My wife and I just visited Blue Jam for the first time, and we're very pleased with the experience! Delicious food and drinks, great atmosphere, and friendly staff! We got the Crunchy French Toast, and Floritine Benedict, both were fantastic! Stoked to come back next time and try more from the menu!

Upon entry I was greeted without having to stand and wait long. However, I was disappointed to discover when I got home, that the potatoes included with the Tuskan scramble were a bit dry and the three slices of toast could be used as a foundation stabilizer, aka the tooth chipper. It was so hard I cracked a molar! Be careful if you dare to eat the toast! Definitely not worth the cost of my meal. More like left over reheated potatoes, and toast made from bricks. (The butter and blue jam doesn't help)

One of my favorite places for breakfast. Delicious food and friendly staff.

Google
My favorite place for breakfast and brunch. Wide selection of food. I never know what to choose because every dish is so delicious. Ginger shot is a good start to the day. QR code ordering system is easy and fast. The staff is always nice and friendly. I always feel welcome. Jeff is a true professional, I can't imagine having breakfast without him. I love this place!!!

Loved the food. The waiter made us order online though and since 3 of us were older than 63 we were lost. Thank God one of us was in her early 40s and did it all for us but it wasn't easy. I enjoyed my BLTA and coconut cream tea immensely. Mom had little crunchy French Toast with berries. My sister in law got a sandwich and my friend also a sandwich. Parking was a but rough. No easy sign where we could have parked in back so we paid $2-3 each parking on the street. Had fun. The waiter was nice but left us after sitting us down and we asked for menus and never really saw him again. I didn't like that policy. Otherwise it was a good meal.

Google
I absolutely love this place. The service is always amazing. Everyone is so friendly. You do have to scan the menu and pay right on the website. No cash accepted. But the food is divine. Everyone is so friendly, I just love coming alone and enjoying a meal. I came for my birthday with my girlfriends as well and it was just such a great time.

My wife and I tried Blu Jam for the first time today. We were glad that they had their own parking lot which on Ventura is already a miracle. My wife and I walked in and were immediately greeted and we chose our seating. We were served water and handed our menus. We were given a brief overview and a description of their crunchy French toast. There is a QR code on the table that you scan and place your order. I started with an Americano and she went with a Chai which she LOVED!! My wife went with the build your own scramble. She chose Soyrizo, cotija, mushrooms, spinach, bacon, tomato & cheddar. I tried some of her breakfast and I have to say that the soyrizo tasted like regular chorizo, it had a great flavor. I went with their create your own omelette. I went with chicken sausage, bacon, chicken & goat cheese. I added a tiny dash of salt and pepper and went to town. I filled my corn tortillas with the omelette and loved the way the goat cheese just melted into each bite. We also ordered a side of nitrate free bacon which was great and a bowl of fresh berries. Since everything was done through the phone there was no real server but the staff as a whole was very welcoming and friendly. We got thanked multiple times for coming in on our way out. It’s always good to feel appreciated when dining out. We will be back most definitely, thank you Blu Jam!

I had one of the worst dining experiences in a long time at Blu Jam Cafe. I went in with high hopes based on the Google reviews, but the reality was incredibly disappointing. I ordered the eggs Benedict with salad, and my partner got the shakshuka. The eggs Benedict was just bad — the muffin tasted dry and stale, the sauce was unpleasantly sour, and the bacon had a weird, off flavor. The shakshuka was barely acceptable — it tasted like sour water with tomato chunks. Instead of a thick, flavorful tomato base, it tasted more like salsa with an egg thrown on top. The drinks were somehow worse. My partner’s latte was overpriced, cold, and tasted like something you’d get at a gas station. But the London Fog Lavender Latte (pictured) was truly one of the worst things I’ve ever tasted. It was just warm milk with an overpoweringly sweet, artificial syrup? I couldn’t taste any coffee at all. It was so nauseating I literally gagged at the table. It was a joke. We each took one sip and left it nearly untouched. The food presentation was fine, and the iced tea was okay — but that’s about the only good I can say. And yet, we walked away with a $68.98 bill (receipt attached) for this disaster of a brunch. Never again. I honestly just wish Samos Cafe had been open that day.

