I literally drive over an hour round-trip to get my hair cut at Blind Tiger. Vic has been cutting my hair for about a decade now, and the service at his establishment is top notch. Everyone in the shop is super chill and they always have good movies playing. I also tend to laugh a lot when I'm in the chair because of the funny conversations going on. I highly recommend this spot to anyone looking for a new spot to get an excellent haircut.

Best new barber shop in Whittier! New to the community but these seasoned barbers can do it all. Always a great and positive experience. The shop looks great. Plenty of sitting room and they also accommodate your needs with appointments. Just remember, this is a barber shop not a daddy day care, keep your kids under control or stay at home and buy a flowbee. Great barbers. Always a good time and always top quality work.

Excellent atmosphere, and service. Prompt, professional, and skilled barbers. You really can't put a price on a good trustworthy barber, but it is affordable here.

Best Barbers in all of Whittier. They're Quick and definitely worth the price they charge. I recommend making an appointment for every cut, I'm in and out in less than 30 minutes. Park in the back for easy parking. Cut in the picture done by Victor.

Top of the line grooming! As you get your haircut they have refreshments and entertainment for you. You'll be coming back not just for the quality of service but how good these guys keep you laughing. My barbers craftsman's ship is next to none, I have a lot of respect for individuals who take pride in their craft. If you decide to pop into Blind Tiger Barbershop ask for my guy Little John. I always walk out with a fresh cut and dude is super chill. The entire staff is super friendly and funny as hell. This shop has AURA.

Not parent friendly! I took in my 6 year son for the first time as a walk-in to this establishment. Barber's name Diego that started cutting my son's hair while I was standing next to them giving my son comfort since it was his first time there. Within a few minutes the barber next to as "John doe" with prescription glasses, mustache, stretched ear piercings. and tattoos, wearing a hat. Told Diego in front of me to sit down on the bench not giving me an explanation why? like I was a kid Which I found very rude and unprofessional. I kept my mouth shut and sat down since they were cutting my son's hair and I didn't want Diego to mess up my son hair. Meanwhile another gentleman was getting a haircut on the opposite side of "John Doe" where there was a lady standing right next to them and wasn't told anything for about 20 minutes until she decided to go to the restroom and then sit down on the bench. Which, in my opinion was totally unfair. After my son's hair cut was finish which was okay then I pay DiegoDiego the amount due ($30 plus tip) At the same time I told John Doe respectfully that it was not cool what he had told Diego to tell me while , I was literally standing there to sit down on the bench like if I was a kid. All of a sudden the owner came at me from across the way like if he wanted to fight, he was not there to hear exactly what was said and assume that I aggressively stood up to John Doe, The owner was very unprofessional and doing all this in front of my 6 yr old. Never going back and be careful if you go there and want to stand next to the barber to explain how you want your child's hair cut or comfort your child because you will be confronted.

Best barbershop in town!!!!! Jonathan is a great barber he cuts my hair and my son's hair he has autism he makes him feel so comfortable and he is very patient goes above and beyond.. Also I'm in wheelchair and he adapts and makes you feel comfortable All the guys are great barbers and the environment it's so welcoming ...... best shop well recommended

This place was great! I brought my 14 year old in for a walk in. John, (aka Little John), greeted him right away. I stepped away to be seated because I want my son to advocate for himself in all kinds of situations. John spent a lot of time listening to my son, exploring the picture he brought, and asking clarification questions. I loved that I was not asked what he wanted. This spot is a true "gentleman's" barber shop, authentic chairs, after shave, powder, all of it. I really respect that they treated my young man to all of it. Blind Tiger does take a bit more time than a typical boys' haircut, but I promise it's worth it if you're trying to teach your teen boy how to take care of himself to look and feel his best. Lastly, this is the best haircut he's ever had. Difficult to describe the difference but the shape of the hair is perfectly suited to the shape of his head. It looks amazing!

Amazing service been coming here since it opened, great group of guys the vibes are always positive. The look of the shop is cool too it blends vintage barber, motorcycle and rock n roll style in a cohesive way. Barbers are always very attentive and engaging and can help you out with however you're looking to style your hair. Couldn't recommend this place more.

