So good! Any time I am in Santa Monica for work, I make sure to stop here at least once as we don't have Blue Bottle in Las Vegas. The menu is pretty simple and not too extensive. I love lattes, and they have 2 different kinds, I go for the iced sweet latte. It's really simple and very tasty. I'm not a fan of strong tasting coffees, and this one is perfect. They also have some good food options if you are hungry. It can get pretty busy in here as it gets later in the morning. I ended up here both times around 8:45 or so with a line up to the door. The staff is very nice and tries to get through the line as quickly as they can while also making drinks and food. They handle it very well! Great coffee and very nice service. I love it here and wish I could get this all the time back home!

Ordered a hot chocolate to drink there, it had a beautiful design on top of my drink of a flower or leaf, thank you to the super friendly Barista. I remember it was a young man but did not get his name. Felt speacial. This staff actually smiles at you and makes you feel welcome. Thank you!

If you love a good coffee - come here. There are couple of tables outside or you can make yourself comfy inside the cafe. 🥐 tasty pastry - salty or sweet will definitely make your day better 😉

Newly-opened Blue Bottle location is still working out the kinks, but serves up Blue Bottle’s top-notch coffees with some twists: uncharacteristically friendly service and lots of inside seating (and a couple of outdoor tables as well). Seems like prices are a touch higher than other locations but that might just be inflation (or the price you pay for comfortable seating). Glad it’s come to the neighborhood.

Here's the thing about asking for a tip before anyone has done anything -- you're asking for a reward for services that haven't yet been rendered. I tipped 15% on a cup of coffee at the register, then waited at a table while the three people who came in after me were all served and the baristas had kicked back to chat. When I went to the counter to ask for my coffee it seemed my cup was on top of the machine, out of the way, and the barista looked surprised saying "we're just steaming your milk." In the future, if you've made a mistake and forgotten about a customer, just apologize. Don't pretend it was just a normal delay while you were doing the job.

Why have I been going to Starbucks for so long when I could've just gone here I used my gift card and I'm so glad I discovered my favorite cold brew granola. It is perfectly light but intense yet not too intense and a little bit so sweet super perfect foam. The brookie is nice with that sea salt and a nice little chew to it. The chocolate chip pumpkin loaf is everything you'd want in your pumpkin loaf of your dreams: dense fatty, chocolatey pumpkin goodness the little pumpkin seeds feel a little bit too healthy for me, but I'll take it for now. Amazing staff are like a well oiled machine. These people are beasts.

I had seen Blue Bottle all over social media and was excited to try their coffee. It didn't live up to the hype for me. I got two coffees and we didn't finish either one. The staff was friendly though!

Fast service, lots of open seating for coffee chats/doing work. Not too loud and plenty of natural lighting in the space! I got my matcha latte sweetened which was yummy, but my friend's latte tasted a bit burnt. Would come back here if I was at the beach! Parking is a bit tough since it's Santa Monica.

My daughter loves this place and brought me here to try. She wasn't exaggerating when she was talking about this coffee. It is truly unique and taste amazing! I can't describe the flavors it's just something you will have to go try and experience yourself! The vibes are great you're right in Santa Monica so you can pick up your coffee and just walk around. And as always customer service is very important and it's great here, everyone is so friendly.

Delicious coffee that my friends always enjoys going to!! This is our first time going to this branch and we all wanted to have a nice cup of iced coffee. The choices are limited but straight to the point. They have a collab interestingly enough with the artist the Weeknd, where he has a line of coffee called "Samra Origins". You can purchase them to take home if you have an expresso machine. However, I wanted a drink then and there. So I picked out his regular drink from Blue Bottle (named the Samra Latte) due to the list of flavors that sound delicious when meshed together. It's a latte with vanilla and Ethiopian cinammon-topped on. It was absolutely delightful & I'm happy for the experience of sharing Ethiopian culture and coffee due to Blue Bottle. - quick, friendly service - sustainable styling inside and modern decor - coffee cups are the same despite cold/hot type drink

I love this location right near the Santa Monica 3rd street Promenade. I like the clean and modern interior which is the signature Blue Bottle ambiance. This location has the see-through glass tables with high chairs. My favorite drink is the ice oat milk latte with simple syrup. Blue Bottle's ice latte still has a strong coffee flavor even though it is iced which I like. Some iced lattes lose the coffee flavor which is a shame. Not here! I also love their Belgium waffles. Save room for dessert or breakfast when coming here. Service was fine. They always offered to heat up the waffle for me which I greatly appreciated!

