Great chill spot, reasonable prices. Fish tacos were good, the team did a good job carding people to stay compliant. I loved sitting at the entrance inside and outside and just people watch for hours, super relaxing. There was one bartender in particular that stood out….i think her name was Andrea was super chill, she was super proactive with all the customers, and made herself very approachable, smiled and made eye contact with everyone, spoke to people not just about food and drinks. On a personal level, she was THE prettiest girl I saw in Florida! I was there last week for a few days on business travel (found some good deals down in Miami n Coco beach🥳)…. I just wish she was working on my last day (Sunday) so I could have kept in touch with her…

The Carne Asada tacos & margaritas here are really good 👍 My husband and I tried this place for the first time while on vacation. Great atmosphere and friendly staff 👍They had fun trivia games for shots and a dj going on as well during our visit here which was fun!

Matt Dough is the BEST!! I literally fly out of state just to see him at Blondies in Fort Lauderdale. He’s always so cheerful, welcoming, and full of positive energy — his customer service and care are truly phenomenal. Matt is super personable and makes every visit feel special. On top of that, he makes amazing drinks, and his service is always quick and efficient — you never have to wait long, and he always gets it right. I’ve recommended him to so many people from my home state and beyond, and they all love him just as much as I do. If you’re in Fort Lauderdale — or even if you’re not — Matt is 100% worth the trip. Trust me, you won’t be disappointed! Food is amazing and this is the place to be! I have been coming for years! Thank you Matt for always taking care of me and all of my friends!! I also LOVE that you can play pool!

Rain was very rude and didn’t greet us. The new bartenders are not kind what soooooo ever. I used to come to this place all the time and now it’s ruined by new crappy bartenders. Management has changed and it really shows. Never come to this place unless you want someone to spit in your drink. Jamie is amazing as always

The waitress Andrea was A-MAZING! Me and my boyfriend went to two bars before this one and they were horrible ( one being Señor Frogs) she was so amazing and attentive. My first time going there and we will definitely be going back!

Male bartender became very aggressive, stole our money and didn't gave us the drinks we paid for. He made the whole experience in the place horrible, should get fired. He put his hands on my neck, definitely will call the police on him.

Blondies is not only my favorite bar in Fort Lauderdale, it's one of my favorite bars in the country. Whether you are sitting outside people watching or inside shooting darts, it's just the perfect beach side vibe. My friends from all over love coming down to Fort Lauderdale to check out Blondies. If you like beach bars, games, great atmospheres, Blondies is the spot.

Blondies is on the backside of the main strip of bars on A1A so it is less than a block away. Even being that close, the prices are much more reasonable than the strip. Brianna is a power house machine. She was bartending alone (was here on a Wednesday night) and didn't miss a beat. It was busy and she acknowledged us right away. She checked on everyone frequently and got us drinks when she noticed we were getting low. They offer food later than everyone else around. The wings were great and their HOUSE SAUCE is phenomenal!!

Do NOT ever go here. Was here 0705/25 and spent o ver $200 in drinks. Had fun. Come closing time I was trying to tip out the sweet bartender who had been serving us all night. Apparently they were closing - which is fine - but some behemoth of a bouncer out his hands around MY NECK and kicked me out as I was trying to tip my bartender. Never got the part drink I paid for but like whatever. Just don't choke me and tell me to go. Been to a million bars in my life. Never ONCE written a review so I hope that says a lot and no one goes here. The sweet bartenders should go work elsewhere.these people are messing up their tips. And to be honest I should have called the cops for placing their hands on my neck Big spender 0/10, will not be.

This bar would be a 5 for those that like smoking at the bar, love playing pool and other bar games. Not so much for people who are allergic to smoke. The bar food is pretty good.

Deserves all the low stars it gets. Bartenders barely recognize you, you wait over an hour for basic french fries and expect amazing tip. Fun when on a bar crawl- but grab your drink and leave - no point or fun in staying.

If you're looking for a nice vibe with great music and good food. Go to Blondies! The Dj played all the latest hits from south Florida. The food was your basic finger food but it was cooked to perfection. The bartender was very attentive and friendly. I will definitely return. Ohhh and I forgot to mention they have a lot of different arcade games and activities to do. Definitely a fun spot for a friend group and date night.

Local landmark, if I do say so myself. Not really a locals type of place...but it is worth a visit. Service is usually awesome and the patio view is 100% awesome. It is a "college" aged crowd most days and a little rowdy, but it is always enjoyable. Stop in and have a drink if you're in the area, I always try to support local businesses and if they have a good stock of liquor I am even more enamored with to prospect!

I would like to start off and say if you're looking for a dive bear by the beach with pool tables and decent drink specials this is the place! Food is decent as well.

