Went here for the 1st time this weekend and I really like what I got myself into. The bar is stacked with many different types of whiskey, and they have a great selection on locally brewed beers. I tired the pastrami egg rolls w/ spicy mustard and I wasn't disappointed. Attempting to found parking on a Saturday night is a pain but one can always Uber. I will be returning.

Very cool and laid back atmosphere, Quick service, Tasty bites and alcohol was prompt. Server was very Interactive with our group. He really complemented the night. I will be back next time I'm in that area!..... Try their desserts they're pretty phenomenal

The treatment of the tomahawk pork chop was first class. The bar staff are very friendly and Oliver, the chef is a cool dude.

First time here but enjoy the place. Great look with the dark decor. Bartenders are knowledgeable about everything they are serving.

This place was amazing! Very helpful with the menu items also warned me of something I was allergic to that helped so much because lots of places never tell you what's inside until it's to late but nope not here they explained everything and brought me my own that way my husband could enjoy the pork belly with they stuff I'm highly allergic to! Over great experience I would definitely be back soon! Plus who doesn't love cold beer and kind faces?

Interesting drinks on the menu, and the duck poutine is a must! I drank the lavender gin drink! So good.

Love, love, love this place!!!!!!! The wait staff is very friendly. The food is fantastic!! Very tasty and fresh. I've been there 3 times and have not been disappointed at all. The cocktails are very good. Ask about the specials. I've found that they go quickly and are exceptional. The food is along the comfort line but there are healthier choice also. The serving sizes are ample. Go, you won't regret it!!!!!

This is one of my favorite places to go. Everything I've ever had here is delicious. The several different takes on poutine, the sausages, half chicken left on the bottom so it gets all the drippings from every other cooking meat... It's great. Also they have a good scotch and whiskey selection along with beer and cocktails. And try the bone marrow chocolate cake, baked in the bone. Some of the best chocolate cake I've ever had.

We had a large party, Brandi was on top of it! Great, quick service. Food was tasty. We'll be back.

Wednesday Trivia, great happy hour deals, & delicious bites! All things considered, this is a great spot to catch up with friends, have a casual date night, or just pop in while exploring the Greenville neighborhood. Our go-to time to come to the Alamo club is for Wednesday trivia which is not only a fun vibe but also a great deal as they offer all day happy hour on trivia night! My only hesitation in giving them more stars is that service is hit or miss. I have had very attentive servers, but have also had servers I need to chase down & barely do the minimum expectations (check in when glasses are empty, greet us, bring menus in a timely fashion, etc)

Drinks, food, and service were phenomenal here. We were a party of 10 and they quickly found a spot for us on the patio. It was pretty busy due to it being a Saturday night but our server did his best to check up on us throughout our meal. The inside was pretty cool, the lighting was dim, and the bathroom were clean.

We love this place! I have been here about a dozen times over the past couple of years and the food along with the service is very consistent! I always get mimosas and they do have carafes if you drink more or have 2 people. I have had a birthday brunch here too and was great! They have a good amount of space in front and back so usually not difficult to find seating and I noticed it's a find your own seat and someone will be right there. They also have lots of TVs for game watching! We love the food here mainly though! Bacon cheeseburgers, chicken sandwiches and fries are the main reasons we keep going back.

Alamo has awesome margaritas and I am picky. I love the patio area on a summer afternoon (shaded) or in the cold weather (heaters & fire place) out back. It's a fun spot on Greenville that is tucked away so it's not too packed usually. The service is awesome here. They change the menu up and have lots of options. I usually always go with the pasta and Chicken tenders/nuggies. This time I threw them over a salad and was very pleased, kale & pickled red onion and vinaigrette is my favorite choice. The Caesar is on the healthy side too!

Alamo Club is such a cool place. They have a great patio and bar out back. There's a pretty extensive beer and cocktail menu. I like that their online menu allows people to recommend/thumbs up items on the menu. The Cadillac Marg was flavorful and strong. The fried green tomatoes were a great shareable appetizer. They were so fresh and addictive. The waiter checked on us many times; he was quick with refills and/or getting us anything that made our experience better!

