"Boom Bop Burrito is a new concept by Chef BJ Lofback, offering sushi burritos from a trailer designed as a boom box. The trailer, overhauled by East Nashville artist Troy Duff, pops up at various locations across Nashville, with information shared exclusively on Instagram. It marks the return of the much-missed sushi burritos initially popularized by Lofback in 2015." - Delia Jo Ramsey

I recently visited Blue Coast at Lenox Village under its new management, and I am thoroughly impressed! The ambiance has been refreshed, and the staff is friendly and attentive, making for a wonderful dining experience. The quality and presentation of the food were exceptional, showcasing fresh ingredients and bold flavors. Additionally, I was thrilled to learn that they now offer catering services, which will be perfect for upcoming events. I highly recommend Blue Coast for both a delicious meal out and for catering your next celebration.

Google
The food was way better than what I remember for my last experience at Blue Coast burrito!! At a different location. But this one was absolutely amazing.. the what's tender and the chips were crisp nicely salted, the sauces are always very flavorful and tasty. the customer service was top notch!!! I will definitely be coming back to this location for my next order

Listen.. when I tell you I have had the worst experiences with catering in the past… it seems like I always get the oops it won’t happen again places! With Blue Coast Lennox Village .. the Owner Boomer and his amazing team were top notch! Food ready on time, hot and fresh, and spectacular customer service! You have my business for all of my corporate catering needs and it might just become a lifestyle for us and catered family dinners as well! Thanks Boomer and Team!!!

Google
I recently had them cater an event, and I couldn’t be more impressed! From start to finish, the experience was flawless. The food was absolutely delicious. The taco bar is always a crowd favorite. The star of the show is the fruit tea. IYKYK. Also, you must add on the cheese dip. We like to call it the trifecta - tacos, tea, and cheese dip. What really made the experience top tier was the team. The catering team was professional, punctual, and organized. They provided all the necessary condiments and utensils, making it easy for our guests to enjoy. The quality of the food was top-notch, and it truly elevated our event. If you’re looking for a catering option that offers delicious, fresh, and customizable options, I highly recommend Lenox Village Blue Coast Burrito. They made our event memorable, and I will definitely be using them again in the future!

We've been coming to Blue Coast Burrito every Tuesday for family night for the past 10 years, and it has truly become a tradition for us. The food is always fresh, and the service is consistently top-notch. Our favorite employees are Miley, Elijah, and Mary. They always greet us with a smile and make us feel like family. We'll miss Mary terribly when she leaves for Brown University, but we wish her all the best in her studies!! The new owner, Boomer, has only added to the fantastic atmosphere. He's done a wonderful job continuing the tradition of great service and quality that we've come to expect and upgrading it as well!! Blue Coast Burrito is more than just a place to grab a bite; it's a community. We can't recommend it enough!!! Plenty of parking and seating! **Tuesdays kids meals are $2.99 and small burrito meals are only $6! Such a bargain!!

Cody the gm was freaking incredible everything was decorated so beautifully and you could tell they put a lot of love into making it look like home for the holidays! Israel was super kind and welcomed me in like I belonged here!! Will come back over and over!!! My burrito was also stellar!!! Plus the wrapping of the presents was exceptional!!!

Yelp
Hi there. Come on a journey with me. A wonderful burrito adventure. I was skeptical choosing this shop as I figured it would be the same as the rest. Oh was I wrong. Greeted with warm welcomes. The entire feng shui sets you up for that amazing stuffed to the brim tortilla and as soon as you shove it into your mouth you don't even remember your ex's name anymore. Just when you think your mouth couldn't handle anymore, what is this?? Its your side of chips and salsa. What a glorious day. Amen.

Fun T.

Yelp
Location needs to clean up the food bar. It was a mess. On top of it the Baja fish is no joke frozen fish sticks. I didn't even eat them. Really disappointed with the overall quality of the food and cleanliness.

Moohamed A.

Yelp
Pretty mid compared to Baja and chipotle Corporate there working on a computer checking every order to make sure they put correct portions sizes makes it very awkward experience for a mid burrito fr #notworthit #theteaismid

Yelp
Best Blue Coast in TN. Been coming here for years, it's under new management now and they are doing a fantastic job. Food is fresh cut, healthy, and cooked well. Salsa and chips are fresh every day. They are always well staffed and clear the lines quick. The staff are good at their jobs and treat every customer with respect. I 100% recommend coming to this Blue Coast and checking it out. Lots of other shops around to explore so go there and grab some lunch while you're walking.

Lola B.

