Five Blue Bottle Shops to Unionize in Boston | Eater Boston

"Staff at the Prudential Center location joined a coordinated union drive across several Boston-area shops, arguing that current pay and working conditions make it difficult to afford living in the city and that employees lack meaningful input in cafe operations. Workers reported inadequate training, frequent managerial turnover, managerial apathy about complaints, and facility problems. They formed an independent, democratically governed union to control demands, strategy, and finances, have given the company a deadline to recognize the union voluntarily, and intend to pursue formal NLRB certification if necessary." - Erika Adams

Blue Bottle Coffee Opens at Boston’s Prudential Center | Eater Boston

"Located in the Prudential Center at 800 Boylston St. in Back Bay, this new café from a California-based roaster opens with a community day on Tuesday, July 10 (free coffee; all food and merchandise sales that day benefit Artists for Humanity, and customers can also donate to the charity at local locations), followed by a grand opening on Wednesday, July 11 and regular hours of 7 a.m.–7 p.m. daily (community day hours 9 a.m.–3 p.m.). The menu follows the chain’s usual offerings—various pour-over and espresso options alongside pastries and Liège-style waffles—while the interior, designed by Bohlin Cywinski Jackson, aims to evoke Danish “hygge” and the exterior envelope was completed by Cube 3 Studio of Lawrence, Massachusetts. The opening continues the company’s recent Boston expansion after earlier locations in Harvard Square (February) and downtown (May) and adds to its footprint across several U.S. states and select locations in Tokyo and Kyoto." - Rachel Leah Blumenthal

Blue Bottle Coffee at the Prudential Center is one of the best spots in Boston if you care about high quality coffee. The drinks here are consistently excellent. They offer a great variety, from single origin drip coffee to freshly brewed cups and of course a full menu of espresso based drinks. Everything tastes rich, smooth, and crafted with care. They also serve matcha and have a nice selection of pastries if you want something to snack on alongside your drink. For anyone who likes making coffee at home, they sell their coffee bags here as well, which makes it easy to bring the same quality home with you. The only thing to keep in mind is that it is almost always busy. This location draws a big crowd and there is often a line. If you are looking for a quick in and out experience this might not be the place for you. If you do not mind waiting, the payoff is absolutely worth it because the coffee is some of the best around. Overall Blue Bottle Coffee at the Prudential Center is a must visit for coffee lovers. The quality is excellent, the variety is wide, and the atmosphere has that bustling energy that makes it feel like part of the city’s rhythm. It is the kind of café you go to when you want more than just caffeine, you want a cup that has been prepared with precision and care.

This store is open at new years day. Great. Bravo for the Blue bottle team. Happy new year 2026.

Google
Pretty average coffee. Got 2 winter latter and NOLA iced coffee. Found it very mild and diluted. Iced coffee was loaded with ice (water). 2 coffees including tip 17$! That’s almost a meal for 1 person. 🤦🏻‍♂️🤷🏻‍♂️ not sure why coffee is so expensive in a mall. There’s no cozy seating, no cafe experience, no privacy, no ambience. But price is high end. Not worth!!!

Google
Beautiful spot with a clean, modern vibe. The latte was perfectly smooth with lovely foam art, and the staff were friendly and efficient. Great place to take a break while shopping in the Prudential Center. Definitely worth the stop for coffee lovers!

Edmond J.

Google
Such a great place for coffee! Conveniently located in the Prudential Center, Blue Bottle Coffee is right there for you to enjoy. Much like any other coffee places, they offer coffee, expresso based drinks, and pastries. We enjoyed our experience at Blue Bottle Coffee. You will too!

Google
The coffee is truly excellent! I placed an online order recently and it went through successfully, but when I arrived to pick up my order, the employee at the register informed me that their Internet was down and that the online orders were not available to them that morning. They asked for the order and then made it quickly on the spot without charging me again; the customer service was very good. I’m not sure how frequently Internet issues occur at this location, so it might have been a fluke, but hopefully they can turn off the online ordering system next time.

Google
Simple and fast. Maybe it was too early but it wasn’t busy at all. Quick stop for coffee.

Google
Chris The barista at the bar was excellent and helped me out. I definitely recommend this place. Bring your family and enjoy great people.

