I recently had the pleasure of dining at Bloombar ATL, and it was an unforgettable experience. The food was absolutely delicious and bursting with flavor, rich culinary traditions of Africa. The cocktails were amazing, and perfect to complement the meal. The staff were exceptional—polite and attentive, making us feel truly welcomed. The ambiance of the restaurant, with beautiful decor and a lively vibe was everything oh and can't forget about the music. Update*** I returned and had great service and food. Management and staff hooked me up with a special. The food was quite delicious, drinks even better. I appreciate staff willing to adjust things for an enhanced experience. 02/21 - Review I want to love everything about The Bloom Bar but I have mixed feelings. I had a great evening attending a Galantines event for a ladies social club on 2/13 and it was a vibe. I didn’t eat (just drank) so I can’t rate the food, but the ambience was nice (a bit cramped for the social mixer with the tables and chairs). My 2nd time at this restaurant was 2/22. I had a reservation for a party of two, but when we got there the whole restaurant was booked out for a private party. Cool, but why have the reservations open to book same day? The hostess mentioned they canceled all reservations for the evening but I can attest there was no communication on my end around the cancellation. That actually made me a bit sour and prompted me to write this review. Beautiful ambience but I’d really love to experience the food. With better logistics and communications, I would’ve let it slide but I was already there at the door (bummer). Willing to update this review once I can actually make it in to dine.

I arrived an hour before my party of eight so I sat at the bar and another patron suggested the spring rolls while I waited. Delicious. Once my party arrived we were seated immediately. Everyone enjoyed their meals. Some suggestions are lamb chops, Oxtail, ribs and all three spring rolls on the menu. Once we finished our meal we sat on the patio for those that wanted to do hookah. Everyone on staff I encountered was very pleasant. Before I realized it I had spent almost 6 hours at this establishment. A great time was had by all!

We ate our food, the food was about a 4/10. Drinks were good and music was nice, I won’t lie. A lady came out after we were finished our meal with complimentary shots and then told my friend that they will be bringing the bill. When the bill came we were ALL charged the exact amount that even though they told us that it was on the house. It wasn’t until we complained again that they decided to discount the bill. I feel like the night was a complete waste especially since I returned from out of town expecting a recovery service on the house since that’s what we were promised. I am very disappointed in bloom bar and will not be returning. If they invite you out for a recovery service, do not accept as they will not stick to their word. I would not recommend this place to anybody who is expecting honesty and a good meal.

If the devil is in the details then Bloom is sinfully amazing. You will commit gluttony because the food is so good and the portions are just right . I can honestly say this is among the best African food in the city. The decor is great (floral arrangements on the ceiling, a sizeable patio, and super clean bathrooms), Bloom has vibes upon vibes mixed with great service. Bria was my server. She was super friendly, very knowledgeable about the menu (one would think that is a given, but it really isn't) and her recommendations were spot on. I really appreciate her clear love for the restaurant. Ask for her when you go. Food: the rib appetizer is delicious. Yes, yes, and yes! We had the hen entree- wow- which comes with a salad and rice. You will need a to go bag. We also had the seafood rice. The flavor popped on every dish. Dinner was topped off with some celebratory large slice of cake. Bonus: this was a birthday dinner. They provided a complimentary glass of champagne. Drinks: I love cocktails and they actually have a robust set of options that taste like the bartender is a real mixologist. Yummy. Parking: free (for now). 10/10 experience. If you are looking for great African- WEST African food- Bloom Bar is the place to go and Bria is the server to have.

Let’s start with the atmosphere - this place is soooo beautiful, I was so in awe of how beautiful this place is on the inside! The location is not that bad. Parking is small, it was free up until 9, then it was $20 for valet. Parking is behind the building which I ddnt care for especially if your intention is to leave after dark but the they do have lighting so just be careful! Our waitress, she was very nice, she did a great job! The have outside seating, patio, which is beautiful and they have hookahs but u could only use outside, no problem with that! The outside is beautiful as well. The atmosyis definitely a 10! Definitely great for a date night. They had a DJ played some great music! The menu there was not a lot of options, prices was very reasonable! The salmon was great in taste but well you will see, smh! I was disappointed it is more like an appetizer but it defeated really good jus the plating I felt something was missing, my friend had oxtails and she tore them up, you hear me lol, they looked good she said they were really tasteful! The joloif rice was good as well, she gave me some with my salmon and it was really good with it! My other friend had the lamb chops and she said they were good as well. Her plate look like it was missing something. Maybe the idea was not to get you full just to get you started for your night out. I don’t know, but the plating definitely needs work! Now this is just MY opinion! The drinks alright. But overall I give it a 5, I would definitely be back and I highly recommend!

We decided to try Bloombar for a girls night out and to celebrate a couple birthdays....and it was the PERFECT choice!! The decor is gorgeous, atmosphere was a vibe, the food was so delicious and service was impeccable! Our server Bria was very welcoming & served us with a constant smile on her face! She even got the chef to comp a dessert for our table! We got to try a little of everything appetizers I especially enjoyed the salmon escovitch & prawns. We also ordered the Branzino, Cauliflower Curry and the Seafood Fried Rice...it was all cooked to perfection. Bloombar has only been open a couple months so definitely go support this restaurant and ask for Bria, you won't regret it!

The Spicy Fried Rice and the Harbor Bowl, and both were absolutely delicious! Highly recommend both dishes if you’re looking for something flavorful and satisfying!

This spot was okay. Nothing major. I was around the area and I stopped in for a drink. Depending on what type of night it is, there'll be more people on the outside patio, everything on the inside. And when I say more I mean substantially more people. I didn't try any food, just had beverage, so I can't rate that. Aside from being kind of slow, the bartender situation was okay. It shouldn't have been super slow because it was a nice night outside so everybody was out there so the ball on the inside was basically empty. Wasn't sure why there was a wait time to get somebody to have a conversation about ordering but it is what it is. Again, it was just a basic bar that had a patio in the area. So if you're looking for ambience, that'd be what this is for.
