The 11 Best Restaurants In Leyton & Leytonstone - London - The Infatuation

"This brewery is, frankly, a bit of a goth. And we are so here for it. Inside, there’s a deceptively large, broody, industrial-feel beer hall set for games of pool and admiring a tribute to everyone’s favourite party boy, the grim reaper, but we like Blondies’ outdoor terrace best. Especially because it taught us that Biffy Clyro and natural wine is a formidable combination. Hit up the pizzeria hut for an expertly chewy San Marzano tomato-topped margherita." - heidi lauth beasley

The 15 Best Breweries In London - London - The Infatuation

"If you ever had a phase as a teenager that caused your parents to place a ban on budget black hair dye from the family bathroom, then chances are you’ll be very into Blondies Brewery. It’s all very punk. If, of course, your idea of punk involves sipping craft rhubarb stout or a glass of honey-sweet orange wine in a sea of Dr. Martens Athena sandals. Inside, there’s an industrial-feel beer hall set for gigs or a flirt-coded game of pool, but really you want to be sat outside on the long picnic benches with soft emo anthems playing, a group that keeps on growing, and pints of Blondies lager that don’t stop flowing." - jake missing, sinead cranna, heidi lauth beasley

Blondies Brewery - Review - Leyton - London - The Infatuation

"If you ever had a phase as a teenager that caused your parents to place a ban on budget black hair dye from the family bathroom, chances are you’ll be very into Blondies Brewery. It’s Leyton’s very own micro-slice of Reading Festival, only much more ‘night one sun worship and beer-soaked bonding sessions’ than ‘Sunday night arsonist apocalypse’. Inside, there’s a deceptively large, industrial-feel beer hall set for gigs or a flirt-coded game of pool, but really you want to be sat outside on the long picnic benches with soft emo anthems playing, a group that keeps on growing, and pints of local lager that don’t stop flowing. The outdoor terrace also has a pizzeria hut that’s less urgent stomach-liner and more must-order margherita situation, so purposefully rock up hungry and ready to order. Food Rundown The food at Blondies Brewery is by Scando’s Pizzeria, their on-site pizza hut. The Spicy Burrata Garlic Knots A hot highlight for anyone whose favourite cuisine is ‘bread and dippy bits’. It’s effectively a deconstructed pizza, complete with a sweet kiss of honey and the kind of potent garlic levels we always approve of. photo credit: Heidi Lauth Beasley Margherita Oh ye of little brewery food faith. That’s what we said to ourselves during our first bite of this expertly chewy, zingy San Marzano tomato sauce pizza. The pots of tear-your-own basil on every table is also a very casual way to make us fall in love big time. photo credit: Heidi Lauth Beasley" - Heidi Lauth Beasley

They have pizza and a Jamaican food van and had a fantastic brunch pop up. Read frozen marg and selection of craft beers. Staff are some of the friendliest in London. Great rock music and sometimes have gigs. I'm just sad I hadn't found this place earlier!

We were really chuffed when this place opened as it's very local to us and we loved the original place in Clapton. Usually it's a great place to go that does good pizza. But too often the bar staff seem to act like they're too cool to serve you. Just this weekend we were waiting for almost 10 minutes at the bar when it wasn't even busy. One of the staff was serving another customer, whilst three other bar staff were just having a chat behind the bar and ignoring us. It was like we were invisible! I think one of them was one of the owners. We felt so unwelcome that we just walked out in the end. Such a shame.

Love this place, lovely, lovely people. Very good beer. Outdoor space too, snooker tables. Lovely coffees and pastry’s too. Life music etc…. If in this area you must pop in.

It’s a very nice tap room, I guess in the summer it’s even better, because the place hasn’t got heating so it was cold. The craft beers were really good, some of them are produced by them. The only downside is that beers are served very cold, almost freezing so it takes a lot to enjoy them. Prices are good and the staff is friendly.
