Block Party WeHo

Shopping at block party weho, I'm always able to find just what I'm looking for. They have different merchandise that you don't see in other stores. I purchased a great lightweight summer shirt. I found a great leather jacket at block party. I always get complimented on the jacket. I would definitely recommend block party as the first store to go to for shopping for club attire.

I personally didn't visit the store, however a member of my team did. They were totally flawed by the selection and customer service. There might be other similar stores in NYC and FLORIDA, yet this is by far superior. More importantly, it's WEST HOLLYWOOD ! Enough Said ? INDEED ! If you're in the area my team member highly recommends you to stop by and shop. Always shop locally ! Enjoy and always be PROUD of who you are !

JJ is amazing, but after my 5th time shopping here I can tell you they only stock cheap, outdated, and knock-off brands. Their video head cleaners are extremely old. For being a gay store they have a very very small toy selection. They get two stars because JJ is amazing and they also carry a very small selection of Oxballs. If you want real selection go to Chi Chi Or Rough Trade.

Place is rip off they sale old radio cleaner aka poppers the one 2 for $25.00 don't buy from them I went back to tell the sale cleark about it and he said they can do nothing about it no exchange or replacment . Also he took the poppers from my hand and sniffed it did this dramactic scene that he was high and went to the floor really and had the nerve to say I was doing to much of them and probably imune to them as a customer came up to him for help he was fine lol!I Also I was told by my freind who work there before that all the poppers are fake and old and out dated along with there lube and many other products think before buying anything !

The staff is incredibly friendly, knowledgeable about the products in the store, and truly go above and beyond in terms of their customer service. It's not always easy to stay upbeat and smile at 1:30am, but they always manage to do just that. Did I mention that their prices are great too? It's wonderful to see this kind of local business thriving.

If you're going to a formal affair in a WeHo leather bar, perhaps you should consider purchasing the $199 Leather Bull Dog Harness sold here. It's one of many harnesses you can find at this uniquely niche store. Or maybe a hot pink micro thong is more your style. Perhaps you need a tanktop stating your hookup status. Jamie W. and I ambled in here during WeHo Pride, and surprisingly it was not overrun with semi-clad tourists looking for wardrobe accessories like rainbow hats and boas. Do not shop here. Rude employees and use sarcasm saying stuff will barely fit me, ect. Bought a brand new pair of knee high socks for $20 unused still tagged with receipt and can't even exchange it for a magnet. Please treat your customers better and do not comment on their body weight, ect. Workers also gave dirty looks to me and my friends as they were talking to eachother and laughing when I clearly needed help with something.

Biggest entitled WeHo I've ever experienced. I thought it was just a trope but this guy sat at the front desk giving only abusive, rude, and vulgar insults. He was mean to my boyfriend too. Just left the store feeling poor and ugly for not buying a $40 crop top. Actually the worst experience and I hope that guy rots in hell.

I bought 2 bottle is double scorpions poopers there. It was a scam. The bottles were sealed but it was not the real products. Just a suggestion, u need to open it and smell it right there before you take it home. I have a customer there for many years. This is my first incident so just a tips for you guys :).

stopped by with my girlfriend (lesbians) and was yelled at that it was for men only, honestly a lot of things inside can be gender neutral so I had no idea and the whole experience felt pretty misogynistic

I really like this store. It's the place I always go to when I want some new jocks or thongs and I am interested in the other strap gear they have. I'm a bigger boy and besides the jocks they don't really cater much to anything over a L it seems which is disappointing because like we exist lol but I also understand that anything above an xxl isn't made often. Either way like I said the jocks and thongs and underwear in the store at least go up to xl and I'm between a L and XL my pant size is 38" if that helps. Also they always have bin underwear thats a decent deal. It was 3 for $25 I believe and there's an assortment of jocks, underwear, thongs, and even sexier stringed moments. If you're in the area definitely check it out. The cashiers always seem friendly enough. I've never had an issue but yeah don't expect the red carpet to be rolled out for you lol they are as some have mentioned usually chatting with other coworkers or friends but that doesn't bother me much, I'm only there a moment, they're there for an entire shift and I get that it can get boring.

overpriced flea market with rainbow flags slapped on everything. clothes everywhere, no real organization, and half the stuff looks like it was dug out of someone's storage unit in 2009. you got cheap fabric tees selling for $40, knockoff poppers behind the counter + a bunch of faded tank tops that look like they've been hanging there since god knows when. just a cluttered mess charging boutique prices for dollar store crap. two stars only because the staff's usually nice and they play decent music.

