Amazing coffee. Blue bottle is one of best in my opinion. They have amazing latte and coffee. I like this particular location. Nice service.It has in and out door seats which make really nice. The space are really big compare to other locations. Also, they have great food and pastries like small cake and toast.

Highly recommend to try the single origin bean for mocha and latte. Their mocha is always my favorite. However, I would be happier if the customer service can be improved a bit. I ordered a pastry and was not notified it’s out of stock until I ask them about where my food is after ten minutes wait.

My first time visiting this coffee shop. I’m glad I stopped by. My barista Quinn was kind, friendly and helpful. He made my Americano perfectly, placed the cup on my table with a straw. I’m happy they hire people who are responsible and kind.

This is a nice blue bottle location with an outdoor patio in the back, very quiet and perfect to sip your coffee in peace. If you’re new to blue bottle I recommend the mocha very sweet and tasty with the right amount of coffee. The croissant was one of the best I’ve had. The avocado toast is overpriced in my opinion.

In my opinion there's only 2 things worth getting at the infamous Blue Bottle: - The NOLA ColdBrew - The Avocado Toast Here's the tea, it's always a gamble on whether or not they will have the avocado toast (only certain locations do and this is one of them). It is super simple and delicious with a plentiful portion of avocado, a little yuzu lemon salt, all topped on local bakery bread. As far as beverages go, the NOLA cold brew is the only chicory coffee in town and reminds me of my time in the big easy. My reason for 4 stars / 5, is the bad excuse for espresso: specifically the double shot is a lie. It is 1 shot barely but they call it a "double". They also call a real double shot a "quad shot" so beware the overpricing paired with skimped portion. The espresso is also super sour and not worth it.

In my comments, I told him that I left their store feeling disrespected. To address this, their response was: "We are always looking for ways to improve so we are really glad you let us know. We never want folks to walk out feeling disrespected and we assure you, this was not the intent of our cafe team." I appreciate that the response was signed by, Fern, and not just a generic desk/department. "Thank you again for bringing this to our attention, please don't hesitate to reach out with any further questions/comments." Well Fern, a couple comments. You inspired me to submit a YELP review. The intent of your team is not the point, I told you I left feeling disrespected. The response should start with, Sorry that we made you feel that way, or at a minimum, sorry that you felt that way. You said you never want folks walking out feeling disrespected, and I just told you that I did it does not matter whether your staff intended to or whether you do or don't want folks to feel that way y'all need to do better. As I said, I will call the improvement specialist, and I'll send you my bill for the advice

Solid coffee and welcoming people but the WiFi during my time spent there was not great at all. Could hardly get any work done.

Favorite spot to get coffee now!! This was my first time at Blue Bottle. The staff recommended the Nola, and I have to say that their Nola (iced) is the best and is now my favorite coffee. The interior has plenty of indoor and outdoor seating to do some work and catch up with someone. Definitely recommend this spot!

I absolutely love blue bottle, Loyal customer for many years to several locations! However, my experience at this BB was the worst experience i've ever had in a BB. My order did not taste like it has previously at other locations, my partner agreed. The customer service was just terrible. Not only did the customer service put a bad taste in my mouth but the coffee did as well. 3 stars because the location is very cute and very clean given the nearby circumstances.

I've been coming to this blue bottle for years and it's amazing. The coffee is really pricey but so worth it. I love the ice sweet latte. The interior layout is also super cozy!

Been here a few times since getting a promotion at work and working down the street. Always friendly staff. Chris is not a very professional representative of them, but a very smart barista as well. Highly recommend this location. I know as long as I'm working by them, they can count on me stopping by.

I tried the New Orleans chicory iced coffee as recommended, and it was very good! I don't like that the default milk is oat and they charge up for almond milk. Seems unfair. However, I would still repurchase. B+ flavor, and high quality coffee. There is also a vegan donut shop next door, so that's fun for a special accompanying treat.

I honestly feel like the other blue bottle locations taste better. But I love the ambiance of this place. They have seating, wifi, and lots of natural light.

Tons of seating and consistently good coffee and drinks. Don't expect to eat here though; I know blue bottle rarely offers hot/fresh food at most of its locations but this one lists food on the menu that they never have in stock. Just take the menu down if you're out of item

MY FAVORITE COFFEE EVER. Blue bottle is always AMAZING. My favorite forever and ever and ever will always be the New Orleans Style. It is strong, slightly sweet, slightly creamy - literally the perfect blend and mix of coffee and happiness and yumminesss. If you love iced coffee - this is a must. I also tasted the breakfast spinach croissant sandwich and omg it was delicious. It has this slightly spicy salsa that was to die for. The staff are super accommodating and the location is so cutey. A bit on the pricy-her end but hey that's LA coffee for ya. I'll def spend my money at blue bottle always!

