I went for my Birthday 1/11, amazing experience. We didn't wait long to be seated the servers were polite and consistent. Live violinist amazing. The food was superb the lobster mac and cheese chefs kiss! The waygu skirt steak and waygu bacon and the lamb were the best we've had. The calamari was so fresh omg we just loved everything! The prices were very reasonable. We will definitely be going back for regular date nights.

Went last night , this place is a vibe. The ambience is beautiful. The music is great. The staff is amazing. And the food is to die for! Jake the Manager creates a welcoming atmosphere and keeps everything running smoothly. Trevor was our server and was great and attentive . I am a realtor and love bringing my clients to this establishment and I also come just to hang out . The DJ is from France andplays great music. It’s a great place to connect and hang at !

Blu on the Hudson never misses. The martinis were outstanding—smooth, perfectly chilled, and easily some of the best we’ve had. You can tell real care goes into the bar program. The food was just as strong. The nori tacos (salmon and tuna) were fresh and packed with flavor, the hamachi crudo was light and clean, and the Blu Roll was a standout. The parm sandwich was rich and satisfying to finish it off. Huge shoutout to our server Selvin, who was attentive, professional, and made the experience seamless from start to finish. Great vibes, great service, and amazing drinks—highly recommend.

Tried a little bit of everything here 👀 Overall a solid experience with beautiful vibes and really friendly service. 🥩 Steak & Frites – 3.5/5 Fries were a bit over-fried so they leaned too crunchy and salty. Steak was okay, but it would’ve been better with less of that heavy black butter crust. 🌮 Nori Tacos – 5/5 Really good — flavorful, balanced, and definitely a must-order. 🧀 Cornbread Cheddar Muffins – 4/5 Cute, warm, comforting. Loved that they serve it hot 😋 🍷 Red Wine Short Ribs – 4/5 Pretty good, but personally I wish they didn’t put eggs on top. 🥞 Ricotta Pancakes – 4/5 Soft and fluffy, enjoyable overall. 🍣 Blu Roll – 3/5 Decent, but could be simpler. The top layer had way too much sauce going on. ✨ Vibes & Space – 5/5 Venue is gorgeous — bright, airy, beautiful interior, and great service. 🚻 Only downside: bathrooms could be cleaner and some chairs have noticeable stains. Visited for Thanksgiving. The restaurant’s atmosphere is beautiful. They even had a live violinist although they may have been just for the holiday. The food is interesting and delicious with wonderful flavors! We tried the crab cake, pumpkin bisque, turkey entree with cherry cranberry sauce, brussel sprouts, sweet potato and dressing, squash agnolotti, salmon, and some desserts. Even the cocktails had special touches. The only reason I couldn’t give 5 stars was because our meal ended on a low note when they changed our server. Our first server, Joey, was absolutely phenomenal but then they switched our section to another server who was so lackluster I didn’t even get their name. That change really lowered the experience for us. Overall, I would recommend but am hoping for more consistent service next time.

I visited this restaurant to celebrate my anniversary and was seated immediately upon arrival. The restaurant was absolutely stunning, featuring a beautiful atmosphere and spectacular views of the city. However, I did not anticipate the establishment to be as noisy as it was. They had a DJ or music playing that, although pleasant, was somewhat loud and exceeded my preferred volume level, making conversations difficult. Nevertheless, the staff member serving us was exceptional, demonstrating extensive knowledge of the menu and providing excellent recommendations. Our drinks were very well-crafted, with the bar generous in the amount of alcohol, earning a perfect score. I ordered a dry-aged steak, which was flavorful, alongside seafood mac & cheese and Wagyu bacon, both of which were excellent. Additionally, we tried the spicy lobster pasta in tomato sauce, which was extremely spicy—almost too much to enjoy comfortably. We considered returning it but chose to accept the experience. Overall, I rate this restaurant 4.5 out of 5 stars, primarily due to the noise level and the intense spiciness of the lobster pasta. Would I visit again? Certainly.

It was our first time at the restaurant after hearing great things and it absolutely exceeded expectations. My girlfriend and I loved the diversity of the menu and were blown away by the ambiance, service and food. Our waitress Quinn helped greatly improve the experience through her knowledge of the menu as well as her care to our needs. She reassured that my girlfriend and her allergies would be accommodated. She created a safe environment so we can enjoy our meals stress free. She also made terrific recommendations on menu items as well as drinks that pair best with the food we ordered. Between Quinn and the rest of the staff’s terrific service and the amazing menu we cannot wait to come back and dine again.