Came here with some old co-workers when i was in town last, and gotta say... i was impressed! After a few rounds of dirty martinis (I'd give them a 7 on my scale of 10, good - but not top tier) and some apps, we ventured into dinner. A few of us had the chicken sandwich, which was well cooked and flavorful... thanks for using Duke's - it made it 5x better, and the burger and a bolognese were also ordered. Burger was cooked well, but a fairly standard and basic burger. The eater said it could have been dolled up just a smidge for a more memorable food experience. Bolognese was also good, but nothing to write home about. A solid B option on the menu. Staff was super attentive and nice, and easy to say Alamo Club is a nice little staple to the Greenville scene, and a solid spot to hit for drinks, food, and catching up.

Such a cool vibe and place to eat, drink and be merry. Came here for bunch on a Saturday and the food was so fresh and prepared well. I was shocked by the quality of food that they serve. Drinks are crafted with natural juice aka not concentrate. Ambiance is laid back but well kept restaurant. I will definitely be back to try more items on the menu!

Awesome spot for afternoon drink! We had a Betty White and aperol spritz and sat on the front patio. Our server, Brandy, was funny and helpful. She gave us a little sample of their frozen drink before we ordered. Can't comment on food or inside seating.

I'm normally a huge fan of Alamo but recently I feel like the service has been subpar. Tonight was a normal night not crowded but a few tables with a handful of people. I ordered after riding a drink I waited about 15 minutes and still nothing had been brought out. Being gracious, since there were only two staff members making drinks / serving, I thought I'll give it a little more time. 20 minutes goes by and I finally flag down the server to which he tells me he forgot to put in my order. So I order again - 10 more minutes go by and still no drink. He tells me he's sorry his "printer was having issues" (hard to believe when others seemed to be getting drinks in a timely fashion.) finally after truly about 35 minutes I get my drink - just somewhat disappointing for a place that I've had decent experience previously.

This was our first stop of the Cupid's bar crawl this past Saturday in Greenville and it was the best choice. The vibes were amazing, food was delicious and the drinks were perfect! Our waiter took great care of us and all of the staff in general were very nice and helpful. Even though it was super packed and busy we did not feel like we were ignored or forgotten about. I also had the pleasure of meeting the owner, who is the sweetest I Will definitely be visiting this gem in the future!

If I could leave this place 0 stars I would. The bartender that greeted us and make our drinks tonight was a complete jerk to me and my friend. He made our Cranberry vodkas and left them there didn't even hand them to us. But as the drinks continued to sit there, he talked to other customers. Never coming here again and definitely not recommending this bar to anyone.

So we went to this place around 11 at night after going to the truckyard. The server working the back was drinking the guests drinks when they left and was intoxicated and was slander everyone at our table. I informed the bartender inside when she made everyone in the back move inside. Then the bartender preceded to tell everyone to get the f out not 5 minutes later. was saying he wanted to go home and just kept repeating get the f out. I will never go back here again.

I would only come here for apps. We got the fried green tomatoes that were pretty good. The chip duo which you should ask for 2 of the jalapeno pickle dip because that pink one is flavorless. We also got the deviled eggs which were just ok. For entrees we got the chicken and dumplings. I didn't really care for that because the carrots were too hard, and the gnocchi was seared which didn't taste good. My daughter got the chicken tenders, and she enjoyed them. My husband got the chili and a side of mac and cheese. He said the chili was good, but the mac and cheese was sad. It barely had any cheese, and they forgot to season it. The cocktail menu is limited.

A real casual spot with quick efficient service. Ordered a crispy chicken sandwich and cheeseburger for dinner yesterday. The burger was perfectly cooked to medium rare, and its crust was nicely salted (it may be too salty for some, but I am a bit of a salt fiend). The burger was extra moist (disintegrating the bottom bun), but still tasty with knife and fork. The fries are naturally cut, on the softer side, but fluffy and fine. My partner enjoyed the crispy chicken sandwich, but wasn't raving about it. It came out piping hot, but was otherwise not too remarkable in flavor. A good solid neighborhood burger spot!

