Really disappointed with my experience at Bloom Cafe in Roseville. I paid for a breakfast burrito and what I got was basically just potatoes with one tiny piece of bacon—no eggs at all. I went to the front and let the blonde girl working around 12pm, and she told me the egg pieces were just “really tiny.” I told her I had opened up the burrito and there were literally no eggs inside. After asking twice, they agreed to remake it. What they brought out was a flimsy burrito with barely anything in it—and it was filled with cheese, even though I specifically said no cheese, no dairy when I ordered. It felt like they didn’t care about getting it right. Definitely not worth the price. I won’t be coming back.

Love the oatmilk cappuccinos here, talented and beautiful coffee professionals, highly recommend! My man Drew introduced me to this great spot.

Love it here. Cozy vibe, good coffee, good food, and they let my dog in with me. The oatmeal didn’t impress and it’s a bit difficult to find a spot but that just means it’s popular!! :)

Bloom to the rescue! I was a barista in the 90’s when Starbucks was just a baby. That said, I had just recently mentioned how SB ruined the 90’s cafe culture and how much I missed what it used to be. Then, in the midst of a crises situation that left me in a sad place, Bloom coffee came to the rescue as a ray of hope and a happy place to call home while I sip my delicious espresso drink. If you miss the 90’s cafe culture like I did, or need a cozy atmosphere with a great vibe, check out Bloom coffee! ☕️💕

Great place. Fast service. They have seats inside and outside. It is a really nice and quiet area that is hidden from the road. During some hours of the day can be really busy. The food is yammy and great quality. Definitely recommend.

From the moment you step in, Bloom Coffee & Kitchen offers a warm, inviting atmosphere that makes you feel right at home. The space is thoughtfully designed with a modern yet cozy vibe, making it an ideal spot for everything from a casual coffee break to a productive work session. Coffee & Menu: The coffee here is a standout—expertly brewed with rich, nuanced flavors that showcase their commitment to quality. Whether you’re after a bold espresso or a creamy latte, each cup feels like a work of art. Pair your drink with one of their fresh, delectable baked goods or a light meal, and you’ve got the perfect start to your day.

Google
I always feel obligated to leave a review when a spot has the respect enough for the coffee to offer pour overs. They have an unassuming and unique menu of breakfast choices , they open pretty early and have a very welcoming and comfortable feel. The breakfast sandwich I ordered was on point. The spot to stop for breakfast if you’re around, I will have to stop in for lunch sometime!

Google
Staff is friendly and the service was quick. Coffee good. The space is small inside but there is outdoor seating. Free wifi. I must have went on a busy weekend, the atmosphere wasn't the best for studying. But other than that a good local coffee shop.

Yelp
Was looking for a cup of matcha prior to heading to a client site and bloom was close, so I stopped in. This coffee really embraces the natural wood and white effect in its decor. They offer a pretty stripped down approach to coffee, but luckily they still offer traditional matcha. I was able to watch the barista whisk my matcha into frothy perfection. They did have a few pastry options as well as some canned kombucha too!

Yelp
Bloom Coffee & Kitchen: A Hidden Gem (and a Front-Row Seat to Life's Little Theater) Nestled away in a sleepy Roseville development, Bloom Coffee & Kitchen is a tiny little spot that packs a big punch. But don't let the modest size fool you--this place offers more than just coffee! For starters, the people-watching is pure gold. We were convinced we spotted a thruple having a casual Sunday coffee date. And hey, who can judge? That's just how diverse the scene is at Bloom! Seating is limited inside (we're talking cozy-close), but the outdoor space is where it's at. Shoutout to the supermom who brought her toddler's trike--ingenious! While her little one zoomed around, she sipped her coffee in peace. We love a place with room to roam! Now, onto the goods. Hubby went all-in with the daily special: chicken street tacos (a bold choice for brunch) and his go-to mocha. Meanwhile, I ordered the carnivore omelette with a vanilla latte because, sometimes, you just need all the protein with a splash of sweet. Here's how we rated it all: * Coffee: 4 (both of us agreed Bloom does it right). * Food: Another 4 for each--hearty and satisfying. * Staff: Hubby says 4, but I say 5 because they were friendly with a side of fabulous. * People-watching: No contest--a solid 5 from both of us. * Ambiance: Hubby was charmed enough to give it a 5, while I rated it a more realistic 3.5. (A little too cozy inside for my taste and what happens when it rains?) Oh, and the rummy game? It was another nail-biter. Hubby finished with 230 points to my victorious 240! So, if you're looking for a quirky little coffee spot with solid drinks, good food, and an eclectic crowd, Bloom Coffee & Tea is your place. Just don't forget your deck of cards!