We made a reservation for Thanksgiving lunch here. Our table was ready upon arrival. I had a fantastic first impression of the restaurant. Really gorgeous, upscale, beautiful interior. The reception area almost felt like a lobby of a 5 star hotel. Lots of staff, even on Thanksgiving day, making sure guests are having a good time. There's a very large bar as well. We started with calamari, shrimp cocktail and lobster bisque. For entree we had shrimp tempura roll, bronzino, pasta, and A5 wagyu steak. Finally for dessert we had the chocolate s'more, pumpkin cake and the classic carrot cake. All the dishes were top notch. The wagyu had so much rich fat in it. Cakes were delicious. Service was amazing here. Our server Patrick was super nice and helpful. Throughout the dining, they constantly checked on us, took out empty plates and packed our leftovers. Food also came out pretty quickly, no delays. I was very impressed with everything here, will return for sure. They have valet parking for $15. Public parking lot is available at the end of the block, 2-3 minutes walk away.

Ladies drag your man or get your girls dolled up for this magnificent steakhouse experience. Blu on the Hudson is quietly positioned near the water (Hudson river) and inside is both a food influencers or photographers dream. The interior gives Miami or LA dining vibes. I was celebrating a friends birthday The server was incredibly knowledgeable about everything on the menu from pairings of drinks with the cut of steak as well as pairing sides. The manager noticed that our table was taking a while before we had our entrees (which we didn't mind as the experience was nice) and apologized. Our food came, as we ordered the wagyu steak, petit fillet and paired it with mashed potatoes, cream of spinach. We received a cake and a round of sparkling wine on the house. Overall, Blu on the Hudson is a great fit for all occasions.

We came for Mother's Day and loved everything we tried! The service was great. The space is new and beautiful. The location is right across the street from the weehawken waterfront, so there are great views if you're by the windows. The drinks were all fun and delicious. All of the raw appetizers were fresh and delicious. We loved the oysters, Crudo, sushi, and tartare. The steaks were cooked perfectly and the bone marrow was quite the show. It was definitely pricey but I'd come back for a special occasion.

Everything we ordered was exceptional!!!! The waiter did take a while to take our order and come back with our items but once he did, it was perfect! My favorite being the tuna tartare and the ribeye steak! The inside is dimly lit and always very well packed with patrons. I hope to try more sushi and dessert next time we dine!

A very good meal. We went there for our wedding anniversary. The rooms are large and airy but most tables do not have a view of the Hudson River or Manhattan. The cocktails were usual and well balanced. The Burrata appetizer was delicious. The Filet Mignon was very good. The service was attentive.

I had such a great experience here for my brother's birthday that I wish I could list it all. It's just a top notch steakhouse. We tried a variety of items on the menu - from different types of steak, multiple sushi rolls, the rice cakes (!!!), and other enticing appetizers - everything was mouthwatering. The service is impeccable and backs up the price tag. We will be returning for Thanksgiving dinner this year for the first time and I look forward to sharing my review.

Beautiful restaurant with a fantastic view of NYC skyline! Friendly staff and excellent service. We came for brunch on a holiday weekend so the restaurant was not crowded. We sat in the main dining area so we could face the water view. Food was delicious! Corn muffin was a great way to start the meal. It came with five mini ones which was perfect to share. Strawberry pancake was probably one of the best I've had. Steam was coming out as you sliced into it. Lobster roll itself was not bad but the waffle fries that came with it were crunchy and tasty! I would imagine the restaurant would be as beautiful at night...would definitely come back especially for special occasions.

