BLT Steak

I recently dined at Blt and was blown away by their truffle Mac and cheese and perfectly cooked steak. The Mac and cheese was rich and creamy with just the right amount of truffle flavor. The steak was cooked to perfection and had a beautiful sear on the outside. Amazing dessert, I highly recommend this restaurant for anyone looking for a delicious dinner.

My wife and I had a reservation for 7:15 pm. When we arrived we asked to sit on the out door patio since it was such a beautiful evening. We had a brief wait and then were sat at a table outdoors. Our waiter greeted us and promptly brought us the water of our choice. We were then served a complimentary appetizer of duck liver pate and crisps. This was then followed by a second complimentary appetizer of enormous popovers with butter and sea salt. Wow! Our drink order was taken and delivered in a timely fashion. For dinner we both ordered steaks which were served in cast iron skillets with melted garlic and butter on top. The steaks were impeccably cooked! For sides we ordered sauteed mushrooms and Vidalia onion rings. Superb! Our entire meal experience was great, and was enhanced by the incredible service delivered by Jesus. Jesus was friendly and helpful during the entire meal. We will definitely return to BLT again on this vacation in the hopes that Jesus will be our waiter again!

Our waiter Dennis went above and beyond, he was the sweetest and very knowledgeable. I loved the cowboy steak medium rare with the peppercorn sauce. The steak was very soft and melted. The Kansas steak was delicious as well but very different. It was a little more tougher. The truffle Mac and cheese was delicious. The onion rings were good but unnecessary. We did not get dessert but omg the menu sounded amazing! I enjoyed the 689 wine, it was dry and semi sweet.

Based on the ratings I was expecting to be blown away. Honestly the food was good but disappointing in the flavors and steaks. My steak was over cooked and didn't taste good. Feel like the place is over advertised. Lesson learned. Now I know why it was so empty..

Finally a 5* experience on this island! Where do I even start? First of all, the staff were great. Super nice and welcoming. The place was beautiful and clean. And the smell of the food walking in made you wanna sit down and order already. Wine selection was the only disappointing part, as I’d rather have other French vineyards holding a good Chardonnay (beside the Louis latour they’ve got which is my lease favorite one). The bread was exceptional. I’m not a bread person and don’t like bread. But that bread was unreal. The oysters were fresh, but not that great. The tuna tartar was fresh and nicely seasoned. Now the meat, we’ve ordered the porter house and the cowboy. The cowboy was phenomenal and made to perfection. Where there porter house was over cooked and needed to be changed to a new one. On the second time it was cooked correctly and was great. But the cowboy was 100 times better. The max & cheese and mash were so good that I couldn’t stop eating them! Will defo go back!

Super rude hostess. We had a reservation for 8:30, seated at 9. Two people. Steak and a glass of wine each. Steak ordered medium, undercooked. Popovers are bland. $250. I'll pass next time.

On the fence initially, but was so glad we chose. The service was outstanding, and the food was terrific. Be prepared to spend money, but in my opinion, it was worth it every penny

Thank you to the Ritz Carlton staff for making my birthday so special. Everything from the kind greetings, the perfect location and the mouthwatering food made it the perfect experience. The popovers melted in your mouth, the steak was cooked to perfection and the dessert was perfection. Thank you again! This was a birthday I will never forget.
