!!) I have to echo Kimberly's sentiment in the review she posted 5 minutes prior. I first read the locale which she was reviewing and it instantly brought me back to the good ole days! Gool ole days: anytime I choose to eat brisket In fact, upon further inspection of Kimberly's review and reliving her detailed account of shared memories past, my mouth wetted so much that I plucked a piece of gauze from the cabinet for which I'm using to steep my palette's response. B.Lin's brisket was tender, flavorful, succulent, toothsome, and enlightening. The only issue I could find was that the mini brisket slider didn't deliver enough savory goodness into my mouth, and I risked being uncouth taking 1 or 2 more. So I did the network dance around the room, "ahh this looks nice, oh what's this, hi my name is Mike - did you taste that brisket over there?" with hopes of returning in some minimal tawdry disguise to raid such delectable treats one time more. The accompanying pork slider did not stand in the depth of the shadow of the brisket, with it's own grand performance of flavors as well. Now, I read that B.Lin has an underground supper club and feel as if cheated of some earthly delight. Investigation is due with proper haste.

Leaving a review here as my private person, but we recently worked with B.Lin to cater a lunch for ~ 20 people on a Saturday meeting. From getting proposals and quotes all the way to the last bite, the service and food was flawless! The quality and selection of the menu items are great; the prices are even better! Catering from B.Lin will surprise and delight your guests, clients, family, and friends!

As anyone who has experienced the service, care and food from B. Lin Catering will tell you, this team is top notch. Whether I have placed an advanced order or needed something in a hurry, Roya has always been swift to respond, very kind, accommodating and has offered great suggestions. Delivery is always on time, if not early. We've had a different expediter for each of our events, but each gentleman has been efficient, friendly and professional, needing little to no help from the host (which is a tremendous relief when running around orchestrating an event). Beyond customer service, the food is PHENOMENAL and travels well. Everything is full of flavor without feeling heavy or salty. I highly recommend their signature bars as it allows for variety and accommodates for diets and aversions extremely well. B Lin gained fame through supper clubs and they have broadened to catering. This organization has the added bonus of offering discounted rates to local nonprofits. B Lin has a range a wide selection on its menu and can cover a range of events from plated to buffet style meals, appetizers, drinks. This company can also tailor to your event needs whether a smaller event, large fundraiser, or wedding. We came in to discuss our event and the staff was very professional, food was outstanding, and they provided us with a lot of creative options for our event. The team was very accommodating, flexible, and knowledgeable and really helped us to shape our event and determine the best approach given the location, what we were going for, and the number of people we anticipated. The price was shockingly inexpensive for the quality of food and service options. B Lin is a great company to consider for whatever your event needs are.

It has been a dream to work with B. Lin for our wedding. We started the process in 2019 for a 2020 wedding. Ben prepared our tasting for us, and was able to adjust the menu so that all of our guests would enjoy it, not just those who like spice. We went with the Big Easy Bar which was a huge hit with all of our guests. My only regret is that I didn't get a second plate! The hour d'oeuvres were amazing as well. Truly, the food was one of the highlights for us and our guests. But perhaps more importantly, B. Lin was super flexible as well all navigated the uncertainty of a 2020 and then summer 2021 wedding. They allowed us to have flexible deadlines and move numbers and dates around as needed. Our event planner, Katie, was perfect. She helped us make last minute adjustments and stepped up to help out above and beyond her contracted duties with a group of vendors who hadn't done a wedding at our venue before. For any event in the future, B. Lin will be our first call. Thanks for making our day perfect!

I was invited to an event here by proxy and I'm so glad I was. The space is large and clean, with a nice event space and obviously huge kitchen. The food is absolutely delicious on all fronts, heightened even more by the friendliness of Ben and his staff. He truly cares about food and how it brings people together. I would 100% recommend B. Lin catering for any event, formal or informal.

B.Lin is amazing! I emailed them extremely last minute (late on a Tuesday evening for a Saturday private event) and they were extremely accommodating to prepare food for my 30 guests. I used B.Lin Catering to cater my 30th birthday party and I am so happy that I chose them. This was the first time I had EVER organized an event and catered it, so I was definitely a novice. Thankfully, I got to work with Arin at B.Lin who was amazing. She was patient, able to answer anything I threw at her, and made sure that I got exactly what I wanted even if my budget was a bit limited. She worked with me to decide on which menu to choose based on the dietary restrictions of some guests. She even reached out to her supplier to ensure the romaine lettuce they used was not sourced from the area that was contaminated with E. coli. On the day of the event, the delivery guys arrived right on time and had everything set up and ready to go within 10 minutes! Using B.Lin made the planning process so much easier and I would highly recommend them to anyone who is looking to cater an event.

