This place always has a good variety of unique & random candy and trinkiets. Taffy selection is superb! I love all the variety and the people who work there are nice as well. Always a fun time when we stop in.

Google
Blooms Candy has an amazing selection of candy and glass-bottle sodas. It’s like stepping back in time. It’s great to see a small mom and pop shop like this still thriving. Support local and check it out. You won’t be disappointed!

hi hi

Lovely little candy shop! The young woman behind the counter was so polite and helpful — reminded me of how service used to be. Left with delicious fudge, lemon drops, and a smile.

Google
I love how organized everything is. The store is big but not too big...it is just right. I just came into eating sunflower seeds, and Bloom's have quite a bit of flavors that I have not seen when I was out there truck on the road. The young lady who worked there of 5 years was very polite and kind. She has many stories to tell of her ventures working there at the candy shop. Just to give a 👉 pointer... I don't know how I can pull on this, but there are taffy 🍬 candies in a large type of dresser drawer. Sooo many flavors, now there are two small signs up that state that you're not to sample them!!! And let's just say it's not the kids! People, you are grown folks. If you can't act right, trust me, God will recommend you. That's stealing... I get you want to walk in and want to try out, but you can't do that. Someone took the time and effort to make all that, and then you're going to go and steal something. Please be respectful when you go into the store Bloom's store is actually downtown Carrollton. I'm guessing the building itself must be a hundred and fifty years old. I love old times, the type of places that haven't lost its character and its beauty. But if you go in kind of early on Sunday, it's quite nice to walk around. They have socks and different novelty candies, stickers, and lots of different flavor type of sodas. There is a soda that I believe says something about pimples soda, and it's so gross looking, LOL. But I had a good time looking around, and I told her young lady I would definitely be back.

Google
I LOVE this place! It brings out the kid in you for sure and has every candy and soda pop imaginable. My favorite was all the satirical and novelty items they carry. They have lots of collector's items, eclectic T-shirts and one-of-a-kind gifts. I fell in love with this place!

Google
We had such a great time browsing your store and picking up some goodies! We love the nostalgia that your store brings and made us feel like kids again! Will definitely be back!!!

Google
Came on a Wednesday at 6:00p. Hours show they close at 8:00p, we walked up to the door and they were closed. Girl was behind the register counting money and said they were closed. Wonder if owner had her close early? Such a disappointment, clearly losing business as we and others were turned away. Lots of people out on the square.SMH

Yelp
This place is outstanding. The selection is awesome with a mixture of old and new candies. I also got a bag of cheddar popcorn which was amazing. This place is a must if you are in the area.

Yelp
It takes me back to a special time in my childhood. Back when my life was day's filled with going to my great grandmother's for a visit and sharing my candy and coke cola with her. For me times were much easier back then. It was a time of big family reunions and loading up in the back of the pickup truck, and riding down dirt roads looking for black berries growing on the barbed wire fences. If I could reverse time I would go back to those days.

Yelp
I ordered a gift- never received a confirmation email , tracking number. No one responded to my emails. After calling and speaking to the staff multiple times it turns out USPS hasn't received the item. Their response "call USPS". Horrible way to do business! Still waiting for the manager to call me back and get this remedied.

Yelp
This is the place If you are looking for a little nostalgia or crave something to satisfy a sweet tooth. They have a little of everything you could possibly be looking for, right there in Old Downtown Carrollton. Thank you!

Yelp
Is is every not fun to tour a cool, retro candy store? Downtown Carrollton has this gem of a place that is loaded with unusual candies and media tie-in lunch boxes and scented candles. Its Spencer's meets Rocket Fizz. Barf and Ranch Dressing sodas are in the cooler, along with obscure specialty fruit sodas that are less gross. Chunky bars, prayer candles themed after The Office and Breaking Bad characters, and a host of other items familiar, retro, and new line the displays. My one gripe is this is the kind of store it's fun to browse, but difficult to buy from because everything is so unusual and priced as such. We did buy a few things, honey sticks and some cherry drops. The guy behind the counter was notably humorless, weird for a candy store. I don't know if I've seen Willy Wonka too many times, but I kinda want the people working in a candy store to appreciate the joy of the narrative. This dude barely acknowledged me as we checked out. I think we will likely always visit Blooms when we come to Downtown Carrollton because it's kinda irresistible. It's a novelty store and a good place to find an unusual gift as you sift through the options.