And the tiramisu was rated number one in New Jersey. I highly recommend overall great experience beautiful views of New York City. Please be aware of the dress code that doesn't seem to be enforced all the time. I had reservations here for my birthday and came in a flowy mini dress. I looked through their Instagram to see what others were wearing to get inspiration and I saw short dresses and very short shorts. Upon entering I was greeted by the nice hostess but then pulled aside by a female manager to tell me "woman to woman" advice about how short my dress is and how you can see my butt if I bend over. I had shorts under my dress and when asking about the other girls I saw at the same establishment all they had to say was it is per their discretion. It sounds a bit discriminatory to me. Also nothing about a dress code was mentioned until I mentioned it. During my experience I also saw people in Jordans and other girls in mini dresses. Aside from that the drinks were good and we ordered tuna tartare to start. The tuna tartare was overly salty and I didn't like the crisps it came with. For our entrees we both ordered steaks and for the price point of $46 and $50 you would think it'd be great. The filet mignon was dry and lacked flavor. It was supposed to be cooked medium well and cooked like well done. We also tried the wagyu steak and that was overly salty but had way more flavor than the filet mignon. We both had a side of mashed potato and it was extremely cheesy. Didn't taste anything like potato. They gave us a free dessert for all the trouble which didn't help. Everyone else apologized except for the managers. They could care less if their patrons have a good experience it seems. I won't be returning here and I wish I left immediately. I feel like it's a judgmental environment and I think my dining experience would be much better elsewhere, especially for the high price.

The venue is spacious, and you can truly enjoy the gorgeous view right outside. I celebrated my birthday here with my boyfriend, and we were seated in a cozy booth, which made the evening feel extra special. I started with a lychee martini--absolutely delicious! We also had the shrimp appetizer, which was perfectly seasoned and bursting with flavor. For our mains, I chose the branzino, and he had the lobster fra diavolo. Both dishes were magnificent! The service was attentive and added to the wonderful experience. This restaurant is definitely one of my new go-to spots for a memorable dinner, and I'll be recommending it to friends and family.

First time at Blu on the Hudson! I've been hearing so many good things about this place my expectations were very high. The food was good, but not amazing! This is place is more for the vibes. It's beautiful and lively at night. Great place to celebrate birthdays, girls night or date night. Service was great! Our server was super friendly and engaging. He was very convincing, we ordered many of his suggestions. Appetizers: we ordered colossal crab and Caesar salad. They were very refreshing! Loved the Caesar salad. Dinner: we ordered New York strip medium rare, special of the day was grilled shrimp, bolognese, truffle parm fries, and Brussels sprouts. We added on the bone marrow butter ( additional cost) for extra flavor. Butter was a good touch, but it's not needed. Dessert: Strawberry Shortcake! Delicious! Reminded me of good humor strawberry short cake icecream bars! Loved it! The reason I give it 4 stars instead of 5 is because this place is one of those restaurants you wanted to try, the food was good but not amazing, you want to come back try other dishes. Occasionally I would come back for celebrations, but there wasn't anything that stood out and I would want to come back for.

I've been wanting to come here for a while and finally got around to it! Let me just say that this restaurant did not disappoint!! (Okay maybe 1 part but I'll get to that). First off, the views and the overall ambience of the restaurant was 5/5. We made a resy for my boyfriend's birthday and had a little table right by the window secluded from everyone which had gorgeous views of the water and the city line which never ever gets old. Our waitress was so knowledgeable about the menu and super nice throughout our dinner, I wish I had gotten her name one more time before we left. She made sure we were enjoying everything, gave recommendations, and was attentive. She didn't rush as at all, even when we were the last to finish up dinner. Now onto the food. I mean there's not a single complaint I have. Everything was so perfectly seasoned, juicy, flavorful, colorful, everything you can think of. My absolute favorite was the skirt steak with truffle butter and the Blu Roll was just absolutely insane. Well worth the price for everything on the menu. My only complaint which honestly doesn't even take a star away because that's how good the food was, is obviously the dessert. They have a very minimal menu and I feel like the few options we did try were average, nothing great. The best dessert for me was the carrot cake and I don't like carrot cake in general so that says a lot. OVERALL 10/10 experience, I will 100% be back to try other things on the menu.

