Blue Daisy Review - Santa Monica - Los Angeles - The Infatuation

"This small cafe is a nice casual option in downtown Santa Monica. The servers are super friendly, the food is solid and not too expensive, and there are people who actually live in the area here, not just tourists. There's often a wait, which may have something to do with their weekday-only bottomless brunch. Get the French Toast and the eggs scandia. photo credit: Jessie Clapp" - Amy Clark

Creative and tasty menu! I had the fig, honey, and goat cheese toast - absolutely delicious. My eggs over medium were just okay, but the flavors overall were fun and thoughtfully done. My in-laws enjoyed a fresh and flavorful salmon croissant sandwich, and my fiancé had a waffle with scrambled eggs cooked hard, just how he likes them. The drinks are lovely unless you order a soda, in which case you're given a dirty can and a glass. The service was friendly but very slow, and the atmosphere was a bit chaotic with lots of loud kids. Still, a unique spot worth trying if you're not in a rush and don’t mind a lively crowd.

Beautiful cafe with an excellently curated menu! I came here for breakfast at around 8 AM on a Saturday and was greeted and seated immediately. I ordered two items from their vegan menu, a long with a Turkish coffee (with oat milk) and an iced coffee. I had avocado toast and their vegan ratatouille. Both were extremely delicious, seasoned exceptionally well and the toppings on the avocado toast were fresh and so flavorful! The portion sizes were perfect, I came in famished and left completely satiated! The Turkish coffee was so delicious and generously portioned, it tasted like a dessert! Absolutely loved how it complemented my meal! I definitely recommend Blue Daisy for anyone looking for a bright, comfortable, beautiful cafe for breakfast!

Very pleased with my visit! I got there right as they opened so the coffee was fresh and the service was very attentive. Only small “issues” were the eggs could have been seasoned or something vs plain over-easy and the homemade sausage patty was a bit overcooked. That said, the overall meal was delightful and well proportioned

Went to Blue Daisy this morning with a friend, and what an unexpected surprise! Greeted with a glass of champagne and friendly staff, I already had a great feeling that we would have a wonderful experience. My friend ordered the salmon crepe, and I had the egg and bacon breakfast croissant sandwich. My sandwich was delicious and perfectly cooked. We ordered Bloody Marys, and admittedly, these were one of the best ones I have ever had! If you are visiting Santa Monica or live in the area, Blue Daisy is a quaint breakfast cafe with a warm atmosphere, great food, and friendly staff-try them out.

Blue Daisy Café: A Coastal Brunch Haven in Santa Monica On a cool Sunday morning in Santa Monica, I discovered Blue Daisy Café—a local gem that perfectly balances Southern California's coastal charm with exceptional culinary offerings. Ambience & Service The moment you enter, the open windows and doors welcome the ocean breeze, creating a seamless indoor-outdoor experience. The interior strikes a perfect balance with plush couches and fluffy seat covers alongside traditional seating, all bathed in a combination of dim lighting and natural sunlight streaming through large windows. What truly sets Blue Daisy apart is its staff. Servers move through the space with choreographed grace, occasionally singing in Spanish as they deliver food with genuine warmth and attentiveness. Their positive energy is contagious, elevating the entire dining experience. The Food The breakfast burrito—recommended as a local specialty—arrived as a generous portion accompanied by a fresh side salad. The burrito maintained perfect temperature throughout the meal, with a tender tortilla encasing a harmonious blend of eggs, cheese, and meat. The accompanying green sauce provided just enough heat to enhance the flavors, while the side salad's creamy dressing offered a refreshing contrast. At $20-30 per person, Blue Daisy positions itself in the premium casual dining category, but the quality ingredients, generous portions (enough to share), and overall experience justify the price. Beyond excellent food, they offer expertly crafted coffee, espresso, and a full bar selection. Final Verdict Blue Daisy Café delivers that rare experience where food, service, and atmosphere align perfectly. Whether you choose to sit inside or at the sidewalk tables to people-watch, this café offers an authentic taste of Santa Monica's culinary scene in an environment that captures the essence of coastal California. For locals and visitors alike, Blue Daisy Café earns a well-deserved five stars. Just be prepared to walk off that generous breakfast burrito afterward—it's as filling as it is delicious.

