We got the aju sandwich and beet salad. It was delicious!! High quality meat on the sandwich. The beet salad is perfectly balanced and flavorful. It was a great combo. I didn’t get a photo of the beet salad because I started eating it immediately! Oops! An area for improvement: Fries were a little cold and soft in comparison to sandwich.

Absolutely amazing spot in Carlton! The food, service, and atmosphere are all top notch. We had the Renegade Burger with truffle fries—so dang good we came back for lunch after having dinner here the night before and got the Renegade Burger again and a Ban Mi. Wish we had a Blind Pig in Bend—we’d be regulars. Easily 5 stars.

I've asked for a medium rare steak. Receipt stated medium rare. This steak was dead before hitting the kitchen. When it was served to me, it was on its way to be super dead. Definitely almost well done when the plate is the table. The owner mentioned " the staff caught the mistake before it went out and corrected it on the spot" for their response to their QA standards. Is this medium rare? I've added a photo comparing different temperatures of steak doneness. Please share with your kitchen staff.

Had brunch here for the first time. The food was exceptional. I had the Eggs Benedict which was perfection. The eggs were perfect, the hollandaise was elevated, while traditional, they said they used browned butter and smoked paprika which gave it a much deeper flavor. The potatoes were baby potatoes that were smoked, smashed and then fried and were oh so good. My other half got traditional bacon and eggs. The bacon was delicious, thick cut and came with the same potatoes as well as a home made biscuit that was light, fluffy and delicious. The staff were friendly and accommodating. I highly recommend it.

Such a great spot to enjoy some amazing food with intentional ingredients. Fries were perfect, burgers were incredible and my husband’s turkey club was a memorable one. Wish we lived closer, but also a great excuse to get out of town.

Great Friday night fun at Blind Pig in Carlton! Listened to amazing live music from the fantastic Dante Zapata! Perfect service from our server Nikki L, friendly, professional and knowledgeable! We had a lovely bottle of Barbera and delicious burger! YUM! Whole place singing along to great music, it was a truly great time!

Stumbled upon this place for brunch. 5 stars all around. Exceptional food and service and a really cool atmosphere! Honestly this has made my “top” list of our trip to Oregon wine country this weekend!

Big old smash burger that was so tasty, juicy, and somehow didn’t fall apart. The Renegade Potatoes is (are?) one of the best things I’ve ever had. Emphatic period.

American cuisine in a chill and casual setting. Discovered this place when driving south from Portland Oregon. The restaurant is located near several wine bars. The server was friendly and attentive. We coincidentally dined on a Friday night when they had a band perform. From what I heard the place does get busy at night. The food had quality ingredients and deliciously filling. The only thing to note is that there is only street parking. Make sure you don't park in the other businesses lot next door. Food- 5 stars Service- 5 stars Ambiance- 5 stars Overall Experience- 5 stars

We were disappointed with our dining experience here. The food was fine, but the drinks were a disappointment. We were there on a very hot day with a heat warning. We were served water without ice and lukewarm beer. The live music was fun but it was so loud, you couldn't talk to the person across the table from you. Service was lacking. Our server forgot several things and rarely checked on us.

What a great spot! Traveling thru the area - stopped for brunch. Yummm! Lots of on street parking available. Attentive waiter. Coke products (I'm not a coffee person). My friend said their coffee was very good. We both got the eggs Benedict. Very good. Loved the baby potatoes. Plenty of hollandaise sauce to dip bites of the egg benny in. Highly recommend

We were in town for a birthday weekend and found this place randomly. This was probably the best meal we had all weekend. Most of our group work in hospitality in Las Vegas and were so impressed with the food. The Korean fries were so amazing! Hats off to the chef! We also had mimosas, French toast, biscuits and gravy. The food was amazing.

our dinner started out great, but once my husbands coffee had not arrived 20 minutes after all our drinks did, I kindly asked our waitress if the coffee was coming and said to her that I thought maybe she forgot. The response was very off putting and annoyed I even asked. after she brought our coffee she apologized for the wait and never once came back to the table after that. another server came over quite a bit later after we had already wanted boxes and closed us out, The food was good , but the service was not what I had expected . maybe we caught her on a bad night but either way I probably would not come back here.

Place wasn't busy at all and it might be due to the prices for a small town. Got the smash burger which I highly recommend and will definitely get again the next time we are in the area. Service was just ok.