Given that I was raised with South Asian flavors like Cardamom and Chai, I am very picky when it comes to trying coffee infused with flavors I grew up with. Having said that, I was astoundingly impressed with Blue Bottle's Black Cardamom Latte. Simply amazing, and authentically curated. Switch it up and try it for yourself... unless you aren't adventurous enough with your coffee. In that case, stay boring my friends!

We've got there to take some breakfast at our first day visiting L.A., the place is really nice. With a minimalistic style that is awesome. Perfect is you want to take pics for Instagram. And the food was delicious, the service is also really good- We're traveling with little kids so I thank the cashiers that are patient and not hurrying you up. I know that the main thing is grabbing a coffee and a little pastry but maybe they could add few more options to eat.

Blue Bottle Coffee in Santa Monica offers a charming ambiance with its cute seating arrangements, including comfortable couches and spots for both small and larger groups. While the cozy atmosphere and friendly, welcoming staff create a pleasant experience, the seating is quite limited, which is understandable given the location. However, the coffee prices are notably high, with a small coffee costing around seven dollars, which is disappointing considering the quality doesn't quite justify the cost. While the environment is inviting, you might be better off exploring other coffee shops in the area for a more satisfying and reasonably priced coffee experience

What draws me to this business the most, strangely enough, is the app. The design is trying to out basic basic, but it works and feels uncomplicated. I appreciate uncomplicated these days. I order the avocado toast every time I come here. It really is tasty which is surprising given their limited kitchen. But yeah, as my kids would say.....it slaps. The solid four stars is because I'm really not sure how I feel about the coffee. Also, it's another one of those businesses where you cannot speak to a live person. I don't understand how so many places get away with this.

blue bottle coffee had kind staff and very minimalist & modern interior! the matcha was good with a nice bright color and minimal astringency, but it does not come sweet - be warned.

Blue bottle always offers a 5 star atmosphere. The staff here were friendly and approachable, even to the man experiencing homelessness who was asking for pumps of flavoring that they don't offer here. The shop is bright and clean. The coffee was great.

Coffee coffee coffee! Yes, I love coffee! I'm so happy I stumbled across Blue Bottle Coffee inside the Westfield Century City Mall. Since there isn't a Starbucks close to work, this is the next best stop. When coming to Blue Bottle Coffee, don't expect to get an iced vanilla latte or a frappuccino. No sir, that's not what BBC is all about. They are a specialty coffee roaster offering espresso, New Orleans-style coffee, iced coffee, pour-overs, Tea, and more. They also offer small bites. My go-to drink here is an iced sweet latte. Since they do not have my fav, iced vanilla latte, this is what they recommend. I'm also a big fan of their avocado toast! It's so scrumptious with an overload of avocado. So good! If you are a coffee lover, I highly recommend you check out Blue Bottle Coffee.

Blue Bottle Coffee is one of the staples across Los Angeles for a good (and quite expensive) cup of Joe. They are all very nice locations with an ambiance that is designed to take your coffee and go around the area as opposed to sitting within the coffee shop for a long amount of time. The baristas are always very friendly with any questions they would be willing to answer as well as more than happy to remake a drink if it does not satisfy your expectations. I would say their best drink is their iced New Orleans which is cold brew extract with their oat milk (they do not charge extra as oat milk is standard) which is the perfect drink for a hot summer day. If you haven't tried Blue Bottle, go to your closest one and give it a try for a good coffee if you're willing to pay the high price!