Yelp
Was in the area, and decided to stop at this modern cafe for breakfast. I ordered the crunchy French toast. WOW!! They were the best I've ever had. They were crispy, not overloaded with the taste or smell of egg, and they were not too sweet. They were paired with a side of vanilla bean sauce and fresh fruit which turned them into a spoonful of happiness. The ordering system was a new experience for me because you have to order through a QR code or walk up to the counter. It turned out to be very easy because it was user friendly, and the menu was fully loaded with pictures. I will definitely be returning to this location in the future. The waitress was friendly, our water was constantly filled and the overall feeling was welcomed and relaxed.

Yelp
First Impression: The restaurant felt very busy, but not particularly clean. We were seated on the left-hand side near the side patio, in a booth with a direct view of both the bathroom and kitchen--an unfortunate setup that took away from the ambiance. Second Impression: As soon as our drinks arrived, we noticed the water had a strong chlorine smell and taste. The cups themselves also smelled unpleasant, which didn't help the overall experience. We ordered the Hangover Scramble, Breakfast Burrito, and Churro French Toast. To their credit, the food came out very hot and perfectly cooked. However, the flavors were underwhelming--nothing stood out or left a lasting impression. Overall, while the food was executed well in terms of temperature and timing, the cleanliness issues and lack of memorable flavor make it unlikely we'll return.

Yelp
There were seven in my party, and none of us had been here before; but we all had heard wonderful things about Blue Jam. We were surprised by the no cash policy, and the choice of ordering at the host desk or at the table using the QR code. We chose the latter. (Tried to see if payment info was mentioned on the website--didn't see that policy mentioned; could have been overlooked.) Everyone (except one) enjoyed their meals, stating that the food was delicious and plentiful. The one common concern: tipping! Ordering using the code requires payment before receiving food with the option to tip before receiving adequate service, hence the three stars instead of five. Cups of coffee were ordered and no server returned to ask if we wanted refills. No server returned to ask if there was anything that we needed after bringing our food. So the 20% tip that many of us paid upfront was for someone to bring us our plates--that's it! We placed our own orders and received minimal service. I recently read another review mentioning bland breakfast potatoes. I second that opinion. Nevertheless, I am glad that I experienced it; but not a restaurant that I would recommend or frequent. Typical Ventura Boulevard restaurant with substandard parking and substandard service, but decent food and portions for a mid morning gathering. RESTAURANT'S RESPONSE NOTED...in comparison to responses with similar reviews.

Yelp
First time visitors to this restaurant and we LOVED it!! The vibe here is very relaxed and welcoming. The entire staff is super friendly, extremely hard-working and attentive. The food was EXCELLENT!! Everything we ordered (Power House breakfast, Crunchy French Toast and the Cali Burger) was cooked to perfection and I MEAN, perfection. Fresh, tasty, and DELICIOUS! This was a very positive dining experience

Yelp
My friends brag about this location all the time. So I decide to go, I can say that it is worth bragging about. You can order using QR code or order in the front. We preferred ordering in front. We ordered omlette and sandwiches. My sandwich was so good. I really liked my sandwich, it tasted really good. If you like ginger, I recommend ordering the ginger shot. It has interesting flavor. The ambiance is lovely. There is plenty of seating area. You can pick to seat inside or outside. When we went , it was kind of cold so we preferred to seat inside.
google avatar

Elana B.

Yelp
There is a small lot in the back of the restaurant and you enter from the back alley road. It's pretty tight, so large cars beware. There was a lot of inside seating, as well as outdoor seating. I found it weird that you either order at the counter or via the QR code at your table. Portions were very good. I couldn't even finish my whole meal. The potatoes are meh. I added extra salt but tbh it wasn't worth the space in my belly. My iced coffee was like drinking a milkshake. 10/10 There are two unisex single stall bathrooms.

Yelp
Valley residents love Blue Jam - with good reason. Their space is bright and airy with indoor and outdoor seating. Their servers are friendly, engaging and swift with ice tea refills. And of course the food is delicious. Adding a special plug here for the really wonderful vegan options at this location. It's easy to stay vegetarian at most brunch places - but vegan is harder and sometimes impossible unless all you want is a bowl of potatoes. Blue Jam's tofu scramble and other tofu and cheese-less options really make it easy. Keep up the great work!