I don't know for sure if it is the "GAYEST" store on earth as their banner claims, but it's gotta be in the top five. It's fun. Even if you aren't a gay boy. There are a few things for us gay ladies too... but really there are some things that are so clearly NOT for us and I don't even wanna know what they're meant to do. I don't ask questions. I always find something fun here. Lots of unusual political stuff this Presidential primary season. Fun (and outrageous) greeting cards. Cool t-shirts. Cigarettes if you find yourself running out of smokes on the Blvd... It's unique, fun and local shopping! A WeHo gem!

This was a fun store to stop in that the staff was so nice, I came back twice! Fun undies, fans, and favors for when it's time to get intimate. I will be back here next time I am in WeHo.

I've been going to this store for years! I live this place! The staff is very friendly (contrary to what others say) and they always know what I want and how to help! I come here probably about once or twice a week since it's so close to where I usually hang out. I highly recommend stopping in! Tip: Sometimes they have juuls sometimes they don't, call ahead

So my friend just purchased some articles of clothing from this store and the white dude working the cashier register today 6/2 at around 6:50pm. My friend made a purchase and the first time the card didn't go though. The cashiers response? "Um are you sure you just don't have sufficient funds ?" In a condensing tone. Regardless of the tone and how he said it, whether he was legitimately concerned or being sassy and rude ... why would you say that to someone? Then to ask the follow up question with "oh did you get a text?"(to confirm the transaction). Like bro, now you're implying the credit card didn't belong to him? Being your sassy self is fine but no need for the additional rudeness to it.

Very cute stuff for the gym worked clones in this neck of the woods. But Princess who worked last night when my friend and I came in basically ignored us so he could help gym worked go go dancer Faboo find the right shade of Salmon in their underwear bin. And I have never, EVER been asked if I want a bag for my purchases. If I had little reason to return in the future, Princess insured it.

Great stuff, bad staff. Easily would've gotten 4 or 5 stars if we had a better experience with the staff. Came here upon recommendation of a friend. Me and my friend walked in to buy this underwear that our friend was hyping up lol. After about 5 minutes of looking around, I tell me friend "We should just ask someone". A guy leaning on the counter says "what are you looking for"- holy shit I thought he was a customer. Theres no way to identify who works here and who doesn't. Anyways we tried to describe what we're looking for and his face was literally like "-.-". He gives us some attitude and tells us they sell out of things all the time, he has no idea what we're talking about, and that theres nothing he can do about it. All of that may be true, but theres certainly a better way to say it. While we were looking at the sale section, I caught him starring at us. Uh. Okay. He rings us up quickly, mumbles under his breath "receipt is in the bag have a good day" and practically shoos us away. They were not busy. Why am I getting shooed away like they're busy. Homie in the green cap did not like us for whatever reason.

I didn't have any problems at the store. I would give it a 5. The guy asked me if I needed any help but I just browsing. I got some addicted undies since if you buy them online they would ship from Europe. They don't have XS and limited small unfortunately. Definitely for the gay weho type but you can find some Knick knacks even if you're straight. They have changing rooms and I was able to bring my small dog into the store without getting yelled at. I'll would prob come again if I'm the area and have time to kill

Spencer Gifts meets Chi Chi Larues meets Aeropostale meets Buffalo Exchange. Quirky, sometimes off-color, some items priced REALLY inexpensively, some a bit pricey. I've bought greeting cards, a few clothing items, and a couple of miscellaneous things here. The people are friendly and the merchandise is entertaining. One major complaint as a doctor: Poppers. Come on, a legitimate and responsible business shouldn't stoop to this to make a quick buck. Not being moralistic here, it's just that there is a potential for neurological damage and too many people seem to downplay or underestimate this, thinking that they're harmess. They tried to make them illegal but this is a slightly modified formula that slipped through a loophole... I'd just really like the owner of this place to keep it fun, keep it light, and not sell products that hurt people with bad judgment.

Loved this place so much. Places that make me feel comfortable in my own skin are hard to find, and this shop is one of those gems. You are truly among those who embrace the community. Very, very friendly with a fabulous, fun vibe. Got a couple things for my girlfriend and for myself. I plan to make another visit with her in tow. If you're looking for cute LGBT novelties and goodies, stop in!

I really love Block Party WeHo because it's where they have the really nice sexy underwear, socks, and swimwear. The first time I stepped inside was at 2019 LA Pride. I bought some Pride stuff to go with the occasion. The cashier in the sexy Batman costume greeted me with a smile. He was really nice. Other times of the year, just go to buy underwear from $9.99 underwear table because it's a good price. I also like it because that's where I get my poppers, lube, and toys from.

