August 2024 - 🌟 🌟 White Meat Curry Chicken - Extremely Bland / only 2 potato pieces / no carrots / good portion size Rice & Peas - Absolutely no flavor at all / good portion size Cabbage was ok, not good, just ok CSR - welcoming and accommodating 6/28/25 - 🌟 🌟 🌟 Customer Service was wonderful. Many of the hostesses in Jamaican eateries are RUDE and DISRESPECTFUL. Jerked White Meat was flavorful but a tad dry and salty. Rice and Peas were okay Cabbage was absolutely awful. Goat Roti was good. $20 yikes! Portion size was very small. Take a look at the pictures. The goat was very tasty but too salty with too many bones. 🌟 🌟 🌟 🌟 The Roti Skin was delicious. I was shocked that the roti skin was so good. 🌟 🌟 🌟 🌟 🌟 Meal ortion sizes were great compared to other nearby Jamaican eateries at similar prices, except for the Roti. Roti skins are an exorbitant amount of $8. Really?

Great Place to eat, drink and socialize. Prices are great, staff is professional and courteous. I’ve been coming here for a number of years.

The food here is always really good. However the customer service from the woman who takes to go orders on weekdays is terrible. She always has an attitude or sounds like it anyways. One time when I came to pick up my order she also charged me $3 for jerk sauce when it’s only $1 which I didn’t later find out until one of the other workers told me it’s shouldn’t have been that much. The customer service alone from her makes me refrain from spending my money there unless another worker is available to take my order. I understand having bad days but it seems like she genuinely hates the job and to me that’s not a good look for the business.

I don’t know if they have a new cook or what, but the curry chicken doesn’t taste the same anymore. It’s like they add too much water in the sauce . I guess they try to make it stretch, but it’s actually making it taste dry/ plain. I am highly disappointed.

GO FOR THE FOOD! brown stew chicken or beef stew with extra gravy, cabbage, rice & no peas (beans) $15 perfectly seasoned every time the flavors are in harmony and the meat always is Tender! RUN DON’T WALK ! I treat myself to this about 2-3 a month I love them they offer small and large but the small is a big portion $15 for beef chicken I believe is $13 for a small xtra gravy is an additional $1 you can’t beat the TASTE & Prices! They’re fast & the food sells out after a certain point, Try them out :) :) :) :) ;) ;) ;) fyi * she picture I shared is the small* they sell drinks but I haven’t tried them yet be back when I do lol

The place needs a renovation, it smelled like urine and the music was JUST okay.. I have been here anytime over the years but I think that was my last time.

Yelp
Stopped here on a humble. There is street parking so, you do pay the meter before six in the evening. We entered and it appeared to be a carryout counter. However, once you entered the second door there was a dim lit bar area with bar stools, tables and chairs. We decided to sit at the bar. We were greeted and given menus. We were told that the happy hour was from 5-8pm and that meant that the drinks were $2.00 off. I chose to get the park height punch considering the neighborhood we were in was Park Heights. The main ingredient in it was tequila. The drink was ok but, just a little too on the sweet side for me. For my food order was a small dark meat jerk chicken with extra jerk sauce with white rice. I wanted white meat but, they were all out. As we sat there waiting on our food I have say they were pretty busy from customers whom had placed pick up orders. There were only a few people actually dining in. I was a little disappointed because I thought they would be playing some Caribbean music but, they were not. There is also a pool table if you like to play pool. The barmaid was friendly and attentive. The food didn't take too long to come out. Let me tell you the jerk chicken did not disappoint. It came with a side of curry sauce and barbecue sauce. I wasn't a fan of the curry sauce but, that barbecue sauce was definitely a hit on my jerk chicken and rice. It was so good I placed a to go order for the same exact thing. I would like to try this place on the weekend during the real lounge hours.

Yelp
I would not recommend anyone eat at this restaurant. I ordered the two small servings of jerk chicken as carryout. My car smelled awful as I traveled 8 minutes back to work for lunch. I said, well, maybe it's just a unique fragrance from the jerk sauce. I thought I'd give it the benefit of the doubt and try it anyway. BAD IDEA! The chicken was dehydrated and tasted like it had been in the refrigerator for days, then reheated for sale. The sauce tasted old as well and had a terrible odor.I DO NOT RECOMMEND

Yelp
Everything was great! The coco bread came out nice and warm. The Shrimp Curry was abundant. The container was heavy and it was packed with flavor! I absolutely loved the cabbage, it was cooked perfectly. The food did take about 30 minutes to come out, but of course it was worth the wait. I came back a few days later for the same thing.

Yelp
The doorman was very firm about the $20 cover being in cash, but the security guard accepted cashapp. After paying that hefty cover, I get in there and it smelled like poop. Like, real bad. I stayed as long as I could - the people were nice and my drink was good. It was kinda dry but there were quite a few people there surprisingly. The DJ was slumming. I'm very upset because I paid $20 whole dollars just to smell poop. I do not recommend.

Yelp
Best Caribbean food hands down in Baltimore . Royal marooon i think was the original name but they have moved to this location which is a small lunge . I am not sure if it's temporary or for good . The food has authentic Caribbean taste . Portions are good size . I got the curry chicken , rice and peas , cabbage and plantains . Everything was perfect and so good . It's a small whole in the wall but worth it !! I also recommend getting the curry goat as well my friend got that so I tasted that as well . Excellent . I literally drive 30 mins if I want Caribbean food .
