Block & Larder

Picked veggies are amazing, and so is the corn chowder. The salmon was also super tasty. We only came for drinks and appetizers, but this would for sure be a regular spot for me if I didn't live thousands of miles away. The bartender was extremely friendly and led us in all the right directions. We were very happy, and so were our bellies. It's located in the cutest little neighborhood too! You've gotta try this one.

Staff was excellent. Food was good, but pricey for the portions. Inside decór was really cool - very industrial. Loved the open window seating right next to the sidewalk!

This is my favorite restaurant on Tennyson. It might be my favorite restaurant in Denver. The menu is constantly evolving and playing with new or different ingredients. There are a few staple menu items that are so mouth watering it's hard to order anything new.

I have a love/hate relationship with Block and Larder. On one hand it has been some of the best meals that I have ever had. On the other sometimes both the service and the food are lackluster. One that is always great though is the beer and cocktail selection.

Good food and a decent beer selection. Service was attentive and freindly. A bit pricey for the quality and ambience, which was very "bar and grill".

Amazing place ... $1 oysters Tues -Thurs ...Shannon at the bar is super sweet. And they carry Leopold Brothers spirits...great date night spot!

A great restaurant on Tennyson with consistently good American food, creative cocktails, and an excellent whiskey selection. We have been going here fairly regularly since they opened. We had one bad experience about a year and a half ago and stopped going for a few months. But it's been very good every time since then for the last year. For whiskey, you can order 1 oz. pours for half the price, and they have many unique Bourbons that can be hard to find in Denver. The mac and cheese changes seasonally and is always delicious. Depending on the seasonal ingredients involved, their burger ranges from very good to one of my favorites in town. The bison short ribs were delicious, and so was the lamb chop. Fried chicken was good, but I would not put it with the best in Denver.

My wife and I love Block & Larder! they have an awesome Sunday brunch special $12 bottomless mimosas! couldn't get better. The staff is wonderful, everyone has always been so sweet and helpful. We made a reservation for over 20 people one Sunday and they did a great job keeping track of everyone's meal, checks etc. Their portions are big as well! Overall I highly recommend going for drinks, food and enjoy the environment
