We had a wonderful time at Blooms and were delighted with every aspect of the dinner—from the vibe to the flavors of the dishes.
From the moment you enter, it feels like stepping into a luxurious secret garden, surrounded by lush greenery and a vibrant array of colors and flowers. The immersion in nature combined with the calm music creates a truly relaxing atmosphere.
Of course, the staff also add to the relaxed ambiance with their smiles, friendliness, attentiveness, and care. We were also lucky enough to chat briefly with Chef Robin Briner, whose incredibly warm and approachable manner, along with his sunny smile, made a great impression.
The amuse-bouche were an excellent start: the variety of temperatures, textures, and flavors set the perfect tone for the dinner. The appetizers were an amuse for the eyes as well, with beautiful decoration and presentation.
In the Chawanmushi, the truffle perfectly complemented the crisp freshness of the broccoli. For the main course, what stood out to me was the warm ginger flavor, which didn’t overpower the dish but rather perfectly completed the concept and balanced the taste.
Even though the rain slightly dampened our plans, the evening turned out to be delightful thanks to the attentive and flexible staff, as well as the exquisite dishes. Thank you all so much.