Yelp
Cute spot! The vibe is laid back. The place has plenty of indoor and outdoor seating. We ate outside in the covered area parallel to the sidewalk which was nice. The inside gave local diner brunch vibes--not the most aesthetic but still exudes a certain ambiance. You order via QR code which was an efficient system. I got the red bell pepper soup which I think was a special--it was delicious... the green drizzle flavor complimented the soup nicely. The Orange Whip Creamsicle was a ripoff. It cost $8! I was expecting something more, and I also thought it tasted odd... kind of like a garden. The service was great. If you're in Sherman Oaks and looking for a chill breakfast, I recommend this spot.

Yelp
Still great! Just adding a picture! :) Jeff is super kind and funny and made my friend groups' brunch even more delightful!

Yelp
Came here on a Saturday for brunch with my boyfriend. There were many indoor/outdoor seating but due to the weather, it was extremely windy and cold so we waited to be seated indoors. Entry way is fairly small and everyone crowded themselves indoors due to the weather. There was a QR code for you to sign in to be seated indoors and all outdoor diners were seated immediately. Large menu variety. I ordered their January special which was the breakfast panini and london fog lavender latte. We ordered our food prior to being seated which made our experience faster and smoother. The london fog lavender latte was BY FAR the BEST london fog i've ever had. Extremely fragrant, flavorful and creamy. Strong notes of lavender with the right amount of earl grey, vanilla and honey. I was HOOKED. Breakfast panini was good as well. The potatoes were crispy but bland. Food wise, everything was lacking salt but the tabanero hot sauce did justice to add so much flavor to the panini and potatoes. Panini was beautifully toasty and extremely filling. Ingredients is very healthy and clean which may be why its was lacking so much salt. Overall would love to return to maybe try their caramelized apple crepes or Norwegian eggs benedict.

Yelp
A brunch favorite!! You can always count on Blu Jam for some really good food! My sister and I ordered our iced matcha duo (one with whole milk and the other with almond milk). So refreshing and as matcha lovers, we definitely approve! For food, we ordered the Simply Eggs (bacon, eggs, potatoes, toast, and jam) and Create Your Own Scramble (mushroom, tomato, onion, bacon). So so delicious! The potatoes were perfectly crispy and the bacon was very well done and tasty! The scramble was perfectly mixed and the mushrooms were so good! The jam -- speechless! It is my absolute favorite! We love how easy it is to order via QR code and how friendly everyone is. The ambiance is very casual and great for taking family or friends. Totally recommend!

Yelp
Great food, service, and decent ambiance. I really enjoyed my breakfast and cappuccino. The chilaquiles were very good. Definitely enough to share between two people! We also enjoyed the French toast. The coconut cream was so good. Only miss was there matcha. Pretty pricey and it tasted like a cup of milk. Besides that everything else was pretty good. Cheers!

Yelp
We went to this restaurant for the first time yesterday, and we were seated right away. Our food came out timely within 5-10 minutes. We ordered Norwegian Benedict and another type of egg Benedict, and they were delicious! The restaurant was overall clean, but i wished the food under my table, which was probably dropped from previous diners, was cleaned up before we sat down. I'd come back to this place to eat again.
google avatar

Er3yn G.

Yelp
Love the outdoor seating. This was the perfect casual place to meet a friend and their parents. I like that you order and pay inside and then wait for it to come out. It was slow service but we didn't mind. Gave us time to catch up. But tables to play games or good for groups. Good food and great coffee. I'd come back!
google avatar

Yelp
Blu Jam is always a reliable brunch spot. The ambiance is lovely with so many outdoor tables & shade, the staff is always kind and the food is delicious. Sometimes there's a wait but it usually goes faster than expected. You can now just order and pay from a QR code on the table so it's pretty quick. Some of our favorites are the migas (always suggest these over the chilaquiles), the grilled cheese which is to die for, the hangover scramble, and of course their gem, the French toast. Perfectly crunchy as it is delicious with the best vanilla sauce. They also have an excellent French press option that is pretty reasonably priced. Great spot for friends, family, dates etc.

