We hosted an event at Blondie in Manayunk, PA, and it was absolutely 10/10 all around! The staff went above and beyond — they even let us arrive early at 9:15 AM to set up, which made everything run so smoothly. The food was delicious, the service was wonderful, and the drinks and ambiance were perfect. Couldn’t have asked for a better experience — highly recommend hosting your next event here!

Came here for brunch both times. First time the food was excellent! I have a weakness for French toast and double that for anything Dulce de Leche. Only thing that lacked was service at the bar: we didnt get any table settings, napkins, utensils, etc until after our food came out. And even then, it took a couple of mins. Food went from piping hot to warm. No matter, it was still enjoyable for us to come back. Fast forward to a couple of weeks later. Ordered the same dulce de leche French toast. This thing came out BURNT and still wet in the middle. Not only that, but no dulce de leche. Had to get it on the side. If I'm paying $$ for bread with condiments, I would at least expect it to have the condiments. Haven't been back since. Service was great that time though. Seems you cant have both at this establishment. Side note, the decor and atmosphere is very nice.

The experience started off on the wrong foot. The music was so loud that it was hard to hear my partner, and the strong, pungent scent in the restaurant was overwhelming. Further, there was a group of staff drinking near the bar screaming and making a ruckus the whole time. The whole atmosphere felt more chaotic than classy. Unfortunately, the food didn’t make up for it—the chicken sandwich was bland and tasted mostly of oil, and the Caesar salad lacked flavor as well.

It seemed like a nice place to have drinks. The esthetic was nice. We were a group of 4. We ordered drinks. We had to keep asking the waiter for the last drink. After the second time (20 minute gap between the first and second time we asked) he stated that they had a large party and they gave my drink to them by mistake. Cool. I cancelled the drink because at this point everyone else is done their drinks and almost finished their food. The deviled eggs were good. Spicy and crunchy but I was prepared for that as it stated that in the menu. I was not prepared for the 3 crab cakes or tater tots ( because that was the size of the cakes) they brought out. I believe it was served with a pepper melody and arugula. I was not impressed. The cheese steak rolls were ok. They did remove the items from the bill and I didn't eat anything else. We took our friend out for her birthday and decided to split the bill 3 ways. There was a 1.5% service charge on each bill. I'm not sure if that was from us spliting it or what. That was not explained prior. Tips starts at 20% and normally I'm happy to give a 20% tip but in this case...Issa no for me. I personally wouldn't recommend this place for anything other then drinks (But what do I know I didn't get to eat or drink much). I did have a $9.00 bottle of sparkling water. That was actually good as far as water is concerned. 🤷🏾‍♀️

I went with my friend for brunch and it was so good! Our waitress was the sweetest! She gave us genuine recommendations on what she thought we’d like off the menu and she sure didn’t disappoint!! Everything we ordered, we absolutely enjoyed! Took a minute before we got our order but that was probably because of how busy it was considering it was midday on a Saturday. However , the only major downside of the restaurant in my opinion is the atmosphere. It was so noisy I could barely hear my friend when we walked in although we were lucky enough that when we got seated- it was in the back room where the ambience is a lot better! Overall it was a good experience.

We had a wonderful experience here! We were welcomed in with complimentary champagne and a very nice table! Shaniya was such an amazing server with such good recommendations. There are so many amazing food and drink options! We got chicken & waffles and the avocado crosssiant and both were amazing!! 11/10 place, very lively, fun and positive!

Blondie is the kind of place you want to love. The vibe is cozy, modern, and welcoming—whether you’re seated inside or outside on the patio. It’s spacious, stylish, and the staff has always kept a positive, attentive attitude during my visits! On one occasion, we had an issue with how the food came out, and the manager stepped in quickly and professionally. He handled it with care, checked in afterward, and even threw in a few unexpected perks for the group—which he absolutely didn’t have to do. That level of service genuinely stood out and made an impression—it’s the kind of hospitality that makes you remember a place. The drinks are good—not amazing—but generally well-made. I did try one of their specialty cocktails that missed the mark for me, though since it was a limited-time menu item, I won’t hold it against them. What really impressed me was how management noticed and made the effort to ask what didn’t work about the drink and what could’ve been improved—and then took action that same day to make it better. That kind of genuine attention and responsiveness can’t be taught. Late night happy hour is a bonus! and it’s a great spot to unwind solo, catch up with friends, or plan a casual date night. That said, I do wish the food matched the energy. The menu leans “elevated comfort”, but it often lacks the bold flavor to carry that promise. This place has everything else going for it—the space, the vibe, the customer care—and it deserves a kitchen that brings the same level of thought and execution. Also worth noting: the music during happy hour can sometimes be too loud or feel mismatched with the overall ambiance, which does shift the experience. All in all, I’ll keep coming back for the drinks and the atmosphere. Just hope the food catches up—because with a few tweaks, Blondie could be a well rounded hangout spot.