Yelp
A couple of months ago, my husband and I were in the Roseville area returning medical equipment, when we needed a place to rest and snack while we waited for traffic heading back to the Bay Area to die down. I searched on Yelp and saw that Bloom Coffee & Kitchen had great reviews, so we made the relatively short drive over. The ambiance gave the usual cozy coffee shop vibe. The noise level is about average due to the various machines staff were using to prepare drinks and the chatter of some patrons. It didn't, however, disturb many of us working on our computers there though. The service we had was pretty good. Majority of the staff that we interacted with were fairly friendly. I really liked how the staff brought our quesadilla to us once it was prepared. It gave me more time to focus on my work on my computer. The drinks and food were pretty good. I can't remember which drink I ordered, but my husband and I really enjoyed the quesadilla. It was surprisingly flavorful and quite delightful. The drink was very refreshing on the hot summer day. 4 out of 5 stars.

Yelp
Great speciality coffee in the area. I tried their bourbon latte. It was pretty good, not too sweet. Looked like their food was also unique and popular. I didn't order anything to eat. As a result of probably good food the place was very crowded. I was disappointed having to save a place at the coffee bar as I waited for a friend to arrive knowing that there could be no place to sit. They have about six tables for two and every one had one person on their lap top working the whole time. Because of lack of seating on a rainy day, I probably wouldn't be back anytime soon.

Yelp
Quick service, friendly staff, nice ambiance. Sometimes I am let down by veggie food but this veggie burrito was fabulous, grilled potatoes, delicious sauce. Highly recommend!

Yelp
Really nice coffee shop Hot vanilla latte is a good option Latte art is a hit here Inside and outside seating

Yelp
My coworker is obsessed with this place and now I know why.. ITS AMAZING! I love the bagel sandwich, I've ordered it every week for almost a month now. The inside is very clean, floral and cool and dark. I really enjoy the vibe here. Service is always quick and friendly. We order online often and go in to pick up, they are aware I go with a regular. Ha. Great place!! Check them out

Yelp
Ok, I was not expecting much for this coffee shop breakfast but it was so good!! I ordered scrambled eggs and they came out like professional soft scrambled. They were so delicious and I honestly will come back for the eggs alone! Came with crispy bacon and hash brown patties. I actually really like a hash brown patty. You know it will come out nice and crispy. Fresh bread for toast and yummy fresh jam. Was very happy with my meal Also got the cinnamon bread scone. Very soft- not hard at all. Had a bit of a citrus taste to it. It was good but when I want cinnamon I'm not thinking of citrus. Staff was very friendly. Cute little shop. They even put my coffee in a to go cup and topped me off when I had to leave. No high chairs FYI

Yelp
This place is vibe! Welcoming experience. First time here and we tried a couple breakfast sandwiches and they were super good! They have unique & fun items on their menu! Does seem to get pretty busy & I now understand why. I look back and crave their food. My partner enjoyed a cappuccino 9/10 with great presentation. I ordered an iced mocha & it was pretty good!

Yelp
Love bloom coffee but hit or miss. Depends on barista of the day coffee taste so good or soooo bad. I need to remember the face of barista who made coffee today. It was so bad.