I've dined at Blu about three times and can still see myself coming for more - the tried and tested, and the new items. That's testament to the trust I have in the quality and taste of the food served. The drinks are impressive as well. Put them on the Michelin Guide or just give them a star, if they don't already have one. They deserve totally it! In the realm of appetizers, over my three visits I've tried the following: Basque Style Shrimp (5/5) - the shrimp comes basted in a velvety, rich tomato sauce, and with the nice crusty toast points to scoop up the fabulous sauce, this dish is an absolute delight! Octopus (5/5) - perfect cook on the Octopus and the accompaniments on the plate do full justice to the dish. Nothing to fault. This is one to savor. Next, all their pastas are executed to perfection. This includes their spicy and tangy Lobster Fra Diavalo (5/5) the luscious and deep flavored Cacio E Pepe (5/5) and the Vodka Sauce Gnocchi (5/5). The pastas are cooked al dente and the sauces are so well bodied. I cannot pick a favorite, maybe I'll just have them all. Under the sushi category, their Lincoln Harbor Roll and Blu Sushi roll, are both impressive and adorned with quality fish (5/5). You cannot leave Blu on the Hudson without desserts. They're all executed to perfection as well. Tiramisu (5/5) - its presentation and table-side animation is very enjoyable, and the taste is magnificent. Better than most places!! Got this two of the three times I visited. Chocolate Smores (5/5) - if you want yourself something chocolatey, this one is for you. I love every element and for the flavor and factor of enjoyability it presents, maybe it deserves a more attractive name. I know my friends wanted to pass on this because of what it was called, but once they tried it, they were all converted. Quality chocolatey experience! Carrot Cake (4/5): this one comes with some table-side animation too. The carrot cake itself is great, but the coconut flakes is a bit much for me and comes in the way of most bites. Still great, if you're able to get past the heavy handed coconut flakes engulfing this beautiful piece of pastry. Writing this review made me hungry again. Blu does not disappoint!

We visited as a party of six and everything we ordered was well prepared and very tasty. We really enjoyed the food. Unfortunately, the restaurant was uncomfortably cold and very loud, more like a nightclub than a restaurant. Also, they have a number of less desirable tables. Some are very near the bar and some in what is almost a hallway where all of the waiters are walking back and forth to and from the kitchen. Since there is no where to self-park nearby, they have valet parking available for $10.

Our server was very nice. Ge took our drink order. We ordered the Tao Dam and Pain killer. I got the wrong drink, but our server quickly fixed the mistake. The drink presentation was beautiful. For apps, we ordered the beet salad. It was so good. We also ordered calamari and the bacon. All were very good, and portions were generous For our meals, we had bolognese rigatoni and the brazino.for sides we had truffle fries, mushrooms, and charred broccoli. Everything was fresh and great flavor. Foe dessert, we shared the tiramisu. It was presented as a lava cake. The cream was smooth and not overly sweet. Great Meal.

I was so eager to try Blu and was thrilled when my boyfriend surprised me with a celebratory dinner there. We bypassed the valet by taking an Uber, but if we had driven, that service would have at least prevented us from having worry about finding parking. The restaurant was stunning! When you first entered the space, there was a large lounge area with a fireplace. Just beyond that, there were a variety of dining rooms with different vibes, as well as a large square-shaped bar that was completely full. Thankfully, we had a reservation, because the place was packed, and it assured our seating at one of the quieter tables away from the bar area. We first checked out the cocktail list, which had a tropical, mythical vibe, with each drink's description sounding like an inspirational poem. My selection, the Dragon Bluud, arrived in a smoking pitcher that looked like a dragon. The drink was bright blue and poured into a small sake cup. The zesty beverage consisted of cardamom-infused Kettle One Vodka, spiced pineapple syrup, lime, and ginger beer. It was very enjoyable. A sip of my boyfriend's Mixed Emotions provided a multi-layered punch of smoky tequila, sweetness from bloody orange and prickly pear, and peppery notes from basil. The vast food menu offered something for everyone, being not exclusively sushi-focused or meat-centric. I started with the Truffle Rainbow Naruto Roll as my appetizer. It consisted of a thinly sliced cucumber replacing seaweed and rice as the outer layer of the roll, which was filled with raw bluefin tuna, hamachi, salmon, and shiso leaf. The sliced discs were laying in a thin amount of truffle-lime sauce and were topped with regular and black sesame seeds for an added crunch. Unfortunately, I was not blown away by this dish. The fish was fresh, but there was not enough of it in the roll to really be impactful. The sauce was like a watery soy sauce with only the slightest hint of truffle. Overall, I found this to be rather bland and mild. My entree, on the other hand, was much better. The Branzino was served alongside a baby eggplant caponata salad with sprigs of fresh basil. The Mediterranean-style accoutrement was excellent, and I enjoyed the fish as well, though I thought it could have used some salt. I sampled a bite of my boyfriend's Whipped Potatoes and was in awe of how smooth and creamy they were. Lastly, for dessert, we ordered the Flourless Chocolate S'mores, which was so incredibly rich and sinfully delicious! Its gluten-free graham cracker base was topped with a dome of chocolate mousse and marshmallow, which was then further coated with a chocolate ganache. And as if that was not decadent enough, the entire plate was covered in burnt marshmallow, and there was also a scoop of salted fudge cream. It was heavenly! The trendy atmosphere, beautiful people, sexy cocktails, and flavorful food lived up to all of the hype that I had heard about the place. It was perfect for a classy, celebratory dinner, but would also be great for a night out at the bar. Just keep in mind that reservations are key!