Ever stumble upon a place and then wonder how the heck you have missed this place? That's the Alamo. From the outside you would never guess that this place is as large as it is and when you see the front patio you think limited seating but don't be fooled as there is a whole open area in the back of the restaurant. So I was killing some time, was next door checking out the pastries and decided to stop in and see what they had going on as they were serving brunch at 2pm. We were greeted by a friendly guy who showed us seating options and when we saw the back area, we knew we were going to have at least a cocktail. Like most restaurants these days, the menu is visible with your QR reader and the brunch menu isn't a big lengthy book - which I appreciate. We started with blood orange mimosas and then ordered the WTF Benedict & the brisket tacos. For starters should you get the mimosa mix it! I don't know if they forgot to mix it but that first pour was straight dry wine. We didn't have any utensils until our food came otherwise I would have stirred it up however I made due and swished the carafe around to mix it up. The tacos came recommended by the man at the table next to us, and it was okay. I had to request some BBQ sauce to enhance the flavor I was looking for. The beans were "meh" - but I'm also not a huge fan on beans. However let's talk about this Benedict. It looked like a small portion, once again this is brunch, but the flavor it packed you didn't miss anything. From the crispy hash browns, the runny yolk, and the hollandaise sauce mixed with the BBQ drizzle . . . Sir, take my money!!! It was delicious! The staff were super friendly, it's a pet friendly spot and an overall great spot to catch up with friends.

Great spot for delicious food, laid-back atmosphere and super friendly staff. We loved eating brunch outside in the front patio and they also have additional covered patio space in the back. The food was great and I loved their egg breakfast sandwich with a delicious Bloody Mary and Spritz cocktail. Everything was served hot and fresh and our server was super attentive. Next time, I'd like to try their burger and they also serve Impossible vegan patties too. Overall a great experience and we will be back soon!

Absolutely love Alamo Club. Their drinks and food are always delicious. I'll usually come for dinner or a happy hour. Highly recommend happy hour drinks and appetizers... some money off and M-F until 7pm! The back patio is spacious and fun when the weather is nice, or sitting at the bar is always a good option - the bar tenders are super friendly and are pros at making the craft cocktails. Alamo Club is a staple for Lower Greenville!

Nice place for a burger and a drink, indoor and outdoor seating. Staff is very attentive and friendly. We ordered the Cobb salad and the Kale salad, next time we will try the burgers for sure.

So, the family decided to have brunch here at Alamo Club, minus one daughter and her family. To start off I really did like the ambiance of this place right off the bat. It reminded me of so many restaurants we've eaten at in New York. They have indoor and covered outdoor seating in the back. We started off with three of their appetizers, and ALL three we excellent choices. You can't wrong with the three appetizers we chose, which were the Fried Green Tomatoes, Nancy's Pink Dip, and the Deviled Eggs. The Fried Green Tomatoes were the bomb! The had a nice crunchy texture to them and the remoulade sauce made it complete, delicious! The Deviled Eggs were also great! There was so much flavor in these deviled eggs. Just ordered them! You're welcome! Nancy's Pink Dip was also very tasty and with their homemade chips made that appetizer that more enjoyable. Since it was brunch and I haven't had my 3rd cup of coffee for the day yet, the wife and I ordered coffees. Just straight up, good ole black coffee and we added cream to them with a little sugar and that's all you need. I ordered the Brisket Breakfast tacos which were really good. The wife ordered Chilaquiles, which were good. They weren't bad, but having chilaquiles elsewhere, especially at Mexican restaurants is kind of hard to beat. That's ok, because everyone can have their own spin to them and these were good. There was also a Crispy Chicken Sandwich and WTF Benedict that was ordered by the daughter and her fiancé. They both liked their dishes. We will be back for more great service and food, because the service was top notch. We'll have to make it when it is time to drink.