Yelp
We were out holiday shopping, and decided to stop for brunch before a day filled with errands. We were headed to another local place, but decided to try Bloom. We both found the food to be underwhelming, and lacking in taste and quality. We ordered a chai with oat milk with a bourbon brown sugar add to sweeten it. It was good. The blueberry lemon scone was slightly bready, but was tasty. The glaze was a tasty addition. This is where things go downhill. The Dutchman was supposed to be filled with bacon, turkey, arugula, green apple, provolone, sun dried tomato aioli, on focaccia. Sounds delicious doesn't it?!? There was barely any meat, or other ingredients. The only item was far too much arugula, and the focaccia was dry. The BLET- bacon, lettuce, egg, and tomato. We weren't asked how we wanted the egg cooked, and it was well done, not done well. The bacon was overcooked, hard, and like the rest of the sandwich mediocre. Sandwiches come with a choice of hash browns or potatoes. I had to ask what the potatoes are. They are diced/ cubed fried potatoes. We both ordered them, and we both found them to be soft, salty, and missing that external crispness. You order at the counter, and the food is brought to your table. The seating is poorly arranged, and isn't inviting or comfortable. When our food was delivered I asked for condiments, and was told to go get it on my own. It was rude. There is also the expectation to bus your table, but they don't wipe the tables down. Gross. The meal was pricey, and it's not a place that I'd recommend.

Yelp
I love drinking a delicious latte in an actual mug! To make it even better, it came hot with a heart on top! I paired it with their BLET! The focaccia was so soft and chewy, crispy bacon with a runny egg, yes, please! I decided to be good and have a side salad with it. The vinegary dressing was just what I needed to brighten my appetite. It's a cute spot with lots in indoor and outdoor options. Great place to work too!

Yelp
High marks for the super cozy and welcoming vibes. The staff was super helpful as this was my first visit. Iced White Peach tea was mild and tasty as I like it. There was almost nothing available as it was almost closing. Totally fine. Nice to know all fresh things in the morning. The close the kitchen at 3pm I'm told so I'll try the kitchen options later. Check out their website for the menu. Very glad when a place has more than the standard pastry options. Plenty of parking lot. Easy to find location off a major street not far from the highway.

Yelp
Great coffee, great service. The food is decent too. The place has a relaxed vibe and tables inside and outside. They offer food till around 6pm. They also have lemonade, tea, herbal tea, and matcha. I really appreciated that the bacon in my sandwich was fully cooked. I can't stand floppy bacon. Their's was nice and crispy. Thank you Bloom for the lovely breakfast and coffee.
google avatar

Cynthia C.

Yelp
It is cute and the service was decent. The scone was pretty hard / nothing special. I ordered a macchiato and the espresso was burnt. It made for a very bitter drink. I would've given it a 3.5 stars if that was a choice. I rounded down because I just feel like nothing really stands out and the drink was a 2 star drink. Plus, a bagel is $5 (that's a little steep for a plain old bagel).
google avatar

Yelp
Places is pretty decent. Coffee is great. Service nice. Cookies a little bit too hard for my taste. Seems somewhat spacious for study time

Yelp
Cute little spot I accidentally discovered! The service was really good. The people were friendly, and the service was fast. I had a beautiful pot of tea and avocado toast. It was a cozy, friendly little spot. I really recommended the food was delicious. The tea was good. The service was good. The atmosphere was excellent.

Yelp
Delicious. We've been a couple of times and we absolutely love it. The small business vibe is everything that we are looking for when we are trying out new coffee shops in the area. The service has been absolutely wonderful and they are super quick to get you in and out all the time. I appreciate that they are friendly but they are quick as well. You can always eat here, although I haven't yet, we are more here for the coffee and tea, but based on what i have seen I would absolutely recommend the food.