Yelp
Came here for a quick coffee to go and it was a nice experience! This cafe is located in the mall so it's a nice and convenient pick me up while shopping. There's several indoor seating available and they offer small snack items like waffles or packaged protein bars. I got their hot matcha latte with oat milk and really liked it (5/5). The matcha flavor was pungent and the drink was creamy. There was a long line but it moved along relatively quickly. This cafe is a chain, but I've always had good experiences at every shop that I go to, so it's a reliable place for me.

Yelp
Loved the winter latte. Too crowded in the middle of the mall. Was a long wait. Enjoyed the latte however.
google avatar

Yelp
Is it a $6 waffle? Yes Is it delicious? Heck yeah They make the waffle to order so it takes a little patience. The waffle is soft on the inside and crispy outside with a light dusting of sugar. You can people watch as you wait since it's in a busy part of Prudential.
google avatar

Ryna D.

Yelp
Another tried and true classic. We love that we can rely on Blue Bottle's quality regardless of which location we go to. Excellent espresso, as always!!
google avatar

Sharmeela S.

Yelp
Nola coffee hot was excellent. During a conference, I ordered one everyday. Nearly $6 it was a splurge but a welcome treat.

Joe C.

Yelp
Great coffee, friendly staff and a vibrant location. They have multiple locations and we tried two, both of which were excellent. Would definitely recommend.
google avatar

Marissa L.

Yelp
Blue Bottle is in a very convenient spot in the Pru where multiple hallways converge, so it's easy to get to. They had a decent-sized line every time I went, but I ordered on the app and the drinks were ready quickly. They have a small amount of seating, but be prepared for it to be on the louder side since this location doesn't really have any walls separating it from the rest of the mall.

Yelp
Here at the Prudential Mall in Boston visiting family and just had the best coffee , got a mocha coffee for me and wifey ordered a Capuchino ... Excellent
google avatar

Kim V.

Yelp
We were walking through The Prudential Center and needed our coffee fix. We saw this place and decided to try it out. The prices were pretty high we noticed but decided to try it anyway. I had the iced cardamom latte which was already lightly sweetened; I tasted the cardamon but it's nothing to write home about. I didn't read reviews until after and wished I ordered the Nola coffee instead; oh well maybe next time. The service was fast and friendly though, despite there being a line. The decor was very simplistic, open, and clean looking with some seating.
google avatar

Jill C. J.

Yelp
I thought a pretty weak cup of coffee for the price. I got a Sumatran pourover and it was quite pricey and both a bit weak and a bit sour. Staff was nice and maybe they do better with the fancier drinks. Don't get the pure straight-up back coffee here though. I was disappointed. A friend had talked about having a cup of coffee at Blue Bottle and I said, "how did it taste?" He said, "expensive." I went to try to prove him wrong but he was on the nose.

Yelp
In Boston's Copley Mall , (walkable if youre staying at the Marriott, Sheraton, Westin and the Mandarin O. ). BBC serves up the best American coffee in the area. It is packed here most of the hours they are open except for the first hour. Service is brisk, just like the Fall weather in Boston :) They are aware how busy people are so they get the line moving best they can. Blue Bottle and Eataly's Lavazza coffee ( tradizional Italian coffee) are the best in the city hands down and if you're in the area, you're in luck-- they are both in the Copley. End of Yelp.
google avatar

David G.

Yelp
Had an excellent pour over when visiting Boston. My advice is to drink it black to fully appreciate the amazing nuances of flavor in the coffee
google avatar

Brent S.

Yelp
Great location. Staff were all very personable, kind and helpful. Blue Bottle is some of my favorite coffee. Iced NOLA all the way every time for me! Open air sunny location which gives a nice atmosphere.
google avatar

Tatevik A.

Yelp
my favorite spot to go every day, I love this place so cozy and peaceful, you get your cup of coffee and enjoy it.
google avatar

Monica C.

Yelp
I've been to this location of Blue Bottle several times over the past year and unfortunately, the quality of the drinks seems to have changed over my recent visits compared to in the past. For example, the iced Nola had a weird metallic aftertaste, and the caffe latte proportions seemed to be off -- approx 1/3 heavy flavorless foam topping and 2/3 actual coffee. Given the price, the quality/substance seems to be a mismatch. I still like Blue Bottle coffee as a whole, and used to love the quality of drinks at this location, but not sure if something has changed in the management or making of drinks at this particular location recently. The ambience is nice, though, has a great location at the heart of the Prudential mall overlooking the outdoor terrace space with lots of natural light and lively atmosphere.

