A super cute boutique that's a little hidden but worth checking out. If you're looking for cute and quirky birthday or holiday gifts, this is a great place to start. I'm also impressed by the diverse range of perfumes they carry. I wanted to buy them all!

I come to Bloom for all my gifting needs! They have such a wide variety of unique items, all made by small artists/brands. Bloom has something for everyone, you never know what treasure you will find! Check it out!

I’m obsessed with Bloom Boutique! It’s truly a hidden gem on Main Street! Every time I walk in, I’m greeted with the warmest vibes and the friendliest staff who genuinely care about helping you find something you love. The selection is always so well-curated and eyecatching. Plus, the store is decorated so beautifully, it’s hard not to smile just being inside. If you’re in Newark and love fashion, Bloom is a must-visit!

Friendly and very knowledgeable staff. Always a good place to find unique gifts and usually a nice selection of locally made goods. Newark location is in Trader's Alley. Closed on Monday's.

One word, awesome! I'm new to the area and found this store by chance, and am soo glad I did! They have beautiful and unique clothing, jewelry, you name it. The owner and employees were wonderful, kind, and extremely helpful! I went in for a gift and came out with two perfect gifts, and one for myself!.. (haha)

Bloom is a beautiful little boutique to find a more personal gift for a [female] friend - or yourself... I don't recall if items for men were available. Nonetheless, ideal bags, soaps, cards, and niche items are there. If you like whimsical and unique finds check Bloom.

Sadly, I am very disappointed with Bloom. I have been a frequent customer throughout the years when needing a gift. However, when I needed to go in with a family member during the only time I had this whole week they were closed. Before leaving, I checked handy dandy google and it told me that they close up at 7. Perfect amount of time to get out of my office on Main Street @ 6:30 and get there before they close. Well, 6:45 rolls around when I parked and as I walked up I noticed it is locked and dark. So I walk away after picking up whom I was planning to shop with and purchase a few items for her and as gifts. We got to the car (after paying to park) frustrated because this was the only time we had to shop all week especially at one of our former favorite places, Bloom. From personal experience, closing at 7 means letting people know at 5 of & locking to the outside AT 7. In the future, I won’t be bending over backwards again to go to bloom as I can find a new boutique that’ll coordinate with my working schedule.

I've been shopping here since they opened . This shop is one of a kind. For unique fashion, delightful perfumes and gifts I highly recommend this timeless boutique.

Bloom is one of the cutesy gift shops situated along Main Street in Newark. It's small and set a bit off the road, so it could be possible to walk right by. Fortunately, it caught my eye and I walked over. The interior is filled with loads of nice gifts -- rings, earrings, bracelets, socks, and plenty of specialty items. Most are on the more expensive side, but I was able to find a pretty bracelet to gift that was only about $30. They wrapped it up nicely as well. One thing that was slightly bothersome was that I couldn't browse in peace for even a second. The friendly ladies working talked nonstop and followed me around as I browsed. I prefer to look at my own pace, personally, and even said I needed to think about what I wanted to select but they didn't really back off. So keep in mind it's that type of store. Nonetheless, the stock was really nice and I'd certainly return for future gifting needs.

Bloom is my favorite store, i love all of their quirky stylish options for jewelry, clothing, and gifts! They do a really good job at fitting me as a petite but also have options for other body types. I really like that if you want to see things in the store when they weren't open because of COVID, they offered online purchase opportunities and delivery. It was great that they made my favorite store more accessible. My favorite place to get gifts for my mom or friends for Christmas and Mother's Day. Also really great because one time i bought a shirt that didn't fit right when i got home and they were happy to exchange it for my right size or help me find something even better! They have wonderful customer service and i would shop there over the mall any day. Happy to support a local business

Bloom is a true Delaware treasure! From a gorgeous assortment of handmade designer jewelry and clothing to unique and quirky gift finds including skincare, candles, and books - you will find things here you won't get anywhere else. Some of my favorite Bloom purchases include Alexis Bittar lucite rings, an amazing plaid coat, and Tokyo Milk perfume. Also always love the indie music Bloom plays in the store too, such a personalized and fun shopping experience :)

I absolutely ADORE this store. The customer service is so stellar, all of the staff is so kind and bends over backwards to help with everything while managing to still give me my space. I'm easily overwhelmed and bloom always manages to make me feel like royalty when I'm there. I also really appreciate the store policy being so wonderful and posted so visibly, as I am constantly buying the wrong gift size or color and at bloom I'm so lucky to be able to return and exchange in such a great time frame. 10/10 would give it 20 stars if I could. Shop local and support this spectacular store!!

Absolutely love this boutique to start off they have fantastic customer service and they always have fun, fashionable finds when you are shopping for yourself, friends or family! I couldn't live without my vegan leather jacket from here, it compliments every look. Always a fantastic experience when shopping here, love my bloom finds!