Yelp
Horrible. Came last night at 8:06 pm (they close at 8:30), and as I was walking to the door a young teenage boy ran and locked it right as I approached it, proceeded to laugh with his coworker and pretend to be mopping. If you close at 8:30, you close at 8:30 or you go out of business. Hopefully this place is next.

Yelp
Great food nice workersG Lenox Village G

Yelp
I live somewhat between Blue Coast and Chipotle (Brentwood). After several poor experiences at Chipotle; from workers being somewhat rude, portions being subpar, and prices being astronomical, I decided to give Blue Coast a shot. My university bad a BC on campus which was subpar so I was hesitant. This BC has great taste, great attitude from employees, and the prices are not terrible (yes I think they are high but it is 2024 and much cheaper than Chipotle.) They have great hot salsa. The queso is mid though, and the overall taste is just barely a notch below Chipotle, which is why I only gave 4 stars (Chipotle received 1 star from me.) Theres never a line like at the Chipotle either, which is insane to me. Would definitely recommend trying! Get the chipotle flavored tortilla!

Robyne M.

Yelp
Fast clean friendly yum! Very convenient location. That abt sums it up! Will def be back!

Tyrone L.

Yelp
Great food. I wish the soup was year round. Friendly staff as well. Highly recommended

Kevelin D.

Yelp
I have been coming here every Tuesday for almost 7 years. They never disappoint! They have the friendliest staff that doesn't mind accommodating all of our picky food needs! Thanks so much for all of the fun memories! Love the balloon man as well! Great place

Kayla S.

Yelp
I typically really like Blue Coast but I haven't been to this location very often. Went tonight and the chips tasted strongly of rancid oil. I couldn't even eat them and they were the part I'd been looking forward to the most. My teens couldn't eat them either. They tasted so nasty. The burritos were edible but not anywhere near the quality I usually expect from Blue coast. Staff wasn't rude but they weren't exactly friendly either. I'm super disappointed. I don't know how this location stays open.

Miranda W.

Yelp
The freshness of the food at the location is wonderful. The quality and portion sizes are just right for the money you pay. The staff is super friendly and helpful when making your menu selections. My favorite seasonal item they have is the soup. Non seasonal item would be the Nachos.

David D.

Yelp
I like this place. The food isn't gonna change your life, but the. Price is right, vibe is good, and the taste is solid.

Ashlyn G.

Yelp
Honestly wish I could rate this as 0/5. My husband and I just moved to Lenox village and after a long day of moving went to go pick up dinner which we were so excited about. First off, everyone was rude, it had to have been over 80 degrees in there, and the food AND drinks were disgusting. I ordered a quesadilla and as I always do at other blue coast locations, I get rice, beans, pico, etc on it. I asked for these items and the girl told me it would be "too messy" and she would just put it all on the side which she never even did after I asked twice. They forgot our chips and queso, they didn't even have salsa out, and the fruit tea was so old it tasted like vinegar. First and last time coming here and $30 down the drain for food that was gross and horrible service. Go give your time and money elsewhere. Huge disappointment.

Barbra D.

Yelp
i got a burrito ! it was delicious! very tasty and very filling. the customer service was great too! the lady who made my burrito was very friendly and efficient. the restaurant was clean and tidy. I highly recommend the pineapple salsa. It's sweet and delicious.

Amanda G.

Yelp
It's been a long time since we have visited this location post Covid and their long renovation. The day we ate here the food was out quickly and the staff was friendly and helpful!

Rhonda G.

Yelp
Bluecoast always does a great job with my order. Our family love eating there. Its inexpensive and taste good. The service is great and thorough. I like how everything tastes fresh. I would recommend their taco salad. It's the best!

Amanda S.

Yelp
Super clean and super efficient! Easy to order and quick out! I love the new layout since the remodel of this Blue Coast!

Jemia W.

Yelp
Customer service was excellent. I didn't have to wait long, food was prepared to my liking and tasted great! The lady who served my son and I was very personable.

Jason D.

