Where to Drink Cocktails in Nashville Right Now

"During the day, Blind Barber is a classic three-chair barber shop offering haircuts, shaves, and styling along with a complimentary cocktail to go with your service. After hours, this New York-born speakeasy turns into a funky 70’s-inspired speakeasy outfitted in gold trim and accents with velour booths, a spacious dance floor, and an expansive bar serving cocktails, mocktails, and light snacks." - Jackie Gutierrez-Jones

The Gulch Gets a Barbershop Speakeasy, Bestia Mare Brings Italian Seafood to Franklin, and More Openings | Eater Nashville

"By day and early evening, the Gulch outpost functions as a classic three-chair barber shop marked solely by an iconic striped barber pole; haircuts, shaves, blow dries, and styles use the brand’s signature line of grooming products endorsed by co-owner and partner Bryce Harper, and every service includes a complimentary signature cocktail. After hours, guests enter through a back door into a 1970s-inspired speakeasy outfitted with gold trim and accents, velour booths, a spacious dance floor, and an expansive bar serving cocktails, mocktails, and light snacks. The Nashville location opened Friday, October 6, and reservations for the barbershop or a table can be made online or via the app." - Jackie Gutierrez-Jones

Nashville’s Most Anticipated Restaurant Openings, Fall 2023 | Eater Nashville

"By day it's a barbershop where you can get a haircut, shave, blow-dry-and-style, or a hangover treatment that comes with a complimentary cocktail; when the sun sets, pop into the back for a speakeasy experience with killer cocktails like the Strawberry Fields (vodka, Cocchi Rosa, Strega, strawberry, and lemon) and small bites set to curated sets spun by local DJs. The concept currently has outposts in Los Angeles, New York, Chicago, and Philly and is coming to Nashville." - Jackie Gutierrez-Jones

We Came up from Chattanooga because our friend Shoey was DJing for Natt’s birthday but we def found a spot we want to come back to. The vibe was super lit but also felt safe and chill. The music was on point, all of the DJs were so good! Drinks are not cost efficient but everything else made it worth it….such a great night! 10/10 highly recommend!

Caroline is hands down the best barber I have ever worked with! Over the last year I have been trying to find the right hairstyle for myself and tried a few barbers that were well reviewed but none of them are as thorough as her. Not only does she give you a great haircut, but she gives solid recommendations on how to style the hair with the right products once you leave the shop. Very glad I found her!

I loved the ambiance of the bar, but the drinks were sub par. The service however, was excellent - and for me made up for cocktails. Outside of that the speakeasy truly gives a subtle character - and as soon as you enter, it's party on.

My favorite bar in Nashville. If you don’t know where to spend Friday or Saturday night, it’s the right place. Big cocktail menu and they are so tasty, exceptional bartenders and unbelievable atmosphere. They have a DJs playing a music. So you will find fun here.

First time in. Not very busy, but I had to check it out because I have heard so many great things about it. Live DJ and the drinks were in point. I tried the Southern Charm, which was sooo good. Bourbon based with lots of other greatness, lol. We will definitely be back again. Look forward to seeing what other music offerings and drinks they offer. Come in and check them out. Looks like they aren't open but come in and heard to the right... follow the beat.

Google
I got roofied at this bar by the bartender. They're marking my post as malicious, I'm just spreading awareness. If you have ever visited this establishment and 4-5 hours, you blacked out and have no recollection of your evening. It's probably because the bartender gave you a free shot called a "Party Shot" or "Nashville Special". Go at your own risk My review keeps getting marked as malicious, it's not, it's facts. Please as a customer beware of the bartenders. If you're a tourist you're an easy target. I felt the laced drink immediately, I just didn't know it was a roofie I thought it was just a stiff drink that didn't feel right. Please beware and I'm sure they're going to be back at it, again soon. If you're a current / former employee or guest of the Blind Barber and suddenly and unexpectedly passed out, don't recall the night, foggy memory etc. It's because you were roofied. I also posted a review on Nashville PD's website. Hopefully, there will be shutting this place down soon. The bartender still works there so be careful... and please don’t drink from the well.

This review is for the bar: Great spot! The vibe was awesome, and the drinks were top-notch. Brooke, our bartender, was amazing—not only did she mix great drinks, but she was also super friendly which made our experience even better.

Google
Awesome spot to get a haircut and grab a drink. Have been a few times and always had a great experience. Parties and DJs are awesome and some of the best Nashville has to offer. Highly recommended if you’re in the area or looking for a great spot to grab a drink and have some fun. Definitely check it out.

Yelp
Blind Barber will always hold a special place in my heart. I love the vibes and the music. The only thing I don't like is the drink prices are sooo expensive. $12 for a high noon makes it about $30 for two which is super pricey to me.. regardless love the people that come here and still a fun spot to visit.

Yelp
Came here on a Saturday night. Place is beautiful and COULD be vibey but it was so dead so it kinda takes away from the vibe. If they reduce the prices of their drinks, play better/more on trend music, and potentially invested a little bit more in advertising or hosting an event each month, this place could really be something but right now it's just kind of meh and overpriced. Servers were great at first when we walked in, but then after you ordered, they just get to chatting amongst themselves - they are still nice but they don't really try to build a relationship with the customers... which I feel like since this speakeasy is newer, that if they did try to chat with customers more it would encourage people to come back and bring their friends which would ultimately make this place more lively.

Yelp
This place is such a vibe! We came here for a last-minute birthday celebration, and my friends and I had a blast! Beautiful decor, nice open space - enough room to dance if you want. Comfortable seating, clean restrooms, and GREAT music. Our waitress Ashley was sooooo sweet and accommodating. She went well out of her way to make sure we had a great time. Highly recommend this place for a special event or just a fun night out!

Yelp
Very cool spot. George was very welcoming and made a great first impression for us coming into this bar. Turned into a fun dance party later into the night. Will be back!

Yelp
$21 for a Jack Daniels on the rocks. Absolute rip off. Manager didn't even care. Just offered another shot after asking how he could justify a $21 Jack on the rocks

Yelp
Such a cool new place in Nashville! Our server, Brooke, recommended the Hot Heather - it did not disappoint! Might make this a new regular!