Yelp
The food was alright, hard to eat though without getting messy. The seating is minimal, but was kinda fun sitting next to strangers and eating together. The service was great. My London fog was delicious, I had it with almond milk and lavender instead of vanilla. I will definitely try again when I'm in the area.
google avatar

Angelin R.

Yelp
While I didn't get a photo of my cappuccino period I did get photos of the interior. Space is super cute. Service is friendly and efficient. Large parking lot outside and coffee is delicious. Next time I'm in the area. I will try one of the breakfast burritos that everyone was ordering.

Yelp
I thought the coffee was so bitter. Of course it's all Personal taste when it comes to coffee. But customer service is great and very friendly and the food is delicious.

Yelp
One of the best cappuccinos I have had! Cute place inside with lots of tables. They sell Verve coffee beans inside.
google avatar

Darlyn C.

Yelp
This place is pretty aesthetic however it was cramped inside. There was an outdoor seating option which I thought was nice. The coffee on the other hand, lacked flavor and was straight up either milky or really bitter. Staff seemed friendly and willing to help out.

Yelp
Delicious coffee, yummy pastries and overall good vibes. Pretty good amount of seating and friendly staff. Worth a stop!

Yelp
Best coffee in Sacramento (get the latte). Omelettes are great! Not a fan of coffee? The London Fog is delicious!

Yelp
Positives: Bloom Coffee shines when it comes to brewing an excellent cup of coffee, and the ambiance hits just the right note for a coffee shop. The food selection is commendable, and I particularly appreciate the variety offered. Areas for Improvement: While the space is often bustling with energy, it can sometimes feel less inviting for those looking to engage in personal conversations, as many patrons tend to be absorbed in their work or studies. Additionally, incorporating more plant-based vegan options that celebrate local produce could further enhance the menu, aligning with Sacramento's farm-to-fork ethos. Suggestions: To strengthen Bloom's already robust brand, consider implementing a policy to encourage table turnover, such as time-limited seating or Wi-Fi access that requires a purchase. This could create a more dynamic and social atmosphere, inviting for both brief visits and longer stays. Positive Note: Despite these points, Bloom remains a cherished spot in the community, known for its quality and charm. It's a place where one can savor a warm beverage and a tasty meal, potentially becoming an even more integral part of our local culture. Owner Response Requested: I would appreciate it if the owner or management could acknowledge my suggestions and contact me for further feedback. Thank you for considering my input.

Yelp
This review is for the coffee only, I did not try any of the food. I decided to switch it up and try a new coffee shop which lead me to Bloom. The inside is cozy, large communal tables for people to sit and enjoy their coffee and food. The service was mediocre and the coffee was OK. Not worth me revisiting, there are other shops that I'd rather give my money to.

Yelp
Stopped by Bloom Coffee & Tea on a Saturday afternoon before my drive back to the Bay Area. I ordered a latte and enjoyed it! I haven't seen latte prices so cheap ($5 for I'm pretty sure a 16 oz or bigger) since I'm usually around larger cities like Seattle or SF. There was no line and my drink came out fast. This would probably be a nice place to chill at. Parking was easy since it seems to be in a shopping center. I'd definitely come back if I'm in the area again.
google avatar

Yelp
No specialty or seasonal drinks here but just a nice solid coffee shop with great indoor/outdoor atmosphere! They also have a kitchen menu so you can have more than just a pastry with your coffee (but there is also a pastry selection!). I ordered an iced chai latte, which was strong in chai & spice flavor. I was craving a simple bagel with cream cheese and it was toasted perfectly, so it hit the spot for this pregnant mama! I had a bite of my husband's carnivore omelette and it was delicious! Nicely cooked eggs and I loved the chimichurri sauce on top. The food came out very quickly too, I'm talking like 5 minutes! We also got a lemon blueberry scone which was probably one of the most moist scones I've ever had! The lemon glaze on top wasn't too heavy or too sweet either. The other scones looked delicious too, it was hard to decide on a flavor. Great service and there is plenty of seating both inside and outside. We came around 8:30 on a Saturday and it wasn't too busy, but it definitely started getting more crowded closer to 9am.