Yelp
Brought my friends here & they all loved it! I was just disappointed at my burrito. Since I'm vegan I made a soyrizo burrito but if I hadn't added that it wouldn't have had anything. It's my fault though, they did have a wrap or vegetarian wrap option & it would've came with more stuff. But I wish there was someone to guide than just ordering through qr code. Food was good but more attention to the table of 12 would've been nice.
google avatar

Yelp
Honestly, I came here kinda on a whim with a friend after hearing about the hype from a few other friends--and I gotta say, it lived up to most of it. We sat outside and the vibe was chill. Kinda artsy, lowkey, sunny L.A. morning energy. I got the eggs benedict and potatoes (I think?) (classic move), and they were so good. Like, actually fire. My friend got the crunchy french toast and it looked insane--like dessert for breakfast in the best way. Service was quick too. If you're into breakfast food that leans a little bougie but still feels casual, this spot hits. Good for catching up and vibing. Would def come backkk.
google avatar

Luis M.

Yelp
This location is the best! The staff is always super welcoming & friendly. It's self seating & you order directly from their menu online, which I think is a great system as it always comes out super fast! I have seen some elderly people complain about the ordering system a few times but the staff is always patient & accommodating to them. Their tuscany scramble is my favorite! I've sat in both the front & back patio but I think the back patio has a much better vibe. They have a small lot for customers you can access through the back alley but street parking is always available too. Can't wait to come back!
google avatar

Sheryl H.

Yelp
Went to this place with friends. It was very crowded and very noisy. My friends are vegetarian so that's the reason we went there. I myself did not find the food to be that tasty. It was just OK. There are plenty of places on Ventura Boulevard where you can go and the food is halfway decent or even outstanding. But it is open for brunch and breakfast and that's what makes it a hotspot. So it's up to you whether you go there or not
google avatar

Michael K.

Yelp
For no server (order app or at front) their service is really good. Especially the French press guy who had his soccer kid button. They have a very small parking lot in the back. It was pretty crowded but it was a weekend. Wait to sit wasn't too long though. The food was overall very fresh and well made. I got the make your own omelet, I went the meat load out (bacon, sausage, chicken, garlic) tasted great. Friends got ranchero, Italian breakfast and a club. They are much better at breakfast I think. If you don't want your hash under your food I think you have to ask on the side. Though I kind of liked it under the omelet. Solid fast pace and popping diner!
google avatar

Nicole R.

Yelp
Blu Jam has been a staple in Sherman Oaks for years. You used to have to wait an hour for a table and now it's pretty easy to be seated right away. I will say that I don't love the order system (everything's on your phone) The staff don't check in as much as I'd like. We waited 20 minutes after our food came to get syrup for our French toast. I also wish they served alcohol. Overall, it's a great breakfast spot.
google avatar

James I.

Yelp
It is obvious that this place prides itself on exceptional customer service. All of the servers were overly accommodating and great. And the food is amazing

Yelp
Blue Jam Cafe is my go to for breakfast when I am in town from Maui. Today 7/29/2025 I placed an order online Create Your Own Open face omelete..4 items were required but I did not see avocado as an add-on...I already paid for my order and noted in the note box if avocado can be added...but was totally ok if it wasnt possible since I already paid. To my surprise...when I got home I opened the to go box and saw half of an avocado! Thank you SO much Blue Jam' so appreciate your kindness. The food is always yummy & consistent. Theres always a line of people waiting outside. Worth the wait! Usually get seated fairly quickly...this time I got breakfast to go! See you on my next visit Aloha! Aly

Yelp
We all like to try new places from time to time but sometimes we like to go to a place we know. We know where to go when we want a waitress or waiter that is friendly and likes to chat. Then we have our places where we want to just focus on the food that's in front of us. Not to take away from the staff here, they are all great. Everyone is super friendly and very welcoming. However once your drink is brought to you you are able to focus on who you're with. In this case my wife as usual and my French press coffee which was absolutely perfect! Coffee is truly one of the greatest things in this life. This time around I went with the Shakshuka and it was a great choice. I also added two extra sunny side up eggs to swirl the yolky goodness around. My wife went with a build your own scramble again. She added mushrooms, chicken breast, tomatoes, mozzarella, cotija and bacon with a side of mixed greens and a bowl of berries. Everything was great and as always everyone thanked us for dining to make us feel appreciated as guests. So we will be back again and again.