We were in the McMinnville area and saw this place on Yelp. Due to the great reviews we figured to give it a try. Outstanding. Had the bahn mi sandwich. Bread was excellent and the sandwich tasted very fresh. French fries were delicious. One reviewer stated best fries ever, which I kind of agree. Wife had a salad and loved it. When we were there they were getting a supply delivery. Everything brought in was high quality down to the Portland ketchup. Service was great and the atmosphere of the restaurant is cool. We will definitely be back when in the area. Stopped a Carlton Farm meats about two miles away. Excellent meats. Just remember to bring a cooler. Forgot to add the photo

This is such a cute little spot in Carlton. It's a great place to do a girls night out. The seating is high top with wood benches along one wall. There are also several low tops in the front of restaurant, in addition to a long bar with seating. The service here is awesome. They are the most friendly and helpful servers. I met the female owner once, she was super nice. The only thing I've ever eaten here bedsides the Yamhill county "February 2024 Meltdown" they made for the food bank fundraiser is the tuna poke. I've had it twice. Once with the spicy Mayo and once without. It's definitely a yes from me! So good. I definitely recommend. For The Meltdown month they made a very tasty tomato soup to go with a super yummy grilled cheese. I almost forgot I also have ordered the fancy French fry's here. They are awesome and and actually a great deal!

Followed Yelp reviews while traveling. We ordered Smash Burger and Curry Wings. Excellent! Also ordered Cadillac Margarita, good but needed more alcohol

WOW! That was amazing! Renegade Potatoe's, Tuna Poke, and a seriously legit pour of Weller's Special Reserve Bourbon with a large cube. Potatoes were smokey with BACON! Poke had a nice crunchy rice cracker. Win! We'll be back when we'rein the area. Sirry, no pictures that actuallyhad food in them. We were hungry!!

Beef stroganoff was delicious and so were garlic parm fries! Service was great, too. Nice little spot especially if you a looking to get a burger & beer

Every few months, my wife and I plan a wine trip to Yamhill/Carlton, just so we have an excuse to eat the $18 smash burger at Blind Pig. It is by far the best smash burger I've had, and the reason I will keep coming back. The service here is always great too, even when they're super busy

The Blind Pig is an awesome place in awesome town called Carlton! The fries are cut with the skins, not that frozen looking frozen trash you see everywhere. The burgers are juicy and cooked the way you want it. Add the bacon, you'll love it!! The place has outdoor seating and indoor seating. Plenty of space to sit as well. Decently sized drink menu, and excellent staff.

This was our first visit to the Blind Pig, but it will not be our last. We attended a Sake and Sweethearts event on Valentines Day. While I am told our menu was different than the usual fare, I can assure you, the food was delicious, especially for such an out of the way location. The service and ambience were also amazing. And alongside the @sakeone drinks it was divine!

The service was horrible. Took us an hour and 40 minutes to get lunch. In the server's defense they were understaffed. Food was just okay and the fries were burnt. Not a great experience.

Yes. Hell yes. To be fair, I've tried only one item on the menu; the Renegade Potatoes (+$bacon), but I would honestly make the 50 minute trip from Salem every Sunday for brunch if I could afford it. I'd gain 300 lbs, sure, because this is not a light dish, friends. Oily and taters so soft and squished they practically melt on your tongue and that EFFIN AOILI was so nuts-bonkers good then you throwin on them crunchy greens and furikake. Shoot, I'd have an affair with this dish.

First off fun atmosphere, the food is fabulous and the people running the place; top of their class. Only my second time to eat here and I loved it as much as the first.

The Renegade Burger is sensational! Great cocktails too. A good spot to eat lunch between wine tastings. I only wish I could test their expansive tap list.

This place is on point and unique for the area. They have a lot of Asian inspired tapas - we tried the bulgogi fries, potatoes, and tuna poke. The tuna poke rice crisps are light, fluffy, and crispy pillows to put the fresh, flavorful poke on. Super yummy. Both potato dishes also had the right balance of salty, spicy, crunchy, creamy, and sometimes slightly sweet. So. Good. Some other people in the group ordered salads and sandwiches - I didn't get to try these, but everyone seemed to enjoy. Gonna be on my list of rotating go to restaurants when I'm in the area.

Well we thought since Eater gave this a good review it would be worth checking out. Maybe it's the smash burgers or something we wouldn't eat because we're pescatarian, but the kale salad and falafel were extremely mediocre. The give away on the salad was all the carrots (always the cheapest vegetable therefore a tell to the lack of imagination) and the falafel was way too doughy. We will never be back.