Came here on a Saturday afternoon around 4pm and sat at the bar. The restaurant itself was bustling but the bar area was pretty empty when I arrived. Overall its a beautiful atmosphere and vibe. I ordered a Dont Be Shy..and I'd say skip that drink.. it came in a glass hardly filled up with a huge ice cube... I added a picture for reference.. like lol for $19 please be serious..but that was my only gripe during my visit here. The bartender was kind and attentive and the food was good. They have a pretty extensive menu so it was hard for me to choose but I settled on the Wagyu steak and truffle fries. They were both a great portion size and delicious. This is a great restaurant for date night I'm sure, so I'd probably give it another try for that.

This restaurant was one of the best places I've been to in a while! Right on the Hudson (duh) you get views of NYC although you can't really see them from where you are sitting. I was sat immediately at reservation time. My server was extremely attentive and offered suggestions throughout. The food was absolutely delicious and I had no complaints. I just wish I could've ate and drank more honestly! An easy 5/5!

The service was very good the staff was all super friendly and professional. Be careful when things on the menu are extra becuase there is no warning :). The food was all good nothing we had was bad. The sushi was fresh and pasta sauces were super flavorful. The Truffle pasta was a perfect al dente but the Gnocchi was a little overcooked and became too soft. I would recommend trying this place once to cross it off the bucket list but it won't become a go to place since i think there are better options in the area for either sushi (Sushi Cruise) or Italian food (Porto).

Beautifully decorated restaurant sitting across from the Hudson River. I came here with my mother for an early brunch on Sunday and had a splendid experience. Everything we ordered was top tier along with the drinks. The wait staff was super accommodating and nothing went missed. I will definitely be back.

Great spot for a steak and cocktails when in the area. The half naked east coast oysters with tomato granita are a good start and the prime delmonico packs a lot of flavor. None of the sides disappoint with the creamed spinach and crispy cauliflower being the standouts.

I've been wanting to try this place out for a while and I have mixed feelings about it. The interior is super vibey with beautiful views of nyc. The drinks are presented in a cool manor but I honestly thought my drink tasted like cleaning products. We started off with the thick cut bacon and were extremely disappointed. The entire slab was pure fat. It was pretty gross. For dinner we tried the porterhouse. The presentation was cool with the garlic butter in the bone marrow. The steak was pretty good when paired with the mashed potatoes. We also had a side of the truffle fries which were alright. Overall this place has a cool ambiance but the food is a hit or miss. We had an issue with the valet where we never received a text from them. So when we were done dining we were waiting outside in the cold and no one was helping us. That's because we never received the original text to message them when we are done so they can get the car. That was also pretty frustrating.

This place got busy on a Thursday after work. UBS is right next door so I'm sure this is the place for people to grab drinks after work. We decided to sit at the bar but there are plenty of table options. People were waiting for a table at 8pm when we left. They do have social hour at the bar until 6pm. I wish I had known that because I would have ordered more before 6. I tried the Tori tacos - blufin taco - delicious. On the regular menu I got the weehawken roll - scallops and hamachi. Loved it. Was so fresh. I got to try the fried cauliflower too - loved that so much. Especially with that dip - it had a nice kick to it.

They have the real top quality Japanese Waygu steak! Still it was poorly presented - cold and over salted. Shame, it was good quality and properly cooked and ruined by too much salt, and waiting to serve till it got too cold. The place looks wonderful and the evening vibe is very alive. The servers are hard working, but as i mentioned, missed on presenting the food. I complained, and they did move the steak to a heated plate, too late, but i appreciated the effort. Enjoyed the drink, called a Dual, which is their version of an Old Fashion. Overall i will go back but not for $600 of poorly prepared wagyu, The rest, fish and pasta was quite good.