Yelp
Found this Place through our friends who live in town and it's highly rated. We wanted to grab a brunch and decided to come. I'm glad we did, place is not very big but cute. Parking can be hard, they do have parking in the back but limited or street parking. My husband and I got the chilequilles which is a MUST TRY! We got the egg benefits but it was okay so next time we go will both get the chilequilles! Will return in the future and recommend it to friends and family
google avatar

Yelp
Food was good. The servings were big definitely shareable. I feel like the wait staff wasn't very attentive. But we enjoyed the food
google avatar

Rocio A.

Yelp
My friend from out of town was visiting and I wanted to take her somewhere very LA. No wait which is nice! We sat outside, it was a bit hot that day and we had some sun on us. I ordered the chicken tinga sandwich with salad. It was a pretty big sandwich that tasted good. It's a good place for a nice lunch maybe breakfast is best?
google avatar

Norelisa N.

Yelp
Casual brunch spot in Sherman Oaks. Super convenient to order, just scan the QR code and pay from your phone. Comes in handy so you don't have to calculate how to split the bill :) Went with two old friends to catch up and we left full and satisfied. I satisfied my sweet tooth with the French Toast Churros. WOW. Can't wait to try more things from their menu.

Yelp
2nd time here and had an even better experience! First, want to thank the Manager Jeff for making sure we had an overall better experience this time around. Jeff, along with the other hostesses were very welcoming when we walked in and attentive throughout our time there. Prefer to sit outside, it feels more open and even though you're outdoors there's not a whole bugs or anything thankfully. We had the breakfast burrito, brunch burger, and of course their crunchy French toast. Everything was delicious. I'm always weary of breakfast burritos because I feel like some place but too much or too little of something but the crunchy be I had was so good. The potatoes were really good as well and I will always recommend the French toast - so good! Definitely recommend this location and will be back.

Yelp
Blue Jam Café in Sherman Oaks is a true gem! The Prosciutto Benny was perfection, with soft poached eggs, prosciutto, and herb hollandaise that tied it all together beautifully.
google avatar

Yelp
Nice little cafe right on Ventura Blvd. Food was quick and tasty. Waitress was very nice and helpful.
google avatar

Yelp
The food here is incredibly delicious. We came here at about noon on Sunday and there was plenty of patio seating. We brought our dog and someone quickly greeted us with water for the table, menus, and a dog water bowl. I had the crunchy french toast, my sister had the grilled cheese, her husband had the migas. Every bit of the french toast was delightful the vanilla bean sauce was just the right flavor. Absolutely would love to come back here again for the food.

Yelp
"We're Jammin!" Blu Jam Cafe... "I wanna jam it wid you." This breakfast, brunch and lunch time fav, is a small chain in Los Angeles with seven locations, including their flagship in the Melrose/Hollywood/West Hollywood area. Sherman Oaks is my local for takeout/delivery and dining in [which included outside or in... gorgeous patio space in the front as well as more to the side and in back]... You can seat yourself and order at the front or via phone courtesy QR... The future is now! Having had most of their veggie friendly options on the menu. I opted in for the Vegan Wrap on the lunch menu from brunch breakfast. The Vegan Tofu Tostada, Spicy Vegan Tex Mex Tofu Hash and various vegan possible things [including coffee with almond or oat milk]... Unfortunately the S.O. location located on Ventura Blvd/Noble Avenue between Sepulveda and Kester... street parking mostly... Doesn't serve adult beverages like a lot of their other locations, but you don't need a stiff drink to enjoy enjoy a great meal here. The flavors for all the food is stellar! My new friend Rich raved about the Crunchy French Toast with vanilla bean sauce for syrup and his boyfriend (an old friend celebrating his birthday weekend), Art enjoyed his Simply Eggs combo. He wasn't crazy for the potatoes, but Rich and I loved them! The food blends well together. The service was great though you don't have an actual set server. They bring you your food and things you needs. A cafe of mint lemon water that's crazy refreshing, but then you're pretty set. Lots of classic essentials on the table [pepper, salt, ketchup, hot sauce, etc] and you get lots of napkins + utensils cleaned and sealed in a recycled paper material bag. Music is causal and familiar, nods to old jazz, blues, r&b, pop and modern throughout, was great to eat, enjoy and vibe out. We saw who I think is the manager and/or owner working his magic throughout in a cool Lakers cap in a casual but stylish fit. He seemed really friendly handing out nods and smiles to all enjoying their meal. A pretty decent deal for three meals, coffees, plus tip [a little over $80] which you do before you receive anything is very coffee shop or food of convenience... I know it can seem a little off beat for a restaurant cafe, but I gotta say BJC does it in a very special way. Q Tip: Check in and get a complimentary free ginger shot! They also offering catering and events.

