One Fair Wage Declares Win in Chicago Fight Over Tipped Minimum Wage | Eater Chicago

"The owner warned that business is still down roughly 30% since the pandemic and would prefer a statewide solution; he estimated the local ordinance would raise his annual labor costs by about $70,000, predicted higher menu prices could drive customers to nearby towns, and expressed concern about a one-size-fits-all rule for diverse restaurant formats." - Ashok Selvam

I had an evening to myself while staying in Evanston, so I took myself out to dinner at Blind Faith. It was great! Good portions, lots of choices, and a team that obviously cares about being there. I had the bibimbap (well seasoned, delicious, very filling), and orange mojito (strong, refreshing, not too sweet), and the chocolate peanut butter cake with raspberry sorbet (rich and satisfying, and decadent for breakfast the next day).

I enjoyed my wonderful meal. It's been long while since I last visited. My server, Charlie, was a pure delight. It is unfortunate that you no longer have Chili on the menu.

Delicious! Staff was so friendly, knowledgeable, and accommodating! Loved that they have both vegan and vegetarian meal offerings for our mixed family. 10/10 would recommend!

On Sunday for lunch the restaurant was buzzing with customers but good table was still available. Five stars and double for everything: excellently prepared fresh and tasty dishes, satisfying portions, warm and attentive servers. As a visitor to Chicago, this was the best food and cheerful, comfortable atmosphere that I found.

I'm not vegan or vegetarian, but my friends are. I'm not.ne to vegan food and I do like it and enjoy it a lot. Food was really good, big portions . Service was good , i liked drinks too. 1 thing was disappointing tables were very sticky and seemed unsanitary. Overall I had good time with friends and enjoyed food.

Ok, I can be vegan now. The spice in the chili, the flavors on the BBQ Hogie, the crunchy sweet potato fries, ALL AMAZING. I wish I lived closer. I'd eat here every day. Nothing about this meal made me miss meat at all. And the service was incredible as well. The staff is friendly and charming. You must try this place out.

I have been coming here since last year and been a few times and every time I have had a great experience. the inside is cozy and brings a warm feeling of comfort when coming inside. there is a dine-in area and then a cafe. each side is well decorated, with adorable little fresh flowers on each table. the staff is great, as they are personal and helpful in answering any questions about the dishes they serve. this visit, i got the Bibim Bop Rice Bowl and man the variety of flavors in this dish brought together brings a flavor explosion on the taste buds. the seitan is seasoned and cooked excellently. i also had both regular and sweet potatoes fries, which are double fried to perfection. not greasy, and have a crunch to them. I have also gotten the gardein pot pie too in the past and i LOVE it. I didn’t get anything from the cafe this time but I have in the past and every drink has impressed me (the mocha especially). the place is pricey but for the atmosphere, service and food portions, it’s so worth it. i almost always leave with another portion for leftovers. vegetarian or not, i promise you will leave wanting to come back again. I will be back here many many more times.

The freshly baked cornbread with blueberry jam that came with the omelette was a standout—so delicious! Worth checking out for a relaxing brunch.
