Food is good but they still have hiccups to iron out. Our order was wrong- they corrected it, but we had to wait an extra 15 minutes. For carryout orders you still have to wait in line, even if your order is sitting behind the counter ready. When they are making bowls for people in line, that could be awhile. Seems like there could be a more efficient way. Finally, the online order website has no photos or descriptions. I wanted to order a chicken dish, but had no idea what any of them were. So I didn’t. Descriptions would go a long way.

This place is great! You have to have the Monday poke special. I come here every Monday with my college-age daughter. Nice friendly service.A place to sit and eat if you want inside or out.A must try. And they have good prices.

Excellent service. Awesome food. Low wait time. I give this place 5 stars for its consistency with great quality and service. One of the few healthy options in the Clarksville area, surrounded by a ton of unhealthy ones.

These other reviews have to be from the owner's family and friends. Save yourself the trip and go somewhere else. The food is atrocious and the employees need training. We went the only customers when we arrived, and ordered a bowl and a ramen and we were waiting 45 minutes. We were also given incorrect info when ordering and the lady packing our bag said the girl who rang us up was new and too bad. The long wait was because they kept prioritizing call in orders over ours. I kept asking where the ramen was and she said the cook has to do the call in/pick up orders first and then will get to mine. Insane. Last, the food was NASTY. The Ramen and "bbq beef" looked like shriveled cat food and the noodles were $ 0.30/pack dried noodles that were not cooked all the way See pic.

Service was great, the workers are so nice! Everything but the rice is as expected. Personally, I do not like hard rice and every bite of my bowl was full of hard bits and pieces of rice. I know some people like that but I do not, and I feel the standard for white rice should be soft and fluffy and this rice is undercooked. Not sure if I’d go back but it’s almost good poke nonetheless.

The food is not bad; however, the overall experience was very negative due to the poor attitude of the person who prepares the food and handles the payment. One of the dishes was never served, and when we requested a refund as we were leaving, instead of offering an apology, we were told that the system was down. Her arrogant attitude was by far the worst part of the experience and the reason we would not return.

This place is amazing. I was actually headed to a different place in the commons, and ran into somebody I knew that had a bowl from here. It looked amazing. So, long story short, we ended up here. It was so good, in fact, that I came back as soon as I could. Very fresh ingredients. Gorgeous presentation. You get to pick everything you want to put in your bowl. If you like kimchi, they have some awesome homemade kimchi. The lotus chips are delicious, if you've never had them before. You should definitely check this place out.

Oh, I forgot how delicious poke bowls are! For the price of $13 for a regular bowl, you get so much food. I tried the 1/2 rice 1/2 lettuce and wasn't disappointed. I opted for the red rice, which was gluten-free, and it was tasty! All of the ingredients were super fresh, and if you love sauce like me, you can get them on the side. Delicious.

I go here often because it is right next to my home and a lot go the errands that I run. I have gotten other things before, but the salmon poke bowl is my favorite. They give you a good portion size which is great. Every ingredient is always very fresh. The service is decent as well. It is always someone new working in there though, but I think it's because most are teenagers from the area. The ambiance is cozy and small. They have a couple tables available, but it seems that most people take out. Definitely try it out!

We order at least weekly. The bowls are great. Everything is super fresh and very filling. The food is consistently good. The owner is really responsive to any issues/questions.

Loco Moco was a Noco Goco.. not a fan especially since I've been to Hawaii and have had authentic Hawaiian food. Nice ambiance, great staff young but very friendly. Clean and pretty quick order to ready timespan. Wouldn't be number one on my list of must do again or try for the 1st time.

The serving size is insaneeeeee. I got the bbq plate combo and wasn't expecting this much. Could use a bit more seasoning in the beef and chicken but the short ribs were perfect. Broccoli salad was a 10/10. Staff was also really friendly. Can't wait to try the rest of the menu

Ordered two of the same bowls... got different bowls and missing ingredients and no sauces (paid extra for sauces too). See picture of the two different bowls but the order is the same. Rice isn't fresh. Tastes like leftover old rice.