Fun bar to have a drink and shoot darts! All the employees here were nice to us. The drinks were good too. We came here during the day to have a drink and it wasn't super busy which was perfect for us as we got to play darts. We had a lot of fun and you can select the kind of music you want through an electronic juke box. Definitely coming back when I'm in town.

We were in fort lauderdale for 8 days starting September 26, 2024 and visited several times during our stay. Perfect location on the beach for a cold beverage on a hot day! Thank you to Rayne and Nella for the great drinks and conversation! We will definetly be back !! Brian & Nicole

My daughter and i were on our first mother/ daughter adult trip and came to Ft. Lauderdale a day early to go on a cruise. It was Sunday and we wanted to watch the Bengals play. We like low keyed fun places and chose Blondies based on reviews and the fact that it had an ocean view. It was perfect! Michelle was our server and she was awesome, and attentive despite the fact that it was quite busy. It was a relaxed and fun atmosphere. The food is simple bar food which we spaced out during the game. The food is not spectacular, but that is good and not why you come there. Would definitely come back.

If your into dive bars THIS is one of the best. Chill vibe, reasonably price drinks, view of the beach..what else could you ask for! They have Pool tables and Ring the Bull game (some ppl just call it the Ring game). Good music and they even show sporting events on the TVs by the front bar. Great place to day drink or kick your night off right.

Came last night with a group for fantasy football pretty slow.. the back bartender was impeccable I think her name was Rihanna or Brianna, couldn't quite hear cause the music was loud.. she accommodated my group to a T she was on top of makin sure we liked everything and one of my buddies doesn't drink so she made himm a mocktale.. anyways, pretty cool dive bar Will be back again to see her

Blondies is more of a sports bar compared to a dive bar. They have darts, air hockey, pool tables, and some other games in the back. The service was great. The security man was extremely helpful with resetting our darts game. The drinks were cold and perfect for this heat!

Came here for the Florida Panthers Stanley Cup parade and had a great time. Really cool sports bar with a great atmosphere. Very divey. Service was friendly and fast.

yo, this bar is so not guest forward. The bartenders and jaded up front. the back bar bartender was incredible. There was a guy who claimed he would "knock her out" to my wife. This place really needs to assess how they treat guests. An absolute horrific experience. Stay away, and do yourself a favor.

Welcome to a classic dive bar! Drink specials, pool tables, and beach views you can't really go wrong. I would say there is a few different vibes to this place. If you enter from A1A beach side, you enter into a long bar area that is good for just grabbing a drink and hanging around. Keep walking towards the back entrance and you are met with some classic arcade/bar games like air hockey, a small putting green and a few other odds and ends. Something to keep you entertained. If you keep walking, there are a bunch of pool tables to enjoy. $2 and quarters only, but there is a change machine just have some cash on hand. I will say it's a bit Smokey inside. Apparently smoking indoors is still a thing? If you're drinking and on the beach and just want to hang out it's a good time, but don't go making any special trips.

Blondies disguises itself pretty well. It's quite easy to miss when strolling the streets by the beach especially during lunch hour. The pub restaurant is equipped with pool tables and arcade like games as well to help you pass the time. The bar table is long and the place is sort of dark. I was here for lunch and was impressed with the simple menu of finger foods offered. I had the fish tacos that were amazing! The fish tacos were fresh and delicious. If you love cheese get the cheese fries with bacon, the amount of cheese they mix in with the fries was insane!! The chicken tenders were pretty darn good too. I know this is a touristy area but the prices were so reasonable here. Service was top notch as our bar maid was super Awesome. There's a saying that goes "Blondes have more fun" If that's true, Blondies definitely fits that bill!

I hate that smoking is allowed indoors, I will not return. Prices kinda high imo, not a fan. They have darts, pool tables, a punch and kick machine. Older looking sports bar. Could be a cool spot, I just cannot do smoking. Service was fine today didn't have an issue, but could be a little better and more personable.

First time in ft.lauderdale and by far my favorite bar except one bartender had an attitude problem but thank goodness this other gem of a bartender named Halaina was absolutely amazing.. make sure you see her for drinks.

We made the mistake of asking the bartender Karen aka Holly for gold fish. In addition to the request for gold fish, we were also going to order two drinks but the gold fish request triggered snowflake Holly and she literally walked away and refused to take our order. Needless to say, we didn't get the gold fish either. This use to be a super fun beach bar. Not anymore!