Yelp
Strolling through the Pru, it was time for coffee. We stopped blue bottle and the menu items looked intriguing. They have a black cardamom latte which was surprising because that's a strong spice as compared to the green cardamom. But hey, maybe they make it well. The price however was stronger (read: steeper) than the spice. So we skipped it and chose a spiced NOLA style coffee in a 12 oz cup. It was delicious. Frothy and tasty and hot like we asked for it. Bonus for compostable cup and lid. Would stop by again!
google avatar

Kristen C.

Yelp
Ice Nola is one of my new favorites. Has a little kick to it without being overpowering. I order the concentrate and ask them to fill with a little bit of water. Def a great kick and doesn't give you anxiety! Quick service and located right near the entry of the Pru.

Yelp
This trendy, luxurious, specialty roaster coffee brand has a location right in front of the entrance to the Prudential Tower in the mall. First with the positive: the quality of the coffee and taste of the latte I had was fantastic, no doubt. Only reason my rating is this high is because of that. If you're like me and enjoy finding artisan/high quality coffee locations to try out what they have, this is one you should taste... if you're willing to shell out boku bucks and get a small size that is! Which brings me to the negative... While the coffee itself is great, the largest size iced latte you can get is small in my opinion, only 12 oz.! Really? Not even 16? I consider 20 to be the standard for a "large." And the worst part is, it's $7.80 for that little cup! It was kind of baffling, and just not worth it in my opinion. Lattes shouldn't be $7 or more, they just shouldn't, unless you're maybe getting 24+ oz. somehow and/or like 3+ flavors. Another negative is they don't even have the very standard vanilla flavor that every coffee place should have. But the one I got, like I said, tasted excellent. It better have for how little amount you get and how much guacamole you have to fork over....

Yelp
Sustainable coffee shop located in the prudential. I wanted a little pick me up and I've heard great things about blue bottle. I opted for the iced New Orleans style coffee just to try something new. It has chicory in it so it made it taste nutty and smoky. Reading the past reviews made me scared because of the poor service and attitude but I didn't encounter that when I was there. Everyone was very nice and helpful.
google avatar

Jesan A.

Yelp
The lattes here are definitely made with care and are top quality. The staff are working 24/7 and the place is so busy at all times of the day. Highly recommend you try some of their specialties like the Nola or Cardamom latte.
google avatar

Frances L.

Yelp
You can never go wrong with Blue Bottle coffee! They make the best cold brew and I LOVE the NOLA iced coffee. It's sweet, creamy and so smooth. My sister tried mine and fell in love. We had one every morning during our Boston trip.

Jax R.

Yelp
I stood behind one register waiting behind someone and another staff member started taking other customers at a different register that was behind multiple groups standing around like they were waiting for their drinks. Then, the person at the register I was at left when they closed out the person ahead of me without so much as saying "the line starts over there." I tried to get multiple employees' attention and they all actively looked away. When someone finally acknowledged me and I asked why there wasn't a clear line, they just said "I don't know what to tell you" while twirling their hair. Absolutely abysmal, I'm sure the only way they get business is because it's in the middle of the gd pru. Saturday 9/7 about 12:40pm
google avatar

Eva G.

Yelp
First time trying this place out. Usually it's closed by the time I walk thru the Prudential Center to pick up dinner when I'm in town. Today I ordered an iced Hojicha Latte with oat milk. It's comparable to a matcha latte, maybe a bit more nuttier tasting. I enjoyed it but their drinks here are on the pricier side compared to the other coffee shops in the area. One thing I do like that they use recyclable cups.
google avatar

Landon F.

Yelp
Super overpriced for what you receive. Not much menu option and menu was super small to see while at the register. Staff was rushing me to get my order and it took upwards of 15 minutes to receive it. Coffee was maybe 6 oz and cost me $11.
google avatar

Marlena V.

Yelp
I'm the pickiest woman on the planet when it comes to my iced coffee. I like it strong enough to sprout chest hairs, creamy and sans sugar. I've been to this location multiple times over the years and cannot tell a lie- I'm obsessed with their iced coffee. If only Rhode Island would get with the program. I tried their NOLA cold brew last week and was instantly blown away. Like, that coffee was everything to me. (In fact I'm so obsessed I immediately ordered the kit online!) I also grabbed a pastry which I can't quite remember what the filling was (I think it was apricot) but it was super crispy and delicious. Unfortunately despite how amazing their coffee is, I had to knock off a star for their crummy customer service and absolutely terrible paper straws. It was completely dead when I placed my order and the woman seemed genuinely miffed that I was there. As for the straws, regardless of the paper vs. plastic straw debate, theirs are seriously some of the worst out there. I wasn't even half done and the damn thing was already disintegrating. (I usually bring a reusable tumbler with me but forgot it this trip.) I ended up going through two just to finish. Also for some very odd reason they gave me the coffee in a hot cup- I'm assuming due to supply chain issues. Still though, if you're tired of watery iced coffee, their NOLA is the best you can get.
google avatar

Angela K.