We ordered some blowfish poke bowls for delivery, and it was so good that I ate mine so fast. I got the regular portion, which comes with your choice of base (white rice, red rice, salad, or a combo of these) and 2 scoops of protein. I picked white rice & salad for my base and salmon for both scoops of protein. Plenty of toppings to choose from including edamame, cucumber, seaweed salad, red onion, carrots, purple cabbage, corn, green onion, cilantro, jalapeños, crispy onion, roasted seaweed, etc. A lot of options for sauces too, but I like the spicy mayo and eel sauce. Absolutely delicious and very filling! Will definitely order from them again.

I wanted to try something different while I'm this area, and popped into Blowfish. It's a relatively small place, where you order your poke bowl in stages -- rice, protein, toppings, veggies, sauce. Kind of a Chipotle model. I'm not super familiar with a poke bowl, and wasn't too sure what to get. The place is incredibly loud, and the server had a hard time hearing me and I certainly couldn't hear him. I had to ask for one component twice because he couldn't hear me. Might be better for online ordering, but in person, that isn't ideal. The bowl itself is good, and I got a mix of salmon and tuna. It seemed fresh and flavourful. All in all, worth going back, but I'll order ahead if I do. They don't have much in the way of drinks, and they're overpriced (I think about 3-4$ for a bottle of 'just water'), as well as a little pretentious (guava nectar and lilikoi passion). Unfortunately, unless you want to pop into five guys, there's nothing else in the Plaza for a normal drink. So, bring a water bottle (save plastic) or buy a pepsi before lunch.

I'm going to preface this review by saying I'm not a fan of poke. Like, at all. However, Blowfish has vegetarian and other protein options if fish isn't your thing. The puff tofu and chicken were great. Love the rainbow of veggies to pick and choose from, as well as the crunchy toppings and dressings. +1 for Hawaiian Suns! Kinda pricy, but worth it for healthy and fresh food.

The poke was delicious and packed with tons of toppings! It was a good portion for the price and the people working were so kind and hard working. Would definitely recommend!

The food is great. My sister kids love the food. The staff are nice and friendly. Only problem is that they mixed up the orders. But they give us a free soda mixed our orders. The staff are nice and friendly.

So happy to find this place!! I love poke and this place has some great poke bowls and more. The selection is not huge but everything is really good. I always get the salmon and tuna in my bowl with a bunch of good veggies and rice. The bowl creators are really helpful and nice. We also love the chicken katsu! It is really yummy. The servings are good size for one person and the price is fair for the quality and quantity. The place is pretty small and has room for 4-6 people to sit and eat. More like a grab and go place. The chicken is halal. We will be returning many more times!!!

I've eaten here and had good experiences but tonight was gross. The rice was hard and dry , and the beef was so overcooked and reheated that it was literally black and the and pieces were the texture of jerky. I think I'll pause on buying from here for a while. Very unhappy.

I love poke and I love Hawaii so I had to try Blowfish Poke. They advertise halal meat right on the door which is my wife's dream come true. I spoke to the woman behind the counter and she confirmed the halal status, letting me know one of the stakeholders ate halal and was the reason the restaurant served it. I decided to get the Mochiko chicken which is described as Hawaiian chicken nuggets but the chicken portion is much bigger than a nugget. Alongside the chicken I went with the red rice instead of the traditional white. This place has a plethora of sauces available and I ended up swapping my eel sauce for yum yum and soy sauce. The first bite and the chicken just melted in my mouth. In my head I thought it would be a tougher/stringier type of meat but it was quite the opposite. The chicken was delicious and could be eaten alone as a meal. The rice was cooked well, with just the right amount of salt added to it. I can't say enough about this place except that I've been back three times since my first visit two weeks ago.

Halal chicken at a poke bowl restaurant is a huge plus and the primary reason I tried this place to begin with. If they add a halal loco moco option that would be a game changer for me. I've always wanted to try it. First the chicken. I have tried the mochico chicken (nuggets) and the katsu and both are very good. The mochiko is a bit juicier but the katsu has a nice breading. I prefer the Mac salad to the broccoli salad and I highly recommend the spicy Korean sauce to go along with it. Now the poke bowls are equally awesome if you want something lighter. Fresh fish, nice assortment of ingredients, and once again must have with the spicy Korean sauce.