Found this little cafe on Christmas Eve and we're glad we did. Went for breakfast. The food was very fresh and tasted great. Coffee was also very nice. Plenty of gluten free options so everyone is covered. Service was fast and attentive.

We stayed at an Airbnb nearby and decided to try Blue Daisy for breakfast with my wife and our 11-month-old baby on a Monday morning around 8 am. When we arrived, it was almost empty, but by 9 am, the place was completely full, which shows how popular it is! The restaurant has a large and beautiful outdoor patio, which is perfect for enjoying the sunny Santa Monica weather. There’s also plenty of indoor seating if you prefer to dine inside. One of the highlights for us was that they had a high chair available, making it very family-friendly and convenient for parents. [HOT DRINKS] +Turkish Coffee (small, espresso size) for $5 - 4/5 +Turkish Latté (creamy and a touch of sweetness) for $6.50 - I didn’t try it, but my wife enjoyed it. [BREAKFAST] +Breakfast Combo (3 eggs any style, turkey bacon, French toast with fruit) for $20 - Everything was great, but I wished I ordered normal bacon instead of the turkey bacon. The turkey bacon was a bit dry and not as enjoyable as normal bacon would have been. - 4.5/5 +Breakfast Burrito (eggs, bacon, meatsauce, tomatoes, onions, cilantro, mix cheese, side of salsa, and mix green salad) for $20 - I didn’t try it, but my wife liked it a lot. [SIDES] +Seasoned French fries for $7 - 4.5/5 Overall, the food was delicious, and the atmosphere was welcoming and comfortable. It’s a great spot for breakfast or brunch, whether you’re with family, friends, or even solo. I’d definitely recommend it, and we’d love to come back again on our next visit to Santa Monica!

Wow, this place has really gone downhill over the years. I’ve been coming here for over a decade, but after today, I’m officially removing it from my list. They used to have one of the best brunch menus in town 8–10 years ago. But for some reason, they’ve drastically reduced their menu, even though they used to have lines out the door. Why cut back when demand was clearly there? There were still a couple of go to items I’d come back for, but now even those are gone. The quality has taken a nosedive too. They’ve removed classics like the Egg Scandia, which was their signature dish. And the new breakfast burrito? Honestly, I’ve had better from a 7-Eleven. These days, there are no more lines, which says a lot, yet management seems to be doubling down on the wrong decisions. I wouldn’t be surprised if they close within a year if this keeps up. Unless they return to the quality and variety that made them special in the first place, I don’t see a future here.

Yelp
We had a wonderful breakfast at Blue Daisy while staying nearby. We arrived around 8 AM with our 11-month-old baby and were happy to see they had high chairs available--such a plus for families! The outdoor patio was beautiful, and the food was just as impressive. I loved my Turkish latté--it was creamy with just the right amount of sweetness. The breakfast burrito was flavorful and filling, and the seasoned fries were a perfect side. By 9 AM, the place was packed, so I'm glad we came early. Great food, cozy vibe, and super family-friendly--I'd definitely come back!

Yelp
This was a really sweet find. They have gluten-free options for crêpes and other dishes, including French toast. We ordered the gluten-free French toast and the bacon crêpe to share. The portion sizes were large, for sharing so it was nice to have some variety. The crêpe came with a salad, which was really good--I loved the dressing. The French toast was served with bananas and fresh strawberries, which made it even more enjoyable to have the fresh fruit. The waiters were very nice and helpful, but there was a slight delay in service. I had to ask for a menu and the check twice, even though it wasn't super busy at the time due to the fires and wind storm nearby. The food did come quickly, once we got the menus and ordered. We found parking on the street, which cost about $2.50 an hour, and we needed about an hour for the whole meal. I'm not sure if there was other parking nearby, but it wasn't hard to find. My daughter really enjoyed this spot, and so did I. If it hadn't been so windy, we would've loved to sit outside. While everything else was wonderful, the delay in getting menus and the check are why I gave them four out of five stars. Overall, our experience was delightful, and we would definitely return.

