We stayed at an Airbnb nearby and decided to try Blue Daisy for breakfast with my wife and our 11-month-old baby on a Monday morning around 8 am. When we arrived, it was almost empty, but by 9 am, the place was completely full, which shows how popular it is!
The restaurant has a large and beautiful outdoor patio, which is perfect for enjoying the sunny Santa Monica weather. There’s also plenty of indoor seating if you prefer to dine inside. One of the highlights for us was that they had a high chair available, making it very family-friendly and convenient for parents.
[HOT DRINKS]
+Turkish Coffee (small, espresso size) for $5 - 4/5
+Turkish Latté (creamy and a touch of sweetness) for $6.50 - I didn’t try it, but my wife enjoyed it.
[BREAKFAST]
+Breakfast Combo (3 eggs any style, turkey bacon, French toast with fruit) for $20 - Everything was great, but I wished I ordered normal bacon instead of the turkey bacon. The turkey bacon was a bit dry and not as enjoyable as normal bacon would have been. - 4.5/5
+Breakfast Burrito (eggs, bacon, meatsauce, tomatoes, onions, cilantro, mix cheese, side of salsa, and mix green salad) for $20 - I didn’t try it, but my wife liked it a lot.
[SIDES]
+Seasoned French fries for $7 - 4.5/5
Overall, the food was delicious, and the atmosphere was welcoming and comfortable. It’s a great spot for breakfast or brunch, whether you’re with family, friends, or even solo. I’d definitely recommend it, and we’d love to come back again on our next visit to Santa Monica!