Worst customer service . I stood for over 8 minutes in front of two bored millennial sale assistant who never smiled and when they decided that I had waited enough they served me with so much unsmiling unfriendly attitude as if they were doing me a favor

Warning warning warning! Do not shop at this store. The Owner of this store has the worst attitude ever. After my friends and I spent money here, I simply asked the store owner if there were a restroom that I could use. His reply was, "Are you freaking kidding me, do you see all the restrooms on the street?" Wow! Unbelievable horrible customer service experience ever while in West Hollywood. There are many other stores like this in West Hollywood so I would recommend spending your money at a store where the owner appreciates your business.

$14.99 for cigarettes?? Just a month ago it was $13. Lesson learned. Won't be stepping into this rip off store again.

First time visiting. Went in and was immediately greeted by Nick. Very nice guy, polite, and very helpful. Was my first time in such a place and he'd helped me with all my questions, helping to feel comfortable. Many affordable and nice options, but not limited to clothing. Will definitely visit again and highly recommend!

Fun, cool and all kinds of feel good, statement items. Reminds my of a Hot Topic type store for the weHo peeps. I love the underwear table as every week I stop in and get a few new pieces. Gigo, Papi, JOB and several other brands to choose from. Boxer briefs, briefs and swimwear piled hog in the table. Great little shop if your in the area to check out.

I bought silver lame shorts on Sunday from a clerk who was very interested in his friends. I interrupted his social life when he rung me up. Last night I wanted to return these shorts. The tag was still on, I didn't even take them out of the bag. But the shorts are considered swimwear or underwear and are not returnable, even though they don't seem suitable for either. I was a bit shocked, but the clerk was already done with me and back to talking with his friend. The store has a nice selection, but my two experiences with the staff made me feel like a nuisance for being there.

This was my experience from Thanksgiving weekend of 2013 - Do the sales associates even work here? I mean, wow. I was with two friends, and we were the only ones in the store. We had been trying on quite a few clothing pieces in the corner, having received zero attention from any employees, other than a brief "hi" when walking in. Finally, some guy comes over to where we are, not even to ask if we needed assistance, but to check himself out in the mirror!! He didn't acknowledge us at all, and I didn't even realize he was an employee until my friend went to pay at the register. I feel sorry for whoever is paying these guys to basically do nothing, except maybe perpetuate the narcissistic WeHo stereotype. No thank you.

Hi, straight female here! I live up the street and have what you might call a minor shopping habit (ok major addiction), so one thing my lovely 'hood lacks is women's clothing. I'd giving up after wandering LASC and a few other boutiques, so imagine my squealing surprise when staring longingly at a sidewalk sale, the friendly shopkeep (owner? manager?) told me they had a slew of women's samples for $5.99! I scored three cute ts/tanks for under $20 and received gracious service to boot. I glanced around the store before checking out and loved the quirky selection not the mention the "straight people are welcome too!" sign. I'll definitely be back!

Cool little store where you can find some good deals on clothing, underwear and other accessories. I've gotten several pair of nice underwear and some jockstraps (if you're into that sort of thing) for great prices. Tank tops, swim trunks, sunglasses, singlets and everything else a guy who frequents WeHo would need to feel sexy :-) The staff doesn't care but I guess that's ok as long as they ring up my items correctly. Definitely worth dropping in to check out the deals

Came here on the whim with my boyfriend. Clothes here are so affordable and so cute! You get what you pay for. No complaints. A lot of styles, color variation, from accessories to clothing to random knick-knacks that every one can enjoy. And for guys, undies galore. Love it cause my boyfriend loves undies. Super cute and affordable. Just don't bring food or drinks. So choose, food/drink or clothes?

It's Saturday night and drove to this place from downtown LA: bad attitude from staff who insinuated that I may dirty their shorts if I try them on. The tone was condescending and very uncool. I have always believed in going the extra mile for local shops like this place, but NOT when I am treated like crap. OWNER: your business will close with employees who spend more time flirting with customers than tending to real customers who wanted badly to support you. I was ready to spend a few hundred dollars, but after this experience...never again. You lost a loyal customer and you bet I will spend money elsewhere. #blockpartyfails #happynewyear!

Came in at 1:30/ location is open until 2. The guy actually said "if you aren't buying get out." I asked him what he would recommend because the store looked cool but wanted to be respectful and get in and out. Associate/manager(?) actually said "I don't shop here. There is nothing good. We are closing." So we left without purchasing despite wanting to shop. Shame. Seemed like a cute boutique reliant on local business.

So, update from my last time here where I was dragged in because my friend wanted to go so badly. *rolls eyes* Definitely saw them mopping the floor with toilet water. Like, actual water from the toilet.