Yelp
Blue Daisy is a popular Breakfast, Brunch and Lunch spot in Santa Monica that is open daily from 8 am to 4 pm. The place is popular and there were a few people out there waiting to be seated. Even though I was traveling solo, I made a reservation. I should say at the onset that they have no lot parking. However, there was street parking and I was fortunate to get a spot across from the restaurant. This is another plus for the eatery because it is not in a busy area and therefore, is easily accessible. Walking in, the place was packed and I was able to get a corner table, which I hoped would be a warm area of the dining space. More on that later. I came here to order something different and chose the Mediterranean Eggs (3 eggs sunny side up with tomatoes, bell peppers, basil, feta, bread). The dish arrived with mouthwatering optics and an inviting aroma. I liked how the sliced tomatoes and bell peppers were imbedded in the egg whites, with the fresh basil used as a garnish. I asked for the feta on the side (glad I did because I do not think the dish needed it). The bread was beautifully toasted and married well with the accompanying house strawberry jam. I asked for a side of bacon and got 3 skimpy strips, which were over priced. While the Breakfast dish was a sure winner on taste, freshness, texture, flavor and ingredients, it was cooling fast. Why? The establishment had both the front and back doors open, on this chilly day. Most people were eating in their winter jackets. Why do restaurants adopt this practice? Do they wish to serve cold food? It dampened what otherwise would have been a warm and cozy brunch experience.

Yelp
11/06/2024 Blue Daisy - Santa Monica I've been to Blue Daisy for brunch several times and always enjoyed their breakfast items. Today, I decided to try their lunch menu, and it did not disappoint! Both Marco and Marcelo provided excellent service, making the experience even better. The food was delicious, and the atmosphere was perfect for a relaxing meal. I look forward to coming back soon!

Yelp
This place was very cute inside & right on the corner! The staff were friendly & attentive. We came for breakfast on a Saturday and were sat down quickly. The breakfast was okay! Maybe we should have tried some of the other items, but nonetheless very tasty! I enjoyed the yogurt bowl! There were nuts, & peanut butter, and berries The French toast was a bit hard and the patty tasted like a hamburger patty. Overall a very aesthetic restaurant & have heard great things about this place. I will definitely try it out again to try the other food items.

Yelp
Very cute restaurant located in the bottom of a fancy apartment complex on the crossing of 6th street and broadway!! The service is amazing and the entire kitchen are there to help you enjoy your meal. The Turkish latte is a must have and the Halloumi grilled cheese is a must as well!! The food is amazingly prepped and taste fresh!! Amazing experience and will do it again! Being originally from Syria, Turkish food is home and reminds me of home!

Yelp
Blue Daisy is a top notch place for a yummy casual breakfast. There was a short wait when we went on a Saturday morning but it was well worth it. The food is healthy and hearty. The Napa Scramble was filled with veggies and the sun dried tomato's really made it flavorful. It was tapped with a half sliced avocado. The cappucino was creamy and rich. Would definitely make this a regular breakfast stop.

Yelp
May 14, 2024/ Santa Monica: Discovered Blue Daisy via YELP! Love this place! It's cute, stylish & the food is absolutely delicious! It sort of gives me Miami vibes! Croissant & Smoked Salmon Sandwich($19): Absolutely delicious! Fluffiest & softest croissant, plenty of salmon with cream cheese, cucumbers, tomatoes and pickles, and the mixed side salad was even amazing! Loved it! Zucchini Hash: My friend gave me some of his zucchini hash browns, and it was mouthwatering delicious! I'll definitely order as a side next time! Decor: Very Miami; colorful, stylish, eclectic & full of personality! Customer Service: Friendly & service with a smile, as well as helpful with the menu! There were so many good choices! Plenty of seating on the front patio, inside as well as the back patio! I'll definitely be back! Overall: I'm already thinking about what I'll order on my next visit! I may even order the same thing, as it was absolutely mouthwatering & full of flavor!

