Blind Spot London

We ordered two cocktails, Havana and Oaxaca. The Havana was made with good ingredients but the Havana 7yr cacao infused overpowered all the other ingredients and I couldn't taste the Amaro Montenegro. The Oaxaca was too spicy hot for me, the tabasco is killing the drink. The service was ok but I felt more a disco-club atmosphere than a sophisticated cocktail bar!!

Larger than expected inside, stylish and luxurious interior, with a solid list of original cocktails sorted by major cities/countries around the world. I loved the French/Paris one - and couldn’t finish the Mexican one which I had chosen because of the Mezcal smokiness but the spice from both the drink and the rim were simply too much. Very disappointing. This place has a reputation but I have a feeling it's been a long time since they lived up to it. Had three different cocktails. None were particularly good or interesting. Some weren't well mixed. The food was very much basic pub/bar food, mediocre quality, and weird choices in the menu. Skewers and sliders in a speakeasy cocktail bar that is supposed to be stylish? Could have maid more of an effort. The service was just okay, they were nice and they tried but I would expect from a place like this to be much more on top of things, more efficient and hospitable. It felt just like a regular London bar. The prices were outrageous for what it was.

Absolutely love the place, it's like a secret gem! The cocktails were gorgeous. The waiter asked for our preferences and made suggestions accordingly. We went for 'London' which is quite fruity and not too strong. The waiter then surprised us with the 'Clover Club' for the second one and we loved it! (Brilliant services there!) The night we went wasn't busy at all. I like it when you can just chill and not having to shout. *The bar is located inside the hotel - go straight once you enter and there's someone standing in front of a wall of bottles of teas or whatever it is. Speak to the person and they'll guide you in😊

I haven't eaten here but have been for cocktails twice, once in July 2024 and again in June 2025. Both visits were early evening and found a wonderland hidden behind a secret door. The lighting is low and set up to create a cocoon of light around each table. Tables and chairs are low and comfortably loungey, with an old world feel to them (leather benches and small chesterfield chairs). Undulating pods line the walls with a few tables in the middle of the room. It makes the place feel intimate and private as it's hard to see other groups, particularly when it's not busy. Music (electronic on my two visits) plays at a level where it's possible to have a conversation. The cocktail menu doesn't change at a fast pace but had been refreshed between my two visits almost a year apart. A lot of thought goes into each drink and it can take months to perfect a recipe. Several of the drinks from our first visit were still on the menu a year later, established as classics. Drinks are inspired by locations and use local ingredients or flavours to evoke them. There's artistry there beyond knowing which proportions create a balanced drink; there are infusions, washes, smoke and details in the garnishes beyond anything I've seen elsewhere. Staff are knowledgeable about each cocktail and happy to explain how they're made if you're interested. They are on top of absolutely everything, from delivering water with the menus, refilling it regularly and to appearing just as you decide you're ready for another. I've enjoyed both visits and will be back again. If you're after understated refinement in a relaxed setting go to Blind Spot.

A sophisticated, stylish lounge with solid cocktails some of the best bar snacks I've ever had. Yes, it's another one of those "secret" bars. (It's not a secret, really. The doorman asks you straight up if you're looking for Blind Spot.) If you're not sure, just go into the hotel and straight ahead in the alcove with all the bottles on the wall, there will be a really nice doorman. He's super nice, which is so refreshing in a city stuffed full of pretentious, control-freak security guards. The bar itself is dimly lit. The vibe is very refined and classy yet still casual and relaxed enough that it stays firmly in the unpretentious side of cocktail lounges. There's a mix of clientele from artists, to theatre goers, to finance bros and lawyers, to well-off young millennials. It's not a place for sportswear, raucous hen parties, or a filthy lad's night out. It has standards, especially as it is inside a 5-star luxury hotel. Music is from a live DJ, and when we visited, he was spinning some serious Tulum vibes, which I love. The vibe is A+. Prices are reasonable, considering the venue and location -- and the proper quality of the drinks. Very well-balanced, and enough punch that you can actually feel the booze after 1 or 2 (rare in London). The bar snacks were... a revelation? Not sure how else to put it. Maybe we were just starving but they were hands down the most delicious snacks we've ever had at any bar. There were a few weaker ones (the duck confit croquettes come to mind). But the okra is to die for! Chicken bites, frites, sprats... all good. Service was good, but a little spotty at times. But when they were attentive, they were super helpful finding us the best cocktail for our tastes and providing custom ones as well! It's definitely a bar to check out if you like legit good drinks and awesome snacks to go along with them. It was such a delightful experience that we strongly considered returning again the next night. We will be back when in town again.

quite poor and rude service. we ordered a drink each, been having a good time and out of nowhere received a bill without asking. it was difficult to place an order in the first place, staff was just ignoring us, not to mention the bill handed by staff member out of the blue people didnt order drinks that stayed before we even turned up to the place. wouldnt recommend. if you dont order drinks non stop - you not welcome here. we were told there was a queue outside and place was full but there was nothing when we left disappointed

We loved the experience at the Blind Spot. Felt out of this world for a brief moment while enjoying really well made cocktails in a cozy atmosphere. Special Thanks to Cleverson and his hospitality that made our celebration night feel even more special.