During a recent trip to Dallas, my husband and I dined here. There was no crowd on a quiet weekday afternoon so we were seated promptly. I ordered the Caesar salad and my husband went with a burger. We were both satisfied and I must say, that salad was great! Also, our waiter was attentive and super friendly!

Great food, ambiance, service, and awesome trivia! I went with my church group on a Wednesday, and we ordered some yummy appetizers and had a blast all playing trivia together.

Great food, really busy spot but still super chill vibes. Service was awesome but the prices were high af! We ordered 4 green tea shots, the fried shrimp appetizer, and the chicken sandwich! Totaled up to $72! The shots said $5 ea and the shrimp was about $15. I know the chicken sandwich couldn't have been $37! I didn't think about it until I left.

Started with the deviled eggs - super yummy. I could eat a million of them. Smoked trout is a nice touch, but not overpowering. Chicken tenders for me - the gravy was amazing. Touch if jalapeño but not too spicy. I was a little disappointed that the chicken skin fell off a little too easily, but overall still had a great taste. Husband really enjoyed the chicken sandwich. Recommend a reservation - their inside isn't huge and fills up quick.

My wife and i normally go to truck yard up there road but decided to explore and visit some new spots. Alamo club definitely didn't dissapoint. It's a pretty large restaurant bar with outside seating and bar area. The bartenders were very attentive and even comped our drink due to him having messed it up. The biggest thing was we had no idea he made the drink improperly and when he realized it he came over gave us the new drink, which was delicious. Next time i will most definitely be trying the deviled eggs because they looked great

we had a lovely experience here. The bartender was kind and courteous and the service was excellent. The vibes were great in the bar as well. Will be returning!

The chicken on the salad was off-flavored. Cold. Thin sliced. Tasted like it had been in the back of the fridge awhile. It was called "roasted chicken" and maybe I thought it might be warm. Or might have a bit of flavor. Nope. Just cold, white, thin strips of chewy bad flavored chicken. I picked them all off. Server was good, but man, are they in a hurry to turn the table. Drink. Wham. Appetizer, 2 minutes later. Meal... 2 minutes after that. It felt like they were saying, "okay, you've been fed... get along now..." An IPA heavy beer menu. I won't go back.

Excellent dive bar food and service was ready and available. The burger and fried pickles were fantastic. I'll also say, a few people around us got pasta dishes that looked great as well. All around great spot for dinner and drinks.

Great Brunch menu, from appetizers to entrees! Our Queso had brisket and was full of flavor, and the chips were light and fresh. (I wish they served the Pink Dip all day, but it isn't available in Brunch hours.). My Big-Ass Brisket Breakfast Burrito was tasty and easy to pick up and eat, even though it is def NOT "big." My wife loved the Chicken & Waffles; crispy and dry chicken - on bacon topped waffles! Only reason I didn't get the C&W as well, is the Jalapeno Gravy - figured it might be too spicy for this lightweight to enjoy. Full bar with good House Cocktails and interesting Shots - including the ever popular 'Corpse Reviver' in a shot-sized serving. The 'Arnie-P' was particularly tasty, so I had two of those! Large patio areas if you want to enjoy the open air. Great service and a very friendly server (thanks Hillary!). This place is worth braving the lower-Greenville parking for; we'll be back!

Sat on the patio, with a group of 7. Food was great, and service was excellent. People in our group had chicken sandwich, salads, steak and fried green tomatoes. Everything was delicious. I had the miso Caesar with fried shrimp and would order again.

Cool atmosphere but the bartender bailey is very rude. Wouldn't even look at us when she told us to grab a table and gave me a dirty face and nasty attitude.

Great restaurant in a fantastic location. Ithe Deviled eggs as an app and the Pot Roast Parppardelle. The deviled eggs were incredible! The flavor was sensational with a hint of smoked trout. Absolutely a must try!! The Pot Roast was okay, nothing too special. I would definitely come back due to the great service and location. Would reorder the deviled eggs but would certainly try a different entree.

Have been going to Alamo club for years but not sure how I never wrote a review. Food and drinks are always solid. Had brunch for the first time and got the chimichanga. Perfect amount of meat, cheese, eggs, tortilla and spice. Waiter was very nice too and agreed that Tulum is overrated . Very quiet for a Saturday morning which was nice - was able to have a conversation without having to shout or mishear.