Stuff is always in good spirits, they're very Friendly, fast. The place has fun events at times, and last but not least, the food is super delicious!! Thank you BP-friends!

Amazing ambiance, delicious food and drinks, and live music that was from a local artist who has an INCREDIBLE voice. Total vibes here! Absolutely will be back! Service was fast and friendly even with a full house on a busy night and 2 servers! We didn't have to wait for drinks or attention at all :-) 10/10

Bulgogi fries were delicious! Service was great too. We sat outside on a beautiful fall day. Inside is a little dark and just like most bars so not sure if I would have liked it as well if we sat inside. But the fries and salad were just what we needed after wine tasting.

Amazing food in an adorable setting. I loved the different take on several of the dishes and only wish I had room to eat more. We also missed out on the great cocktails as we continued our day with the more Oregon wines. Would come back another time and try the drinks too.

Let me get this out of the way: Their smash burger is the best hamburger I've ever had. Period. Add in a great Manhattan to sip with it and it's heaven on earth. Friendly and attentive wait staff as well. Recommded!!

Wow! We had a hard time deciding amongst all of the delicious offerings, the chef and owner was extremely friendly and accommodating. We ordered the bulgogi fries, roasted potatoes and renegade burger. They were all amazing! The burger is one of the best I've ever had (I am on a quest to find the best burgers in the PNW). The beef was tender and juicy, the bun and truffle mayo delectable. The salad that came with the burger was surprising, more like a dish than a side salad. The best way I can describe the bulgogi fries is magic Korean fusion. Tender steak, delicious flavors balanced with kimchi. The roasted potatoes also had and original flair with roasted nori flakes, sesame seeds and an egg on top. Prepare for an awesome food experience at reasonable prices. We will be back!

This place just opened in 2022 but they make the best cocktail and some of the best food in Carlton. It's a friendly, hip bar/restaurant environment which may not have the most comfortable seats but service is good and they even have karaoke weekly for those interested (I believe it's currently on Friday nights) and I even came across an excellent comedy show on a visit during October. I'm a big fan of the Smoked Pork Chop and Prime Rib Sandwich is also good while the Boujie Burger is a top quality, expertly cooked patty with great bun and everything is perfect on this burger - except the Truffle Aioli. I get it, truffle makes everything sound fancy and Boujie but truffle oil for me completely overwhelms just about anything you put it on and I was hoping this burger might be different but I definitely should have known better. Sigh. I'm told the previous business in this location was more "dive bar" environment & pricing and I heard a number of people complain about high prices but Blind Pig delivers not only for cocktails but also for food quality and well executed cooking despite a fairly tiny kitchen. Very well done, and I look forward to being back.

Great place in between wine tastings. Nice ambiance and very friendly staff. My quiche was not quite warm, I felt bad about sending it back but glad I did. It was really good and the salad was so fresh and simply dressed. We'll be back!

Another hip, fun Oregon restaurant. Two salads - Cobb and Kale. Both were good but the kale was a bit chewy. The Bulgogi was amazing. I did have the fries on the side. Fries were skin on which is always better then skinless. The other order was the Turkey Club which looked great and our friend loved it. Service was good, but food did awhile to get to us.

Love coming in after work for a much-needed specialty cocktail and a small bite to eat. There are so many signature dishes on their menu that pull me in but let me encourage you to branch out and try something new. Lunch, snacks, or dinner...make a food memory that will force you back another time!

Really good food. Their French Dip is amazing! Also has a very good selection of beer. Unfortunately, the service is seriously lacking. You'll feel like they don't care if you're there. It's also highly likely that they won't have the item that you ordered. We've been there about 5 or 6 times but won't be back.

The burger was delicious, the drink special was delightful. Parking is an issue but worth it. Nice ambiance and pleasant help made for a nice meal.

Absolutely amazing appetizers, we could've just ate those and been content, but we went family style on some mains that also didn't disappoint. Great staff, in the tiny town of Carlton making you feel like it's a downtown dinner.

we just discovered this wonderful place in Carlton, Oregon on our drive back from the coast. the food is wonderful! try the amazing French toast! Katie, our server was so sweet. i can't say enough good things about this place.

My second time there, pleased both times. Tonight we had steak and pork chop, and they were flavorful and fresh. The Chimichurri was amazing as was the risotto! Love the vibe too. Very relaxed.