Yelp
My friend and I came here for a quick brunch after a workout. There was a line for a table (we didn't have a reservation), but there was plenty of open space at the bar. I ordered the shakshuka and my friend ordered the turkey sandwich with gluten free bread. The shakshuka was hearty, so I was glad that it's a starter. It's nice that they have gluten free bread since not many places offer that option. Our server was very kind, and the food came out relatively fast. I'd definitely come again if/when I'm in the area.

Yelp
This place was okay the waiters were very knowledgeable, but the fresh orange juice wasn't as good as Jamba Juice to be honest but the location and the breeze from the ocean definitely have u enjoying it alittle more. Small portion of French Toast if u ask me, but again, it was okay!!

Yelp
Blue Daisy Cafe is the perfect brunch spot. The decor is just lovely, there is more than enough indoor and outdoor seating and the service is excellent. The food was fantastic. We ordered: Chai Latte Zaatar Eggs and Sujuk Eggs Florentine The ingredients are fresh, the portions are good and the house made sujuk sausage and zucchini hash browns were delicious! I will definitely make this one of my regular spots!

Yelp
Great spot for brunch! The whole restaurant is so beautiful and the food tastes amazing. This is definitely a go to spot for me.

Yelp
Breakfast Burrito was excellent! I'm not sure what the meat sauce is exactly (help me out here?), but it's really good! The nutella banana strawberry crepe was pretty solid too. Decent fruit selection as well in the fruit bowl. My friend liked her Ham Panini as well. My only gripe keeping this from a 6 is I wish you could add the grilled chicken breast or other meats INTO the breakfast burrito - that would be awesome! Would def consider ordering from here again.

Yelp
This is a really cute corner cafe restaurant in Santa Monica. Very bright and airy space great for a weekend brunch. They don't take reservations but got here just before noon and were seated within minutes. They had a lot of interesting things on the menu and curious by the food being brought to other tables that we had a hard time deciding what to get for ourselves. lol We ultimately decided on the napa scramble and the bacon crepe, accompanied by a chai latte and coffee. Everything was a solid 4 stars. The staff here are super friendly and cheerful. The service is quick despite how busy it was during typical brunch hours. They have both indoor and outdoor seating and street parking in the area actually was pretty easy.

Yelp
Randomly stopped here for breakfast on a Sunday as we were walking around Santa Monica. Only planned on getting coffee to go but ended up sitting down inside and getting a full brunch haha We got the breakfast plate, bacon crepe and bagel and smoked salmon plate. We each enjoyed our meal very much! Both lattes were good, wasn't a big fan of the Turkish latte. Service was nice, they have QR code menus. Gets busy so there may be a long wait on weekends. Also the pancakes in my breakfast plate were nice and fluffy! So good!! Nice walkable location if you're shopping in Santa Monica like we were :)

Yelp
I went back to Blue Daisy yesterday (my second time there) and I loved it! I ordered an oat milk latte, half order of the blueberry pancakes, and a side order of 2 scrambled eggs. The interior is trendy and chic. The blueberry pancakes were on the thinner side but had good texture and real blueberries inside the batter. I don't like the ones where they give you an overly sweet blueberry compote on the side, and call it blueberry pancakes. The latte was delicious and beautiful ! The prices are on the higher end given this is Santa Monica and 6 blocks from the ocean. I was there for almost an hour, and they never rushed me. I felt relaxed and at home. Great food, service and ambiance.

Yelp
Cute brunch spot in Santa Monica! We went around 2:30pm on a Friday and it was absolutely empty, so if you're looking to avoid the long lines and wait, would recommend going around this time LOL. Because the restaurant was so empty, a lot of the ambiance was gone, but the decor inside was cute and the whole place felt nice and modern. We ordered the pancakes, which come with fresh strawberries, bananas, and powdered sugar dusted on top, as well as the eggs scandia, which was 2 poached eggs over smoked salmon on a croissant (you can substitute the smoked salmon for a different protein too). It also came with a little side salad. The poached eggs were nicely runny. The food was great, but pretty standard tasting and not that memorable. Still, it was a great brunch and it was nice that we didn't have to wait! Service was great as well and the food didn't take too long to come out.