Yelp
I always like blue bottle coffee because they are pretty consistent in all of their locations. This one is located in a big stall in a large luxury mall. The staff are very friendly and service is quick for your coffee. I recently started a non-dairy diet so I ordered a latte with oat milk. I know that out milk has a very strong flavor, but in this case the milk almost over powered the coffee
google avatar

Jenny T.

Yelp
Coffee was good, but nothing special... don't get the hype honestly. Packaging and store is cute though, especially their cups and paper straws.
google avatar

Leiyanne R.

Yelp
Drinks: This was my first time trying Blue Bottle and I was not disappointed! I rarely ever order green tea-based drinks if they are pre-sweetened but the hojicha latte was too enticing. If you prefer unsweetened drinks like me, be forewarned that their matcha and hojicha bases are slightly pre-sweetened but it wasn't too overpowering for me. Hojicha was earthy and refreshing! Will be visiting other Blue Bottles in LA in the future.
google avatar

Mehrnaz H.

Yelp
A great location for a Blue Bottle coffee stand, right in the middle of the mall. The location is spotless, the staff was super friendly and helpful. The coffee was as expected with Blue Bottle. Ordered a hot latte and a cold brew. They both were prepared fairly quickly and properly made. Nice job team BB...
google avatar

Tiffany D.

Yelp
A letdown. The location is so convenient - in the middle of Prudential mall, and there is typically indoor seating (closed due to COVID currently), but it's right next to the courtyard area where there are tables and benches to sit. I'm so disappointed because I heard great things about Blue Bottle Coffee, however I found their lattes to be so weak - as if I could only taste the milk. We also got the New Orleans coffee, which was okay, but it's hard to justify the price for just okay coffee. Overall, the coffee is not worth in my opinion (more pricey compared to other coffee shops nearby), but I'm giving it two stars because of the location and the baristas were friendly.
google avatar

David F.

Yelp
EASILY THE WORST coffee cafe I've ever been to! I ordered a beverage and got such a small cup, I thought it was a joke! Then they charged me over $9 for it! The young woman who took my order just said "over there." I had to ask her: "What do you mean?, but she was unable to explain herself. I waited awhile and asked someone else and finally got my very small, outrageously priced coffee. It wasn't ho, and after a short time it was cold. I went back up and explained that my new coffee wasn't hot, I asked if she could just add in a little hot coffee, but the young woman looked completely confused and then, amazingly, said "No." my guest, also surprised at horrible service, got up and ordered two more coffees. These two new coffees tasted so bad, it's hard to believe. We threw them both out and left. The customer service and the coffee was easily the worst I have seen in a very long time.
google avatar

Hiwot A.

Yelp
Love this place! Because of the coffee I had here now I drink my coffee with our sugar. It is a beautiful setting. I'll try to go to the one in DC soon.
google avatar

Brittany R.

Yelp
I'm loyal to Blue Bottle Coffee and almost exclusively this Blue Bottle location. I really am not one to obsess over getting my coffee every day because I guess I can be a bit picky when it comes to the quality/how it's made. I'm not into those other places that add a ton of artificial flavoring/things that cover up the actual taste of the coffee. FINALLY, there is a place where I feel compelled to get a coffee every time I pass by. Whether it's to just quickly run in and grab my mobile order or to sit down in this cafe, I always feel that this location is consistent, clean, has great staff, and of course offers a quality product. My go-to has to be the New Orleans Style Iced, with oat milk (again love it here because they were one of the first to offer oat milk!). The taste is great, no need to add any other sweeteners or flavorings and again you get a coffee worth spending money on. They also have fantastic matcha, and lots of other unique items for beverages/food. 10/10 will always recommend!
google avatar

Alex L.