Blu continues to impress and I think only has gotten better since they opened. Amazing seafood options amd the gnocchi might be the best ive ever had. Their cocktails are fun. The steak is both cooked and seasoned perfectly. Will definitely be back soon to try more of the menu!

Here's the deal: it a beautiful place. High end appearance Very large bar area! Large sections for dinning which is nice for conversation. Good spot for business dinner or dates! As for the food. Apps. Rice cakes amazing!! Oysters very fresh! Entrees. Sushi roles very good. The bone in strip steak was "ok" truffle butter is a nice presentation BUT not any change in flavor. MUST GET whipped mashed potatoes! Lot of interesting people to watch! Valet parking in front Would go back

Food- 1. lobster spaghetti - very good and very spicy! Great flavor. 2. Filet mignon-9./10! The flavor on the steak is really great! My steak was a little over cooked IMO, but it was still very good. 3. Creamed spinach- 10000/10- so creamy and flavorful! 4. Truffle fries- 6/10. Freshly cut but hard and overcooked. Some ends of the fries were burnt. The side sauce it came with was really good. Service- We are from VA and We called ahead of time to see if you could wear hats inside the restaurant so we knew what to pack, someone told us yes, only to get there and be told by the manager and security, when couldn't wear his LA dodgers ball cap , even though there was a man that had on a kangol type hate on and no one said anything to him. Ambience : This place is on the water and has a beautiful lit back drop of the city. Although, as we were walking in, i saw a rat crawl around. Inside is simply lit with a romantic flirty vibe. We sat outside and you can really have a city hide while you eat your dinner. However, we did see a rat run across where we were eating to get away. We contacted the server and he moved us and the manager came by to apologize and give us an explanation of the cool construction site beside them tends to bring rodents but they do their best in keeping a perimeter from around the outside, and they do! She sent us over 2 free glasses of Champagne, which I'm not sure was for the rat i saw, or if they do that for anyone celebrating their anniversary. After our server bought the check, he brought out a chocolate plate that said happy anniversary. Overall, the many good, over the bad, this place is worth going to. The food is def something to taste and experience because it's really good

The ambiance is beautiful as soon as you walk in regardless if you sit inside or outside. The service is 1000/10 Ray our server was a superstar. I had a lobster roll it came with waffle fries, it was on the smaller side but it was good. The truffle fries and crab and shrimp salad were the star or the food. The drinks were wonderful all of them! A little bit on the pricier side but I think so worth it.

Such a lovely time here. It's absolutely beautiful inside, outside. Premium eatery in the area. The reservation we had was lost but because I was kindly persistent the waiters found a way to slide us into the bar area as priority, which I appreciated. We ordered different steaks and Brussels sprouts, mashed potatoes, fries, cauliflower, and mocktails. All were good. The only thing that let me down was the bathroom decor/design. Not on the equal level of stunning imo. The environment is for the elite. You'll be fine here if you're a single woman solo - men will chat you. Couples will have the most lovely experience. Can't wait to return! It's on my favorite list! Go, enjoy!

When it came to going out for my birthday, there was no questions, I was going to Blu. This has been on radar for some time and I couldnt wait to venture out to this facility. I made a reservation for 815 pm and was there at that time. As we pulled up, we noticed parking on your own without walking a few blocks, was out of the question....so we valet our car. It cost $10 (beforehand) for valet parking. This restaurant is gorgeous and bigger than it looks outside. It was packed with tons of people dressed really well. There was even a football player or two there (I was told by accompanied partner). We were seated in the general front section with quite a few other folks as we await our table. We waited an additional 20 to 25 minutes for our table despite our reservation and arriving on time. We were then approached by a young lady who took us the farthest right side behind the bar to our table. Our waiter came prompt to your table to take our order and provided us with water. I ordered the silver garden which was a hyped up mojito cocktail. It was very pretty and pretty good. For appetizer, I ordered the calamari, it was good. And for dinner we order the porter house steak - medium with creamed spinach and truffle fries. Our porter house was ordered with the bone marrow truffle butter. OUR FOOD WAS DELICIOUS!!! We had no complaints at all. For dessert, we ordered the carrot cake. there wasnt many choices for dessert but we were happy with our decision. They brought out a candle with dessert and provided us with complimentary champagne for my birthday. Overall, food was good, service was good, ambiance was beautiful. I am definitely keeping this spot as a go-to, especially for special occassions!