Yelp
Cute and comfy corner cafe to enjoy a tasty meal. Bonus off the top was we were seated right away on the outdoor patio had a welcoming breeze. Food options were just right and I decided on the Mascarpone Crepe with mixed berry sauce and bananas, my hubby had the breakfast burrito, and my son went with the breakfast combo. I really enjoyed my crepe with the fresh homemade berry sauce. I ate every last bite. There were only cleaned plates left on the table. In addition, we brought back a side of pancakes for my daughter in law and she said they were the best pancakes she has ever had. Next time we are in Santa Monica, we will definitely be back and bring the dog.

Yelp
Great brunch spot in Santa Monica! Got seated quickly, they have you wait outside and they give you a table when they're ready. Turnover is quick, the kitchen works fast and the servers are attentive! The atmosphere is upbeat and trendy, there's seating both indoor and outdoor with aesthetic decorations. The food was great! A bit pricey, but expected for LA area. The portions were nice, I didn't feel bombarded but didn't feel like I was being ripped off. The combinations were delicious, I loved the goat cheese in my scramble and the croissant was baked to perfection. Great, speedy service. Good food. Nice atmosphere. Upscale and trendy.

Yelp
I went to grab a bite to eat here with a friend and I've never been here before and it was the cutest place. I got a bloody Mary which I'm very picky about and it was delicious and the ambience was just fine. The vibe was so cool everyone was friendly we were sad right away Ordered our food. The food came in perfect. It was just an amazing experience. Hands down all the way across the board I highly recommend brunch lovers going to check out blue Daisy! Cute, brunch place check. Good food check.

Yelp
Cute little spot for brunch! The decor is adorable and on a Saturday late morning/early afternoon, it wasn't too busy to be able to have a conversation with a friend. The food came out quickly and tasted fresh. Definitely worth a try!

Yelp
Perfect quaint California casual vibe. Great choice for brunch when in the Santa Monica area. Loved my avocado toast, poached egg and latte ( the latte was AMAZING). Rest of my crew enjoyed their Greek yogurt/ fruit/ honey/ chia seeds bowl , eggs Benedict and one of my teens ordered sliders with fries ( weird brunch choice but was super happy so who cares). Great menu, great food, good service. Huge win - highly recommend! .

Yelp
I was planning on getting some food before going to the museum and found this was close by. It was busy but we were seated at the bar. Was able to order a Greek bowl and Turkish latte. It was tasty and the coffee was good. Also got to try a Bloody Mary. The people were kind and helpful.

Yelp
I loved the atmosphere here! It's lovely for an early morning brunch and the decorations are very instagram worthy haha. Service is kind and they have a wide variety of food. We ordered the roasted turkey sandwich and the bacon egg cheese croissant sandwich. One thing that peeves me is that they don't tell you that there's an upcharge to change the salad it comes with for fries. The fries are yummy though and came with chili powder on top. The croissant sandwich is stuffed and delicious, I would recommend it! Yes, it's only two bucks but you should disclose that. I also got a spanish latte... don't recommend. It was 7 bucks for a coffee that tasted like you could make it at home. They do have a bar so I would recommend for drinks! Maybe not coffee.

Yelp
This place is A very relaxed cafe with great ambiance, great food and drinks and a friends staff. Highly recommended if in Santa Monica area. You know a place is good when the side salad is incredible. Very impressed.