You can't go to Fort Lauderdale Beach without going to Blondies -- an iconic bar that has been the scene for many drunken and beachgoing excursions for more than 15 years. It doesn't matter how long I go in-between visits; you can depend on Blondies to be the scene for a good time with friends over a few drinks. I remember the first time I set foot in Blondies in my mid-20s... (showing my age) I went with a couple of friends who were visiting from Florida. After starting at Elbo Room, we made our way over to Blondies, where we knocked back vodka & tonic and cheap beer for... well, cheap. The vibes were very "come as you are" -- which they should be as they are literally across the street from the beach and the Atlantic Ocean. Since that first visit, they've always been dependable if you're looking to hit up a couple of bars on the beach without care or concern. They have two bars, an o-shaped one as you enter and another at the rear by the back entrance, which you'll find more shelf spirits should you be looking for something more premium than "well" liquor. While the space at the front of Blondies is narrow, the back is more open up, with pool tables, basketball arcade games, and other types of activities to keep your mind busy as you come buzzed. Blondies is a fun spot to go when you're there for a beach day or corraling at night. More than 15 years later, it's still a dependable bar to go with friends or on your own.

Everything you want in a dive bar; a grungy, dark interior, lots of bar space, great bartenders, games & worn pool tables! A totally cool hang out joint! The sticky floor and long bar kinda reminds me of The Button, a lost icon of the Lauderdale strip, but with pool tables and games! You just got a love the fact that the pool tables closest to the bar are completely stained with spilled beers and no one cares and plays on them anyway! That's because no one is really competing here, just hanging out and having fun. It's centrally located along the active part of Lauderdale strip. Only a few doors down from the Rock Bar, which now doesn't have pool tables anyway so you need to come here. Not as famous as the Elbo Room at the corner of the same block, but a must "go to bar" when visiting the strip! Highly recommended when going to the Fort Lauderdale strip to hang out! You can bounce back-and-forth between here and the Elbo Room as they are a stones throw away from one another.

Cute little bar across the beach with seating outside and inside. The seating inside was a bit odd and the further you walked towards the back the darker it got and it felt a little crowded even though it was not crowded with people. My friend and I were greeted by a very bubbly bartender Holly. She was awesome made conversation with us, checked in us and even offered to let us try the Malibu beer. We kept asking her questions because we were very curious about it and she was kind enough to let us try it. That made us want to stay longer and order 2 more drinks. Other than the layout it was a chill bar with good people. If I'm ever in town I will come here again for sure.

I always have a good experience at blondies. Today that changed. I ordered food that was clearly microwaved. I am not sure whose working in that kitchen, but that was truly and honestly disgusting! The cheese was dry and the fries were hard and disgusting! I am truly disappointed and will not order that again! Please do it better! There is no reason for that!

Gave it a try... bartenders aren't interested in serving customers...more interested in joking and drinking. Don't waste your cash!!! Do better Blondies! It's really not that hard... and if it is then find another business to invest in.

A decent dive bar. Very long rectangular bar with pool tables and arcade games in the back. Some locals and a few tourists lined the bar. Bartender was friendly and attentive. They have a limited menu of bar bites (no soft pretzels?!?). We ate chicken tenders that were good enough for bar food, served with honey mustard. Smoking was permitted at the bar

The bartenders name was Hayley. Was checking to see if anyone else had an unprofessional experience with her and multiple people have left bad reviews about her. She ruins the Blondies atmosphere and isn't tough until her regulars get there how lame. By the way everyone who's talking about the blonde, yes this is her.

I absolutely love this bar. It's been in Fort Lauderdale for a very long time. It's very laid-back and chilled, there's lots of arcades to play. The staff is extremely friendly, and the drinks are strong. Holly, our bartender was phenomenal.

2 bartenders at front bar is complete incompetence. They serve regulars over anybody else and chit chat. Super cool place and location. Go to the back bar by the pool tables to get a drink. Front bar probably had over 200 people due to a football game in the area, but only two bartenders.

I have been coming to this bar for 15 years. Always fun, meet with friends most weekends here over a bucket of beer. Last weekend, the price of beers was raised 40% for buckets. Crazy. Used to be a place that valued locals, now transitioning to a yuppie tourist trap. Like losing a good friend, but time to go and find a new place to drink on Saturday afternoons.

Bloodies is a good time as a last resort. Haha. Came here on a rainy day and actually had the best time. the bartenders are a staple, fast and make good drinks. i must say the games itself are a worn down but i broke all of the darts. so you can blame that on me, couldn't even get a bullseye.