Yelp
I LOVE this place it is such a unique candy store with sensory overload of all the candies and colors around you. They have a bunch of different sodas in the back with wacky flavors to try, and a wall of other knick knacks to find as you wander around. I always come to this store for a specific chocolate bar that normal stores just don't carry.

Yelp
Place is still rocking at the same location. Found cane sugar Dr Pepper and Coke here. Picked up a few things that I had not seen in bit. If I wasn't careful I could spend most of my retirement here. Great stuff! Though i35 is still under construction (and since its been like that for the last 5-6 years it can be a pain!) And its rather expensive as well. 10 ounce bottle of soda is $2.69

Yelp
i was visiting a friend in Carrollton, TX and he brought me to this area of town (*unsure if it was dtwn Carrollton or what), but it gave me Mayberry meets black ppl vibes and it was a very pleasant place. Blooms Candy had ALL of the old skool, nostalgic candy from our youth. Any piece of penny candy, box of 25 cent candy that you used to eat growing up, they had. They even sold collectors item toys, dolls and games. This place will make all of your money disappear on some snaccidental spending, I promise! The lady who owned it was very friendly and sweet. Check her out!

Yelp
In the days of my youth I remember the icy cold glass bottle in my hand during hot summer days.  Droplets of water dripped down the sides.  Some times I'd hold the cold bottle to my forehead before I opened and bottle and took a drink.  Hires Root Beer or 7UP chilled me to my core and for a few blissful moments the heat was kept at bay.  Collecting empty bottles at construction sites would finance my next purchase till the drink manufacturers phased out cleaning and refilling glass bottles. Lately glass bottles have been making a come back.  I prefer the glass bottles as you don't have chemicals in plastic bottles or the lining of aluminum cans leaching into your drink.  While under lockdown I was looking for a treat.   My thoughts drifted back to my last visit to Solvang.  Viking Garden Restaurant had Death Valley Root Beer on tap.  It was one of the best tasting root beers I had tried.  I did a google search and found  Blooms Candy & Soda Pop Shop had Death Valley Root Beer in the glass bottle.  They had a minimum shipping charge so I put in a big order so shipping wasn't greater than the purchase cost. Subtotal  : $29.41 USD Shipping  : $20.36 USD Total     : $49.77 USD   A week after I placed my order a big box showed up on my porch.  Inside I noticed each bottle was individually wrapped in bubble wrap while surrounded by styrofoam peanuts.  Each bottle was very well protected and none damaged.   Death Valley Root Beer had the most foam I've had in ages.  Smooth sweet root beer flavor with a hint of vanilla.  Made with pure cane sugar.  My favorite drink I purchased from Blooms. Route 66 Lime soda was a mix of sweet and sour lime flavor.  Reminds me of lime snow cones I've had.  Pretty good flavor and I liked the florescent green color. Red Rock root beer was sweet with a caramel flavor.  Medium amount of foam.  Pretty good.  A little like A&W root beer. Mexican Squirt has a bold grapefruit flavor and there is a good deal of sweetness to cut that tart flavor.  My second fav drink from Blooms. Red Rock Premium Grape sweet with a smooth grape flavor.  Pretty good. Saranac root beer had lots of foam and a sweet smooth flavor.  Taste a bit like Death Valley root beer.  Great tasting root beer. In the days of my youth I remember the icy cold bottle of Hires root beer in my hand.  These days I have an icy cold bottle of Death Valley root beer in my hand.

Yelp
I was looking for pickle flavored candies and snacks for my pickle pal lol and they had a great selection here. The store was very clean and organized and I liked all the different options they had. They actually had unique things I haven't seen at other candy stores in the area. I'll definitely be back to get more stuff soon!