Yelp
Tasty brunch. It does get busy! There was a line at 9:30am but they had room at the bar. We ordered via QR code, but other people got paper menus. Perhaps we look tech and mobile friendly. The fig honey and goat cheese toast was sweet and a great starter. We wanted to have a savory and sweet meal so we ordered the egg scania with salmon and French toast. We saw the croissant version of French toast and it had ice cream but we didn't want to double up on croissants. We noticed how wasteful some other patrons are with leaving behind their full orange juice and avocado! I also heard a few people asked for hash browns but they only have zucchini hash. People have to be more adventurous! When done we pay with a mobile POS. Be aware the tip % is calculated on the after tax instead of pretax so I had to do some math. There are two unisex restrooms, and the one inside was a little hot. Parking is available in the complex but we walked from the Pier. Overall filling brunch (especially the free coffee) just at a higher price point.
google avatar

Katie H.

Yelp
We went here for brunch on a Friday morning before heading over to the Santa Monica Pier. Good location and the service was friendly but the food was nothing special. The water cup they brought me was dirty but they were nice about bringing another. I had the poached eggs over zucchini "appetizer" and while the zucchini was a nice change of pace from your standard hash browns, it was a little cold and the breading lacked the crisp I was hoping for. The whole dish needed more flavor so I asked for a side of hot sauce. The sauce was delicious! I'm not sure if they make it in house or not but it definitely wasn't any of the usual suspects (Frank's, Cholula, Tabasco, etc.). My friend got the smoked salmon crepe and it was pretty big but she said it lacked flavor as well and ended up sharing my hot sauce to spice it up.

Yelp
This place owns my heart. A new home for lone travelers! I go out alone and Chayo has helped make this place home. I love sitting at the bar. Bloody Mary's are the main reason I return while I've tried many things on the menu. The mini sliders are to die for as well as the croissant breakfast sandwich. Sit with Chayo and let him provide the best service in town.

Yelp
A CLASS OF IT'S OWN ! Even though we live a lot closer to this fabulous cafe it's still a 60 mile hike from Irvine. We got sick of daydreaming about the amazing breakfast dishes and el perfecto lattes. On Sunday my wife and I hit the road at 7am for the long drive here....luckily not too much traffic. We parked in a metered street spot right out front at 7.50am. A BIT EARLY ! They open at 8am. And then we were in....familiar faces like Susy and Jorge greeted us. WHERE'S MARCELO I asked ? After I hit the restroom I ran into our good friend the mercurial manager Marcelo. I headed back to our table booth in the corner. Soon after Marcelo came by to say hi to my wife and take our breakfast order. SUCH A LOVELY GUY ! Now I was torn between ordering a regular double shot latte or a Turkish latte ( much larger but so delicious ). We love both....the local coffee roaster they use supplies them with a rich flavorsome blend. REMEMBER ! Blue Daisy is not a coffee shop nor a coffee bean roaster but I can assure you their incredible lattes are as good as it gets. WOW ! Marcelo suggested he would make us Turkish Lattes in the regular size art nouveau cups. YEAB BABY ! As Marcelo explained they still use their regular coffee beans but mix it with Turkish coffee..and of course sprinkle Turkish coffee on top. I also ordered a fresh squeezed orange juice...and let me tell you it was fresh squeezed moments before it was placed on our table. FOOD ! We both had to have Eggs Florentine ( ( sautéed mushrooms & spinach on english muffin, cream cheese, poached eggs, zucchini hash, hollandaise )...hard poached eggs for me and scrambled eggs ( special order ) for my wife. WHOO HOO ! Our amazing looking Turkish Lattes arrived and oh did they taste fabulous...blew up our tastebuds ! Before too long our Eggs Florentine dishes arrived...you have never seen a more delicious looking breakfast dish. Of course it comes with Zucchini Hash..to die for and a fresh side salad. LOVE LOVE LOVE ! When you travel 60 miles for breakfast you are hoping it's going to worth the long drive. AND IT WAS ! My fresh squeezed orange juice tasted perfectly fresh. We must have lingered on our Turkish Lattes until the very last drop was gone. Of course I had to get a selfie with incredible Chef Fermin and one with Marcelo the manager. WE LOVED IT ALL ! NOTE - With 20 million views of my Yelp reviews and pics world wide in 2023 I can tell you what is great !