Love Blue Bottle. Love the employees at this location. Love the coffee. My complaint is with the parking lot for the Edgemar complex. They used to have two of the most lovely, kind parking attendants who always recognized me and greeted me warmly. Now they have two people who, despite seeing me on an almost daily basis act like they've never seen me before. And at the direction of the building owner, they are blocking off all the parking spots on the street level so the parking lot looks empty (for potential renters.) Meanwhile, Blue Bottle also pays rent in the complex, but their customers are directed to park in the underground part of the parking lot even to pick up coffee for five minutes. It's ridiculous and makes for a very poor experience. This is by no means Blue Bottle's fault but the owner of this complex is hurting the businesses that are already there.

My favorite coffee shop due to the vibe of the staff. Niko in particular is the best. Always feel at home here

More of an upscale coffeehouse but the experience is lovely. I enjoyed a velvety black cardamom almond mylk latte crafted by friendly staff and was in heaven!

Ah yes, another extremely expensive coffee place in Los Angeles, I guess we don't have enough. Does Blue Bottle live up to the price? I think yes! Blue Bottle makes some really great coffee, but I don't like everything they have on the menu. The service is great. Quick and friendly, everything you would want out of a coffee shop. The aesthetic is awesome, I love the store, the cups, and all the stuff they sell (expensive as f*ck though). The New Orleans Style coffee might be some of the best coffee I've had in Los Angeles. It is unique but still tastes like coffee (not too much sugar/flavoring). I would highly recommend trying this if it's your first time going. The reason I'm not giving it a 5 star is that some of the coffee that they offer is not that good, or doesn't compare to the New Orleans Style. I'm not going to call them a one trick pony, but I was hoping I'd find a few other drinks I like from them just as much. I'm hoping that they do not sacrifice their quality with the rapid expansion that they are doing. There are Blue Bottles opening up all over the place, and usually when this happens the quality at each store decreases. Crossing my fingers! If you find yourself near any location and are in need of some coffee definitely give Blue Bottle a try, you won't be disappointed.

Blue Bottle coffee has opened another location on Main Street in Santa Monica, where Pete Coffee used to be. The coffee shop is very clean and bright. Kind of like being in a pharmacy. Its Japanese minimalism meets warehouse chic. Their menu is pretty limited and there is one cup size for all of the drinks. If you walked in and ordered an iced coffee, you received it in a thick, cardboard cup normally used for hot coffee. Unlike Starbucks and Coffee Bean, you won't find any Frappuccino blended beverages, refreshers beverages or any ice blended drinks. Blue bottle coffee doesn't offer Vanilla latte, just a regular latte which does not taste as good as Vanilla Latte. Non-dairy milk options are oat milk and almond milk. Products for sale: Blue Bottle branded drippers, filters, pitchers, mugs, cold brewers and more. -They don't validate parking (even though there is a parking garage in the building). -Indoors & outdoor seating -Restrooms inside -Pretty quiet so its great spot for working. - Vegan options are available. - They use paper instead of plastic. - Nice staff.

Great new coffee shop in the neighborhood! The coffees are super flavorful and fresh. There are lots of options to choose from and the staff is incredibly nice and helpful. Good pastries too. And the space is incredible! They did a great job taking advantage of the architecture of the historic Edgemar location. Sooo light and airy! Well done and welcome to the neighborhood!

Really good Americano and cold brew, clean spot, very nice and fast service. Definitely worth stopping by.

We were walking around the area and passed by Blue Bottle so I decided to get a cortado and my husband had a pour over. Excellent coffee as always.

Thank you for a great experience with the friendly staff and clean environment. We tried the Moscovado with almond milk and it has brought into question where our expectations should be from other larger coffee shops. Hmm!

Visiting Santa Monica for the day, my friend and I were excited to try out this new location on their first day of business. She was familiar Blue Bottle from living in New York. We absolutely enjoyed the friendly service and the clean seating area. My cappuccino was perfect and I loved all the branded coffee paraphernalia, too! I only wish there was one in San Diego!

This place is amazing. Very cozy, the staff is super nice and will help you if it's your first time. Parking is super close. I was so satisfied when I came here. If it's your first time I suggest the liège waffle, three africas coffee, cascara fizz and Avocado Toast. This is a perfect breakfast place, and even the aesthetic of the place matches the simplistic and minimalistic theme of the Blue Bottle Coffee. Overall, very beautiful place! I highly recommend it to coffee lovers like me.