Yelp
Stopped in today for a coffee and decided to try the bacon breakfast burrito. My latte was very well done. Flavor and texture were excellent. Burrito had great flavor and tasted fresh. Employees were friendly and helpful. Thank you

Yelp
If I have time to spend whist sipping my latte, this is the place to be. Not only you get one of the best coffee, you also get to enjoy the cool and relaxing ambiance here. Servers are attentive and gets your milk tweaks for your drinks! I also like the fact that they have a rewards program.

Yelp
Being from Santa Cruz where verve coffee lives, I was astounded an OK choice to find a coffee here in Roseville shop that serves it! Today I watch her while waiting for my tires to be installed and ordered a breakfast burrito which was delicious. Friendly people happy atmosphere great food and amazing coffee! What else could you want?

Yelp
Cute coffee place with pretty good coffee. :) I like to come here to study, and their breakfast sandwiches are good!

Yelp
Came here on a weekend and it's Easter Sunday. I loved that it was quiet but usually it's quite busy if not holiday. You can not go wrong for coffee in Roseville. . I love the area here because right next to it has some amazing restaurants. Also lots of parking too. . Coffee . Shakerato - so I ordered this. What is it ? It's a espresso shot, vanilla syrup, milk and shake it all up. I thought it was a little to sweet for me so next time I ask for less sweet or keep it black. I usually like black ice drip coffee but then I wanted to try something different. . Verve coffee is what the coffee bean is used. It's a great bean that is served from santa cruz. Love the coffee from verve. . Overall this is my to go to spot for coffee when I'm in the area. You can get their other drinks such as latte and etc. I always have a good experience here. Hope this helps and thanks for reading. Have a yelptastic day.

Yelp
Food is always great, customer service is top notch. They are super accommodating and warm, every time I come in. The ambiance is chill, great for studying, working or just to take a beat. We recently moved back to Roseville and even when we were in Sac we would pull up. I'm a bloom advocate

Yelp
Love drinking at local coffee shops! Found this wonderful café, doesn't matter what time of day, during the week or weekend, the coffee is awesome! And they even have a 16 ounce cups! 16 ounces!! Awesome Great people, very friendly, knowledgeable!

Yelp
Great chai iced tea! Perfectly sweet with a nice spice. Will try the hot version next time!

Yelp
Best coffee in the Roseville/Rocklin area. They use Verve coffee which is roasted in Santa Cruz. Great breakfast and light lunch options as well. Our favorite breakfast sandwich is the BLET.

Yelp
I would have probably rated this shop higher if I was in my 20s, as there seems to be an active social scene for gen z. It also would be a decent place for simple grab and go if the espresso was stronger. The woman at the register was kind. She did forget to ask if we would be taking our food to go or eating in until half way through our order, so half our food was in to go containers. That did not bother me, but you may want to state for here before ordering if you plan to stay. She also kindly gave my daughter a sticker. Four stars for the food. My daughter and I shared a gluten free lemon poppyseed pound cake and a vegan breakfast burrito as a bowl, because food allergies suck, both were fantastic. The vegan breakfast bowl was packed with flavor. The poundcake was dense, moist and covered in frosted almond flakes, Jared even enjoy his bite. Jared's breakfast burrito however was a joke. He made no alterations to the order and yet based on his discrption there was plenty of bland eggs and potatoes with only half a piece of bacon, no cilantro, no pesto. Deducing a star for the layout. There are four rows of seating that run the length of the shop, with the register on the far back corner. Meaning, you need to make your way through two rows of seating to get from the door to the register to order. This also means if you're seated in the first two rows of seating when a rush hits people will be lined up behind your chair. To leave you have to make your way through the other two rows of seating. The arrangement gives a pathway feel that is not relaxing.