Yelp
My new favorite brunch place!!! The food was so yummy and it all came out at good timing. Can't wait to go back!

Yelp
It's important to point out that Yelp reviews are a snapshot of one moment in time. Bad reviews can be petty and involve things that are completely out of the establishment's control (like street construction) while most one-star reviews are based on menu prices. When people pay more than they can comfortably afford, they tend to be critical of the establishment versus publicly admitting that, based on their bank statement, they probably should have eaten breakfast at IHOP. Our experience at Blue Daisy was great. I always do my due diligence when traveling because I'm always on the prowl for great french toast or pancakes. If there's a better breakfast in Santa Monica, I'd be shocked. The croissant french toast was divine, as was the pistachio baklava. The salmon eggs benedict was cooked perfectly, and I'm not usually a fan of english-muffin benedicts (I prefer a potato cake or something similar) because the bread ends up gooey and bland. This was the best benedict dish I've had in a long time. My wife had a dish that had fig and goat cheese with nuts on toast (I can't recall the name of the dish), and the bite I had was great. Yes, it wasn't cheap, but it was well worth the price. If I wanted a cheap breakfast, I would have gone to Denny's. Unfortunately, my wife doesn't like to eat at the same establishments when we travel. If it were up to me, we would have eaten at the Blue Daisy every morning of our trip to Santa Monica.

Yelp
Cute vibe and outdoor seating area was nice. Didn't have a reservation but thankfully didn't have to wait long. There was a barcode for the menu. I split a florentine crepe ($17) with my friend. Presentation for it was alright but I didn't expect much for a crepe. Thought my friends' food looked tasty though. The service was fast and our server was nice.

Super cute and yummy! My friend and I came due to a recommendation from someone and it did not disappoint! My friend enjoyed her avocado toast and I thought the salmon croissant was really good, the perfect amount of savory! The matcha was a bit milky so I would skip on that but otherwise the food is great! Service was super fast despite how busy it was and workers were so sweet.

Yelp
My sister and I did a long walk at the beach then came here for brunch on a Saturday afternoon. I'm not a fan of Santa Monica, but I can say that Blue Daisy is the one spot where I feel I could spend hours pondering my life and then eating it away. It's such a cute cafe, close to the beach but far enough from it that you don't feel swamped by tourists. The wait was minimal when we arrived around 12:30 and the food was too good. We parked almost a block away on the street and walked and it wasn't stressful at all. HIGHLY recommend for breakfast or brunch and I'd describe the food as comfort food but elevated. I was wearing a big hoodie the day I visited and ordered a Turkish latte and after I took my first sip, I didn't want to leave. For food, started with their yogurt bowl which was healthy and delicious followed by their croissant French toast which could be dessert. I should've stopped at the French toast because it was perfection, but I wanted savory and got the Egg Scandia. The Egg Scandia is so simple, but it was perfectly delicious. The Egg was a little runny which I loved and the croissants were perfect as was the combination of the egg, tomato, etc. My sister ordered the goat cheese and fig toast and said that was excellent as well. The service was pretty good, they're fast here and all of our food came out at the right time. Only part that took a while was waiting for the bill, but honestly I could've stayed longer and just started at nothing and sipped on my Turkish latte.

Yelp
Came here for Sunday brunch with a big group (18 ppl). There's a lot of street, meter parking at the time so it wasn't hard to find parking, which is great in Santa Monica. Inside is a bit small but their have some outdoor seating area that could accommodate our group size. Decor is nice and pleasant so great if you just want to have a leisurely meal. There wasn't mush foot traffic at the time so not much people watching. The staff was patient with our size. They missed an order that unfortunately came after everyone else finished. Overall the staff was nice. Regarding the food, The croissant smoked salmon sandwich was tasty so I recommend it if you like smoke salmon. The breakfast burrito was bland so I do not recommend it if you need flavoring. The salsa helped but was enough for the size of the burrito. But if you eat "healthy", then this is okay.

