BLISSS...

What an unexpected, fabulous dinner experience. It is a small family owned restaurant, just outside of the city of Bordeaux - definitely worth the drive/Uber ride. They have a unique offering of how to participate in the dinner/menu. I won't spoil the surprise element but you absolutely must try. The food is outstanding, the pairings (both wine and cocktails) are a must and pair beautifully. The chef even makes different breads for most of the courses. Amazing chef, great host and the experience is none other.

Excellent experience and food! It was our second visit to the restaurant. We took a course pairing with the five alcoholic drinks. The food was tasting, and the presentation of the food was beautiful. All the plates had playful sprints that you can not only enjoy the food but also the dining experience. I highly recommend it for your special day!

One of the best restaurants ever. Family run. Flavors were impeccable! Service/hospitality outstanding. They also do an ingredient guessing game which was super fun. After doing a lot of research on Michelin restaurants in Bordeaux, we chose Blisss and we were not disappointed.

We had the immense pleasure of dining here two evenings ago. Having dined all over, my first impression was that the concept is very original. You get a little card explaining the “game” of guessing the three ingredients that compose each of the 9 courses you will enjoy for the evening. This was supremely enjoyable fun but also made us a bit awe struck that each course was prepared with only those three ingredients. At the end of each course, Isabelle came and checked to see how we did. She was so warm and kind and interactive, cheering us on when we were right and educating us about those spots we had missed. We did the full universe with drink pairing and it was a lot of food! I wish I had brought a second stomach to be able to eat more!!! Julian was the star of the night. He is filling in for his dad, but no one could feel they got less than the best. Julian is an excellent and accomplished Chef by his own rights and I cannot wait to follow his career to see what heights he will achieve. I have only two sad parts to relay, first is that we do not have such an exquisite restaurant in New York City and second that I cannot have some more of that amazing veal!!! Bravo to you Julian! If you are thinking of eating here, I encourage you to do so. We Uber'd in from Bordeaux proper in about 20 minutes. Do not let the setting fool you, this place deserves 500 stars.

This was one of the best food experiences I have ever had. Course after course of delicious food. We ordered the Alcohol drink pairing which complemented each course perfectly. Restaurant is about a 20 drive from Bordeaux center. From the outside, it looks basic, but as soon as you step inside, you are transformed into fine dining experience. Was great to actually be able to see the chef preparing each course also. The service by the owner (the chef's mother) was perfect and it was fun finding out what the different ingredients in each course were. I would definitely recommend Blisss and if I ever am in Bordeaux again, I will definitely dine there again.

It was a very unique dining experience. The chef is creative and the service excellent. You must be willing to try new things and guess at the ingredients. There is no menu for the food. You get what they are serving that day and I was told the plan changes every three weeks. If we lived here we would try to come several times a year.

BLISSS had a warm and welcoming atmosphere, the restaurant tested our senses with their interactive menu and their tasting menu did not disappoint. We were thoroughly looked after by the owners who run a family kitchen. It was not too far by Uber or bus. I’d highly recommend this restaurant!

Such a wonderful experience! Very cute little restaurant, beautiful Ambiente, can watch the Chef prepare the dishes and you get to play a little game of “guess the ingredients” which isn’t only fun but also lets you taste the food in a different way. And the food and wine pairing were amazing! Beautiful presentation and such tasty flavours. The restaurant is a bit outside of the Center but well worth a visit.

Excellent experience! Food was outstanding and very creative! Presentation was top notch. Even played a game solving riddles and puzzles during the meal - fun! Pairing list was good.

The outside does not look like much, but when you walk into Blisss, you are warmly welcomed by the owner. This family owned restaurant exceeds all expectations. My mother and I got the full univers experience which included drinks. My only regret is that I was not more hungry. Chef Jullien may be young, but his skills are extraordinary, and sometimes he even serves you the food! You play a game where each dish is only three ingredients and you must guess each ingredient. One of the owners checks your work when the course is finished and informs you what you got correct and what is not if you could not figure it out. The creativity was unlike any other Michelin restaurant I have experienced. This is truly a beautiful food experience that challenges you to eat mindfully. Each bite is an opportunity to discover new flavors and pairings. Make sure you come here hungry, you will definitely leave here satisfied.