Excellent dinner. I had the pot roast pappardelle with the bartenders recommendation. I was feeling under the weather with allergies and this was the perfect meal. It is comforting and savory and very filling. The bf got the crispy chicken sandwich. He thought the fries were too salty, but I love salt so was a fan. We also got the deviled eggs to start and I was so tempted to get a 2nd order, but glad I didn't so I had more room for the pasta. We'll be back soon.

Remember the Alamo...Club! I didn't. I made reservations thinking I'd try this new place. When I drove up, I remembered I'd been here before. I don't remember whether I liked it or not and I don't remember what I had. But I'd been here before. It all came rushing back. I sat in the same booth. I'm pretty sure I ordered the same thing (burger) and, to the best of my knowledge, walked away thinking "This place is pretty good but not sure I have to go back any time soon." It has an interesting vibe. It's casual but nice enough you could take a date there and impress her. The music was fantastic. It was 70's-80's dance music which is pretty much all I would listen to if given the choice. I thought the phone charging plugs at the bar was a nice (and necessary) touch. The service was just fine. The food was good. We had the Sunday Brunch menu. Note to Sunday brunch places - you don't all have to serve the same freaking thing! If anybody wants to break out of the chicken/waffles, chilaquiles, breakfast burger rut, you have my blessing. We had deviled eggs and fried green tomatoes for an appetizer. The deviled eggs were good and I like the little egg paste they set the eggs on so they don't slide all over the plate. The fried green tomatoes tasted good but the tomatoes were too hard. I had the burger and it was well cooked and great flavor. I'm not sure why an inch and a half of lettuce is needed unless you're just trying to make a taller looking burger. Overall, pretty good. But now that I've been here twice without remembering the first time, I can take a break! Upturned face!

Terrible food. Don't do it. The meatballs were the worst!!!! Even the fried green tomatoes were terrible !!!!!

This place was fantastic! We stopped in for brunch on their lovely patio during a visit to Dallas. Our server was super friendly and attentive. She answered our questions and made us feel comfortable and cared for. The house bloody is not to be missed. Their mix is made in-house and is one of my all time favorites. We shared a few apps. The fried green tomatoes were nothing short of perfect, from the thickness of the tomato slices to the breading to the sprinkled goat cheese. The ceviche was fresh and tasty. As for entrees, my eggs Benedict were tasty. (I suggest adding hot sauce!) My husband had the chilaquiles which were also a hit. Our friends had the cowboy cobb salad and the tacos. We had the misfortune of construction starting at the end of the patio. A crew began jackhammering, which caused debris to fly up. The restaurant was quick about their action, with the manager talking to the crew and then the staff lowering a shade to block the debris. Would return 1000% for the food and the service.

Food is great and well priced. Atmosphere is great, we think the patio is super cozy.

We've been coming here consistently since Alamo club opened and have typically loved it. We always take friends/family here when they come into town and regularly sit on the patio with our dog. Last night we brought some friends in and sat at the bar for 2 drinks. In that time it seemed like there was a shift change and a new blonde bartender took over. When I went to order another round I was informed we had been cut off by the new bartender... it took me by surprise to say the least. Especially considering we hadn't even said three words to the guy so not sure how he or his boss could know we were drunk enough to get cut off...btw my tab was $12.98... It was embarrassing and surprising to say the least. I've never ever been cut off anywhere. I'm not sure if they confused us for some other group or what but they wouldn't even give us an explanation. I hate that it happened and feel wrongly accused. I know the owner is a super nice guy and if he had been there that night I don't think it would've happened. Can't say I won't be back but will certainly think twice about who I bring here.