Yelp
Enjoyed our second visit to Blooms Candy Store. We had been prior on a tour and came back on a mission to buy chocolate and popcorn for the grandkids. I recommend this candy store.

Yelp
This is a joint I discovered sometime last year. Being a 1980's kid, I fell in love with all the candy, toys and sodas from that generation. I try not to go in there much, seeing as I'm a diabetic, but I'd be lying if I say I don't go in there every couple or three months. The prices are great. They have a little bit of anything that you may remember from your childhood: a definite two thumbs up!

Yelp
exceptional items and service - my order had a snag and was repaired right away - they really care and followed through so quickly

Yelp
All kinds of sweets you can think of including Korean kit kats, saltwater taffy of every flavor, and fun spicy Tabasco and sriracha flavored candy located in downtown Carrollton

Yelp
There are several great places on the Old Downtown Square in Carrollton, but Blooms Candy and Soda Pop Shop stands out as one of my favorites. What an enormous selection of candies and sodas, it will blow your mind. But don't sell them short, they have so much more than that! Looking for the perfect gag or funny gift for someone? How about squirrel underwear that come in his and hers styles! Or, "You might have been touching you genitals hand sanitizer" is another selection. Maple bacon flavored candy is another you might want to check out! How about a fish bowl full of Dory, Nemo, and other Pez dispensers? Or maybe you need a Halloween mask, or even a a life-size Spider-Man Figurine...yes they got those too! This of this place as one fourth fun emporium, one fourth candy store, one fourth soda pop shop, and one fourth pop culture museum and you will begin to understand. Truly a cool place to visit!

Yelp
Would have given them a 4 star had the customer service was better. That big fella at the register was a little strange, dour faced and not very helpful. As for the items they have there thats a blast! saw quite a few gum and candy items from my childhood which was very cool..the soda selection they have is outta this world...who every heard of snot soda? not I...and I dont wanna try it either...UGH! but still its interesting. Was stopping through on way back to Austin wanted to see some novelty, as we did...just not so good customer service.

Yelp
Who doesn't like any candy shop? My nieces had a hard time budgeting their money when they are here. They want to buy everything in the store! They manage to spend $8 and left the store happy. Any place that'll make my nieces happy is always a five star to me.
google avatar

Jennifer R.

Yelp
This place is AWESOME! Need a five pound gummy bear? They've got it! Searching for a draft beer or fart scented candle for your favorite dude? Check! Have you been hunting for a footlong, cherry flavored, snake shaped lollipop? They've got that too! Scorpions encased in a tequila sucker...yep, they've also available! I think they must have almost every candy bar, gumball, sour candy, etc. that exists. They had Ritter Sport, Godiva, and Lindt chocolates as well. You can combine these goodies to make a fabulous candy bouquet. I bet these rival the beautiful flowers they also sell. They have a nice selection of Easter candy out now. The unusual item that caught my eye...edible Easter basket grass. How cool is that?!? Sugar Bear may be getting an Easter basket this year!

Yelp
This is really a hidden gem. I had a blast here and bought two novelty sodas and mustache stickers. How can you go wrong? Loved the zombie section and the exotic bug lollies. One of the ladies was too salesy with me and literally told me to "Buy, buy, buy" Really? Overall, I had a blast and love how cute and nostalgic this shop is! Enter and be filled with joy. The literal joy of a kid in a candy store. It takes you back to your childhood and other items make you laugh about how inappropriate it is in a candy shop. Everything you want novelty!
google avatar

Tiffany D.

Yelp
This place is what a candy shop should be like. A place filled with interesting sweets that are made locally and some that are flown in from abroad. This is the perfect place to go if you're looking for old-fasioned candy. I really enjoyed perusing through the many bottles of pop that were flavored from the norm like root beer to chicken wings. Even if you're not a fan of sweets, you should stop by for their novelty items. They have a really cool laser keychain. :D
google avatar

Amy Z.