Ambiance- very chic, welcomed by friendly hosts and electric, rock fireplace, high ceilings, indoor and outdoor seating and a huge, trendy bar towards the back Food- we were pleasantly Service- Brandon was our server and he aimed to please. Table service was on top of refilling Water, cleaning up dirty plates and replacing silverware. My first cocktail was too sweet and he didn't give up- he found me another that I would not have tried and I liked it. We were surprised on how good the food was. App- Tuna crisp, wow, salty, sweet crunchy Dinner- gnocchi with spicy vodka sauce (yes it was spicy- but so good) and the Bronzino that was crispy on the outside and full of flavor. The portions are not big so if you are very hungry I recommend getting one app each and a main. We were not super hungry so we were happy with what we had. Wish I had room for dessert- the dessert menu had some very good choices.

I hear it's So hard to get reservations. We walked in around 6:30 on Saturday n got lucky, there was seats at the bar. Love the eccentric cocktail menu. Presentation is amazing! The pink killer comes in its own flamingo floaty. The octopus ap was delish , the salmon was perfectly cooked n seasoned, the truffle fries were crispy. It's a place to go n get seen. The entrance has great fire place.

One of the spots I have high expectations for since we go here on the regular with friends. We started with the lobster app that was incredible. Moved onto the roll with crawfish and A5 hand rolls that are freezing cold. We sent those back because we had those several times prior to tonight. We then went on to have some nigiri that was incredible and the A5 nigiri was perfect. We then ordered a A5 rib cap around 8-9 ounces med rare including a few pastas. It took around 54 minutes for everything to come out after I asked 20 mins prior. The A5 came out with completely burnt exterior and a decently med interior. They overcooked the heck out of it unfortunately. It seems they cooked it right to begin with let it sit and then recooked it realizing they never served us. I couldn't be more disappointed with blu after this move. We've ordered numerous times in person and delivery and this was by far just pure disappointing. Honestly that may be it for us.

By far the best restaurant with a waterfront view, on the Jersey side of the river. This restaurant is extremely spacious with two dining options: traditional dinner menu and a sushi menu. Sushi is also offered on the full dinner menu and was incredible. Truffle Rainbow and the Lincoln Harbor Roll were so good! The absolute star of the show was the whipped potatoes with Parmesan cheese. Steak was cooked to perfection; medium rare for me. Lobster Fra Diavolo came with the entire lobster and was on the spicier side. Cocktails will take you by surprise with each presentation. Try the Silver Garden for a special show. The Dragon Blüüd is their version of a Moscow Mule but way more delicious and comes in a unique glass. Even if you were only interested in cocktails, Blu offers a 40 person bar. They also carry every brand of high end vodka that you can think of.