We got together with family during this rainy Sunday. Never been to this restaurant but for a last minute get together, we were able to get reservations. We sat out in the covered patio area. It was really nice but because of the rain, we basically had to shout while we were talking. My fiancé and I ordered a carafe of mimosas, he got a Bloody Mary as well. The carafes were $10, you had the choice of blood orange or regular orange juice, and we got about 4 full glasses mimosas which was a great deal! For the table, we started out with fried green tomatoes, deviled eggs, and the Nancy's pink dip. The fried green tomatoes were so good! They had a nice crunch to them and remoulade sauce was great. The deviled eggs were delicious. I tasted the smoky flavor and I wasn't sure why that was. Looking at the menu I see that it had smoked trout in the filling. The Nancy's pink dip was awesome! For sure there had to be cream cheese in that dip but it was addicting! For entrees, I ordered the crispy chicken sandwich, my fiancé got the WTF Benedict, my mom and brother got the chilaquiles, and my stepdad order the breakfast brisket tacos. My sandwich was awesome! The chicken was crispy for sure, the sauce that came on the side really tied together the sandwich. The fries were awesome, homemade! I took a bite of my fiancé's Benedict and it was so tasty! The only complaint he had was that he expected it to come with two Benedict's. I took a bite out of my stepdads taco and oh my gosh, it was so good. The brisket was smoky and tender. I loved the hash brown added in the taco. I tried my moms chilaquiles and they was tasty as well. The tortillas had a little crunch to them which I liked. The only thing that I would modify is to have a fried egg on top. Overall we had a great first visit here for brunch. The service was awesome and food was just as amazing. We'll definitely have to make a trip soon for happy hour!

My motivation for picking this restaurant is that they have Guinness on tap... I joined a friend here for dinner, and I can see myself coming back for a drink but the service was slow and the food was only ok so I wouldn't eat here again. The fried green tomatoes as an appetizer were not fried long enough so they were not cooked. The Miso Creaser salad with shrimp I had was again just "ok". If I'm spending money to eat out I want it to be better than something I can do at home. Of course Lower Greenville is an attractive location to hang out for a few hours, and I enjoyed the more relaxed feel of the bar.

This place is great. We got here early on last Thursday night. I had a gimlet and a glass of Goldschmidt Cabernet, and my date tried a couple of beers. We settled in and had dinner. My burger was delicious. He said his chicken sandwich was awesome. I wouldn't know since he ate so fast I didn't get a bite, I will be back.

The food was ok. The service was terrible The vibe was great besides the birds shitting all over in our drinks and food. The drink service took forever. Charged for an item we didn't receive. It's sad because this place use to my go to but rethinking that the management needs to step it up if the even exist

Came here on a Sunday afternoon to grab some drinks and watch football. Ended up staying here most of the afternoon as the server was incredibly nice and helpful, even went out of his way to find a phone charger when my girlfriends phone died. Drinks were great as they have some delicious specials, including what seemed to be an iced Irish coffee. We also shared their homemade chips with pink dip, which were awesome and incredible fresh. The star of the day though was their chicken sandwich which was so incredibly flavorful and juicy. Fries were perfect compliment too, they even split it for us, which was a nice touch. Will definitely go back when in the area.

Only redeeming qualities are their artwork and kind hostess. The food was mediocre (especially considering their high end photography on the menu), the service was poor, and they left the front door open until everyone was Texas frost bitten. We ate at the bar and the bartender gaslit us for any request, ie: when I missing my salad dressing. Not a place I'd revisit anytime soon.

Love the food + atmosphere is amazing but I've gotten the same waitress a few times who will ignore you / turn a 1 hour meal into 2 hours. Disappointed by the indifference and makes me not want to come back. I hate leaving bad reviews but she kept us there late and forgotten things on a few occasions.

Giving 3 stars because of the great service but the food really deserved 1-2 stars. Don't be fooled by the online menu photos, it came out looking not like photos and the food was bland and overcooked. I was so excited for the Cobb salad, and it tasted like it was straight out of a Kroger salad bag :/ with bacon bits from a bag. The Buffalo chicken meatballs were cold and very dry and didn't have enough cheese or sauce with them. French fries were seasoned well but super soggy... bummer. Thankfully, our server was great and the drinks were good. Come for the drinks, skip the food!