1st time at this location and Nas was a sweetheart. So welcoming and inviting. I ordered a flat white and my friends ordered cafe lattes! I recommend this location 10/10

I had visiting family in town this week, and during showing them around Santa Monica, I decided to bring them to my favorite overpriced, small cup having, LA coffee shop. Now, when I say my favorite, it's because though to me, all these LA coffee shops are the same. I do feel Blue Bottle however is the better of them with their coffee standing out with rich flavor. Unfortunately, I made the mistake by bringing us to this location. They had a very dirty seating area for starters. Had to ask and wait for a table and their couch to be cleaned up. And then after patiently waiting for one of my cups of coffee (I got two) when I asked if it was on it's way the young man working had apologized for forgetting all about it! Not sure why but was really annoying obviously. Now I love Blue Bottle but will definitely pass on stopping in this location as well as not recommending them.

I got the NOLA cold brew. It was so delicious, and I appreciate that they don't charge for some non-dairy Milks. The NOLA cold brew is premade so there's no way to ask for it without sweetener, but it's very delicious, and not overly sweet. They have a restroom inside, but not many seating options inside. It looks like people mostly sit down there to get work done. As far as outdoor seating, there's only one table outside. So not really a place to catch sun and do some work.

Overpriced and not good flavor. The almond latte ratio was way off. Too much milk and not enough coffee, tasted bland and watery. They take care to make the foam look nice but the drink is not worth $7.50 before tip.

Every time I pass by I stop in if i havent already had my coffee. If you are an espresso fan, please get the Hayes Valley because it is so chocolately and smooth. Theyll serve it in the traditional tiny espresso cup with a spoon on the side. Hands down Hayes Valley is my fave espresso ive had at any coffee shop. The space inside is clean and quiet, with the exception of an occasional cup placed in the dish pit. There are plenty of tables to sit and work and its nice and bright. The employees are super kind and friendly and no matter what day I have been, they are kind even when they're slammed. I really appreciate when I enter a place and I am not made to feel like a bother. I recommend this business and its great coffee that actually focuses on COFFEE. Keep in mind, if youre looking for fancy combos of flavors and toppings, this place will be limited. This is a simple, quality, bright and quiet coffee place. Try it out!

Incredibly delicious drinks! If you are craving a sweet treat, try the waffle. You can't go wrong with the coffee drinks and yuzu fizz. You will fall in love the views, which is the cherry on top.

Order up! This easy small coffee & tea chain is becoming a personal favorite for sure. Stopped in for some early AM brew with this Noah guy :D He placed an order ahead of time and by the time we strolled over it was ready and in the mobile order pickup area (labeled as so), just left of the front counter, pastries and menu board above; Think Cold Brew, Lattes, Teas, Espressos, Hot Chocolate, Cappuccino and a few bottled beverages for quick grabs (mostly water and sparkling fizz). They offer free Wi-Fi, friendly service and a fair amount of seating. Definitely could see a work space day hang here in the future. Sign up for deals on shipping and first deliver orders with their online shop filled with drinkware, brew tools and of course coffee! Parking is very Santa Monica and available if you can nab it, especially early in the day, plenty of all day lots nearby if you plan to make a day of it. The line was really short and prompt when we stopped in so they definitely keep it moving and brewing throughout the day. Q-Tip: They have Oat milk available for no extra charge as a non-dairy (vegan) alternative and Almond milk for a little extra ($1.25).

I was greeted by a friendly staff. The ambiance is very chill, with coffee aromas in the air. Merch lined up across the shelves. And pastries just waiting for you to give in and be picked up. Their hot latte are so tasty! It comes with oat milk already and if you want almond milk, there is an additional $1.25. I really enjoy when they call your name and as you walk up, they finish decorating the top of your latte and hands it to you. Always a great experience at BB.

7 dollars for some bad coffee . Would never come back , had no flavor and overpriced .