Yelp
Chicken was very dry and salad was decent. Never tried Turkish coffee before but I heard great things and it didn't disappoint. It was on the sweeter side, so I'm not sure if that's how traditional Turkish lattes are made. The ambiance was cute and quaint & the service was attentive.

Yelp
I love this place. They have great food and drinks. The service is on the slower side but the waitress/waiters are very nice. My go to's are the Turkish latte and matcha latte. The pancakes, croissant sandwich, French toast, and avocado toast, and crepe are all delicious. The ambience is nice, decor is cute, and it isn't very loud. I highly recommend it.

Yelp
Super glad we decided on Blue Daisy for brunch. We ordered the Bagel & Smoked Salmon Plate, Breakfast Combo, and the Bacon Crepe. The menu has many options to choose from. Although we didn't try any of the cocktails, they had a good selection to offer. The restaurant is on the smaller side, so expect there to be a wait. Overall, we all enjoyed our dishes and would go back!

Yelp
Super cute, aesthetic little brunch spot. Def gets busy, and got there around 11, luckily there was street parking still available. The servers were very nice and quick with everything. Ended up getting the creamy chicken mushroom crepe, which was really good, the salad side was just okay. The turkish coffee was also really good too. We also got the salmon eggs benedict and a chai latte, which was pretty solid as well! Overall good brunch spot and you can walk down a few blocks to the shopping area which was also nice!

Yelp
Overall: My favorite brunch spot! Food: The food here is absolutely amazing! I got the breakfast platter which comes with fresh veggies, toast (which I was able to get gluten-free), feta, Turkish sausage (so yummy), and a rose jam mixed with cream. The rose jam and cream combo is to die for!!!! I've been back just for a side of that. The gluten-free bread they use too is definitely the best I've had at a restaurant. I also ordered the Turkish latte and it was so delicious- definitely a must everyone should order! Ambiance & Service: Such a cute place with both indoor and outdoor seating. The staff are very kind and attentive. It gets pretty busy and they do an amazing job. GF Options: So many options! And able to customize multiple dishes to make them gf!

Yelp
Stopped in for a Friday brunch and it was quick to be seated. They do bottomless mimosas on weekdays, so we indulged in that. They brought a whole pitcher to the table, and we got our moneys worth. Food was pretty good, not the best breakfast ever, but still very satisfying. Service was awesome. Staff was friendly. And we loved the vibe of the back patio.

Yelp
Food here is always good and flavorful. We came here for breakfast. We started by sharing the warm toast with Figs, Honey, and Goat Cheese. This was devine!!!! The combination of the ingredients melted in our mouths. I ordered the Zaatar & Sujuk ( sunny side up eggs cooked wjth Turkish sujuk, which is a sausage.) I loved the spicy sausage eith the eggs! My friend ordered a scrambled eggs with mushroom and a plain crepe with 2 zucchini hash browns. She didn't care for her dish and said she would "doctor" her leftovers at home. The menu can only be viewed by scanning a QR code. The staff seemed very busy and perhaps understaffed. It took awhile to get their attention to get my ice tea refilled and also to ask for a To Go box and to pay. I do like the food here, so i will return.

Yelp
This place is amazing and I'm happy that this is in Santa Monica. Usually this place gets busy and doesn't take reservations so I'd recommend getting here no later than 10am or you will be waiting (especially if with a large group). The best dish to get here is the eggs Scandia. It is similar to the eggs Benedict except that instead of it being on an English muffin it is served on a croissant. The croissant bread with the cream cheese is such a great touch. There are multiple options to get for the eggs scandia but my favorite options are either the smoked salmon or the salmon cakes. The drinks here are spectacular. Pair it with a Turkish latte for that pick me up. So much flavor however it is a strong caffeine drink so if not used to caffeine I'd be careful. Additionally they have bacon bloody Marys (can order without bacon if you don't eat pork with no issues) which filled with flavor. Can make it a boozy brunch if trying to start the day off on another level. Thank you blue daisy for the great food and great experience. Can't wait until future visits.
