Blok M Square is a convenient and lively place to visit, especially if you’re looking for a variety of shops, food options, and easy access to public transportation. The mall is directly connected to the Blok M bus terminal and close to MRT Blok M, which makes it very accessible. Inside, you’ll find a wide range of stores, from fashion and accessories to electronics and everyday needs. There are also plenty of food stalls and restaurants offering affordable and diverse choices, making it a good spot for casual dining. While some parts of the mall feel a bit old and could use renovation, the overall atmosphere is still vibrant and functional. It’s a practical place to shop, eat, and hang out, especially for locals. Overall, Blok M Square remains a solid destination with great accessibility and variety, earning it a well-deserved 4-star rating.

The place is fairly spacious, but some areas feel rundown and have an unpleasant smell. Several parts of the market seem poorly maintained, which takes away any sense of luxury it might have. I’ve visited a few times and always found the limited number of elevators inconvenient, it makes moving between floors quite a hassle. Parking can also be difficult, especially on weekends. I tried grabbing something at the food festival, but the prices were high and the food and drinks didn’t really taste good. Overall, it was a disappointing experience.

The huge crowded market is one of our favourites. Enormous variety, from clothes, jewellery, sewing logos and texts on your request, shoes and much more including lots of places to eat and a very good change place. It's spread over many floors and has eating stalls outside under cover. Definitely better than normal malls for pricing and choices

Several vendors specialize in specific genres or formats, making it a great place to dig through crates of old-school albums or stumble upon forgotten classics. Bargaining is expected, and part of the appeal lies in the thrill of the hunt, whether you’re after a limited-edition pressing or just something quirky to add to your collection. The atmosphere, however, may not suit everyone. While the building is equipped with functioning air conditioning, the comfort is somewhat compromised by the prevalence of indoor smoking, especially in the basement level. This can detract from the experience, particularly for visitors sensitive to smoke. Still, for those who can overlook this, Blok M Square remains a vibrant and affordable haven for analog enthusiasts and secondhand shoppers.

This mall has been a staple in this generally affluent city center neighborhood, offering affordable products and services to all levels of people's purchasing powers. As one of the malls built before the 2000s decade, this place emphasized vertical development with more than five floors above its ground level, plus basement. Fortunateky, newer developments put ramp style escalators that drastically reduce the stress level of actually climbing so many stairs or stepped escalators, just to reach the upper floors, for instance to go to the cinema at the 6th floor. There are also a wide array of food available to choose at the food courts, all with relatively medium pricing. What's bad with this mall is at weekends, there will literally be a lot, I repeat, a lot, of people. So many people that you'll easily bump shoulders to strangers multiple times just normally walking.

Excellent place , outside the mall the local food stall are the best place to feel the local vibes & good variety of food

It still had the best spot for shopping for many needs. I visited here at night when most stores were already closed, only some of them such as the bookstore, clothes, paint, and also the canteen. This was inside the square, but outside was more hectic because many street food stalls. But I didn’t have documentation since too crowded and focus eat delicious foods. And like my brother said, if you had enough money, go to Blok M Plaza, but if you have frugal living style, you can go to Blok M Square.

The place has really improved—there are now plenty of food options and even a play area for kids. A much better experience than before!