Yelp
Service was great, food was excellent, and had a nice vibe on a Sunday at 1 pm. Seemed like the cool place to be. Was busy but there were a few tables and we didn't have to wait. I had the Norwegian Benedict- basically eggs Benedict but with salmon. I recommend it.
google avatar

Brittany C.

Yelp
Not the hugest fan. Known for their French toast, but I can say it was not memorable. Business is ran more like a diner but I seriously wished the food tasted as well as it pictured.
google avatar

Abby S.

Yelp
Came to Blu Jam for the first time in years and will definitely come back more often. The food (even Vegan options) were so good! I had the Migas and split the Churro french toast and both were so yummy! Food came out promptly, and service was the best! Thanks for taking care of us Manny!!

Yelp
I was a bit disappointed today. I have been craving their huevos rancheros for months, but because of how crowded they get and their lack of parking, I haven't had time to come. I finally had some time to come today and was so looking forward to having the huevos rancheros. Unfortunately, I was completely disappointed. The food came out completely cold. The avocado was underripe. My friend and I ordered the exact same thing. The inconsistency of the amount of potatoes we each got was ridiculous. He got almost double the amount I got for the exact same price. The service was great but totally underwhelmed with the quality of food, and quite surprised because it's one of my favorite breakfast items. I would have complained but I was parked at the meter and didn't have enough time to wait for them to remake it. At least I won't be craving it now. UPDATE: in response to my Yelp review, the manager Jeff, responded to me and invited my friend and I back for a free meal to make up for our previous experience. We took him up on that offer and came this afternoon. Glad we did. Jeff reserved a table for us. We re-ordered the exact same thing, my favorite thing on the menu, huevos rancheros. It was absolutely delicious. Everything was fresh. The potatoes were nice and hot. The avocado was soft. Eggs perfectly prepared and, as always, service impeccable. Jeff, thank you for making it right. You went above and beyond my expectations. Hands down, still one of my favorite breakfast places. If you haven't tried the huevos rancheros, you really need to. Be warned, it's addicting and portion is huge. Well worth the cost.

Yelp
We had Sunday brunch here, there was no wait time and we were seated immediately. The service was fast, and the brunch was good, The chicken taco was marinated perfectly, the blue jam Benedict was also good, the potatoes on the side was lacking taste, maybe some salt would have added to the taste. The iced coffee seemed very sweet to me. The ginger shots were good.

Yelp
Delicious breakfast at this cute diner! Loved everything we got including lemon crepes, chilaquiles, and the scramble. Service was quick and attentive.

Michael S.

Yelp
Ordering by QR code is a bummer and a disincentive to come back... even though I do enjoy the food. Please more waitstaff interaction!

Yelp
I was super excited to check out this location because I just love the WeHo one! Seems like this location is a bit bigger but the service was superb! We came on a Friday morning and there was no wait to get us seated. The waiter we had was super attentive and hilarious! I wish I remembered his name but he had a killer stash to match his personality! The food was delicious as always! However some of my friends were thrown off with the fact that the French toast doesn't come with syrup. That's not a deal breaker for me but if it's important to you BYOS cuz even if you request it, they don't have it. (Which is a little odd). Other than that the drinks were also on point! If you check in through Yelp you get a free ginger shot so we were quick to claim that. I'll definitely be coming back again and again!

Phil D.