Google
had such a great time at Blondie Bar, and a big part of that was thanks to Milly behind the bar. She was awesome—super friendly, attentive, and really added to the atmosphere. Her energy made the night feel even more fun and welcoming. On top of that, she made some of the best drinks I’ve had in a while—perfectly balanced and made with care. You can tell she genuinely enjoys what she does, and it shows in both her service and her personality. If you stop by Blondie Bar, definitely hope Milly’s working—she’ll make sure you have a great experience!

Yelp
Blondie atmosphere and service were phenomenal. Just 4 of us came in with a reservation at 7pm and were sat right away. All the cocktails were super good. I liked the Mariposa the best. We got the summer guac and salsa for apps which were really fresh and yummy. For mains the table ordered the burger (which ended up being well done not medium rare), the steak frites which was more medium rare than medium, the shrimp and crab pasta, and the chicken skewers. Everything was super tasty and came out in a timely fashion. It was a friends birthday so we ordered the tres leches cake for her and they brought it with a candle and a round of champagne on them which was a sweet touch. Overall, great spot for dinner or drinks in Manayunk.

Yelp
We went recently for Manayunk Restaurant Week. The ambience is lovely and I've always wanted to try this restaurant. Initial impression was that the hostess hates her job. The menu literally had 12 things on it -- how could it take an hour to bring out entres? The deviled egg appetizer was good, but the fried chicken appetizer was served DRY on hamburger rolls from a supermarket. Awful. The entres were bad too. The sparerib sandwich was served DRY on same supermarket rolls! Who does that? It was inedible. The salmon dish was served without any sauces and the spinach flavored rice was overcooked and dry. Luckily we ordered the Cesar Salad to share and that was the best dish on the table. It took 2 hours for them to serve us our meal, including desserts -- the kitchen must be very understaffed because there's no reason, with such a limited menu, that it took so long for our food to come out. If I go back, it will be for brunch, which seems to be the reason for all the good reviews.

Yelp
Chose this place to have my birthday dinner, it's always packed and I needed to know why ?? & if legitimately packed due to good food was my hope.Overall great experience and very friendly staff. Nice atmosphere and music, really cute. They have a happy hour which I may revisit. The food was tasty. I ordered 2 appetizers and a main entrée. Meatballs, Chicken Dumplings and main course was the Braised Short Ribs with mashed. The Meatballs were slightly overcooked /dry. The Chicken Dumplings were OK, I enjoyed them and would reorder maybe. I also enjoyed the toasted bread that came along with the Meatballs. For the main course I requested double mashed as I don't eat Broccoli. My plate came out with Broccoli, sent back. I have read several reviews stating on how flavorful this dish is. It was tasty but could have used more flavor. The rib was tender. My plate was on the luke warm side and the potatoes needed more butter, salt pepper etc. Which is not on the table. I requested butter, it came to my table rock solid and that isn't good with not so hot potatoes but I made it work. I also ordered 2 Far East Margaritas.. one was to be at regular price and 2nd was to be via the happy hour menu, bill came and I was charged full price for both. I questioned it and got a oh my bad. Reservation was made on Open Table for my Birthday. No birthday acknowledgement like most restaurants do. Check paid dinner complete. No doggie bag taken.