Yelp
Incomprehensible. When you have grown adults behind the counter I don't know what the heck they're doing and they give you the worst food I've ever tasted in my life and this is been going on for the last three years by the way that's pre-pandemic by the way these are the worst Quesadillas, burritos and tacos I have ever ate at a Blue Coast and being in business let me tell you this place needs to be shut down once and for all replace it with I don't know what Taco Bell?!?!? I feel like you'll do better with that. The people behind the counter don't deserve their jobs let them go work the line on an assembly line and then they'll understand the value of the job that they truly have I am absolutely disgusted with what I ate tonight and the reason I ate it is because I'm hungry. But that doesn't help because now I'm Hangry!!! I mean how much brain power does it take to make sure that food is fresh and you serve it with a smile? So not only is the food disgusting the people are disgusting because their attitudes are disgusting I'm trying to get food with me and my daughter then I got this blonde haired chick that just wants to continue to have an attitude who looks like she's 40 btw, be a Becky or a Karen or whatever you wanna call this stuff today but anyway she's in her own feelings I guess and just not doing her best in a pandemic so screw the fact that you guys Want me to consider that a conglomerate like blue Coast burrito has franchises across the states and they want me to be understanding that everybody's doing the best in a pandemic?!?!? this place is not!!!! shut it down!!!! I will never go back and give them a dime of my money ever ever again and I will be up there tomorrow to speak to the general manager about all of this trust me I am absolutely and livid to no end I will be heard I will go to whoever I got to go to district manager of divisional regional I will be heard to the vice president to the president of this damn company and I will get my money back trust me trust you me this place sucks don't ever in here ever eat here all the other places in Nashville are great this one sucks all the other bluecoast in greater Nashville area are amazing don't ever eat at this one that's why it's a 2 1/2 star worst ever!!!!!!!!!!!

Jennifer S.

Yelp
I write this with a heavy heart but hopefully some things will improve. I have LOVED Blue Coast Burrito (I live down the street from the Lenox Village location) but since the renovation it's been beyond disappointing. The staff is downright RUDE. I walked in about 10 minutes before closing, noticed they still had everything out and plenty of people still in dining room. A girl barked "We are closed" and I kindly asked "I will be super quick, I see you have everything still out and there's still 10 minutes on the clock - I just would like a few tacos." The "manager" came over and gave me a super hard time before she huffed and puffed and walked away. The girl behind the counter literally threw the ingredients in the tortillas, rolled her eyes at me, forgot the guacamole and sour cream I requested but charged me, threw my stuff in a bag and didn't say a word the entire time. MeAnwhile a kid is behind the counter cursing and yelling up a storm about how "closed is closed and GO LOCK THE DOORS!" The food this time was gross. Barely edible. Please do something about this staff. I really want to come back and enjoy this place.

James S.

Yelp
Great burrito spot and the staff is usually nice. Great management too! We've been back several times since it opened after renovations!

Audrey C.

Yelp
Quite literally the worst. They have no sense of urgency, have kids working who seem to have no idea what they're doing, and the one employee who seemed to be trying to help still had no clue how to delegate so that orders were made accurately and efficiently. They allowed 2 guest in who were no wearing a mask. This is disrespectful and gross considering that others were in the lobby, and the food is prepared basically openly. I used to live in Murfreesboro and that location was never like this. I will not be coming back and I wouldn't suggest others do either.

Ryan C.

Yelp
Love this place. I eat here about 3 days a week or more for lunch around 2:30 PM. Always good food and great service. I get the burrito bowl. Love it. No complaints here.

Frank A.

Yelp
This place was terrible! my burrito was completely soggy, the cashier lady was so rude and kept staring at us while we ate and not to mention the chips were cold and stale... and the queso was gross. Will never be coming back to this location again

Michelle J.

Yelp
The manager Charity went above and beyond when we had an order mix up...She is the best! Will definitely be back!

Lily M.

Yelp
Terrible service here. They sighed and rolled their eyes when I walked in to get a TO GO order FORTY minutes before closing. They had already put up all of the salsas and had pulled everything out of the cold line. Employees were short & agitated at me. One employee accidentally poured queso into the serving dish of chicken on the line and did not do anything about it. Another employee scooped jalapeños into a togo container for someone with their bare hands, no gloves. It was also 80 something degrees inside there. As someone who used to work here a long time ago, I was extremely disappointed and disgusted. Not coming back here ever again sadly. I also called an hour before they closed to confirm that they were closing at 9, instead of 8, and they confirmed then said "oh my godddddd" and then hung up on me :) and the quesadilla ended up being horrible so honestly 0/5

McKenzie S.