Bomb coffee! Bomb customer service! Bomb looking space! Bomb everything! They have exceptional coffee and also have oat milk option! Their New Orleans drink is to die for and also ice cafe latte with oat milk!

Crowded with pretentious people not wearing masks that think their coffee order is the most important topic in the world today-Yes Iced lattes served in cardboard cups that taste like cardboard-Yes Employees that can't handle more than 3 people in line-Yes Employees that are rude and and not very helpful- Yes Their window system for covid regulations doesn't make any sense. The order and pick up line are in the same place. Its very unclear and feels unsafe. Not worth the risk. There are too many other coffee choices cloese by.

The most amazing little community I have ever had the pleasure to come across. The baristas here feel just like family not to mention they serve the most delicious coffee. Unlike the snobby baristas of yesteryear the friendly folks inside Blue Bottle Main Street are a welcome breath of fresh air. Not only that, but the caffeine concoctions they're whipping up are dee-licious. There's always seating available with outdoor tables in the back, filtered water on tap, pastries and parfes at the ready and a clean bathroom. You can't go wrong stepping inside this tip top coffee shop.

There was paper or something in my latte. I drank most of it, took another sip...paper stuff. I tried another sip...more paper stuff. I took the lid off thinking maybe the lid was disintegrating and tried another sip...even more paper stuff. Gross!! Staff was very friendly, but that doesn't matter when there's something weird in your drink. Ew!

I like the setup and ambiance of all the locations I have been, great concept but at the end of the day coffee is what we want there . Cappuccino they serve is just warm and not enough heat, after few sips pretty much cold, even if you ask extra extra hot still comes warm. I have talked to manager about it but still the same.

Learn something about customer service. Sign says open at 630. Web says open at 630. Employees in store hanging out with door locked. Asked them why they're not open at 630 and they said "not anymore" and turned their back. Been coming here everyday for months- but back to Starbucks now. Plus the coffee is overpriced and overhyped to be honest. Tastes like cardboard

Staff is amazing and attentive. Just one example, I was having a bad day and they noticed this. They were so attentive and caring that they were able to give a discount and a small free item. Even though they must have thought it was a small gesture, it made a huge difference in reversing the course of my day. It's the little touches like that which truly set this place apart from the rest.

(Edit, +1 because the manager messaged to thank me for taking the time to write a review. It sounds like this isn't their norm.) Coffee was excellent and the person who served me was very nice. However, my cup was a bit bent. This is pretty pricey coffee to be handed a bent cup. So -.5 for presentation. I went to find a seat and every spot except the front table had old glasses and mugs, -.5 for cleanliness. Then I tried the WiFi and it wasn't working, -.5. I tried to use the restroom and an employee beat me to it - which is fine, I would have let them go first anyway, but -.5 more because I was already bummed by the situation. I bet there's times of day, or teams of employees that get this place in a nice flow. I have been to a lot of Blue Bottles and was excited to see it. I've never been to one that messy before and I have never been handed a bent cup.

New Orleans with oat milk. Not too sweet for someone who doesn't like sweets all that much!

I love Blue Bottle and have purchased their brewing equipment to make pour overs at home. I also have a subscription for their coffee beans. I was a disappointed with this retail store only because it was a smaller venue set up for coffee to go. The coffee was delicious as expected, but I really wanted to hang out in a Blue Bottle retail store and imbibe their offerings with my friends. The store reached out to me with a complementary beverage and said that they do have a seating area in the back. I'll be sure to return to this Blue Bottle location the next time I'm in Santa Monica. The pour over brewing method used at Blue Bottle makes for a delicious cup of coffee.

Ordered a capucchino extra hot. Wins the prize for the absolutely smallest cap I have ever had anywhere and lukewarm. And sorry guys it was not a cap but a latte. Paid $4.75 for a bottle of water and the woman taking orders the most sour faced for a Wed morning. Drank my cap in all of 60 seconds and went to another coffee shop where $5 gets you a decent cap. Not sure what all the hype is (or was) but don't bother.

Blue bottle is a filthy housefly - not sure why the choose the name. The blonde young barista is unfriendly and disinterested in clientele. Two caps - one cold, one scalding- both lattes instead of cappuccino and served in three paper cups each.

A picture is worth a thousand words... and ... the coffee...the variety... have a cup of coffee and get inspired with baristas that are at one with their beans.

The drinks are super flavorful and fresh. There are lots of options to choose from and the staff is incredibly nice and helpful. Pastries are very delicious. I absolutely enjoyed the friendly service and the clean seating area. I definitely recommend this place !