B. Lin is my top choice for catering lunches at my work! We are an all-vegetarian office and the tea has been so responsive in creating alternatives to make a vegetarian lunch as delicious as possible. Their Specialty Bars are my go-to -- for a set, affordable price, they provide so many delicious, fresh toppings and sauces to go with the food that everyone is able to customize a plate to their liking. Always a big hit.

B Lin catered our wedding this past October and they were wonderful to work with. From the tasting (which blew us away), to all of the menu revisions (I was indecisive, sorry), to picking out the linens and silverware (sooo many options), to the rehearsal and the day of - everything was 5 stars all around. We worked with Arin Noble and I WISH that every vendor we worked with was a responsive, organized, and detailed-oriented as she was. She made the whole process SO much easier, taking notes on our suggested tweaks to the menu and our brainstormed ideas for floor plans and the details of our decorations. In my opinion, one of the most stressful aspects of wedding plan is really just the constant communication with the vendors - Arin made it all a breeze and I never worried about our catering. On the day of, the B Lin team set up our tables exactly as we planned and everyone on the B Lin catering team was extremely professional - everyone I interacted with was warm, pleasant, and they kept the food and drinks going! A number of guests told us that they loved the hors d'oeuvres. We also had a korean taco bar, an asian noodle bar, and a skewers station. We really enjoyed the DIY concept and buffet style as it helped to cater to all of the unique food preferences and appetite sizes. The food was seriously amazing and we had almost nothing left over once the wedding was over. I'd highly recommend B Lin Catering to any and everyone!

Supper clubs have been the rage for quite some time right now but that is a train that I had not jumped on...until now. To be in the know for these type of events, you must sign up for their email blast where they will typically blast out a new menu and dates every month or so. Suppers usually sell out within 35 minutes so you have to be quick! The boy and I were lucky enough to attend his East Asian themed Club last week which featured a five course menu that included: salmon furikake tostado, mandu, crispy pork belly bun, shio ramen and fresh tropical fruit topped with green tea whipped cream and caramel dust. It was as the French say...Magnifique! Pricing was more-than-fair at $45 a head but what made it different from a regular restaurant was the location (a DC rowhouse) and the company. I enjoyed meeting the varied crowd of longtime locals, transplants, out-of-town guests, lawyers, artists, students, and more. Everyone was super friendly and more than happy to share their BYOB wares. There was no pretension, everybody was just happy to be there and eat good, quality food. For the young and hip, there is no better place to be. Please put yourself on their mailing list and I hope to see you for dinner real soon! :)

I learned about B. Lin Catering back in the Spring when I attended a small event in the neighborhood. When it came time host my future sister-in-law's bridal shower, I reached out to see if they would be willing to help with a smaller event, which I know is not always worth it to catering groups. From the beginning, Kristina and the team have been amazing to work with; responsive, flexible, and even willing to deliver out to Ellicott city. I ordered 3 appetizers (tomato & mozz skewers, butternut squash wontons, vegan spring rolls), and they even provided the coffee for my iced coffee bar. Everything arrived perfectly, with all sauces/toppings nearly labeled. We decided up front to do our own plating, so having everything so well organized made our jobs a lot easier. I received multiple compliments about the food from guests!

The staff are so friendly and incredibly helpful. The time for my event changed the night before and B.Lin was flexible and moved up the delivery time. I will definitely be using them again.

B.Lin did a wonderful job preparing the food for our party. Both the Asian bar and the Mediterranean bar were well appointed and delicious. The signs they included for each dish made it easy for our guests with dietary restrictions to have a fantastic meal. Thank you for ensuring our graduation party was a success!