Absolutely love this Blowfish Poke location! It's small but super cute, and the hanging plants are so pretty. Everything is super delicious and fresh. I typically get the poke bowl with salmon and crab. But I tried the Mochiko fried chicken once and it was so yummy now I want to try all the other dishes!

RICE ONLY HALF WAY COOKED. That also meant not edible. We were excited to try this new location, indeed it's across the street cause we tried multiple time at The Common Kitchen and the food was delicious! However tonight we are very disappointed. First of all, white rice are not cooked! How can we eat? 2nd Kailua pork was totally over salted, and no taste of pork but only salt :(. The decoration was nice with the flower and such, but I want edible food. I ordered online with broccoli salad, but was told at the store that they have no broccoli and my orders were replaced with macaroni. Surprise! When I got home and open the boxes- broccoli sitting there- should I eat? I am confused. I also ordered added mushrooms to the local moco, however the girl told me that they usually don't add mushrooms in local moco, hmmm... but.... It's on the menu. Very disappointed and confusing experience. I hope they could move back to the common kitchen and the I will be back. Otherwise, this will be my first and last visit.

This food is so fresh and delicious ... and it's healthy. The tuna is excellent. The service is always great and you can't beat there Monday meal deals. Their new location is right off of Route 108 near Sheppard Lane and there is plenty of parking. The owners also do a lot of charity work for the community and they could t be nicer. Highly recommend

The quality of the food here is amazing! I love how filling it is and they really fill up your bowl! I got a regular bowl which came with 2 scoops of protein and almost all of their toppings. It's so fresh as well and the staff was very friendly. Amazing service, I will be coming back anytime I crave poke!

This is one of the best poke joints I've tried to date! We stopped here on the way back from a hike, and I introduced my hiking mate to poke for the first time. He loved it, as did I. Located inside the Common Kitchen, the ingredient options at Blowfish are high quality and outnumber a lot of other places I have tried. It's not a super close drive otherwise, but we have since made the trip back out here just to get some good poke because it's just that yummy! Not to mention, the staff behind the counter are always so nice and helpful. There is nowhere I'd rather go for poke. Total win! What's even better about this location is that it can please everyone with something. Even for pickier eaters who might not like poke, the Common Kitchen has plenty other food types to choose from. The Poke here is by far my favorite, but works nicely for groups with diverse palates as well.

I remember when the boba craze first swept through the DMV and then the poke craze followed suit. Not that I'm complaining! While I haven't frequented Blowfish Poke in-person, I recently ordered from them for a quick delivered lunch. I'm always nervous about build-your-own options when ordering online because there isn't really a way to "note" certain things (double scoop of that, only a smidge of this), but the nerves were unfounded ordering here. They even had some of the veggie toppings grouped (by yellow or green), so that you didn't have to manually click each one. I got their largest portion with four scoops of protein with the never-tried-before red rice. Delivery was quick and everything was well packed into a resuable container, which I 100% prefer over the cardboard bowls. My senses immediately noted how colorful and fresh everything smelled... and tasted! Definitely one of the freshest poke places I've tried. The red rice was interesting, I couldn't really tell if I was tasting it though since I had a ton of stuff mixed in (YES, I am a bowl shaker lol). My grow area: I wish the protein was cut into thicker slices of fish. If you look at photos, they're on the smaller side compared to other poke places in the area, but around the same pricepoint.

Blowfish Poke is absolutely incredible! This was my first time having poke since all of the other places I've tried to get it from have soy in it (I'm anaphylactic). Blowfish Poke was more than happy to accommodate my allergies and let me know exactly what was safe and what wasn't. They make everything in house, from scratch, so they knew all of their ingredients and I felt comfortable ordering with them. The food was amazing! Everything was so fresh and flavorful, and the bowl was so filling. I'm so excited to go back and get it again. Thanks Blowfish!