Yelp
Maple & bacon flavoured taffy! And it actually tastes good! Some of the fruity ones taste more artificially flavoured than I'd like (e.g. watermelon), but this place is worth checking out, because it feels like stepping into a gourmet, old-school Halloween candy party. Add in the backdrop of red brick buildings in this historical block of downtown Carrollton, and you really feel like you're going back in time. The soda-flavoured jelly beans are also fun. They even carry green tea flavoured Kit Kat bars from Asia, how awesome/random is that?! I didn't know such a flavour existed, even H-Mart doesn't have it. This is also a good spot for small, hard-to-find personal or gag gifts, especially if you have friends who are into bacon, Edgar Allan Poe, Doctor Who, or Harry Potter.
google avatar

Estevan G.

Yelp
This shop has everything a kid could want in life. It's located In downtown Carrollton so you can swing by and get some food at rainbows followed by desert here. It covers all different genres of popular culture and has all types of candies that you could want. I have to also mention the different beverages they offer and extremely happy they carry Waialua Pop! It's a little piece of Hawaii when I miss being on the beach. If your going to buy multiple drink, sign up for the punch card. When you stop by check in on Yelp to receive 10% off your purchase.
google avatar

Yelp
Wow, this place has it all: the nostalgic old-timey candy, the upscale chocolate bars (with $$ prices to match), but perhaps the biggest draw, the huge array of pop in bottles (which reminds me of a store way back when in Oak Cliff that sold nothing but pop in glass bottles and cigarettes). I was quite surprised to see all the varieties they carried. I am from Michigan and they had hometown brands Vernors, Faygo, and even Towne Club (which you used to get at a "pop center" store and fill up a crate with your glass bottles!) I bought a Vernors and went out on the porch to drink it, and a woman walked by and said, "Oh, Vernors! I grew up in Michigan..." Crazy stuff. This would be a great place to frequent if I was a local; alas, I am only passing through. If you live nearby, stop by Blooms, crack open a cold Dublin Dr Pepper and enjoy!

Yelp
What a great little store - we always take our friends here to show off carrollton. Its always busy and open late. If you haven't been in a while, they have increased the soda selection recently. Its hard to describe their selection. Its an eclectic mix of bizare and imported candy and sodas along with a healthy dose of pop culture. So that it shows up in a few searches, here are some of the things I was surprised to see: Coffee Crisp, Cheerwine, metal lunch boxes (hundreds), every kind of root beer and other bizarre sodas, Dr. Who things of all types, Bacon flavored everything, magnets, etc Worth a stop in. You won't be sorry.
google avatar

Yelp
In a nut shell: You could literally spend an hour in here and not see everything. They have every kind of candy imaginable and then some. If you like gag gifts, candy, and insulting gifts then this is your place. This is my kind of shop, not so much my husbands. I saw all the old school candies I hadn't seen in many moons. If there is a root beer made in the world, they have it. I would venture a guess that they have over 50 types of root beers and then another whole refrigerated section of bottled sodas like Nehi grape, cherry and orange. All bottled in glass and looking good. We walked in at 7ishPM and we were the only ones in there. By the times we left there was probably 15 people or so. I reminisced on the details of the powdered candy in the fruit shaped plastic containers, the "Ice cube" chocolates my momma used to enjoy and all the details of the displays. This place is a whirlwind of detail that is easy to miss. Take the time to enjoy old downtown Carrollton, I can't wait to go back to this charming nook when everything is open.

Yelp
Cute shop in the old Downtown Carrollton area. Went in not knowing what to expect other than Candy & Soda Pop. They had candy and soda for sure as the name advertises, but they also have vintage toys on the shelves for sale and some random novelties.
google avatar

Yelp
Awesome little place in Carrollton square... not sure what the formal name is of the square, but it's a neat little area. This soda pop shop is awesome! They have a ton of candy, some old, some new, and a CRAZY amount of soda! Like the butterscotch rootbeer... ooh, amazing. They also have soda that glows in the dark, and soda no one has heard of. To top it all off, they also have novelty gift items like gag gifts and such. Funny things, but great stocking stuffers. I'll definitely be back. Would love to see this place become a staple of the square as it looks like the area is getting a much needed facelift. Great place! Glad we stopped by!

