"Bay Area-born, Nestlé-acquired coffee chain Blue Bottle is testing cashless, credit-card transaction-only cafes in San Francisco. The company, whose headquarters are in Oakland, will cease accepting cash at 12 locations in the US, including two locations in SF: One at 1355 Market Street and another at 2 South Park. Going cashless is a new trend that some operators say avoids liability and cuts costs, but it’s a controversial choice that some interpret as discriminatory." - Caleb Pershan

"Blue Bottle Coffee Co is mentioned as one of the high-end distributors that sells coffee from Port of Mokha. The lawsuit claims that Blue Bottle's CEO, James Freeman, was convinced by Alkhanshali to show a lack of interest in Mocha Mill's coffee, promising to supply the same coffee from Port of Mokha instead." - Caleb Pershan

Great coffee, a little overpriced but it's the bay. This location has great seating however can get quite crowded during the morning and midday rush.

Great coffee as always ❤️ thanks Blue bottle :)

Google
The best Latte in San Francisco! If you prefer a strong coffee like European style, the Blue Bottle has a good coffee.

Friendly team and comfy beautiful space. An exceptional oat milk flat white, tasted amazing and a beautiful pour!

The cafe has very limited space but has managed to do optimize it rather well. The walls are glass, the seats are modern. However when you look out the fancy glass walls all you can see is the trans bay terminal lol. The coffee itself is standard Blue Bottle fare (ie really good). And they do make waffles at this location!

People who worked this morning are not trained. Milk in latte was frothy and full of big bubbles. Also it was too hot.

Black cardamom latte, if you like "elaichi" chai, this is a must try!

Yelp
The place has good coffee. I've been to this location, the one in Newport, one in Beverly Hills. I only have positive things to say about the locations really. I feel the service has always been good, I like the vibes of the places. Everythings always delicious. Will continue to come back to these spots.

Yelp
Saffron and vanilla latte is so good! This place is a must stop for coffee lovers. Lines can be long but worth the wait!

Yelp
I first came across Blue Bottle Coffee several years ago in the city before they expanded to the East Bay and South Bay. I'm grateful that they now have locations closer to me. While SF boasts numerous coffee options, many of which are equally delicious, there's a unique quality to Blue Bottle's consistency and flavor profile that keeps drawing us back, even when the lines are long.

Yelp
Friendly staff - and you KNOW their coffee is good. Right now they're open M-F from 7 am to 2 pm. No lines (yay), but I still prefer to order in the app and just go pick it up. It's practically empty now but that will soon change as the word spreads.

Yelp
This is a great location, but it's a little inconspicious and easy to walk past. I ordered from TooGoodToGo which this location offers regularly, and I received cookies, cake and a small bar for $5.99. I'd buy again if I was in the area, but probably wouldn't go out of my way. The ladies who assisted me were very kind and friendly.

Yelp
NOTE It is NOT on Howard street Their entrance door faces Beale street. I received a $20 gift card and was able to visit here three times and get the coffee and chocolate drink I did owe $2 for my 3rd visit ....the drink I picked is $7 They are nice in here ....make it fresh ....not too crowded and it is delicious

Yelp
Their coffee was just ok, nothing special. One of the employees, the dude with facial piercings, skipped my order and was very rude when I asked him about my order. He said very abruptly "We're working on it" but 15min passed and I still didn't get my coffee. When I finally got my iced coffee it wasn't worth the wait, too sweet and tasted like I'm drinking straight milk. I barely tasted any coffee. I will not be coming back to this place with bad coffee and poor service.
