"This outdoor restaurant at the luxury hotel ‘The Dolder Grand’ is a fantastic terraced garden on the 3rd floor of the modern extension. The individual terraced islands on the edge of the forest are idyllic, where you can sit surrounded by vegetable patches, fruit bushes, herbs and flowers. The eye-catcher in this green setting is a huge red sculpture by the artist Keith Haring. The idea for this interesting concept came from Heike Nieder, who, together with her dedicated team led by sous-chef Robin Briner, offers vegan cuisine that is modern and seasonal, such as ‘Tomato and strawberry salad with peperoncini and pumpkin seeds’ or ‘Cabbage roulade with herbs and shallot and caraway jus’. Dishes à la carte or the ‘Chef's Choice’ menu with four to six courses are available. Please note: The restaurant is open from May to September and only in good weather - your table will be cancelled if it rains." - Michelin Inspector

I appreciate out of the box cuisine. Experimental and innovative because only then can you find exemplary. You have to be willing to experiment. Excellent and test food. We had the four course menu and was enough. A beautiful restaurant in the middle of garden , you feel like you are in your backyard. I love how the food is cooked all outside. Very attentive service, great selection of wine.

We had a wonderful time at Blooms and were delighted with every aspect of the dinner—from the vibe to the flavors of the dishes. From the moment you enter, it feels like stepping into a luxurious secret garden, surrounded by lush greenery and a vibrant array of colors and flowers. The immersion in nature combined with the calm music creates a truly relaxing atmosphere. Of course, the staff also add to the relaxed ambiance with their smiles, friendliness, attentiveness, and care. We were also lucky enough to chat briefly with Chef Robin Briner, whose incredibly warm and approachable manner, along with his sunny smile, made a great impression. The amuse-bouche were an excellent start: the variety of temperatures, textures, and flavors set the perfect tone for the dinner. The appetizers were an amuse for the eyes as well, with beautiful decoration and presentation. In the Chawanmushi, the truffle perfectly complemented the crisp freshness of the broccoli. For the main course, what stood out to me was the warm ginger flavor, which didn’t overpower the dish but rather perfectly completed the concept and balanced the taste. Even though the rain slightly dampened our plans, the evening turned out to be delightful thanks to the attentive and flexible staff, as well as the exquisite dishes. Thank you all so much.

Last night I was at blooms for dinner with a special friend and former coworker Sonja C. Restaurant #blooms is really a special place and I am completely in love with it: right behind the historic hotel it’s nestled between the modern golf wing, the top station of the Dolder Bahn and the forest. Restaurant blooms is located in the midst of a lush herbal and vegetable garden and dining on one of the discrete platforms you indeed feel like in paradise. A truly enchanting place. Robin Briner and his team's plant-based cuisine, with products straight from blooms' vegetable garden, is artful, flavourful and sophisticated at the same time. All completely vegan and gluten free. And the attentive and charming service from Saskia Lanzerath and her team? It definitely lets you forget everyday life for a few hours. Very charming, competent and attentive, without being intrusive. (Almost) in the middle of Zurich and yet far away from the hustle and bustle. A real gem that I can warmly recommend. Let yourself be swept away to another world. I love it.

This vegan spot is a true delight! The food is fresh, creative, and full of flavor—every dish feels thoughtfully prepared. The smoothies are a standout: rich, refreshing, and packed with natural ingredients. Whether you’re vegan or just looking for a healthy, satisfying meal, this place won’t disappoint.

The experience was sensational. The service was so on point and the dishes redefine what you would expect of vegan cuisine. My wife and I are not vegetarian or vegan but enjoyed every dish and last bite. Plus, the chef and maitre d' were so hospitable as they served us our dessert in our hotel room and made a pop-up dessert bar. It was such a unique experience!

Amazing little hideaway in the midst of flowers, herbs and vegetables growing in the garden. The atmosphere in this restaurant is really somethingelse, really calm. The service was amazing as well. The food was beautifully arranged resembling an art piece and tasted really good.

The overall experience was amazing, the staff was friendly and welcoming, and we got refreshing towels at the start, which is a great way to start on a warm day. We had the 4-course chef's choice menu, which was fabulous. The food tasted fantastic and the mix of fresh components from the garden and the exquisite composition visually but especially on the taste side made the evening unforgettable. The setting of the restaurant is also great, as it is tranquil and feels nicely spread out due to elevation differences.