Yelp
Came here on 9/8/22 and got the smaller size Nola Cola for $5.88 after tax. The drink is on the smaller size, which can be good or bad - I'm more of a quality over quantity person when it comes to caffeine so I didn't mind too much, I got enough. No line when I came on a weekend afternoon, my drink was made fresh immediately after being ordered, no complaints on service or freshness. Oh my god the Nola Cola is so good. Cold brew, seltzer, and a a dash of a spiced vanilla syrup/sweetener - definitely reminds me of a cola beverage, but also has the unmistakeable cold brew taste as well. At nearly $6 before tip, it's admittedly not even close to the cheapest coffee option out there. But if you're looking for caffeine and to treat yourself a little bit more than the usual Dunks or Starbs, definitely come by and give one of the drinks here a try.
google avatar

Bonnie C.

Yelp
Sipping on their New Orleans iced coffee as we speak and I'm loving every moment of this. $6.70 (I like to add a dollar tip the baristas) for this is pretty worth it considering that is how much I pay for a latte nowadays. This coffee is sweet and nutty with an amazing aftertaste. In terms of the space, I love how open it is with plenty of seats and natural sunlight. I will be back

Yelp
Honestly if I could 0 star to this location I would, I have been to the blue bottle coffee shop at Havard Square and it was amazing. But the store at the Prudential mall is HORRENDOUS. White Cashier on Sunday January 2nd, 2022 around 5:30 PM was extremely rude. I walked from Copley Square to the Prudential just to introduce my family to Blue Bottle coffee and I was honestly humiliated by this cashier attitude in front of all my relatives. Upon our arrival took her few minutes to acknowledge we standing in front the cashier register for at least 5 minutes while she took her time breaking down the coffee station. When she finally came to the register she said rolling her eyes and ask me with a nasty attitude: - Are you ready to order? my family had tons of questions - First question: Do you have hot chocolate? Her response was NO, again rolling her eyes and mubling through the mask. ( We knew they had hot chocolate, she did not want to do it, because the other barrista ask her are we really out of hot chocolate? Second question: can we please have 3 cappuccinos? Her response AGAIN NO - Only americanos no cappuccinos ( what kind coffee shop doest not have cappuccianos?????? ) she said we are about to close, and gave me a nasty look again. As I was there bagging for free stuff. I said: OK I will have 3 americanos Third question: What size do you have? She pointed with a real nasty miserable attidude to the cups. I said 3 small americanos She again looked at the barista as it was the end of the world to make 3 coffees, and said something and they both start laughing. She rang up the order and said the amount I told her I am not done yet I want few pastries too please. She literally smashed the two pastries inside the bag and said the amount. I paid - my brother who understands english well was disgusted by her attitude and want to speak with a manager. I told him Let's do better let's e-mail and yelp because that way hopefully they use this review to try to improve their employees attitude believe is not the brand itself. Is this miserable soul who is trying to making everyone lives living hell. When the barrista finished the coffees, she shoulted: - WE ARE CLOSING!!!!!!!! I said I need lids for those before I run she pointed to lids holder and kept staring at us. I told her I don't know what your problem is but this is not okay. She literally walked away - at this point we all felt beyond unconfortable and my wife asked me I don't know why do you insist in coming here. It happen the samething last time they always run out of everything and they always are rushing to close the store. Never coming back again to this location - also we had to threw away the coffees because the barrista made them beyond strong. Honestly don't wast your money going to this store. Not worthy! Search on google for other coffee shops at the area. We all end up going to L.A. Burdick Handmade Chocolates and the experience made our day.

Yelp
Coffee is good . Different than starbucks. More bitter. I had the Costa Rica beans. Takes a bit of time to get it but good coffee all the same.

Julie S.

Yelp
Coffee was ok...very overpriced. No customer service, unfriendly, unpleasant staff. Won't be back.
google avatar

Ashley Y.

Yelp
Hmm... I was told that this was something you had to have if you go to the city with blue bottles coffee. I did my experience and I had to say sorry, it's really not my cup of coffee again.

Louise C.

Yelp
The service was so bad!!! The girl picking up my order was quite nice but the barista was unreasonably rude to me. I ordered my coffee, then I thought I heard my name so went to pick up my coffee, but not sure which section I should pick up, then saw some coffee sitting on the table so I checked them, the barista (a heavy set guy) was like, those are NOT YOURS, those are online orders, what's your name? (I said my name) He was like, I haven't called you yet! I was like ok sorry...then when he finally called me, I went to search for my coffee, he was like, Pick up is here!! And my thought was, why do you have to be so rude man like why....?