Yelp
I had Saturday Brunch here about a month ago, March 22, 2025 and here are my thoughts. Walking up to Blondie I saw the long line at the door. Things moved pretty quickly though. Many people were gathered and the mood was festive. After checking in, I was the first of my party to arrive so I took a spot at the bar and ordered a drink. The restaurant is cute. Multi level, multiple seating options, and chic decor, however, things took a downward turn for me from there. My party was seated on the third level. This "room" is reserved for private parties. Problem is, and I've encountered this before, it's was just a large empty room that exhibited absolutely none of the character and charm of the restaurant below. Half of the appeal of your dining out experience is ambiance. At this point in my life, I would only book a "private" room if it were truly something special. Otherwise I'd go somewhere else. And...as for "private" not at all. There were three parties up there. I was celebrating a birthday with a large group. There were 22 of us so with that said, I definitely have a big curve for error. But we were fully seated until around 2:45 pm and were not served food until 4:30pm. At this point I'd had more to drink than food, including the mimosa tower. It's volume and price tag is impressive but the scientific like beaker on steroids was less than classy. Almost every food item on the menu was represented at my table. I had the crab omelette. Lackluster, it needed a sauce. I had some of the Parmesan Chicken wings and those I would have again. Certainly willing to visit again in a much smaller group to get better feel for service and the pancakes looked amazing so I would go with those.

Yelp
I really wanted to enjoy the place. The decor and look of the entire place was amazing! It's what drew me to the place originally. Like other reviews, it took a long time for our food to come out for a table of 3, and by the time it got out to us the food was cold. The service was fine, it looks like they are understaffed honestly and that's why it took forever to get our food. The food was average. Definitely not worth the price they are asking for. The short rib sandwich was very dry. Very upset that I did not like it.
google avatar

Lucy L.

Yelp
Very cute bar. We went there during a Saturday evening but the music was so loud we left immediately. during Sunday afternoon it was cute. The drinks were nice. It wasn't very full but we waited at the hosted stand for several minutes before anyone got us. Overall the servers were friendly.

Yelp
I took a friend here for her birthday last Saturday for brunch. She made reservations for us because that area is usually busy on the weekends. Service was prompt until it came time for our food to come out. No kidding, we literally waited 45 mins for French toast, eggs, bacon and an omelette. Not to mention the food was room temperature even after I mentioned to the waitress "please don't let my food be cold after waiting this long." She apologized and said they got hit and were backed up in the kitchen but I looked around and most of the tables were empty. If the food would have warm or hot they would've definitely received 4 stars but you don't serve anyone room temp food and expect a tip. I did tip her $10 even though my friend thought I should do less because of the food. But I figured maybe it's the cooks fault. I won't be going back.

Yelp
The food was ok. Atmosphere was nice and quaint Service could have been better. Shouldn't have to look for my server

Yelp
My friends and I made a reservation on a Saturday night for dinner and when we arrived we were a bit early so the owner offered us champagne which was very nice of them. The interior is super cute and modern and there's a bunch of open seating and two bar areas from what I remember seeing. The service was also very quick and attentive. Our server Shawn did a good job of recommending some dishes as well as getting everything to us in a timely and friendly manner. The food was alright. The crab dip had a lot of meat and the Brussels sprouts were well seasoned and crispy. I personally could not eat my tacos. They were very salty and not my favorite but overall everything was good I think I just picked a bad dish and would be willing to go back and try other entrees instead. I really enjoyed my blondie cocktail though because it was fruity but not too sweet!

Yelp
We had a Sunday brunch here after my first Tough Mudder, and the food and service made up for the copious amount of pain I was in. This would have gotten four stars, but the ceiling tiles started to leak and got onto our cloths :( This service was apologetic, and the food came out super-fast. Hope to stop by here again and give this another go!
google avatar

Ally L.

Yelp
Shawn- excellent personality, handsome and super understanding and attentive to our needs and wants. The decor was beautiful! The gold molding to the accents of blondie- phenomenal and very cute. The food was just what I thought it would be- bomb as f. I started off with the garlic wings and they were delicious. Perfectly plump and crispy. Then for my meal I had the shrimp and grits- interesting texture of the grits but overall a good tasting meal. My homegirl ordered the pancake flight - they were sweet and tasty and the bananas were definitely fresh. We ordered a pitcher of cranberry orange mimosas and they were delicious! I'll definitely be back for another brunch dish and some dinner!

