Patric and staff are wonderful. The store is gorgeous with many items to behold, besides the flowers. On the flower note, the arrangements are the utmost of class. No carnations or baby’s breath here! Patric customizes what you want and keeps a record of what you like. Patric’s flowers last twice as long as your normal flowers that you buy at any other florist. This is not a solicited review. I am purely a flower lover who wants to spread a great word. Enjoy!

Bloomers offers some of the most exquisite arrangements I have ever seen, and I cannot thank Bloomers and its owner enough for the enjoyment they have provided to me. The arrangements remain in my mind long after the flowers themselves have faded - an ongoing warm memory of matchless beauty.

Undoubtedly the best in town. Been in business for decades, yet remember to earn their reputation every day. Locals can see for themselves, but people living elsewhere, wanting to send a loving bunch of flowers from across the country, face a minefield of frauds selling wilted carnations and roses that never open. The recipients are too courtous to say anything. Bloomers can be trusted with your heart.

For the past three years Bloomers has created and delivered a GORGEOUS arrangement for my sister's birthday. I have talked to either Patrick or David, both of whom are wonderful to plan with They are always on time and then text me a photo of the flowers. I live in Oregon and recommend Bloomers without qualification!.

Bloomers is in my neighborhood, and I often walk by and admire what is in the windows. Along with gorgeous flowers, they sell a number of decorative items; some are one of a kind. Over the years, I've purchased a couple of vases for doing my own arranging, a tray, and even a cake stand!

We were celebrating my civil wedding ceremony across the street on my brothers patio, when the Bloomers team surprised us with the most beautiful tulips - it was such a sweet gesture and made my day! I'm grateful for the Bloomers team and their kind hearts - and beautiful arrangement.

My best friend had mentioned that she likes this florist, so when I send her gifts of love and appreciation, I have depended on them on many occasions. Just this last week, my friend sent me a picture of the bouquet in a text and a "thank you!". The bouquet contained EIGHT pionies! I was shocked and appalled. It looked fine for $25. They charged me $152 for EIGHT PEONIES. $19 a flower? 1. Trader Joe's flowers put them to shame 2. I am embarrassed and disappointed. This is not a display of love and gratitude. 3. Taking advantage of your customer by charging top dollar and then sending out cheap products is reprehensible.

Bloomers is the best florist in San Francisco! Patrick has such an eye for color and design. The bouquets he makes are always exquisite!

Update: Bloomers is totally open for business. Not sure why it's listed otherwise. You can call them and order whatever you need. Their delivery is super fast and competent as well.

Bloomers is one of my absolute favorite places to order arrangements from. I've traditionally ordered arrangements from them for business purposes, but they are so elegant in homes and are UNIQUE. We're not talking 1-800 flowers, here. Patrick and team are incredibly responsive and can help transform ideas placed on the phone into reality! NOTE: their walk in business is currently closed BUT they take online and phone orders (IMO, much simpler than going in store!)

The store is OPEN. Lovely folks and a well respected San Francisco business for over 45 years. Best quality around and beautiful.

I have been getting all of my flower arrangements from Bloomers for more than 20 years. The arrangements are always spectacular and breathtaking. When I send my husband his Valentine's arrangement to his office each year, all of his coworkers are jealous. For dinner parties, we have had many a center piece for our dining table and they are always the talk of the evening. I highly recommend Bloomers.

I've received several bouquets from Bloomers and they are always absolutely top notch. The flowers are PERFECT and could be exemplars of their species if we had to take two of everything onto noah's ark, ya know? I've been AMAZED by how long the flowers last- for us it's been about 10 times the length of any other flowers we've brought into the home whether they've been from farmer's market, trader joe's, whole foods, other florists, or delivery services. We once received a gorgeous distressed wooden basket with two orchids that held their blooms nearly five months with very rare and sporadic watering (we even went on vacation for a while and came back to them in great condition). If I had to choose the utmost elegant and perfect floral gift, I would order from Bloomers.

There is no flower shop like Bloomers. The flowers are always so fresh and beautiful. It gives me such joy to walk in the shop and see all the beautiful exquisite flowers. Also, the staff is knowledgeable, warm and friendly.

Sadly, my husband of 24 years recently passed away. I called bloomers to order a very large bouquet as the centerpiece for his memorial. The empathy and sympathy this florist showed me was so beautiful -- something so very appreciated in my greatest time of need. What was delivered was not a bouquet -- it was a piece of art. The proprietor delivered it to the church and he was barely able to carry it himself. The piece was huge and even contained a full branch of quince fruit! The church assistant told me she had never seen anything like it. Thank you, bloomers. You could have given me HALF of what you delivered and I would have been a satisfied customer. The kindness you showed -- and the beauty you provided -- will not be forgotten.