Yelp
Avoiding the grocery store and a case of the hangries led me to choosing a place to eat out for a quick dinner. My boyfriend has been going on and on about the salsa at Blue Coast Burrito so I thought this would be a great opportunity to give the place a try. This Blue Coast is located in Lenox Village so it's pretty peaceful and kept clean. We arrived at Blue Coast at around 6:00 so of course we hit the dinner rush. The line was almost out the door but we didn't mind because it gave us time to look over the menu. The idea is pretty the same as Chipotle. Build your own meal. However, Blue Coast has a lot more options for you to choose from. You can choose from burritos, tacos, quesadillas, or nachos. What I really liked about here was you can choose the size of your burrito, small or regular. The small would be the perfect size for me but today I was sharing the burrito so went with the regular. You then get to choose your tortilla. Flour, chipotle, spinach, or wheat (only for the regular burrito-small only has flour). Then comes the meat. Grilled Chicken, LaTinga Chicken, Grilled Steak, or Carnitas. We went for the steak which is chopped. After all of this comes the freebie extras. There are a lot of choices! Rice, beans, cheese, sour cream, cilantro, tomatoes, pico de gallo, onions, lettuce, black olives, jalapenos, cucumbers, and salsa. Everything is fresh and piled on. Then of course they have the paid extras like queso and guac. We got the combo which included a drink and chips with the salsa bar. A huge meal for a great price. We loaded up on the pineapple salsa and made our way outside to sit on their patio. The food: the salsa lived up to the hype. It was delicious and we devoured the chips in no time. If they were selling jars of salsa I would for sure buy a bunch. Spicy with a hint of sweet from the pineapple. Yum. The burrito was also great. I usually like my meat to be a little juicier but the steak was still good. The veggies were fresh. The size was perfect for sharing. Overall, a great meal that I would definitely eat again. To comment more specifically on this location, the service was outstanding. With a line out the door, the workers kept their cool and had smiles on their faces. They joked around with the customers and made what could have been a chaotic situation light and fun. The restaurant itself has plenty of seating inside and out. Their is a patio in the front and in the back. The back offers more shade if it's really hot out. It's nothing fancy but is kept clean and organized. Convenient, fast, and yummy!

Jessica K.

Yelp
I've had the burrito and tacos from here; both were really cold. I understand that they're not gonna be burning hot or anything; but it was a little too cold. In addition to that, I believe they season their steak. I personally don't like the seasoning they have on their steak; it doesn't blend too well with the burrito/taco overall. They have really good pineapple salsa and amazing fruit tea though! I make sure to get both on the side whenever I order from here.

Nick M.

Yelp
Slowest service I've ever had. Food was fine but these high school kids are so freaking slow. I had 2 people in front of me -literally 20 minutes just to start taking my order. And they take to go orders/Postmates before people standing in line. Go to el sombrero across the street, much better and quicker

Mindi F.

Yelp
I've been going to Bluecoast in Cool Springs ever since it opened. Every time I have to come to this location in Lennox it gives me so much anxiety I would rather drive 25 minutes out of my way to go to the other one. Lennox is closer to my house but I actively avoid it. Made the mistake of going here again, the employees are the rudest humans. They stare at you and then give each other looks as if they are in high school (maybe they are) and need to make fun of other people. They conduct themselves so unprofessionally. Joking around, being loud. The place was a mess. A girl spilled an entire container of dressing on the floor and didn't clear it up while the other one was loudly complaining about the mess. I was asked if paid 2 different times after being paid out for nine more minutes waiting for two items with four employees working the front and five total guests in the building (already served) Also, why are your employees preparing peoples meals without masks on? Pulling them down below their chin so they can goof off at a louder volume is both inconsiderate and against the mask mandate. We won't be back for this, and plenty of other reasons and I'll be sharing this information as much as possible. Hopefully with someone who will actually do something about it. Do better.

John S.

Yelp
Really? This is embarrassing. I thought I got an order of toppings but to my surprise there was actually meat in my order (which I wanted, there was just so little of it I didn't think any was in it). I'm gonna stick with Chipotle from here on out.

Dollr B.

Yelp
I just love blue coast burrito. Wow! What an awesome concept. The staff are nice and professional and I always have a great experience.

Elizabeth M.

Yelp
They should be thankful their food is good because the service and environment are horrible. I think we just come back for the food. Literally no one is ever in there eating, I think they only really do to go orders. The employees are rude and unfriendly. It seems to be managed very poorly. Today I went in for a to go order at my scheduled pick up time and they hadn't even looked at it and even told me they didn't "have an order under my name", which they did. Again, bad service but pretty good food if you live near by.

DerekD R.

Yelp
Love this location for two reasons. 1 They always give me good service and 2 its walking distance. Ok, maybe a couple more things like the food is good and Kids night on tuesdays makes it great. This is what I used to think. They don't have good workers or mgt anymore. The god days are gone. Never get my phone orders right and they don't keep it clean.

Kimberlee B.

Yelp
Awful, first and last time ordering from here. It took an extra 20 min for my pickup to be ready. They didn't put steak on my nachos, just dumped beans and cheese in the box. My tacos tasted awful like dog food.

Anthony H.