Yelp
I love this coffee shop! It's super cute, good vibes when you enter, and the staff greet you with friendly smiles. The syrups are made in house which I love. They also have a selection of teas and bakery items as well as some brunch plates. The breakfast sandwich was good and made with fresh ingredients. Although it can be busy at times it's still a great spot to do some work (many outlets for your laptop or phone), people watch, or just catch up with a friend. Liam also enjoys the dog friendly patio seating as well!

Sarah B.

Yelp
Coffee, food, were great. We got a scone and the bloom sandwich. My husband preferred the sandwich, the cream cheese threw me off a bit so I much preferred the scone. My husband got a drip coffee, asked the barista for a refill and her response was "uh.... You'll have to go to the end of the line" which made us feel like this was a policy made up on the spot & one that doesn't prioritize customers returning. The line was long almost to the door so needless to say we left without a refill. Honestly would have preferred her saying we don't do refills to that response or maybe the establishment should have drip coffee out like many others to avoid any congestion.

Sierra R.

Yelp
Everyone was nice. But I paid $15 for a breakfast burrito with borderline raw potatoes :(
google avatar

Matt A.

Yelp
The coffee isn't the best and the variety of beans is limited. The teas are alright. I mainly go to coffee shops to study and do schoolwork and a lot of the times when I do go I value the quality of the drink I get. That being said the seats are also metal/wired and not the most comfortable. After 30 minutes I kept finding myself trying to rearrange my posture to find a more comfortable position. I do value the fact that they do have a good selection of outlets to use. Sometimes coffee shops limit their outlets which I understand why, but Bloom has a good amount.
google avatar

Elizabeth U.

Yelp
I'm rarely ever in Roseville, but happened to have a few hours of waiting so I decided to stop by a coffee house and I stumbled upon this place! I came around 10am on a Tuesday and it was pretty busy. You seat yourself, and the place is small. They have some tables, some bar stools. There are also outlets if you plan on studying! It can get a little rowdy, so probably not ideal for studying or getting work done. I ordered a vanilla latte and it was made to perfection! Great foam and just the right temperature! I saw they had a breakfast sandwich special. I ordered that and it was sooo good. I don't usually eat sandwiches either. Eggs, arugula, sausage, and picked cabbage on a brioche bun; and of course - always with a side of crispy hash browns hehe. A little pricey, but the service was extremely fast! I wouldn't mind returning to this little coffee joint if I'm around in the area.
google avatar

Michael B.

Yelp
Sometimes you get a really good breakfast burrito, but most of the time it's a big greasy mushy wet mess of oil with oily wet potatoes, soft mushy eggs, too much cheese, and greasy bacon. They need to rework it. This review just for the breakfast burrito, overall it's a good cafe!
google avatar

Arthur P.

Yelp
Nice atmosphere and great coffee. Stopped by for a quick vanilla latte and chai tea. Made it fairly quickly and usually I don't drink it down fast but this time I did, strong snd perfect sweetness. No bad jittery effect. Would recommend.

Yelp
It's an excellent coffee shop, I have attended here since i was a freshman in high school. It's delectable and refreshed. Thank you for your loyalty and service,

Yelp
I like to support small local businesses over massive chains, so I'll still choose somewhere like Bloom over massive chains like Starbucks any day. But this is probably my least favorite coffee shop in the area. Their seating is extremely uncomfortable, their coffee is nothing special, and they charge an extra dollar for a refill on their $4 drip. To me, charging for refills on something that costs pennies to make is just greedy. You're already up-charging the hell out of a cup of coffee, which I'm happy to pay for to have a nice workspace for an hour or two. But charging an extra dollar for refills on drip? Come on. I don't know of any other coffee shop in Roseville that does this. I'll continue to support this place out of principle because I hate massive corporations and I don't want less options and more Starbucks, but Bloom is probably my last option for a coffee shop in the area. People are struggling and you guys are nickel-and-diming your customers? Just leaves a bad taste in my mouth.