Bloomers is the jewel in the crown - is an elegant, beautiful, floral shop replete with exquisite flowers, plants, decor - miles of stunning ribbons, a selection of greeting cards - probably European- one of a kind. Patrick and the team at Bloomers have the quintessential flower shop. It's like something out of a movie or fiction novel. They're proficient, friendly, and creative. I consider them my florist. Their floral selection is unmatched. My mother-in-law is a flower expert (often naming the latin and colloquial names of every flower in her arrangements - so the bar is high) and she's always impressed with the selection and brilliance of the florals I give her from Bloomers. Bloomers is: friendly, creative, great selection, fresh long-lasting florals, brilliant arrangements, well worth the price.

The selection was quite limited when I visited on a Saturday afternoon. For such a large space, one would expect more variety. I went in with a beautiful bouquet of unique flowers in mind, and left with a bouquet of sweet peas and peonies. Still very nice, but expected a better selection of unique flowers. Prices are somewhat expensive. A single peony for $10. But they are lovely. Quality wise, top notch. Service was friendly and informative.

I recently purchased an arrangement from Bloomers - I live in the neighborhood and walk by the shop all the time. It's adorable, cute decor and welcoming. The Plot: I needed to send an assortment as a thank you that afternoon or early the next morning - had a crazy day and would not be back into the hood until later. So, I called in the order. My direction was sparse, but felt I could trust them to take the reigns since I saw so many beautiful things in the window. My ask: something modern, something not tropical, something in a vase that is unique and would be memorable reused. I said their apartment was simple modern design and to follow that feeling. I asked to stay within $100 budget, and asked if they could snap a photo and email it to me so so I could see what I purchased. The man who took my order on the phone agreed. Positives: man on the phone was friendly and tolerated my bad cell connection. Negatives: the flowers were poorly arranged, as if they were thrown in last minute. It was filled with Lilly's and looked extremely tropical. There were some other flowers that looked as if they were randomly shoved in the center . Plus, the vase it was sent with with a simple glass rectangle with no interesting qualities- something you could buy at that you can buy any Safeway. And I was never sent a photo or any follow up. For $100, I expected more. At least a follow up photo or call as promised. Very disappointing

Gorgeous arrangements, beautiful flowers, exotic choices. Bloomers is one of my top choices when I want to send flowers to someone special, or to mark a special occasion. Patrick has prepared all sorts of bouquets for my company and for me over the year, and we have never once been disappointed. Yes, it's expensive - but so worth it!

My husband and I have driven by Bloomers many times. Intrigued by their beautiful wreaths (which we later found out that they outsource, which is fine by us because that means they have good taste, right?), we purchased 3 on the spot. We also decided to order two flower arrangements for the holidays. After discussing what we had in mind, we set a price limit for our arrangements and were excited for our delivery in time for a party we are hosting. Being in creative fields, we understand that what is aesthetically pleasing is subjective. We are also recent NYC transplants and are used to paying a pretty penny for gorgeous arrangements. However, when the arrangements arrived, we were very disappointed. Having spent nearly $400, we expected something stunning and were quite surprised at how lopsided and cheap the flowers looked. (I have no interest in being nasty, this is simply an opinion.) I called to discuss the situation and even offered that they take the flowers back. They graciously said they would give me my money back. For this, I give them 4 stars. Bloomers and I may not be on the same page aesthetically, but kudos for offering good customer service. I am truly happy that so many others have been happy with what they have received and am only sorry that we don't match.

Very nice arrangements, but at a cost. But they do unique and stylish things - not at all flowers.com, etc. in looks. They also have nice plants, orchids, etc.

I recently ordered an arrangement for a family friend for a bereavement. The woman who assisted me was extremely courteous and helpful. With her help, I chose a vibrant orange orchid arrangement rather than the typical white lilies. I have heard nothing but wonderful things about the arrangement from the family and I am so glad that the woman assisting me gave me several options rather than the standard choice for a sympathy arrangement - which would have been the easy route. I found out later that the family I sent the flowers to is a regular customer of Bloomers - talk about kismet! Definitely a florist I would recommend to others!