I wanted to like the cutesy shop located just off the beaten path...the sales people are nice. However, I always feel like my every move is being watched. I like to take my time and look at things. I can't do that at this store. I have been in there 2x and both times, the sales associates followed me around almost relentlessly. It was very uncomfortable. Some feedback for the owner... stop treating folks like they are thieves- not good for business and your prices are ridiculously high. I will not be going back.

I was really excited for my first trip to Bloom after I received a cute birthday gift from a friend, unfortunately, I will never go back. First, if I am going to be spending $100+ on a t-shirt I would hope to not be trying it on in a cramped bathroom where the toilet is broken. Second, if it is asked of you if you would price match an item that was significantly marked up (based on the designer's site) when it is found to be $30 less expensive, a proper sales associate or as the owner of the shop could just respond with a yes or no answer vs. lecturing about how coats at the shop sell out every year. Additionally, what happened to the 'customer is always right'? We were scolded and told that we were wrong and that the jacket was not the same. Thank you, I have a college education and retail experience, I am more than capable of matching the sku's and designer. Third, when my friends and I are having a conversation about necklaces, I would not think that it would be appropriate to interrupt when you were not invited into the conversation to tell us that you had the necklace from the designer before South Moon Under. I bought the necklace 5 years ago and am sure the designer or similar necklaces exist at places of business other than yours. I would prefer to purchase this at South Moon Under based on the customer experience and service level vs. Bloom any day of the week. If I could give this 0 stars, I would.

Bloom has some very cool, unique items for sale. The jewelry is fun and the store is very packed with products. However, the store is small and having packed makes it very difficult to even walk through with even a couple of customers. Although the products are cool, they are very overpriced. Many of these items are handmade but similar handmade items are available on etsy, which are more reasonably priced.

The eclectic selection of beautiful jewelry and unique clothes is only rivaled by the friendliest of employees. Choosing from such a variety of beautiful gifts might be a daunting task anywhere else, but not at Bloom. The excellent customer service is second to none. Always assisting in finding the perfect something for your perfect someone.

Beautiful store with an amazing amount of quality, classy, quirky, and varied inventory! The owner, Mimi Sparks-Sullivan, is a true professional: friendly, knowledgeable and involved. I heard she just opened a new store in Northern Liberties, Philly -- I hope it's as great as Bloom here in Newark!

My favorite store on earth! The best shop for gifts and jewelry. I got the prettiest Vanessa Mooney necklace recently. They carry styles many other boutiques do not. Definitely my go-to for when I want to treat myself or buy presents for others.

Bloom offers a unique shopping experience unequaled in Delaware! There's seriously the best selection of jewelry and clothes. My favorite thing is the clear sense of point of view that the buyer has and it shows in the adorable handmade accessories, witty sarcastic books, and indie brands. Everything is an experience here from the floral fragrance to the awesome music playing. Even the window displays have an attitude and personality. Its clear that everything is well thought out and consistent and this is what I think makes this store so great. I'd recommend bloom to anyone, its truly one of a kind.

Bloom, the most eclectic, and fun boutique I've encountered in Delaware. This neat little gem lies within walking distance from the University of Delaware, and offers a beautiful array of hand picked clothing, one of a kind jewelry, and lovely gifts. All the displays within the store are carefully curated. I've been coming to this location for years and have bought various garments. Simply put, I adore this shop. The owner and employees are all very knowledgeable and willing to help you find the perfect gift either for yourself or others!

Do not be deceived by the shiny things in this store! This place is a rip off. Bloom is over priced, has pushy sales people and terrible customer service. I bought an expensive ring here only to find that it changed color the very next day. When I went to return the defective ring they would not give me my money back. One girl tried to clean it with a silver cleaner and actually made it worse. Unfortunately I will not be returning to this store and will not recommend it to anyone. Next time I'm going across the street to Grassroots, who has great customer service and a fair return policy.

Make sure you don't bump a sign in a cluttered store. Be prepared to pay up. Choose to pay for the small broken sign and leave the $100+ purchase behind.

I have a $32 credit so I will return to this store to use it. I bought a scarf 24 hours ago and asked the owner why her scarves were $10 more expensive than similar scarves (actually bigger and better quality scarves) found in shops across the street and next door. The response was that her products were made in the US and so supporting American workers cost her more. I did not check the label and purchased the scarf, as I do think that buying American is a good thing and I took the scarf home and compared it to another one that I purchased for $10 less-- the scarf from Bloom did not compare well in quality, size or colors. And the label said clearly that it was made in CHINA! I decided to return the scarf and again was disappointed to learn that the store will not reimburse customers for merchandise purchased and returned within 24 hours with sales receipt. My only option was to take a $32 credit for use in the store. I hate to write a negative review but "geese" their interactions with customers are unethical...they have some interesting items but all shoved into a much too tiny space... Melva Ware Newark Delaware
