Blind Elk Tap Room

Passing through Banner Elk. We stopped in for a pint. Very nice setup. Good beer selection. Kate the manager was our server. I should have done a taster of my blond ale as I did not know it was a strawberry ale. Jo got a Belgian flavored Kolsch. Very chill place. We parked for lunch across the street from the cafe and left our car and walked a few minutes to this place. If passing through Banner Elk, stop here for a pint.

Fantastic place. Visited on my last trip to Banner Elk. Great beer, great bartenders and very nice people coming and going to catch up with each other over drinks. Really enjoyed it.

Stopped in for a pint while in the area. Nice space, with a good sized bar, lot's of TV'S with sports if that's your thing. They have lounge upstairs and a small outdoor seating area out back. Nice beer selection with lots of local options, wine and NA drinks. There is parking out front or use one of the free near by city lots. Friendly service and dogs are welcomed.

Definitely stop by! Prosecco is on tap alongside great beers. Really cool and open seating areas both inside and out. Everything we’ve had - beer, pretzels - has been delicious. Highly recommend!

Blind Elk Taproom is a hidden gem for craft beer enthusiasts in banner elk. The ambiance strikes a perfect balance between rustic charm and modern comfort, making it an ideal spot to unwind. Their extensive beer selection features local breweries, each with unique flavors and styles. The staff was awesome and knowledgeable and even had a super cute dog. I try to go here every time I'm in the area. Great little spot

Visited during my first trip to Beech Mountain. Libby & Sydney took care of us and made us feel extremely welcomed, were knowledgeable about their selection and answered all of our questions. If you're looking for a great local place I highly recommend!

2022 update. Still a great place to stop in for a beer or cider. Helpful FYI: they have more parking in the back. Finally got to check out Blind Elk. I loved it. Beer on tap doesn’t do it for me but they have amazing Prosecco! I did try the beer we ordered and it was light & refreshing. Definitely gets busy after 4pm but in a fun way. Glad they are in the neighborhood.

Sydney was amazing. I believe it was only her 2nd day. She's so friendly and definitely knows her beers. Definitely recommend this place and really enjoyed the fun environment.

Blink Elk taproom was an awesome little 2 level bar in the heart of downtown. Their beers were delicious and they provided a ton of variety and entertainment for a small town.

SEE for yourself what a great place Blind Elk Tap Room is! What a nice find in downtown Banner Elk for an afternoon drink. This tap room has 15 beers on tap, mostly from the mountains plus a few from other small breweries. Samples are available and we found a variety of beers to enjoy. There is also Prosecco on tap, wine by the glass, and a solid selection of beers and ciders by the can, too. Bar seating is ample and comfy, there is an upstairs area, and outdoor seating during warm weather. Chips were available for purchase. While the tap room does not offer other food, patrons may bring food from other restaurants while having beers - nice! We will be back - go take a look!

After having a great meal at Banner Elk Cafe, this spot literally popped up on our UnTapped App! So glad we found Blind Elk! It is really a sweet venue. Totally relaxing and has a chill vibe! We sat outside, in the back, enjoying the wonderful stream. Inside has a downstairs and upstairs, perfect for watching football games. Lot's of local NC craft beer greatness! They are planning food trucks and bands! We look forward to going back!!!!!

If you've never checked this hidden gem out, run. Don't walk. This place is amazing, atmosphere is on point and the owners/staff are over the top awesome! We were hesitant because we have a 6 year old, and also a grandparent. We all enjoyed. They we're grilling up hamburgers & hot dogs that were delish! Great beer, wine & Prosecco (on tap). Lots of games upstairs, our 6 year old didn't even want to leave! We love this place, and will always make sure we stop in when in town!!! Cheers, enjoy & you're welcome!!

Great atmosphere and beer selections. My favorite place to grab a beer in Banner Elk.

A new great place in Banner Elk has arrived. Tap list is spot on with a perfect variety to please any beer drinker including one like myself that enjoys dark beers. Also have a wine list that covers the major players. Somewhat of a small place but the front wall opens up and become a bar where can enjoy a street side view. There in an upstairs with more TVs and a nice sitting area over looking the backyard. Their is a small deck you can also enjoy on the first floor over looking the multiple picnic tables in the back. Staff are very friendly and any line at the bar os worked through quickly. On my second visit there we sat upstairs and unfortunately the music was so loud it was impossible to hold a conversation and at least 2 customers parted ways. Since it may just be a fluke, I made no deduction in my review. Decor was fantastic and the place was spotless. Will be back.

Great find in Downtown Banner Elk! Friendly staff, samples offered before you commit to a drink selection, tons of tasty packaged snacks, and a variety of seating options. Our group of nine walked in and received quick service and enjoyed a good hang while waiting for a table across the street.

The bartender, Lydia, was a delight. I'm visiting from out of town, and this place was so nice. She gave Awesome service, had a good attitude, the place has a nice atmosphere. A great place to hangout at any time of the day! Great selection of beer as well. All the prices are reasonable and sometimes they serve food that the owner cooks. A great time

Small out doors type tap room. Beer reasonable prices and selection. Nice place to hang out. First time we went we couldn't get service from the girl behind the bar, didn't even acknowledge us. Second time was better

Quaint place cool beer selection, very friendly service. The day we were there they had a deep fried pretzel truck and great live music

Nice atmosphere, lots of TVs and a solid tap list with great variety. The "you gotta register because we're a club" thing is annoying, but I get it --- it's NC law. They advertise food trucks, so that's cool. The grilled cheese guys were late, unfriendly, and served poor food, but it's not Blind Elk's fault.

This place is awesome and the owner is a really cool guy. Was up here from Wilmington hiking all day and wanted a beer so figured we'd check this place out. Did not disappoint! Great place to watch a game and kick back after a long day on the trail. They just opened so I hope they do great!

No food! Otherwise a nice cozy beer pub. Small bar with an open big window up front. I will come back when they serve food