Yelp
This Blue Bottle is great! I was a Blue Bottle hater for a very long time because I found it really pretentious, but damn the Gibraltars at this location are THE BOMB. It tastes better than the San Francisco Ferry Building and financial district's renditions on the same drink and is better than amazing espresso drinks I've had in Central Europe. This location is very bright, spacious, and clean and there's a ton of seating indoors and out (by the Prudential garden). Orders do take time to process, so save yourself some time by ordering off the app!
google avatar

Yelp
Hello! Coffee place PI over here. Blue bottle is probably one of my favorite go places! I will admit that the prices are a bit more expensive compared to your local cafes. A ice mocha with taxes is about $5.88 total. Definitely will admit it's a bit expensive for a coffee but so totally worth it. They only have one size for their drinks but don't be alarmed because of the sizing. If you get a latte from this place and think that because it's so small it's not gonna have any caffeine, you are so wrong! Their lattes pack a big punch! Whenever I get a latte I'm so wired to the point I feel like I'm that energizer bunny that never stops and feel like my heart is palpitating. Woahhhhhh! I'm not sensitive to caffeine either, so if you need a strong pick me up. This place right here is your go to! I've never had a bad drink one time from here and it's always consistent no matter which barista who makes my drink. Staff is always so nice and accommodating, the only thing that does take a bit is when drinks are being made especially during morning rush or when the line gets to be bit long. Cute, minimal decor and seating.

Yelp
I enjoyed some of the best tea in Boston at the Prudential Center Blue Bottle Coffee. Excellent, strong flavor. Definitely recommend.
google avatar

Chute H.

Yelp
Great coffee but slow service. People are accustomed to getting coffee quickly, not waiting for a latte.
google avatar

Yelp
I live in the Bay Area, and Blue Bottle is my go-to spot for cold brew, so when I saw there was one in Boston, I had to make a stop. This rave review is for the barista at this location who helped me this AM--whose name I failed to catch. I'm understanding when it comes to the amount of cold brew I'm poured because I ask for no ice and a tablespoon of milk. Most baristas will leave me with 3/4 of a cup of cold brew (and too much milk). That's standard. I'm fine with it. But this gentleman asked if I wanted to pour my own milk AND asked if I wanted him to top off my cup after realizing I didn't add nearly as much milk as he assumed I would. It might sound silly, but those small gestures are what bring back customers. If I lived in Boston, this would be my go-to location.
google avatar

Katie U.

Yelp
Very cool concept of brewing each cup individually and craft cold brew. I read a book about this company so it made it even that more intriguing. This location is an open concept in the middle of the mall. I walked by a few times before stopping to get a drink and the line was constantly long. Must be a good sign so I decided to stop. I was craving something cold so I got the New Orleans cold brew with almond milk. It was sweet with a little kick of chicory. I sucked it down in a matter of minutes. Delicious! There are only a few locations around the world. You must stop here if you're in the area!
google avatar

Isabella C.

Yelp
The Boylston location is a much better and totally different experience from this one. Very rude baristas, one messed up my friend's latte and laughed about how bad it was thinking we couldn't hear her. Slow service too which wouldn't be a problem at all if the baristas weren't standoffish and complaining about making drinks.

Yelp
I've been a subscriber to Blue Bottle's coffee bean delivery, although I've never been to a shop before. I've been looking forward to this visit for years. This shop is located within the Prudential Shopping Center, which has some upsides and downsides to it. It's nice if you're making a day out of it to shop, meet with people, or hang out for awhile. Otherwise, it's a little bit of a hassle to get to since it's in the middle of the mall and mall parking is not cheap (starts at $12 for the first hour). That said, I loved the experience when I got to the shop. There's a variety of Blue Bottle's freshly roasted coffees for sale, the minimalistic aesthetics look great, plenty of seating inside (and outside in the courtyard), and lots of lighting with the floor-to-ceiling windows. I enjoyed a cold brew made with their Three Africa's blend, which was a delicious, strong brew. Maxwell, the barista, was very helpful and patient with all my questions about their coffees. Overall, it was good experience and I look forward to checking out more Blue Bottle shops.

I have been a big fan of blue bottle coffee after having it for the first time in new York and I can say that this location is excellent. I would like to say that I am not the kind of guy who usually pays $5 for a cup of coffee. I would rather eat! However, there are always exceptions to the rule and Blue Bottle is one of those exceptions! The latte here is the best I have ever had. The perfect balance of milkiness, aroma from the coffee, and smooth mouthfeel. I have not found a crafted coffee drink as good as this one and would recommend it without hesitation.