Yelp
Our family ate at Blondie a few weeks ago. The experience was HORRIBLE. That evening my son got really bad food poisoning. The next day he had to be hospitalized and was there for a week. The doctors said it was a bacteria from the chicken he had at the restaurant. We called the restaurant to alert them and the manager refused to call us back. We tried to reach him numerous times and he stonewalled us. We then called the Philadelphia Department of Public Health and found out the Blondie had numerous health code violations including insects in the kitchen, random food debris and standing water. I wonder just how many people have gotten sick from eating here. I would steer clear of this establishment if you know what's good for you.

Yelp
We had a wonderful time celebrating a birthday here! The upstairs area is cozy and the overall vibe feels a bit fancy yet chill. It was a perfect balance for our mixed age group. I was intrigued by the espresso martini tree and had zero regrets although I would suggest dubbing the alcohol for tequila. Our server was super sweet and we had great treatment when we moved to the bar. I shared a couple of appetizers as my meal and enjoyed it. Ask for extra bread if you go for a dip!

Yelp
This super super cute restaurant in manayunk has amazing food and is perfect for a girls night out or date night! (I highly highly recommend the Mac and cheese and shrimp Cesar- simple but effective) I've been coming here since they opened and the staff is always so nice too! They also do seasonal drinks and every Sunday they do brunch ALL day are you kidding me
google avatar

Danielle A.

Yelp
The service was really great. Thank you so much to Izzy and the runners for giving such attention to detail to our meal and brunch. The complimentary champagne was a lovely touch. The meal itself was tasty and but they were limited on what was available. Obviously they get busy during brunch and they just run out of things. That's ok. The cocktails were.... Too darn good. But then again, for the folks who decided to drink a pitcher of mimosas... May the odds be in your favor! Elise, their social media content creator, was adorable! She really created a nice vibe for those who wanted pictures or videos of the day. It suits their dynamic of group fun. All in all, we had a blast. I can see why this is a local dining staple. We will be back again! (IYKYK as of this post STREET parking on Sundays is free.)

Yelp
I am very disappointed in our experience at Blondie. A few weeks ago, I learned that this was Restaurant Week in Manayunk, for the first time in five years. My son recently moved to Manayunk, so I thought it would be a great time to visit him and spend time with him in his new town, and planned a nice dinner at Blondie based on the Restaurant Week menu. My husband and I drove over an hour from Delaware and had a nice day with my son and his girlfriend until we showed up for our reservation for 4 at 5pm. Our waitress greeted us and got our drink order, and once they arrived, she took our full order. My son, his girlfriend and I each ordered an appetizer, entree and dessert from the Restaurant Week menu for $35 each, and my husband ordered the Shrimp and Grits entree from the regular menu. It took about 30 minutes to receive our appetizers, but the waitress did tell us it would take about 30 minutes. Then, about 15 minutes later (about 5:45), my husband received his Shrimp and Grits entree, but the other 3 entrees were nowhere in sight. Our waitress kept telling us that our meals were on their way, but it was 6:15 and we still hadn't received our entrees. At this point, we were very upset and finally found our waitress who insisted our food was still on the way. We expressed our frustration to her and she called the manager over, who just repeated that our food was "on the way". During the entire time from 5:30 - 6:15, every time a server came past our table to serve another table, my son and his girlfriend had to duck their heads so that he could pass by. This happened at least 3-4 times. That is not acceptable. Neither is promising food for over an hour and a half with nothing to show. I would not recommend this restaurant to anyone, and I was very upset that my nicely planned day with my son and his girlfriend was mired by this awful experience. We paid for our drinks and left, without any offers of anything from the manager. Do better!

Yelp
Finally had a chance to check out Blondie with a friend today. The ambiance and decor are very IG worthy, it's boozing brunch approved, and the food and service were great. It was really popular today so service was a little slow but I had no complaints about the food. I had the peaches and cream French toast *chefs kiss* P.S. - we ordered the apple fritters to try mainly because we couldn't find pictures of them anywhere. They were okay - could have been sweeter and definitely should have had more apples in them. My friend said it would have been nice if they included a little dipping sauce too. All in all - def recommend
google avatar

Olivia G.