There's not many good poke places in the area so I've been looking forward to try this place out. I ordered large poke bowl with salmon and tuna with white rice. Pretty much added most of the toppings minus anything spicy. The bowl was huge and was enough to feed two people. This will probably be my go to poke place from now on.

Really yummy and love their red rice. If you get a large Pokebowl on the weekdays they give you a free kids bowl! I got the salmon and the tuna and it was really yummy mixed with the seaweed salad.

What a GEM! Ordering was fast and easy through their website, as was pick up. We got 1 large, 1 regular (with the protein packaged separately), and 1 kid poke bowl. Portions were generous, ingredients were fresh, and everything tasted delicious! The protein stars are the salmon and tuna, and we loved the veggie load and crunch from the purple cabbage, cucumber, edamame, seaweed salad, and wasabi peas. The drizzle of spicy Korean sauce was the perfect complement -- but plenty of options and combinations for the spice-adverse. I felt full, light, and happy after demolishing this healthy and satisfying meal. Can't wait to come back! Blowfish Poke is definitely making it into our take-out rotation!

The food is really good. I only ordered entrees not the poke. The white rice was dry and it was also dry in the musubi. It took away from my experience because I am a huge rice eater and having dry rice can take away from the entire experience even though the dishes were really good.

Delicious $15+ tax for a regular bowl 2 scoops of meat and unlimited free toppings. Very filling and more economical than buying 3 sushi rolls.

This kept popping up on my recommendation. I ordered directly from their website which had lower prices per bowl plus they had a special this weekend. (Ordering through Grubhub was much higher). The ingredients were all fresh and it was a healthy & hearty meal. My choice of protein were tuna and tempura shrimp. The order was ready on a table nearby but it was my first time and I had to flag down a server to inquire about my order. Business was slow and all the workers looked busy looking at their phones.

As good as it gets! You won't be disappointed. The fish is very fresh and they give very generous portions. They offer a variety of toppings to choose from and you can't go wrong with any combination. This is coming from a very happy and satisfied customer :)

Super fresh poke with ingredients to delight you taste buds. We shared a four scoop of tuna and salmon. It was an enjoyable lunch. We also tried Egyptian street food and empanadas. Eat well, tip well.

I tried their food truck first. It was absolutely amazing! First time I had a poke bowl. I got one with tons of fresh veggies, white rice, chicken and crab salad. I asked for suggestions and the girl happily provided me with suggestions of sauces etc to add on my bowl. I was hooked and super excited to find out they have a location in Clarksville Commons! I stopped by there Friday on the way home from work and got the bowl pictured below. It was just as tasty as my first bowl! I highly recommend the avocado to add on for $1 more.

I finally made it to Blowfish for a Poke Bowl today. I had a difficult time finding it as it's located in a food court type setting with other restaurants and the signage is small. Regardless, I found it and had a good Poke Bowl. The gentleman who waited on me was great and offered up suggestions. I had a Poke Bowl with Salmon and Tuna with the Half & Half Salad/White Rice. Overall, it was a pretty good Poke Bowl and filled me up. I'm guessing that it clocked in at around 1,000 calories but I'm not sure the accurate calorie count of Poke Bowls. The Fried Onions on top was a good addition. It cost me a little over $13 and I left a 20% tip, as I always do, especially during these times. I'm not sure I'd return as it's about 7 miles from me. If I were in the area again and hungry I might swing by again though.

What a Fantastic Lunch we had!!! 100% fresh and delicious food. Super fantastic staff, being very helpful in helping us decided what to add. Incredible variety of toppings including Kimchi. I got the large 4 scoop protein Salmon and tuna and my wife got the 2 protein tuna, we absolutely loved everything. The owners are so incredibly kind and appreciative of their customers! You can't go wrong making this your go to lunch destination!!! We Can't wait to go back!!!

Finally tried Blowfish after seeing many raving reviews on Facebook! I got a regular size bowl with tuna and salmon and almost all the toppings. The fish was delicious and fresh. The toppings were great too! I like that the cucumbers are cut into matchsticks. The size was perfect but I thought there was way too much rice. I suppose some people might appreciate it but I ended up wasting a lot of it. I'd try it over lettuce next time.