This is a fabulous store! The selection is really good and prices are comparable to other similar stores, but they frequently have fantastic clearance sales. Unlike other stores where the salespeople hover over you, after a friendly greeting the sales staff usually leave you to browse in peace. And they're open really late, so you can stop in and buy something sexy to enjoy with that hottie you just met next door at Micky's. ;-)

They do not want to honor returns for swimwear even if it is paid in full (not on sale), tags still on and bought less than 24 hours! Not buying anything for this place again!

Thanks to a nicer employee. I was happily returned the unwanted items and refunded. The other clerk could use a lesson from the nice gentleman who correctly charged me.

The customer service can't be beat. Everyone is always super friendly and helpful. There are always pretty good sales on clothing. Face it- even the gays with our higher level of disposable income love a sweet deal. Bonus- it's wedged between two iconic weho bars, so the late night people watching is also awesome. My gf and I stop by here frequently. She loves the super soft tees and tanks for bed. She's like the princess and the pea. If that cotton isn't triple spun, triple combed, and baby soft- she isn't even going to touch it, let alone sleep in it.

This is such a fun store! It's super campy, and has lots of rainbow and pride gear. The store is mostly clothes, but they have flags, souvenirs, and lots of convenience store essentials like water, candy, cigarettes, etc. The staff is super sweet and friendly. It's definitely a place where everybody will feel welcome.

I'm not a big clothes shopper and absolutely loath it but I love coming in here and getting clothes! I'm a fan of t-shirts with funny things written on them and this place fuels my addiction. I have many, many, many shirts from this store and will continue to buy from them.

Great place to pick up some essential items in WeHo if you don't want to walk far. They have a variety of clothing and underwear. Also they have great Gay birthday cards. Worth stoping by if your walking around.

I always stop by here when I'm in WeHo, although I can't remember if I actually bought anything. The staff is ok. They just need to greet and seem more friendly. The layout of the shop is great. I like the way how the fitting rooms are located in a semi secluded area. I also want to point out about their racks they leave outdoor. Great idea! A good way to catch a customer's eyes with great deals. Most of the clothes are mainly for gay males. Stuff ranging from innuendo and shirts with jokes that only gay men would understand (i.e. top or bottom? your call) to your Pride Parade attire (if you know what I mean). I always see great deals on underwear for less than $15. They're always changing out their inventory so styles change constantly. They always have some items that don't "look gay" so there's always something for every guy. I have to admit, I'm starting to like those Ajaxx63 shirts. But there are a few things that concern me. Sometimes when I skim through their clothes, I would catch things like holes or tears. Some don't even look like their sizes as labeled. Some decent accessories are found here. There are shades, watches, lgbt related bumper stickers and magnets, xxx postcards and hats. To sum it up, decent merchandise, reasonable prices, but they need to work on customer service. Just greet and talk about specials!

I have come here for all my clothing and accesory needs when I want to look 'gay chic'- they are the best- most affordable- but more importantly- friendly- owners and staff. They support the arts- they support the community. Larry, Jim and James are all wonderful people and I can't say enough good things about them or this store's witty and funny and creative merchandise. The paintings are rad too! Come check it out- you will love it.

Terrance is amazing he very chill and he patient even at 1 in the morning had amazing customer service and is always helpful even if your not 100% sober please promote immediately.

I really had a bad weekend and had to visit a center in West Hollywood after work. I had some time to spare so I walked around the area and decided to go to this store.I never owned a Pair of Papi Underwears or something similar to them so I was kind of nervous shopping for the first time. I looked online to see how much they cost and they are expensive!! I came here plenty of times in the past but never bought anything.When I came in the store I wasnt planning to talk to any staff because Im shy when it comes to buying underwear. James was the cashier at the time and he was the first one that greeted me. He asked me if I needed help and I told him I was browsing around. Then he asked what size Im I looking for and I told him I was medium.I told him it was my first time shopping for these type of underwears and what caught my eye was the deals!! Theres a whole $9.99 table!! He took the time to find something similar to what I was looking at which were the Private Structure and I decided to get that one as well.He really made my day!!! I just got off from work from a WeHo Starbucks ,I was tired, I had to visit this center but when I came in here it changed my mood. This is what I call great customer service. I've been with retail for 9 years and Sbux for 3 and I know what GREAT CUSTOMER SERVICE is like and James is a good example. I read bad reviews about this place and there are some hit and miss but today was my lucky day because I came across James.He made me feel comfortible and welcome. I will definietly will come back here and look for him. And at the end of the transaction he really made my day.Thank you so much for helping me.