Yelp
Very impersonal service. Over priced. I ordered a basic bacon and egg breakfast and everything was cold. Ordered my eggs scrambled soft and they came overcooked. You can't just order a cup af coffee but have to order an $8+ cold press which was lukewarm at best. They said the toast was going to be rustic Italian and it was a plane white bread and only 1 small piece, cold and dry with 1 near frozed tab of butter. Broak the bread trying to butter it! The breakfast potatoes were, again cold, dry and overcooked. You get all that for an over priced $31+. Wow! Save your money. You can get a better breakfast at McDonald's

Yelp
Blu Jam Sherman Oaks!! What A Great Find!! The management here is what makes this place so great, so warm and inviting. FOOD is amazing. I find myself choosing this place every chance I get You can order anything on the menu, and it won't dissapoint!! Great brunch spot with lots of tasty choices. I love to make breakfast tacos for Taco Tuesday! You can see i chose simply eggs in my photo. Tortillas instead of toast! Comfortable indoor or outdoor seating. The servers are friendly and I would be here everyday if I could. I love to see this place busy! Cause you know a busy restaurant is a GREAT restaurant!! Thanks. Carrie

Yelp
Great location in the heart of Sherman Oaks, hence why it's a staple here in this part of the valley. I've been here a few times over the years because of the location convenience, but the food here shouldn't be missed. They're known for their crunch French toast, complete with French berries and a vanilla glaze. But this time I opted for their shakshuka and brunch carbonara. Both dishes came with poached eggs, perfect for brunch. Washed it all down with a dirty matcha with oat milk. The food hasn't changed over the years and hence you can trust that the recipes are tried and true. They have a big outside patio that stretches around the restaurant so finding a seat usually isn't a problem. My only vice is they haven't moved past the COVID service as the waitress only comes over to explain the menu and provide cutlery. It's the seemly popular (most people I know still prefer in-person ordering) QR code and order your food from the website. Doesn't make the wait staff less attentive. We've been checked on for refills on water and bussed regularly. Doesn't mean I wouldn't come back tho. For those who do prefer to order in person, you're still able to walk into the restaurant and order to send to your table. The choice is yours!

Yelp
Man, this place used to be good! I've came twice for brunch in the span of a month and a half and it was a huge disappointment both times. First of all, the restaurant in itself is not clean and neat like it used to be. Broken benches, dirty tables, just a really unwelcoming vibe. Second, the food, both times was pretty bad. This last time I've ordered a salmon omelette and it was almost inedible. Who the heck messes up an omelette? Overcooked eggs, very salty, with a side of not so fresh salad. I've asked for a bit of olive oil for the salad, they brought me something that tasted so rancid I almost threw up. My son got a churro french toast. On paper, it sounds delicious, but it was literally a piece of bread covered in sugar. The espresso was weak. $40 for this average brunch???!! Without the tipping!! And you either pay up front or order through your phone, so basically no in person service, except for when they bring you the food. This is really sad and I will most definitely not be coming back. Take a trip to Europe, see what a truly breakfast restaurant looks like!!!

Yelp
I used to love BluJam but this experience wasn't great. The ordering through the app is fine, but it requires you to tip before you've eaten or had any interactions with servers, which makes no sense. And when I did need a server, it was hard to track down. The food was not what it used to be. The French toast was pretty stale, which was sad because my friend from Texas was excited to try it after my hyping it up. My scramble was okay - a good not great situation. The latte was okay as well, but kind of burnt. Hoping it will change a bit.

Yelp
One of their many locations in the LA area. This place gives a very brunch-vibe. Busy and a place for get-togethers. Service: Mixed review and SUPER IMPORTANT: No one comes to take your order. You scan a code on the table/order from your device or go up to the cashier and order. Not used to that style but the app is user-friendly and the WiFi is surprisingly very fast. Parking: Small parking lot for the restaurant and difficult to find a spot. Street parking in surrounding area. Food: A+. Large portions and the dishes were well cooked. Also did not take long for the food to come out given how busy this place is. Would 100% come back: great vibes and food.

Yelp
This was a super chill dining experience. I was worreid about having to wait a long time, but you were able to virtually get in line before arrival, which was so awesome. The menu was available through a QR code on the table. You also place your order and pay through your phone before your food starts coming out. After that, the service is quick. Our party got the crunchy french toast, churro french toast, eggs benedict, and various coffee drinks. All were hits! Will definitely come back :)