So i've been to a couple of poke places and this one rates as one I would come back to but drive out of my way to get to. Its similar to other spots where you pick a base, couple of proteins toppings and sauces. Depending on the size of your bowl you get 2 or 4 scoops of the protein of choice. You can always add extra proteins and toppings for some extra $. I was happy with the selection but not enthralled with what was available.

Amazing service, great food! We got a bowl and the bang bang shrimp. Can't wait to come back again.

Hidden Gem of Maryland is within "TheCommon Kitchen's" building, so don't get lost like we did! The inside reminds me of smaller version night markets in Asia. My boyfriend is from California and he said this reminds him of home, and that we should have more of these around! Other than that we had Blowfish Poke on our first night there, as for my first experience of Poke I would say I wasn't disappointed! The portion was good we got large with 2 scoops of tuna & salmon $15 worthy.

Got the lunch version with both salmon and tuna with Korean hot sauce on red rice. Outstanding quality and freshness. Worth the stop off Rt108 and 32.

Finally got a chance to go last night. The two young men working the counter were amazing. I told them it was our first time there and they were extremely helpful explaining the menu. We did the $5 happy hour bowl and it was definitely worth it. The salmon melted in my mouth and all the toppings were super fresh. I will definitely go back! Soon!

I'm not a fan. I'll explain. I'm a Business traveler. I've had poke all over. Something about this one... Issa no. and I've had theirs a few times. First, the sauces are all watered down and lack flavor. Poke is about the protein, NOT the a accoutrements. They give you more fluff than they do what you are paying for. You can eat the protein in 3 chopstick helpings. The size of the scoops for the protein are absolutely ridiculously small for the amount you pay. It's not even salted so when they add the flavorless sauce it it... a disaster. Even the rice they use is not great. Sushi rice with a little sugar or a lightly seasoned white rice please. Everything here is flavorless and appears to be geared towards that population who eats in that fashion. The final issue is... if you get avocado, they charge you $1 for 1/4 of an avocado. That's absurd. This place is stealing from you all and giving a subpar presentation of a decent meal. I'll go elsewhere.

Small portion size and costs more than other poke places in Maryland. I order online for convenience but it becomes very inconvenient when they don't follow your special requests. Several times have I paid extra for extra fish but don't receive it. I gave the Clarksville location many chances, then gave up and went to the other one by 70 but the staffs there have a nasty attitude. Will not be returning to any locations.

This is actually my THIRD time here, but I devoured my poke the other two times before I took a picture BUT - yes. Worth it. Generous portions and friendly staff. For my base I get half rice, half salad & they even have kimchi at this location.

Picked up a poke bowl for lunch today. Closest poke bowl to me. It was so good!!!!! The tuna and salmon were very fresh. I loved the fresh toppings. They tossed the salmon and tuna in a house soy sauce with some fish roe and then I picked cucumber, seaweed salad, corn and green onions as the toppings. Then topped it off with toasted sesame and crunchy onions with their sesame sauce. It was delicious. My husband took a couple bites and wanted to steal my lunch. Definitely coming back for another bowl soon!!!

I ordered tuna, tofu, and shrimp tempura as my proteins, and he ordered tuna and salmon. We selected a variety of toppings, including carrots, avocado, edamame, red cabbage, and crunchy onions. All of their sauces sounded so good, it was hard to decide on just one; luckily, you can get several different sauces on the side to try! Got one free kid's bowl with each of the large bowls we ordered--such a great deal! The food was so fresh, delicious, and filling! We will definitely be back!

I ordered a regular poke bowl with crab meat and beef with some ingredients and requested for the dressing on side. Brought it home and found no crab meat, no dressing in bowl or side and two ingredients were missing. Not only that but it was 3/4 full. Yet I paid over $17 on it. Wont go back ever.

My favorite Poke place in Howard county... if not Maryland. Fish is fresh. Topping choice is great. Red rice is a must when you go! Large portions price reasonable. My favorite I crave it every week and go!!