I'm a matcha girl and very picky about the quality of my matcha :) the seasonal matcha (with orange blossom) is something I've never had before and I highly recommend getting it if you're a fan of matcha or sensitive to caffeine! Hot chocolate is a great choice. My brother said the New Orleans iced Nola was very tasty. The female barista at this location was super sweet and welcome! I will definitely be back for another matcha run!

Coffee is rather pricey but it's so worth it. The matcha latte is really good. Like you can really taste the matcha and it's such a pretty color. But my favorite thing to get here is the iced sweet latte! It's also very cozy inside with lots of nice clean seats.

i'm an aussie and have been not enjoying the coffee here so far. coffee at other places has been disappointing at best. had an iced latte here and it was soooo good. the espresso was delightful and i would defently recommend!! staff were also very friendly.

I don't know if blue bottle coffee needs much review about quality of their coffee. I feel like every cup is made with care, so they were made just right. Friendly service and clean decor makes it super pleasant to visit this location.

Blue bottle used to be great. Now they produce over priced not very good coffee. I spent $6 on a cappuccino that was cold after pouring. The espresso itself wasn't good either. Primo passo (4.75) and urth cafe (5) are much better coffees at lower prices. Philz is close and different, but better value. The only possible reason to come here would be if you desire third wave flat white / espresso drinks and you are on foot and in a time crunch. There are many many superior options all over the place.

The quality and service at this location are excellent! The baristas are all extremely talented and very consistent. They have a wonderful leader and have been well trained. This is quickly becoming one of my favorite Blue Bottle locations.

Love their coffee especially the New Orleans style coffee blend with oat milk. Totally recommend that one not only because it's my favorite but the flavor is overall smooth and rich. Little bit pricy but it's worth it.

Came here to get my caffeine intake of the day. The place is clean and modern with a contemporary atmosphere. The batista staff were friendly and greeted us with a smile. Overall wait was adequate and not too long. There was a long line when we were walking out.

Blue Bottle Coffee is expensive but high quality coffee so it's worth it. Only complaint is that they're almost always out of pastry, especially croissants in all locations! They need to figure out their pastry inventory to take their buisness to the next level. Service is whatever and the ambiance is very basic but still good.

I've been getting the spiced NOLA...so so so good...I want one everyday. The Sugarbloom pastries are AMAZING.......when I'm feeling down I make sure to get a Sugarbloom chocolate croissant with m coffee and my day is instantly better. Love everything about Blue Bottle. The baristas are super nice and cool. I've never sat inside but did have a quick chat with my friend outside for a bit. Was there today...and will be back soon!

One of my favorite coffee shops! I always order a mocha with oat milk. They take their time on the drinks and froth the milk for so long their drinks taste creamy, just the way I like it! To top it off they gave the best latte art which makes the drink look so pretty that I don't even want to drink it sometimes. The chocolate isn't as sweet and the best part is now oat milk is their default so no extra charge :) This location is new and there's plenty of street parking. It is also closer to work so it's very convenient before my shift starts

I enjoyed this location. The coffee is so deep & rich in flavor. The iced latte was one of the best I've had. Oat milk is the milk by default, which I'm not usually a huge fan of. But the balance of the espresso with the oat milk was fantastic. Avo toast was fresh & perfect. Breakfast Sammy is spicy, which was nice. Service was great. Workers were kind and helpful in explaining the unique brews and drinks. Love the long seating ambiance, very vibrant and bustling.

You may be dissuaded by the upscale image of this place, but it's actually quite good. Everyone behind the bar seemed relaxed and it helps make the place you could stay for a while. Almond rose tea cake

I have been reluctant to return to Blue Bottle after receiving mediocre and slow service from several locations, but this place had such wonderful service and prompt. Thank you for my latte! Will be returning soon.

Super friendly baristas! Amazing matcha lattes. I have yet to try their regular lattes. My mom ordered just a regular cup of coffee, which takes a couple minutes to make since it's a pour over. She was unimpressed and the coffee was a little bitter. Will definitely try a pastry and their NOLA latte next time.
