"Block and Drum is an eco-friendly entertainment district featuring container restaurants, a micro-distillery and tasting room, listening bar, cafe, and hydroponic farm. The cafe at Block and Drum is expected to open in December serving coffee and espresso drinks and a limited breakfast and brunch menu, with the entire complex fully operational by May 2024. Located along the Rail Trail at the corner of Clairmont Road and Peachtree Boulevard, Block and Drum takes over a former industrial property, repurposing several shipping containers into a dining and drinking destination in Chamblee open from morning until late in the evening. The tasting room at the micro-distillery doubles as a vinyl records listening room serving cocktails made with the small batch spirits distilled on site. Finally, a modern and casual hangout spot in the Chamblee area. Love the concept of B&D making their own custom spirits and signature cocktails. The space is beautiful inside and out. They have vinyl DJs on the weekends and live music on special occasions. Definitely a great neighborhood hangout no matter what time of day.

This place is an absolute vibe. With a cafe, bar, event space, taco trucks, and open air courtyard, this is a great party spot. The staff is super friendly and my group felt completely welcomed when we stumbled upon a Saturday night event. Highly recommend for a spot to show to your friends who want to have a great night.

Great fundamentals—lush music played over an excellent sound system, delicious distinct drinks, pro-social seating arrangement—with fun flourishes—clever drink names, hella plants, vinyls-as-decor—make it easy to stay way way longer than you intended. Extreme cool place! Came for coffee and got to talk to the owner to learn about all of the other neat stuff they offer. Events, cocktails, distillation, growing their own ingredients. This place is incredible! Check it out!

Edit: I still wish they had a beer or wine option but the pineapple cocktail is pretty good and the DJs are bangers I was excited for this place to open up down the street. They have fantastic music, comfy seats, good lighting, and friendly bartenders. We went on a night where it was liquor only and they were only serving cocktails. We tried all but 2 and they were pretty much all terrible. The martinis taste like rubbing alcohol (and I LOVE) martinis. The mules don’t even have ginger beer! Hoping they have some nights with a beer and wine option or at least byob for a fee, cocktails are undrinkable.

Such a beautiful event space! With a quaint neighborhood feel. Just off a walking/bike path. Tucked away from the busy street but easily accessible. Perfect for spring through fall hangouts. A distillery, food trucks, bouncy houses, vendors. Something for the whole family.