Wanted to start this off saying I've never left a bad review in my life. Also wanted to disclaim that I love blondies and have been coming here for years. It's a great location with good deals. However, tonight myself, my boyfriend, and a friend of ours stopped in to grab a beer bucket and sit at an outside table around sunset time. We walked to the big bar and approached the bartender about a beer bucket. We asked if mix and match was a possibility which she agreed to. Upon ordering we asked for "two Budweisers, two bud lights, and two Heinekens" when she loudly interrupted screaming "that's not a f*****g domestic" while what seemed to be drunkenly swaying around. She then turned around and completely ignored us. After finally regaining her attention, she rudely took our order that we quickly modified to fit her needs as we didn't want to bother her any further. We then left a one dollar tip on the bar, shocking because we shouldn't have tipped at all. However as my boyfriend and I are both bartender/ servers in the Fort Lauderdale beach area, we felt at least a one dollar tip was appropriate. We took our bucket and went outside. Not five minutes later said RUDE bartender came to our table, threw the dollar at us at which point my boyfriend tossed it back in her direction causing her to... grab the back of his hair, twist it up, and hit him twice in the face exclaiming we should never leave a crumpled one dollar tip. Like I said before, I love this bar and go often. Unfortunately after tonight we will never return and I genuinely hope this woman is fired and dealt with accordingly. Disgusting.

I had been to this bar roughly a dozen or two dozen times, always had a good time. Went to this bar on Halloween night later in the night. I walk in and the new bartender Tiara was working. I said hello, asked for a Yuenling. The initial conversation was perfect. She came back, give me my Yuenling. I handed her a $20 bill. She walked to the register and was ringing me up. My order was the only order at that time (there were only about 8 total patrons at the back bar at that time), and despite that she spent about 3 minutes hitting buttons on the register. She never came and gave me the change. After about 10 minutes I walked down to the other side of the bar where she had been and politely asked about my change. She claimed that I never paid her. I told her I gave her a twenty (in a polite and mild manner way) and she called the bouncer over. I politely told him what happened and he said he would "jump over the counter" to attack me. Right around this time Tiara decided to give me my money back, and slammed down a $20 bill and said " here you go, motherfucker". The bouncer with the man bun was still in my face. I said "since you insisted I never paid, he's my payment for the beer". I left the $20 bill Tiara slammed down PLUS another $6 because she claimed I never paid. I left, went to Rock Bar, and three of the patrons who were present at Blondies when this fiasco happened had come to Rock Bar and told me they witnessed the entire thing. All three told me they personally saw me hand Tiara the $20. The loser man bun bouncer also came to Rock Bar. He saw me, and like the coward he is, refused to make eye contact. I''m 6', a muscular 240lbs, and a military vet. Maybe your idiot 23 year old man bun bouncer should learn how to pick his fights. Used to love Blondies, but now I'll never come back. Fire the thieve Tiara (who is also probably stealing from the owners) and stick to Holly, her service was great. I spent $26 on ONE YUENGLING at your bar!

If I could give zero stars I would. The male bartender at the main bar was a PRICK. I went to the back bar and the female bartender was nice and I tipped he 75%m.. meanwhile We also had a dog and my husband sat outside and asked the bouncer if we could order a beer from the bar and set outside. He said no. My husband bought a beer from a place next door and sat outside the bar as he was waiting for me The bouncer made him eave. The bouncer was dispicable. A sorry excuse for "human being". Not only did his bar not make money from my husband and now we will never return. WTH shit hole bat

Cool bar. Cheap drinks, lots of games in the back, casual vibe. Wish they didn't allow cigarette smoking here. I can't stand the smoke. It makes it hard to breathe, and made me change my mind about ordering food here.

Typical local dive bar right on Fort Lauderdale beach! Drink prices are pretty average and they do have a wide assortment of draft and bottled beer. Warning: You are allowed to smoke inside, so it might not be the best place for everyone! I would recommend sitting outside because it did get really arm inside (especially with it being the summer). It's basically just one long bar that goes all the way to the back of the building, with some tables out front. The staff was friendly and attentive and they have a bunch of TVs you can watch sports games, etc. on.

First let me say my biggest mistake was coming to this bar , There was a drunk guy behind the bar with a staff shirt on that was rude as hell and asked me for my ID when I asked him where the bathroom was even though I had already been served and was sitting at the bar with my boyfriend . ... mind you there are no stalls no sink and just toilets in a room . It's dirty and not at all what the reviews here say . Yes they are cheap but you get what you pay for . Sad because the girl bartender was super nice , she should find another bar to bartend at . DONT GO HERE !! TRASHY!!!!

Little bit grimy but still a go to dive bar for most of my local friends. We love coming here to shoot a little pool, grab drinks and play some good music. They have a couple arcade games and a very low key vibe. Service isn't exceptional but expected as it is a hole in the wall dive bar.

Came into this not so little dive bar in seek of one thing. Air conditioning. Ice cold AC on a hot summer night? Yes please. It was pretty slow for a Saturday but I still had a good time getting a few beers here. The price is right and there is arcade games and pool tables in the back of this narrow but very long bar. Service was friendly. And the beer, like the air conditioner, was ice cold.