Yelp
The apricot siracha sauce on the wings could be thicker to hold onto the wings better and the short rib in the burrito should come out of the oven sooner, so when rolled into the wrap it doesn't dry out. Service wise Gina was wonderful and our beverages were great. The ambiance was a bit loud overall. Definitely could have reduced the bass on the music and toned the whole level down a notch. Everything else was great. The place is cute.

Yelp
First visit for brunch...had the shrimp and grits which was amazing! The begneits were to die for. Friend really liked her crab cake benedict. Coffee was perfect. Service was warm and efficient. Only complaint would be the loud noise level and lack of comfortable booth seating. Would only go back on off hours to avoid the noise.

Yelp
This establishment we actually just stumbled into on a rainy day in Philly. I'm so happy we did because the food was so yummy, the service was top notch shout out to our bartender ( Noah ) he went above and beyond with his service and his drinks were to die for. This place is overall a vibe the ambiance is bright fun and free.

Yelp
Was in the area and my friend wanted breakfast/brunch food so we decided on Blondie's. We were greeted and seated right away. It was crowded but not overwhelming. Service was great Food was great Drinks were great too. I'd love to go back.

Yelp
The food was absolutely delicious, and we thoroughly enjoyed all the French toast. The 88-ounce mimosa tower was an exciting challenge. The interior of the restaurant is beautiful, with two different sides on one floor that have their own unique aesthetics. They even have a venue downstairs. Even though they were extremely busy, the service was pretty fast and very courteous. I'll definitely be returning when I'm in Philadelphia again.

Yelp
Stopped through Blondie for a Sunday brunch with family. Love the atmosphere with a nice sized bar to watch the game and enjoy a drink. I can't lie when you get further to the back of the restaurant it gets DARK even during the day time. Either way, I had the crab omelette...whewwwwwww it was amazinggg. It made the whole experience for me. Our server was amazing and we def enjoyed the time. I'll likely be back maybe for happy hour.

Yelp
The food was amazing. It came out quick and was very flavorful. The service was excellent. Staff were super friendly and very attentive. The ambiance was so relax and good vibes for brunch or breakfast with friends or intimate date. There was no wait time, we got seated as soon as we came in, without any reservations
google avatar

Amanda P.

Yelp
Blondie a gem from the decor to the food and friendly staff. Finally made it for brunch and enjoyed that tower mimosa. My shrimp and grits was yummy. The French toast stole the show. I do encourage making a reservation. I've been there for dinner also and it gets packed especially on the weekends but I've been lucky enough to get a table for 3 with respectable waiting time.

Yelp
Amazing food, espresso martini top tier. Very relaxing atmosphere. Our server was awesome, made food recommendations, and was accommodating to all.

Yelp
Okay, lemme just say the AMBIANCE...soooo cuteeee! The service - on point! and the food was really good too! Very filling. I came here with my friend for brunch and we really enjoyed ourselves we said we'll be back for dinner!

Yelp
This past Sunday my friends and I went to Blondie for brunch. The ambiance was really nice. I had the chicken and waffles my friends had the shrimp and grits and the banana waffles with turkey bacon. I did enjoy my meal, but I tried some of my friends shrimp and grits and I promise I will be back for that. It was just right very flavorful. Now the wait for the food did take a little while so I'd advise you to get appetizers if you're coming on and empty stomach. The mimosa flight comes 4 drinks per flight. Street parking wasn't in abundance, but there were plenty of close by lots you have to pay to park in.
google avatar

Stephaney S.

Yelp
The food was super delicious and filling. The short rib had a lot of flavor in that gravy and potatoes! The mocktails are great as well. The service was fantastic there were 14 of us and we had no issues getting everything we ordered. The restaurant was cute I didn't really like where they placed us I felt like we were in the way but the restaurant was cute overall.

Camila M.

Yelp
The waitress was rude and the manager was unprofessional. We were given the wrong menu--their mistake, not ours. We ordered apps, water and like 10 min later mains and drinks. After bringing 2 of the 4 drinks, the waitress casually let us know they wouldn't be serving us the food we ordered because we'd ordered off the wrong menu. No apology. No solution. Just an indifferent "too bad." Rather than order off their happy hour menu (we were very hungry and tired from a long hike) we got up to leave. That's when the manager stepped in--not to fix things, but to demand we pay for drinks we hadn't even received. We said no and walked. If the manager or the waitress had taken an ounce of accountability, we would've gladly paid. Instead, we got blamed for their screw-up. Disorganized. Disrespectful. And not worth a single cent. Avoid this place like the plague.