Yelp
Pretty awesome place. Drove down to Carrollton downtown and saw a candy store. We walk in and it was like a western candy store. They have awesome little candy treats that kids would love.

Yelp
This store is awesome! I'm from the Midwest, so every time I come visit family, I always want to stop here! There's so much fun and random stuff here. Usually fairly busy.

Yelp
This small mom and pop candy shop is awesome! It has so many of the old school candy including a wall of taffy. They also have a huge section of soda pop in bottles from all sorts of root beer to bacon flavored soda as well! They also have little gadget-type things such as pez (or other candy) dispensers and I really enjoyed the selection of lunch boxes they had. This unique place is definitely worth a visit!

P H.

Yelp
Use Scoutmob to get 50% off (max of $8 discount). Unfortunately you can not combine this with the 10% off 6 pack soda. Good selection of tin lunchboxes, candies, random goodies and sodas. Make sure you check the expiration though, a few of the sodas expired back in June 2013. I've tried the following sodas from Blooms ('+' means it's a favorite): -Virgil's Root Beer 2/5 -Lester's Fixins Sweet Corn Soda 3.5/5 -Henry Weinhard's Root Beer 3/5 +Americana Orange Cream 4/5 -Fentimans Curiosity Cola 3/5 -AJ Stephans Jamaican Style Ginger Beer 3/5 +Boylan Creme 4/5 -Zuberfizz Key Lime Cream Soda 3/5 -Capt'n Eli's Blueberry Pop 2/5 -MacFuddy Pepper Elixir 3/5 -Jolt Cola 3/5 -Melba's Fixins Peachs & Cream Soda 1/5

Yelp
Wow, they're loaded with candy / sodas that I've never even heard of. They have a lot of candy from Europe which is apparently not as sweet as the stuff we have here (Which was perfect for me). They also carry a bunch of cool toys and keychains that I haven't seen anywhere else before. The back end of the store has several refrigerators full of sodas that have unique flavors. My friends and I tried the Bacon Soda. As good as bacon is, it fails to live up to it's name in soda form, unfortunately. I would come back next time I'm in the area just to see what else I can find, but I'd definitely stay away from the bacon soda!
google avatar

Samantha W.

Yelp
Come with me, and you'll be, in a world of pure imagination..... I was a ...wait for it...kid in a candy store. I've been in candy stores before, but none so organized and unique. Each section of the wall display was perfectly categorized. Sour, Chocolate, Gummy, "odd", and even a bacon section! Not to mention four fridges of different sodas. I picked out three for the people in my office- Shirley Temple, Chocolate Soda and Jack Blacks Dead Red Root Beer. All were loved :) As I went around the store I kept picking up things that I didn't know I needed until I saw them. Bacon chocolate bar? need. Betty Crocker Yellow Cake flavored lip gloss? need. Salted Peanut and jalapeno chocolate bar? need. Habenaro Praline? NEED. and you get the idea.... They'll also let you round up a bunch of your picks and set them up in a nice bouqet for you! Great idea for clients and staff at holidays, when you want to give something other than (another!) coffee mug. Go...now! Remember- If you want to view paradise, simply look around and view it.

Yelp
This place is AWESOME! Of course one could easily determine that just by walking into the place. Wall-to-wall goodness of weird and nostalgic candy, sodas, and little novelties. All your old standby candies are there, along with some strange ones that most people have never heard of. It's like a mixture of the Big Top Candy Shop in Austin, and the Soda Gallery in Oak Cliff, or at least that's what their currently in-stock supply suggests. We were on our way to Agave Azul last night and just happened to wander into this lovely place. Of course two guys in trench coats showing up at 8 o'clock at night might seem intimidating, but the guy at the counter was super cool. I proceeded to really REALLY want to buy so many different things. I had about 30 "oh my god, I remember these!" moments in the span of 5 minutes. Yes, so much awesomeness is packed into that tiny store. I even found some Leninade, which is simply my favorite Soviet lemonade drink... In fact I think it's the only Soviet lemonade drink I know of. I was pleased to see they carried Dublin Dr. Pepper (The most awesome of Dr. Peppers) and Boyland Cherry Soda (The most awesome of cherry sodas). Finally I said "I'm going to stop here, because if I touch anything else I'm going to buy it," This place is located in Old Downtown Carrollton, conveniently nearby the recently-opened DART Downtown Carrollton station.

