Bloodsports is your new late-night Covent Garden haven for binge-watching sports, indulging in buffalo chicken tenders, and sipping crafty cocktails amidst friendly vibes.
"Have you ever thought to yourself, I’d love to hate-watch a Liverpool game, maybe watch a horror movie, all while eating buffalo sauce-drenched chicken tenders? Well at Bloodsports, a late-night Covent Garden sports bar from the people behind Meatliquor, you absolutely can." - team infatuation
"You’re never in any danger of missing a goal at Bloodsports because at this American sports bar in Covent Garden, there’s even a plasma in the bogs. A subterranean bachelor pad with no fewer than 30 screens, this bar from the Meatliquor team is a more than serviceable place to hang out and watch a game. If you’re with a mate, pitch up at one of the counters with a basket of decent buffalo wings. Arsenal stinking the place out again? Shift your eyeballs an inch and see Spurs concede a second. Almost every inch of wall in this place is taken up by a screen and after full time, classic horror movies play until 2am. There’s also a pool table where some of central London’s trendier cohort take residence alongside frozen margaritas. It isn’t gritty and feels a little contrived, but it’s very useful to have in Covent Garden. Food Rundown photo credit: Jake Missing Dead Hippie Burger Although it’s a double patty, this burger feels like it’s edging towards being a bit dearly priced given some other smashburgers in London. It’s still a well-balanced burger though, and we like how generous they are with the pickles. video credit: Jake Missing Garlicky Fries Get these away from us, for the sake of our health. These fries have been mixed with garlic butter and topped with crunchy parmesan bits, crispy onions, and some dried parsley for greenness. Buffalo Wings These aren’t the crispiest, or as violently saucy as we’d like our buffalo wings, but they’re alright." - Jake Missing