Yelp
Blondie is a good time for brunch! This was a Birthday Celebration for a Bestie! I love the layout & we had a perfect seat near the windows! Our waitress was fabulous..her personality was just what you want when you are in a celebratory mood! She made great recommendations and was prompt and attentive during our brunch! Our meal selections of the crab omelette; Peach Cobbler French Toast; Egg & Bacon on a Bun and biscuits delivered...We all were pleased with the presentation; flavor and portion size! The cocktails were tasty too! I will definitely be back..I enjoy the vibe/energy of this restaurant!

Yelp
I came here with a couple friends for brunch on a Friday afternoon. When we arrived, there were a couple other tables seated, but it wasn't very busy at the time (I feel this is worth mentioning because I know it *can* get pretty packed). It did get busier by the end of our time there. Our server was good/friendly, and he came over pretty quickly to get our orders. We ordered the mimosa tower and were pleased to find out that they could do the pomegranate flavor for it. It was good, and I felt it was worth the price. Both of my friends ordered the lobster benedict. They liked it, but they weren't "wow'ed." I got the chicken sandwich at the recommendation of the server (I was debating between that and a couple other items), and it was good. I really liked the sauce that it came with, and the chicken was a good portion and was cooked well. I didn't feel like the chicken itself had a lot of flavor, but with the toppings and such, that was fine. The sauce deginitely had a kick to it (which iit is supposed to, but Ive been plenty of places that say a sauce is spicy and then it has very little heat). The fries were really good and not greasy at all. We also ordered the beignets to share, and that was probably the tastiest part of our meals. They came out hot and had dipping sauces with them. There were 3 in the order. We had planned to order the grilled pb & j to share, and I had originally planned to order Peaches and Cream French toast for my entree, but both were removed from the physical menu despite being on the online menu. Same thing with the s'mores martini. It's normal for restaurants to change their menus, but it's a bit of a pet peeve of mine when they don't change their online menus to reflect that, as I always look at menus in advance. I did really enjoy the atmosphere of Blondie. It's a cute and unique setup. Overall, I think Blondie is a bit overpriced for what you get, BUT I still liked it and would come back. And the staff was great.

Yelp
Pros - Nice Modern Chic Look and Furnishing - Friendly and Good Service - Good Cocktails Cons - Very Overpriced - Mediocre Food - Strange Ambiance with Music Very mixed feelings about this place. The theme and ambiance seemed all over the place. The inside has this neat, sophisticated, and retro look, but they were playing this house music like we were in the club? I was impressed with the cocktail list and my drink was great. The server was also very nice and provided good service. The food however left some things to be desired. It was just a little bland and uninspiring, and that's worse coupled with the fact that everything was super expensive. I mean I know it's Manayunk but even for that it's too much. In the end, I can't say I recommend this place for dinner, but I'd say it's worth a stop for a drink.

Yelp
Oh Marlea.... I came into Blondie for the first time and locked eyes with emerald orbs that could save a nation. She was attentive, patient, and warm. I felt sheepish ordering a pornstar marini... and she reluctantly told me that they don't have passionfruit lol. Anyways, she made me a cocktail that tasted like nature's nectar, with a garnish to boot! God did I order 3 more... work hated me the next morning!! Needless to say, Marlea is the BEST bartender I have come across in this town. #BARLEA #PASSIONFRUIT #SHENEEDSARAISE.

Yelp
Easy to book a table. Tasty food & pretty good service. I'd recommend for brunch but it can be a bit noisy.

Yelp
Very nice ambiance and decor with a great music play list. The food is delicious and nice portions. I loved the oversized mozzarella sticks very flavorful. The fried chicken is crispy with a nice balance of salt and sweet from the sparse honey drizzle. The cocktails are overpriced based on serving size. This is a restaurant that I would suggest you try for something new and slightly different. The major drawback is unrelated to the restaurant itself, PARKING! Related to the restaurant, the drink I had and those served to others are costly for 4-5 oz. Would I go back? Yep but I would go to happy hour elsewhere beforehand!

