I'm officially done with this place. Been patronizing it quite a bit during the pandemic, and have noticed quality be very up-and-down. Sometimes Cold Brew has enough ice, sometimes not; sometimes they let the tea steep long enough, sometimes it tastes off. Always seems like they're training someone new. Also the food is usually not good, as it seems like they let things sit around too long. For these prices, this is all hard to justify. Only reason I kept giving it a shot is that it is literally across the street for me.
Today I got snapped at by more than 1 employee when asking for a cover for drinks. Throughout Covid they just gave drinks with a cover on them, so it really wasn't a stupid question. Now that Covid is 'done' everyone goes back to being rude, and you get to walk the length of the store with hot drinks in tow to get covers even though they have covers literally next to pickup area behind plexiglass. Along with a side of passive aggression of course.
You'd think a chain would have better customer service and some ability to regulate the quality of their products. Seems like they have a following now, so guess they don't need me. I'll stick to Hex and Co (yes they have good coffee) and Oren's instead, where they actually give a damn about their coffee and show respect to customers.