Victor has been our barber for the past 8 years. We have followed him all around town and are beyond excited that he finally got his own spot! One of our sons has a sensory disorder and we have gone thru so many barbers that wouldn't understand the needs our son has, so it was a relief we found Victor he totally understands and makes our son feel relaxed and comfortable. So if your looking for a very dedicated, family guy and just over all awesome he's your guy!

Several years ago I was looking for a new barber. It was really hard to trust just anyone with my hair but after taking a few chances I finally found someone who cut my hair right! Since then, I've followed Victor to 3 different shops and even waited through a majority of the pandemic until he was able to come back and cut my hair again. Now Victor has his own shop!!! Well... we are new to the area and stumbled on this place while diving. My son needed a haircut, and this place did not disappoint. They accept walk ins. Their place is nice and clean. PRICES ARE GREAT ! No loud profanity music playing. Great atmosphere. The gentlemen there were very professional and courteous to my 6 year old. They were patient as my son wiggled in his seat. We will definitely be coming back. THANK YOU GUY'S FOR TREATING MY LUL MAN LIKE A LIL MAN !!

I have followed Victor for over a year and a half because of the perfect haircuts he gives me, great conversation we have and overall good person he is. Now that he owns his own shop I continue to go to him. The team at blind tiger are all awesome and adds to the barbershop atmosphere. I couldn't recommend this shop more.

Victor was dope, came here on suggestion from a friend and glad I did! He was super kind and able to work with me on a pretty short notice. Haircut was great and he even went back and touched up my beard without me having to ask which I appreciated. Will definitely be back in the future for another cut!

Unfortunately NOT a kid friendly establishment at all. They refused to give my 3 year old the haircut we requested because they have "personal policies" like what? Lol just say you can't get the job done. My son left in tears because he thought he was getting a haircut and walked out looking the same way he came in. Nice place but maybe they're not as experienced.

Was heading home with the family on Saturday and pulled up a few minutes after 3pm, didn't realize they were already closed, so I went to bounce and Vic the man said cruise back in. Got a fresh cut. Taken care of nicely, what a professional. Been a while since I've been to a legit barber shop, this spot is clean with a good vibe. Will be coming back next month.

I had been trying to give this place a try for a while. I made an appointment with Victor. He was skilled with both scissors and machine. Felt like a new man walking out. The shop was as clean as can be and they offered me a drink as soon as I took a seat. Would definitely recommend giving them a shot if you're looking for a clean but, excellent service, and an overall good atmosphere.

Been coming to Vic for years. Truly the best in the biz. He truly cares about his clients, always quick with a joke makes you feel right at home. I drive all the way to Pasadena,( yes he is that good!) Whole team at this shop is great and always professional. Cant recommend this shop enough.

I went in with both of my sons, ages 6 and 3. My 6 year old was up first, I did not get his name, but it was with the heavily tattood guy 2nd or 3rd chair from the entrance. In The middle of the cut with my 6 myr old he asked me to sit my 3 year old down, mind you he wasn't running around in anyone's way he was simply walking about 3 steps from me back and fourth. He gets done with my son's cut, I put my 3 year old in the chair ask him to give my boy the same cut as his brother's mid fade comb over, he gave me some bs saying he doesn't fade kids that small to which I explain he always gets fades and is really good on the chair he doesn't cry or move around, and the BS he replies is "it's my personal policy" I've been to 3 other barber shops in Whittier in the past and none of those Barbers had some bs "personal policy" i picked up my son off the Barbers chair and left. 1st and last time I take my boys to this shop. Next time, just say you're scared to mess up on a kids cut. Keep your "personal policies" outside of work.

We were recommend the Blind Tiger for our boys haircuts. We came in and had a great experience, Chris asked each boy how they would like their hair to look and then talked them through the different styles. My boys came out looking AND feeling great.

Vic and the fellas at blind tiger are the best hands down.. friendly, affordable and reliable! After moving here from Texas I needed a new barber which well all know can be a pain. After some bad experiences I found Vic he helped me pic a hair style that fit my head shape and talked to me like an old friend. A year later and I've followed him to 3 barbershops I won't go anywhere else, now he has his own place with like minded and skilled barbers. Whittier's best kept secret!