Yelp
Such a great brunch spot with the girls! Espresso martinis were fabulous and the portions were plentiful. Lobster Benedict and bacon egg cheeseburger ! Want to go back and try the mimosa tower!

Yelp
Cute place. Horrible food I wanted to try this place ever since they opened and was so excited when I got the opportunity to check this place out last Sunday! But I was highly disappointed. I think this restaurant would have been nicer if they didn't try to fill it with so many tables. We were sitting in the middle of the second floor very close to the other tables. This restaurant is already big enough it is, I don't believe those extra tables were needed. It also took a while for the server to give us the menu which didn't make sense since I think host should have given it to us OR they should offer a QR option so we're not sitting around waiting. The food also took really long to come out for it to me mediocre. This might be a place for you to visit so that you can check it off the "influencer" list but definitely not a restaurant to come back.

Yelp
My friend made reservations for us to dine here on a Sunday afternoon; it was pouring rain and this place was PACKED. As soon as I walked in the first thing I noticed was the upbeat music (if I recall correctly it was "Get Right" by Jennifer Lopez), so with this song, the crowd, and the decor of the restaurant I was vibing almost instantly. We were immediately seated and the server came over just as I was putting my jacket on the back of my seat. I ordered a Blondie (as a mocktail) and the chicken and waffles; friend ordered pancakes with a side of homefries and a melon mimosa. Our drinks came out quickly. We sat and chatted and maybe about 20 mins later the waiter came and apologized for that wait and said that our food should be coming out shortly. We waited patiently and it finally came out. I was pretty hungry and couldn't wait to dig in but noticed my waffle didn't have any butter on it (neither did friend's pancakes) so I flagged down the waiter and he brought out butter. When I finally took my first bite, the waffle was barely warm (thus the butter did not melt) but the chicken was a good temperature; both had good flavor. As I am typing this review, I realize that my dish was supposed to be served with a beschamel sauce but it was not... My drink was OK; perhaps it tasted better as a cocktail. Overall, I will return and I think this place is definitely worth giving a try but pack your patience if it's crowded because the food will most likely take a while.

Yelp
If you're in Manayunk or Philly go here. Just go. Super cute. Huge place. Street parking and a nearby paid lot. Great service. They take reservations. Great value for money. Pitcher of mimosas easily enough for 3+ people.

Yelp
The best thing may be the music, the ambiance & the servers. The wait for the food was kind of long, but it seems to be the norm these days & my company was great so we were able to look past the wait. The food however was not good at all. I had the lobster benedict & it came with home fries, neither had any taste. It seemed like our food had been sitting, nothing was hot and my eggs were barely runny and the insides were three different textures. There was only a little hollandaise sauce on them. My friend had the stone grits which weren't fully cooked & had no taste either & again there wasn't enough sauce to soften or enhance the taste. Our server, Josie was very pleasant & apologetic. It was no fault of hers. But I doubt i'd ever return.

Yelp
First time eating here today. The restaurant has a really cool layout and interiors... but unfortunately the service is lacking. I came with an admittedly large group of friends (10), but the food took an abnormally long time to come out. I'd expect this to happen for a large group, but what was odd was that some people got their meals about 15 minutes before others. My girlfriend had to wait an extra 10 minutes because they forgot to cook her omelette. Several meals had items missing; two omelettes had some fillings missing and the chicken and waffles didn't come with their béchamel sauce. Our server was missing almost the entire time--most of the food was run by others--so we had little opportunity to ask for updates. The food itself is good. I'll give this place another chance, but I can't help but feel like this experience soured my view of the restaurant.