Yelp
They assumed my age and to expensive. I miss the old employees not the old lady( the one who assumes my age ) I had a bad experience. Mean

Shane J.

Yelp
Went here on Tuesday the 16th around 8pm and place was so effen nasty and the employees were very rude will never eat here again!!!!

Sarah S.

Yelp
We go to Blue Coast frequently, since it is close to our neighborhood school. We have honestly never had a bad experience there! Sometimes we just pop by after school for a chips and guacamole snack to talk about the kids' days. As a family, we've enjoyed their Tuesday night family deals for years, and the place is always packed on Tuesday. Our family favorites at this restaurant are the salsa bar, the fruit tea, the guacamole, and the Mexican popsicles. It's a great location to meet lots of people for a get-together, because they have a lot of seating and they offer two outdoor seating options - covered (back) or uncovered (front). The new manager is really attentive to any concerns and makes sure we know that our satisfaction is important. This summer our home AC went out, and to get out of the heat we went to Blue Coast for dinner. It turns out I forgot my wallet, and it had been a long, stressful day. The manager knew we were in there all the time and graciously offered to let me pay the next time I came back. In reading these reviews, I can see that some people have had issues, but that has not been our experience. We love supporting local restaurants and introducing new people in our community to this location!

Elle D.

Yelp
I have only been to this location twice, but both times my order was prepared incorrectly. The food is ok, but attention to detail would improve the experience.

Kim G.

Yelp
I will say if you have not visited this blue Coast burrito you need to visit the customer service was exceptional charity is one of the most wonderful most giving most dedicated bosses that I've ever seen she makes the experience a world-class experience you don't feel like you're eating at a local establishment you feel like you're eating in Europe or France a first class experience and I encourage you all if you believe in supporting your local businesses to come and give this establishment a chance the food was excellent but the customer service was extremely excellent if I can say that I will come back at least once or twice a week.

Scott T.

Yelp
Blue Coast is a proximity food for me :) I live in the neighborhood so when I want a quick bit for lunch, Blue Coast finds its way to the the top of the list quite often. Food is on par with other burrito shops like it. Salsa is great though!

Robert B.

Yelp
Waited 15 mins in line to have the only cashier walk away from their register once I (the last person in line at the time) made it to the front. Needless to say I walked out and took my money and appetite to a much better and friendlier establishment.

Jenny W.

Yelp
Absolutely awful. AWFUL! I was served the scraps of "grilled peppers and onions" which were basically raw. The "steak" looked (and tasted) like refried beans. And the salt content was outrageous. On the flip side, the guacamole had zero flavor. Inedible and completely inexcusable for 6:30pm on a Friday night.

Rebecca L.

Yelp
AWESOME. The small steak burrito is enough. It is honestly too much for lunch. Just cut it in half.In and out, no long wait for food. They have 4 different kinds of salsa. They do charge extra for guacamole and sour cream. The tea and fruit juice are delicious. Customer service is always superb. Tables could just be cleaned of a little more. Always a good experience when I go.

Shawn P.

Yelp
Preetytgood food and good service. Brought in a large group and they did a great job processing us through

Asia-Bryanne G.

Yelp
Stopped by the other day for a burrito. Prices are comparable to other burrito places, and they are apart of the Spring rewards so I got $5 cash back. Restaurant is clean. Ingredients are fresh. The staff are extremely friendly and personable.

Val T.

Yelp
If you live at Lenox, this is a convenient place if you are too lazy to go anywhere else, it's too cold to drive anywhere else, or you're too broke for the gas/money for the nearest Chipotle. They have your usual tex-mex type of food, but nothing that screams HEY! I do appreciate they sell popsicles from Las Paletas and they're buffet style salsa. Other than that, it's merely here for convenience.

Ryan O.

Yelp
At one time I really loved Blue Coast however I have to downgrade them to just okay. I've come to have high standards for tex mex and I feel like Blue Coast falls kind of short of what I consider great. The fish tacos are probably my favorite option here. Next on my list would be the latinga chicken tacos or burrito. The salsa bar is also a plus... if you get a side of chips you can choose from an array of several salsas. Notable amongst the salsa is the sweet flavored pineapple salsa. I've never really had any salsa like this and it is quite good. It is a local franchised chain so you are likely to get a similar experience at any other Blue Coast you visit in the greater metro Nashville area. You could do a lot worse when it comes to tex mex and I certainly rank this above Moe's or other lowly places like Baja Fresh however I can't help but feel like Baja Burrito or Chipotle are really much better options and worth the drive even if they are not as conveniently located as Blue Coast.