Yelp
THEY HAVE GREEN TEA KIT KAT!!!!!! give me a break, give me a break! break me off a piece of that GREEN TEA KIT KAT bar!!!! I bought two packs of those, some peanut butter candy, vanilla salt water taffy, lemon heads, and a hello kitty coffee mug. It was too cute to pass on! :) They have all kind of candy here. Some nostalgic ones from when I was a little kid! so lovely! I had this bookmarked for years now and finally got to try it! I literally felt like a little kid again! I wanted everything! They not only have candy but sodas, too. Bacon soda? is that good? but if I wanted to gain 5 pounds I'd try it...big girl gotta limit herself hehehe.
google avatar

ViJay K.

Yelp
This is one of the coolest candy shops. They have a little bit of everything. Various sodas and root beers. Lots of nostalgic candy, some from abroad and hard to find items. They even have a 26lb gummy bear and I believe a 6 foot gummy snake, Insane. Fun little place to browse and get some cook treats and items.
google avatar

Gayle C.

Yelp
While they had lots of candy they are lacking on friendliness; I spent $38 and didn't receive a thank you or a greeting at check out. I won't be back

Olivia M.

Yelp
This place was awesome! My grandma wanted grapettes and they had them!!! My grandma was so happy! They have great selection of candy and sodas!

Yelp
I dropped in on this place while visiting Vintage Martini next door, because I was happy to be able to drink a cold, fun soda on a hot day (something I had not done since the Soda Gallery in Bishop Arts closed down). When I walked in, I was overwhelmed with the sounds and sights of this small but awesome shop. I made my way to the back, ooh-ing and ahh-ing at the selection of goodies they boast. One section is dedicated entirely to vintage candy, and I scooped up a Zagnut, as well as some peanut clusters. There are sections for bulk candy, imported candy, and "themed sections" featuring, for example, zombie-themed candy and novelties, and bacon-themed candy and novelties. Among some of the fun non-edibles I found were some great vintage lunchboxes, funky band-aids (Spam band-aids, anyone?), cool rubber key covers, fake moustaches...the list is endless! I absolutely LOVE the soda selection here...these guys are ALL about the weird sodas, as well as both vintage and contemporary ones. I was ecstatic to see that they carry Leninade. It is simply my favorite soda, hands down. I got to taste their "Sweet Corn Soda", and while it wasn't my bag, it certainly tasted like sweet corn! This is a must-visit place here in DFW - highly recommend it for all of you fun-loving candy and soda enthusiasts out there!

Yelp
We were trying to kill some time and it is true what others have said. You can spend an hour in this store and still not see everything. They have almost every candy know to man and they are all at good prices. My one down fall is that my soda pop was really flat. And i get its an older soda, but should be flat I don't think. (I could be wrong) Great place to stop by for whatever you sweet tooth might be. Even some adult only candy.
google avatar