Yelp
I really would like to like this place more, however our experience was anything but great. We had a reservation for 9 for brunch, walking in we had to wait a few minutes for our table. No big deal, it's a gorgeous space to look at when we almost grabbed a drink at the bar when our table was ready. Seated in a back room, where a second bar is present we were noticeably seated out of the main area. This isn't a big deal, we were a large table however it was quite some time before our server finally came up to. We actually requested water from a staff member casually walking by. A few minutes earlier she has been caught off guard by our sitting and presumably asked the hostess while we were there. Our assigned server finally came over, he had been busy in a little alcove taking care of whatever. Drink orders placed, incredibly weak coffee received, inconsistent cocktails sipped. My friend's Manhattan never looked the same and at one point didn't come with a cherry. My espresso martini was actually delightful however the staff kept calling it a cold brew martini. Our primary issue was with thr food order. Our reservation last over 2 hours (and unable to extend parking in the nearby lot) and we waited and waited and waited for our meals. No updates from the staff or comments left uw wondering when it would come out. At least the cocktails kept coming, with a little prodding. Unfortunately for the food, it came out poorly time, leaving 3 of us without food for 10 mins and only then they trickled out and we had to keep reminding them of each plate that was forgotten and since it was only 3, and 2 orders were the same dish it wasn't that difficult. Disgruntled and left unamazed by the food at this point, the manager begrudgingly came to the table at the urge of a server and later gave us approximately a 20% discount for this experience. If I was a local, I would be extremely disappointed and would not be giving a local recommendation. As a visitor, if exploring the area upon a future visit I would give them another chance.

Yelp
Not sure why so much hate on this place! Although some of my friends have experienced poor service. Maybe because they are facing staffing challenges or maybe because they are new and overwhelmed with crowds, post influencer visits. We were lucky enough to walk in and get seated immediately on a Thursday night with no reservations, ordered 2 cocktails and the Brussel sprouts to start of with. The Brussel sprouts were perfect! For mains we got a chicken sandwich and the black bean burger. Both were great, portion size of just right and they were happy to upgrade the fries to park Fries. Ambience is superb with a wrap around bar and the aesthetics were charming. The only reason it did not get 5/5 is that the menu could have a little more diversity. Maybe I will try their Brunch next time. Do give it a try !

Yelp
We stopped here for a few drinks after going to another bar first. My husband and I both wanted the same drink the smoke show. We usually end up wanting the same drinks. I let him get it and I got the pumpkin spice latte drink. The pumpkin drink was pretty tasty and I liked that they used fresh cold brew coffee in it. It could have used a little more alcohol or different types of alcohol though to give it a little more kick. I enjoyed my husband's cocktail as well. The food looked good but we had already ate so maybe we'll get food next time.

Yelp
This place was so cute and cosy, I can't believe it's my first time here. I met a girlfriend for brunch on a Sunday afternoon and it was a fantastic experience! Staff was welcoming and the food was pretty tasty. My friend didn't like her drink with the sprinkles (way way too sweet for her) and our server was super understanding. The menu had options but not too extensive, which is a good thing in my opinion. It's a very mixed crowd and black people friendly, I definitely recommend for groups, a date, or even solo!

Yelp
I went to blondie with a large group for a friends birthday brunch and I was extremely pleased with the active and helpful service we received and the speed of the food and drinks despite it being prime time Saturday brunch and we were a large group! The seasonal mimosa flight was amazing and I'm still talking about the vanilla mimosa that was apart of it!

Yelp
We brought a party of 13 for dinner on Saturday. Food, drinks and service were all excellent. Great music in the background but not too loud for conversation. Everyone enjoyed!

Yelp
Blondie is the hottest new restaurant in Manayunk so I had to check it out for girls night. I was only able to get a 6pm reservation sadly so I would definitely recommend making a reservation at least a week or so in advance if you like eating later like me. As soon as I walked in I noticed the bar and how lively it was. The decor and ambiance along with the choice of music playing was such a vibe. I absolutely loved it. I didn't realize how BIG the restaurant was with multiple bars and seating areas. I started with the Far East marg that was garnished with lychee (my fave fruit) and it was good and strong. We got the crispy brussel sprouts to start which was absolutely delicious, perfectly caramelized and crispy. I had the salmon as my entree which was just okay tbh, nothing special. I got a 2nd and 3rd drink both of which was The Blondie (ofc I had to try the signature drink) and it was so pretty. It was refreshing and I loved it. All the drinks on the menu look very good so next time I go back I will def be switching it up. The service was great for it being so busy. We didn't feel rushed by the servers which was great for girls nights as we sat there and talked for 2.5 hours ofc with the drinks flowing. It's def a great date night spot for your next outing!