I've only experienced Ben's food through his catering business, and only through southern style meals. The mac and cheese is fantastic, and even heated up the next day, tastes like it came fresh out of the oven. The meal also came with brussels sprouts, which always excite me since these little balls of yum taste delicious when they're toasted in the oven. I also like his unique take on collard greens, which are seasoned with a pleasant but unexpected slightly sour flavor (maybe vinegar). I have not personally experienced Ben's supper clubs, but they remind me of the puertas cerradas, or closed door restaurants in Buenos Aires. As in Buenos Aires, it sounds like Ben reveals the address and date of these closed door meals to an elite few.

Amazing. Great food. Always reliable. Can't recommend them enough. We have used them for years. Great for weddings, special events, staff lunches or holidays parties.

STOP YOUR SEARCH. I cannot recommend B.Lin enough - if there were 10 stars, I would give them 10. Look no further, book B.Lin immediately while you still can. If you are getting married in the DC area and want a stress-free but oh-so-luxurious catering experience, you MUST MUST MUST use B.Lin. They are SO amazing to work with and I am absolutely looking for reasons to work with them again, business or otherwise! Arin is AMAZING at her job - incredibly responsive, detail-oriented, and knowledgeable. They went above and beyond with us, as we both have dairy allergies, to make sure that we had a menu that met those needs but was also 100% tasty. We got to pick and choose the exact things we wanted to eat on our special day and were so excited to share with our friends and family after the tasting, which was DELICIOUS. Our menu covered everyone on our guest list, from vegans to dairy-free to wheat intolerance. We had several passed apps then did 3 serving stations - it worked out perfectly!! The B.Lin staff was so professional, helpful, and A+++ - our guests RAVED about the food and all the staff. Months later, our friends and family are STILL talking about how this was the best wedding they have ever been to. Food is everything!! There is not one thing I would change about the menu we chose, everything was delicious. Sorry for the multiple all caps exclamations above, but B.Lin was literally THAT GOOD. I would attach pictures of our food, but unfortunately I don't have any. Everyone was too busy eating and trying to make it to all our stations to take pictures (sign of a good meal!).

We hired B. Lin to cater my parent's 50th wedding anniversary. The entire experience was seamless and incredibly well done. Couple specific highlights: - For a party of 30, I found the pricing reasonable and market based - The menu was delicious. For under $2,000 we were able to get a team of 3 including a bartender, passed hors d'ouvres, and a delicious Middle Eastern buffet - Food was great. People kept going back for seconds and I think people were surprised at how delicious it was. - Service was outstanding. Everyone was friendly and Shira did a great job as the project manager and team lead. - They came and went without us needing to do anything. They left the place spotless after doing a great job running the party. - The bartender Sergio made one of the best Moscow Mules I've had in a long time. Overall, recommend them strongly. Great experience and really enjoyed working with them.

We had a cocktail party this past weekend and based on Yelp reviews alone I called B.Lin. They promptly emailed me back and were very responsive to my every question. Kristina made an initial suggestion of appetizers and i supplemented with a few. The day of the party they showed up a bit early and were very professional. Barbara and her crew were friendly, energetic and eager to make the party a success. At the end of the night the house was clean and the hubby and I only had to give each other a high five for hiring a great caterer rather than cleaning up the house. During the party I never once worried about anything. I am a chronic worrier so this speaks volumes to their abilities. I should review the food in addition to the service. It was all beautifully prepared and displayed. Guests raved during the party about the food. Specifically the bacon wrapped figs, crab cakes and the bulgogi beef. The bahn mi sliders were delicious as well. The charcuterie spread was on a lovely piece of wood and beautifully displayed. We also had the Mediterranean dips which made for great snacks later in the week. Three cheers for B.Lin! You already have my vote for our next party.

We used this catering company for our backyard wedding in June and EVERYONE raved about the food. We had a small reception (only 20) but every single person wanted to learn where the food was from. Even our photographers asked about it, so they could recommend and also use! We got buffet style and it was definitely MORE than enough for 20 people, probs gave us enough for like 30! We got the Cajun menu and a few additional items for my vegan in-laws ;) Did not disappoint def a must have!

This team was ABSOLUTELY excellent. Arin is ABSOLUTELY FANTASTIC and was a pleasure to work with. They consulted with us on the needs of our party and did a great job of setting everything for our party.

Used them for our wedding. The food was amazing!! Everyone loved the food. Roya was so helpful with all the decisions when it came to rentals. They may be more pricey than others but this is NOT your typical wedding food and you're guests will be Soo happy!