Yelp
LOVE IT! I mean, it's a candy store. With awesome sodas. What's not to love? I'd been in here before (the old location) when they still sold flowers out of the shop in addition to some candy and soda. I didn't realize that it was the same folks, but they just moved down the street and moved the flower sales out to a different shop. This store is AWESOME. I was on my way to Agave Azul on a Friday night, and had just put our names down on the list (party of 6 on a Friday night for the patio? Yeah, there was going to be a long wait), so I was wandering around the square... And I couldn't miss this shop. Totally cute, totally eye catching and totally awesome. I've bought random things I most definitely didn't need, but totally did at the same time. Couple bottles of Dublin Dr Pepper (and they even have a bottle opener if you want to drink it right then), a delicious bottle of Ale81 (made a friend uber jealous by sending her a picture of me drinking it-- she about had a coronary), a bacon chocolate bar, and a S'mores bar. I mean, whoa. Made of awesome. Then, my friends arrived and our table still wasn't ready. So we ALL went to the candy shop. I said, "I'm back! and I bought friends!!"... all of whom bought stuff and pledged their allegiance to this awesome shop. My friend R even asked the folks working there about our favorite German candy ever (she used to sell it for German club back in junior high-- we swear it's got crack in it because it's so ridiculously addictive). And they said they'd look into it and give her a call. If they get that candy there, we'll go buy it ALL. It's called "Softie" and it's, again, like laffy taffy meets crack cocaine. Overall, this is going to be a regular stop before we hit Agave. There's always a wait and this is a good place to pass the time. (and YES, the Agave pagers/coasters DO reach all the way to Bloom's! It'll still buzz you when your table's ready- mine buzzed in Bloom's on Friday and I ran right over!)

Yelp
It's like being a kid all over again when I am inside this candy store! I just wished that the candy prices and sodas were as cheap as when I was a kid. Overall, there are so many different types of candies and soda pops to pick from. They also have some that are specialty that I never seen before like bacon gummy. LOL and they also have weird soda favors as well. I would come back and taste the different types of sodas that they have. I wished that they had a table to sit at so if you want to drink your pop or eat some candy that you can.

Yelp
This is my pre- Babes ritual. I put our name on the list at Babes and walk over to Blooms to explore and pass the time. I love this place. They have old vintage and new out if the ordinary candy, video game collectibles, metal lunch boxes, funny and inappropriate novelty items(my fav), and all kinds of crazy or hard to find sodas and candy. If its still being made they can order it for you. This place gets the big fat NOSTALGIC stamp! They recently moved right next door from their previous location and the new space is great. Lots if room to move around. The only reason I left off one star is because while I expect to pay more for hard to find and unique items, I don't like that the everyday candy is so marked up. No biggie. Still love it!

Yelp
What can I say about this place that other yelpers haven't said already. I have only given 1 other place a 5 star rating and that place is my second home so that should definitely say something. This place is a time machine for all ages and will take you back to any childhood year no matter what decade it may be. This place has all sorts of candy you may or may not have heard of. Imported chocolates and sodas and even some other random stuff like Garbage Pail Kids cards. You are sure to say I haven't seen these in forever or OMG do you remember these? Very fun! Try something you have had before but also something you have never heard of. (always my rule of thumb) If you are in the area make sure you stop by even if you don't have kids! No matter how old you are you will definitely feel like a kid in a candy store!

Yelp
Came in on a whim to try all things nostalgia that day and found a cute candy store. It's in the downtown historical part of Carrollton and can be hard to miss if you don't know that it's over there with Babes chicken. They had a bunch of old school candies and memorabilia that had me repeating "omg I remember these!!" They even had a cooler full of crazy sodas and root beer that my stomach wouldn't dare let me try. I walked out with a few items and gifts for friends. Can't wait to return

Yelp
Blooms Candy & Soda Pop Shop is one of the best places on the Carrollton Square! I'm such a sweet tooth girl and I always find something cool and unique here, like every kind of candy and soda imaginable, or even gifts which hardly to find anywhere else! The massive selection of their sodas (like bacon and cookie dough soda? wow!) and root beers really sets then apart in my mind and trying one of every soda would probably take years. And I LOVE their specialty root beers the most!! LOVE LOVE LOVE! The staffs were awesome and so friendly! The atmosphere is awesome and probably one of its best features. It is very clean inside. Full and decorated with candies! Don't forget to check this place out! Go and fill up on delicious sugary treats!

Yelp
This place should be Veruca Salt and Augustus Gloop approved. I am waiting for the oompa loompas to roll out and re-stock the various root beer, cream soda, ginger ale and taffy. Awesome place! Use the yelp check in and maybe get a golden ticket (discount).