My daughter had a Father/Daughter Dance and we forgot to pre-order flowers. I searched for a florist in the Laurel Village/Pac Heights areas and found Bloomers. It had such positive reviews I sent my husband there. And I now I know why!! The store was about to close and the cash register was shut down. But Patric, the owner, was sympathetic to my husband's plight and quickly pulled together a pretty rose bouquet of white and red roses and fresh greenery for my daughter, complete with a gold ribbon to match her dress. My daughter was delighted by the lovely flowers and proudly carried them with her to the Dance. They now are brightening up her room. Thanks to Patric and Bloomers for saving the day!! We'll be shopping there from now on!

minus 1 star for crazy expensive also, have bought stems hear several times to have them die within a day! too lazy to complain got a credit here from a fundraiser auction, took forever to spend b/c they run low on flowers on saturday and end of the day! huge collection of beautiful ribbons and the arrangements they were doing were always beautiful but if you drop in, not so much to choose from if you go late in the day =(

Patric's crew -- Kelly, David, Barbara, ,Daniel, Katherine, Lizzy, Claire and Jonathan (I hope I did not miss anyone) is delightful, charming and each offers top notch personalized service. Their flowers and plants are meticulously selected and magnificently arranged. Every arrangement is elegant. It is no surprise their clients have been loyal for decades. Bloomers is a local gem.

I love my florist Bloomers! I have used them exclusively for over a decade and have always felt lucky to have them. Whether you are selecting a few stems or planning a large event the individualized service makes you feel special. I have fresh flowers in my home all the time and, as an interior designer, encourage my clients to do the same and feel good about referring them to Bloomers. The flowers are exceptional and, for me, the selection consistently captures the season and enhances the mood I'm trying to create. I'll even show clients simple arrangements that they can use throughout the seasons to keep their places looking fresh and encourage them to use Bloomers because it's such a value-- the flowers last forever! I also love their generosity, donating to silent auctions and events for the Junior League. It makes me feel good to patronize them because I know they give back to their community. I can't say enough good things about them--I'm glad I have them.

They are the best! I just received a bouquet that looked like an entire English garden. It was ravishingly beautiful and the scent was heavenly.

My fiancé and I book them to do our wedding reception and they said they were "anticipating" in being available for our wedding date, so we said great and booked an appointment to see them. When we got there, all they did was ask what we wanted, while the gentleman wrote it all down on paper (both my fiancé and I were surprised, because we felt this could have all been done on the phone or email, but instead, we had to both take time from our jobs to go there). When we finished letting him know what we wanted he said he would get us an estimate by the end of the week (this was on a Saturday). Two weeks past and we heard nothing from them, so my fiancé decided to email them, to see what happened. After her email, they responded that they would not take our order, because the day of our wedding was no longer available. We were shocked that they responded this way, especially since they told us they would get us an estimate in the week (and they never did) and then they didn't even have the respect to email us that they were no longer available, we only found this out when we had to email them. This is a very unprofessional company

I got a yelp identity to rate these guys. I was hesitant to trust them without knowing what I was going to get. Especially since it was for one of my favorite aunts. However, I was tired of the internet florist who have the pictures of what you want, but deliver less than expected. I put my trust in bloomers and was not disappointed. It was beautiful and well worth it. THANK YOU BLOOMERS!

This is a geat place for flowers, flowering plants, cards and all kinds of gift accessories. The four staff that I've come across (owner Patric; Kelly, Barbara and Joey) are very helpful and produce really artistic arrangements. I've found that their flowers last at least seven days. I would go to Bloomers anytime!

If what you want is a stupid FTD-like bouquet, this isn't the place. But if you want unusual and beautiful flowers, and really expert arrangers, it's hard for me to imagine where you would do better in San Francisco. They aren't cheap, but they aren't outrageous either, and they really know what they're doing. The people are nice, but more importantly they're really professional. Every time I bring a bouquet to someone's home from here I get rave reviews.

Always elegant arrangements and wonderful customer service! I usually make my orders by phone and more often than not, ask them to select what is best, and it's always beautiful. The shop itself is elegant and has not only the huge selection of ribbons referred to, but great cards (including letterpress!).

Patrick and all of the employees that work at this store love what they do and know their products very well (flowers, vases, arrangements etc). They always go the extra yard to make your experience better. It is true they are more expensive but in this case, you tend to get what you pay for and that makes this store one of the best values in San Francisco!

I went to Bloomers last week with a friend who needed flowers for a memorial service & reception. The owner listened carefully to what she wanted and we were in AWE when we saw the beautiful unique arrangements in place. The colors and details were exactly what we wanted. Top notch service. This place is very expensive so i have to take away a star but will say the flowers consistently last for over 2 weeks. I have purchased to many bouquets from other places that die before the week is out, that is not the case here. The staff is always pleasant and when they get Peonies wow.