Our entire experience from the moment we walked in until we walked out was filled with amazing and attuned service. We were awed by how beautiful the interior design of the restaurant was and how you had the option to choose between casual (the bar area) or formal and romantic (main dimlit dining hall). We came to celebrate my wife and I's wedding anniversary and the birth of our baby girl. Our waitress, Justice, was extremely considerate and attuned to our needs. Adam, our sommelier, checked in on us multiple times and addressed any concerns that we had. They recently changed their drink menu selections, so they were genuinely interested in our opinion about their drinks, which demonstrates how much effort they put into providing an elegant fine-dining experience and their sincere passion towards refining their menu to the best of their capabilities. The service provided to us was definitely exemplary and demonstrates what true 5-star hospitality should look like! Now onto the food: Prime Delmonico with Truffle Butter (4/5 stars): The cut was nice with a rich outer layer of fat to balance the fresh beefy flavor of the steak. The char and seasoning were on point. Although some parts of the beefs were rawer than the other, Justice made sure to take care of it and had the steak cooked to our liking. The truffle butter was fun to watch it torched on top of the steak, but it didn't really enhance its flavor much, for we could barely taste the truffle. If you want to enjoy a nice little presentation, then sure go for it, but I would recommend getting other sauces instead. This can be an easy fix though, which entails either incorporating a higher intensity of truffle into the butter or leaving some on the side for diners to tailor to their liking. Lobster Fra Diavolo (4/5 stars): The lobster was pleasantly sliced up for an easier consumption; my wife found the lobster to be incredibly fresh and perfectly cooked, where the meat was tender and juicy! The pasta was cooked perfectly al dente, and the sauce was flavorful. Overall, a pretty large portion and reasonably priced dish, good enough to share! The Blu Roll (2.75/5 stars): Unfortunately, we did not share in the same experience as other diners towards this dish. Our toro was more on the rougher side, which might be due to a bad batch/cut. However, our server was receptive towards our feedback and informed us that she would let the chef know. These things happen and it's impossible for the chef to taste all cuts of fish, especially toro since it's extremely pricey and each piece counts. Nonetheless, I hope they can do their best to ensure that their toro are as fresh as possible moving forward! Creamed Spinach (5/5): Not much to say about this side dish except that it was rich and creamy as it should be. It was also seasoned perfectly that it paired quite well with the steak. Would recommend this dish if you like creamed spinach! Crispy Cauliflower (4/5): Very well-seasoned and battered, where it paired nicely with the spicy avocado aioli. My wife underestimated how spicy the sauce was but if you can handle moderate levels of spiciness, it's pretty good. A nice shareable side for the table I would say! Overall, despite some hiccups with some of the food items, we still enjoyed our dining experience to the fullest, and that's thanks to the amazing service provided by both Justice and Adam; there's not a moment where we felt neglected and we always felt heard and understood, especially when we had some mild dissatisfactions. A true fine-dining experience was provided to us this evening; not all foods and drinks will always be perfect, but steps taken to ensure that these minor issues are appropriately addressed and do not detract from the enjoyment of the meal is needed to reflect a true elegant fine-dining experience, and the staff at Blu on the Hudson executed that flawlessly. It was my pleasure to celebrate our wedding anniversary and birth of our baby girl with Blu on the Hudson, and I look forward to returning for an even better experience! Service was super slow. Luckily I went with some old friends and we were busy catching up, but it took a long time to get through dinner. We were a party of 4 and only got steaks and a few sides and it took about 2 hours to get dinner. Any other time I would make a bigger deal about it. Steaks were good, nothing to go crazy about. Sides were all tasty. Favorites were the whipped potatoes and Brussels sprouts. The spinach was good but had a spinach artichoke dip consistency, so would have liked it a little thicker. The location is great. Right on the water and great views of NYC. The restaurant itself is also beautiful. Parking is valet only and $10. The parking garage is close by and around the corner, but is $10 for the first two hours so you're not saving any money. Just park at the valet is my recommendation and save yourself the walk.

Love Blu on the Hudson! I highly recommend this spot. I recently went here with my husband to celebrate my birthday. It's a great date night spot. We were seated in a both near the bar, which was private, but right next to the vibrant atmosphere. I love cocktail menus, and I enjoyed the Mixed Emotion drink, I cannot wait to return and sample some more. We ordered a sushi roll to start, cant remember which one, and it was delicious. For my entree I ordered the Lobster and it was delicious. My husband got a skirt steak with mashed potato on the side, it was the best mash we have ever received at a restaurant. The service was fabulous our waiter was attentive, while also allowing us to take our time. We will definitely be back to celebrate some other events.

First time visiting this restaurant. Enjoyed the beautiful ambiance , food & drinks. Lemon drop & Old Fashioned for drinks. Both were made perfectly. Of course we got another round. For Starters , we had the Lincoln Harbor Sushi Roll , & Caesar Salad . Both were tasty , light and refreshing. For Entree, * Wagyu Skirt Steak w/ Truffle Butter Sauce (Temp. Medium) Was amazing, truffle butter sauce definitely was a great add on. * Branzino was delish, crispy and flavorful on the outside , tender on the inside. The Eggplant salad was different but I enjoyed it. * For sides we had Truffle Creamed Spinach & Whipped potatoes. Both were great compliments for our entrees . We didn't have dessert this time because we were stuffed and satisfied. Next time we come we will be sure to save room for some. Service was top notch, from the Valet , the front door host that opened the door for us, the lovely ladies at the front that seated us. Our waiter name was Jesus, great energy he gave us, enjoyed him as our waiter.
